Worst mount ever. I purchased the LG 83" OLED TV that came with this mount. Part of this tv package was a professional installation from a TV installer on the HANDY app. Today was the installation day and For starters this mount is pretty flemsy, the metal is very thin for the weight of this TV. Secondly, the plastic anchors do not work for drywall installation. They simply do not grab and tighten so the mount is reliant on the 4 corner bolts for mounting and because of that I now have a gap between my wall and the top of the bracket. The lag bolts are also way to skinny for the weight of this TV. Thats a big red flag. LG needs to recommend homeowners to install backing blocks between their wall studs in order to use all mounting holes on this wall mount bracket and they also need to have a certified Installation team for this Huge TV. I had to help the inexperienced installation tech to mount my TV and it was the hardest TV mount ive ever used. I love the flush mount look but my mount is damaged and barely holding my TV. I recomend 3 people to install this TV

Slim mounts not available
I have been waiting for these slim wall mounts to become available for months. Not sure why they no longer ship with 65” G4 ?? I have held off replacing my older LG due to the lack of mount availability. @LGUSSUPPORT can you help ?!

I’ve had the 65” G4 TV for 5 weeks now and unable to mount it as intended because the part isn’t available. Spent hours on the phone with LG getting the run around. Ridiculous that the tv is marketed as ultra thin flush mount, but the hardware is not available. May need to return the TV all because it can’t be mounted as advertised.

I bought the new G4 for the flat to the wall look and have been waiting for this mount to become available for months now. I bought the G4 on what was advertised but now it looks like the bait and switch con. Not impressed and won't recommend LG to anyone.

Missing Hardware - Needs Better Shipping Packaging
I bought this Slim Wall Mount direct from LG to mount a new 65” G4 and received it within a few days. The wall mount looks solid and well built. The reason for only 2 stars is the product was shipped in its OG box and by the time it was delivered the box was in bad shape and falling apart from handling. Worse than that, the mounting screws and wall anchors were missing. Of course I can and will go buy some screws and anchors to complete install but if the boxed mount would have been shipped in another box for protection, this could have been avoided.

where is the mount?
How long is it gonna take for you to finally get this in stock? If you’re gonna sell a TV that requires a special mount to fulfill the reason it warrants a premium price; you really need to have that accessory available for purchase. Scratch that you should have included it in the box. The only real reason to buy a G series TV is because you can flush mount it; for $2,600 you should include the mount. Get yourselves together; I’ve been waiting 3 months and still not mount available for purchase.

Good luck hitting multiple studs
Super frustrated with this product. Here’s why, typical household studs are 16 inches apart. The measurement of where you can screw the mount the length is less than 16 inches leaving you to utilize the anchors. The anchors included were terrible. The picture shows that they flare out however the ones that came with my G3 were straight. When I went to screw the screws in they fell right through the sheet rock. The instructions for the anchors is an example in concrete leaving me to think they are concrete anchors. The improper anchors and the length of the mount is leaving me with an additional expense to have it installed by a professional to ensure proper anchors are utilized since one stud on the side can be utilized. I can’t even provide any further review since my tv is still halfway in the box. Very disappointed..

Received empty box in the mail, support nightmare
Good luck with shipping and customer service....I received an empty box in the mail with this mount and LG has been less than helpful in resolving it over 2 weeks at this point. They shipped using FedEx and clearly someone stole the mount from within and taped up the empty box which made it to me. You'd think a multi-billion dollar, global electronics company would be able to resolve this quickly.

Received an empty box
Finally received the order from LG only to find that the box was empty. LG has not been able to resolve this yet and told me they "don't offer replacements for accessory orders" and I can't get a refund because I "can't return an empty box". They were supposed to call me back days ago with a resolution and it's been total silence

EMPTY BOX
UNBELIEVABLE! So its not just me but a few more customers have received empty box for a wallmount.
Their customer service is HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!. They wont send me another wallmount and wont refund me my money. GOOD THING I used paypal for payment and disputed the charge. Paypal opened a case and after no reply from LG for two weeks paypal gave me a full refund.
There was no communication from LG, NOTHING.
Pathetic.

Solid but installation is unnecessarily difficult
Product is hard to get after purchasing tv. Would be great if mount length was increased to allow you to mount into studs which are spaced 16 inch apart in North America. Current product length leaves you workarounds with toggle bolts,etc

Scammed, empty box delivered
I was delivered an empty box, LG not helpful in resolving the issue, just said call Fedex as it is not our problem.

WB22EGB - I purchased this from PC Richard and Son and like many others, UPS informed me that the box was empty and would notify the sender (PC Richard). I guess I can't blame PC Richard but somebody knew the box was empty when they attached a label to it.
I don't understand how a company as large as LG can not only be out of stock for so long and at the same time apparently be shipping empty boxes to its customers.

Empty box for mount and HORRIFIC customer service
Would give zero stars if I could. I had an empty box as well.
My first call included being accused of dishonest about the situation and a request to send them photo ‘evidence’. Multiple calls in total, photos of the empty box,hours on hold, and useless staff resulted in no refund and no new mount. Most insane thing I have ever experienced.
Never buying an LG again and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for committing what looks like could be theft at scale based on all the other reviews.
Never write reviews but had to on this one. Just pathetic.

Unavailability challenges
Have been waiting for this mount to be available for weeks, so that I can schedule the installation via handy. My TV has been sitting in a box. Many customers like me are interested in G4 because of flush mounting of this model.
Poor planning from LG as I see complaints for this for last few months. LG should provide an estimate when this could be available.
