It’s the perfect TV for gaming and allows you to play the PS5 on performance mode. 4K movies look incredible. My old one started shutting off on its own. I had purchased the extended warranty through Best Buy and it was a seamless process to replace. I suggest getting the extended warranty. Since COVID, TV’s aren’t of the same quality and have a shorter shelf life. Thrilled with the new tv. Glad I got the warranty.

When first turned on, the picture was not very good (to me), so I navigated to the picture settings menu. In these settings, "brightness" was greyed out. It said something about needing to turn off some automatic OLED setting in another menu in order to access the brightness setting, which I eventually found and did. Why isn't it in the same menu as all other picture adjustments? I was worried that I had spent a lot of money on a TV with a crappy picture. A small but annoying issue. After I found the setting, the picture looks fantastic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My LG C2 OLED TV I bough this TV a little longer than a month ago and so far I am very happy with the overall performance of this fantastic product. The picture is outstanding and the best I ever experienced. It has an amazing contrast and incredible detailed color when I watch my 4k blu-Ray videos or even when I watch anything from any of the streaming services. The panel is very thin and I am impressed that the back is made of good looking composite material I am happy that it is designed in a way that connections are easily manage The only thing I don’t like is the permanently attached power cable that makes it difficult to unplug the TV for restarting or beating on the way, if there’s a need to move it to a different place. In general, I can say that I am very please with the LG C2 OLED TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV I bought this TV a few months ago and love the picture quality. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything remotely close to this at this price point. The blacks are truly better than other TVs when watching dark scenes. The sound is not the best but connected it to the LG 5.1.3 sound bar, which provides a high quality sound. (Full disclosure, I only bought it the LG sound bar due to the stores discount for purchasing multiple items from the same manufacturer). I only wish this TV came in 75” vs 77”. I would have bought the 75 but 77 wouldn’t fit into my space. Overall great TV and more than worth it at today’s prices.

The perfect match for UHD movies, PS5 and Xbox Series X gaming. Mounted it on the wall with a simple 5.1 surround setup and a MediaLight bias light and I'm in heaven.

That one replaced a previous TV of a different brand for a similar reason. I chose this one because of the superb reviews that it had on multiple sites. It cost about 5 times more than my last one and is well worth it. Now when I watch a program, if I am distracted, it is by how perfect the picture is. It has all the advanced features I need and everything works well. I just love it.

Instead I have to navigate a menu. also, there are time when I turn it on and there is no sound. I have to turn it off and back on in order to get sound.

Did not use the included stand since I already had an after market stand which we prefer. Easy unpack and setup, automatically detected our HDMI connected sources. Remote work well with all existing hardware. Using our existing 8 year old 2.1 soundbar via optical output which sounds better than the built in speakers - the only thing we would improve. Looking to get a new sound bar soon.

Can’t simply change channels without going back through the guide button. The picture quality is good, sound is okay but in general it is a pain in the butt to operate.

Unfortunately about a month after we had it we started having problems with the sound. It would go up by itself or it would drop off by itself. Every once and a while it would make a poping sound when it did this. About two weeks ago we were watching a show and all of the sudden there was a loud bang and the whole thing quit working. I have been waiting on parts,so thy tell me, to repair it.

The new OS supports many more apps and is no longer sluggish and the picture quality is 10x better. Colors are natural and darker scenes look even better. The b7 is fantastic but the new C2 is leaps and bounds ahead. LG continues to amaze me with their OLED line and I will recommend this TV to anyone both new and old alike. Do yourself a favor and purchase this TV, you won’t be disappointed

I noticed when in the store the display of C3 definitely looked better than the C2 but reading specs and reviews they all mentioned negligible difference so went with C2 to save money. I noticed right away that the C2 didn’t blow me away but was just a good solid display, features and sound. The C3 is now slightly more expensive than the C2 so made an exchange and C3 did blow me away with the quality of the picture. I added in the SC9S soundbar with the compatible stand and the results are amazing. If you can afford the C3 go with that otherwise getting the C2 is a solid choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture I have had some issues with streaming - I'm not sure if it is a TV problem or an Xfinity issue - several times I have been unable to stream - I called Xfinity and the problem was eventually fixed but they said they are not that familiar with LG OLED. When I want to go to streaming, it takes a while. When I record a program and go to watch it, sometimes the picture doesn't fill the whole screen - I don't know why this happens.

Getting into my apps was more or less painless, except where I couldn't remember my passwords, but that is in no way a fault of LG. I am very happy with the TV. The color is great and a definite step up from the 2015 set I had.

I have watched most of the Star Wars and Star Trek movies over and over just to see the detail on the space ships and outer space background. Even the action sequences seem more three dimensional than on my old plasma set. The original Star Trek TV episodes even look more realistic. Great TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as a PC monitor for 4K HDR gaming I've had my C2 for a little over 2 weeks and I'm very happy with it so far. I'm using it mostly for PC gaming with some console gaming and other media consumtion as well. I have it set up on my desk and sit about 25 inches from the screen. Everything I've put on it (video games, movies, YouTube videos) looks great. My only complaints so far are that, one, I wish it had at least one DisplayPort input and I wish the screen didn't noticably dim when looking at mostly white/lightly colored pixels. It can make sunny days in games seem more like overcast.

The remote does not work well with my Directtv receiver and the rolling arrow on screen is horrendous. I will say the picture is outstanding as well as the sound.

It’s got great picture and it’s very intelligent when I want to switch over to my gaming system it recognizes I turned it on and switches over and adjusts setting based on what I’m doing on the TV. Its smart remote pointer is a little annoying but I’m sure I could turn it off if I tried to figure it out. Interface is meh. Not the best not the worst I’ve ever expierences.

The fact that the stand/input ports were in the center of the screen as I was upgrading my TV to fit on my current furniture stand which made me look at this design in the first place. The salesperson was very informed with the features of this TV model and why it was set apart from ALL the other manufacturers and sizes plus their lower prices. He convinced me that extra price for this newer model was well worth the cost. Even after I researched it more after my purchase, I found it was rated #1 in its class??

I use it mainly for playing videogames and it's hooked up to my Xbox XS. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the built in graphics goodies, along with 120hz, have left me a satisfied customer. I spent months debating what television I was going to purchase and I am 100% satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It died after 2 months of very light use I bought this TV, which was more expensive than other TVs, because I planned to buy no more TVs for many years. I use it primarily for streaming movies and series, and watch it <10 hours per week. After a couple weeks where I didn't watch any TV, I turned it on and the screen was blank. I could hear sound, but no picture. I did the recommended troubleshooting and then contacted LG when nothing fixed the problem. Long story short, it took multiple weeks for LG to send the appropriate ticket to the local certified LG repair shop (should have happened that day), and the initial repair attempt was unsuccessful. I am over 1 month out from the first day I realized it wasn't working, and am still waiting on additional parts, unsure whether those will solve the problem. I am very disappointed in the product and the customer service.

The single center stand is sturdy and attractive when placed on a classy TV cabinet. The packaging is sensible; the set-up is straight forward. Our only criticism is minor, but even with an mid-priced LG sound bar, the sound is not as crisp as the picture. I would buy again and recommend it to average users.

The color is more natural and I don't have to adjust either the volume or the color when I change channels or to the LG free streaming channels. I may just cut my cable in the near future because those free streaming channels have shown me that I don't need cable to get everything I want to view. Thank you LG !

After seeing how highly rated this TV was compared to other brands, I decided on this LG OLED 55" TV. I have not been disappointed. While the price was on the upper end of my budget, the picture quality justified the price point. I do wish the sound quality was a bit better. But that can be remedied with external speakers. Overall, definitely worth the purchase.

I wasn't going to buy such an expensive one but when I saw the picture quality compared to those around it, I decided to go for it. I'm not giving it the full five stars because the sound quality is not the best, with the speakers being on the bottom of the TV. A sound bar is almost a compulsory added extra. The menu is user-friendly, and the design is just right.

A Best Buy “Geek” installed it amidst cable wifi issues requiring three cable visits. Another Geek came to make adjustments and complete the set up, including labeling the different on-screen choices. There are still a few things about it to figure out.

The picture quality is noticeable and impressive. The 48" screen size is largest for the location that this TV is located. The space for the TV limits the screen size we can use. We were very happy to find the LG LG C2 42 INCH CLASS 4K OLED EVO W/ THINQ AI. It fits like a glove and since LG has a very tiny frame, we were able to increase the screen size. The picture is awesome! The viewing angle lets anyone sitting at the side see the same quality we see straight on. It apps included work very quick and we enjoy them.

My old TV was adequate for most viewing, but the OLED tech really does make a difference. Watching sports like hockey is really a treat! the colors and detail are incredible. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, magic remote TBD and instructions poor First I should say I'm not an electronic wiz and a smart TV and Magic remote without good manuals makes everything a challenge. My TV is set up with a AV receiver controlling sound and several other components. Due to my using a universal remote to control everything the people who set up the TV got it working but little else. The TV is great. Super picture and has lots of HDMI inputs, but since I was using the AVR for sound I had an immediate problem. Great picture no sound. It seems that the sound travels from the TV to the AVR via HDMI arc. My AVR which I have had for many years did not have HDMI arc. Now I have a new AVR and have sound. A magic remote is supplied and I suppose its good but with little to no easy to access user manual it has been a struggle to use it, same with the TV. I can access many apps but to use the remote to control things has been a real struggle. I have never had a problem with new electronics but having all manuals on line especially after having spent a good deal of money to purchase the TV is to me a real problem. Not everyone has a computer near their TV or a printer to print it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Thing Until An LG Glossy Gaming Monitor I thought 42" would be too much size for a desk but it's incredible. Great picture, great warranty. I had a defect after a few months and LG sent a guy out to replace the screen at no charge. 120Hz is enough for now because I do supersampling, but I'm looking for LG to come out with an UltraGear version that is glossy and at least 144Hz. Matte finishes on gaming monitors rob image quality at an astounding level and gloss isn't an issue because blinds and curtains. Besides the fact I mostly game at night. There are third party apps that make using this TV as a monitor tolerable, but it doesn't have the built-in coding to use Windows signals to go into standby, etc natively. The feet that come with it are great in that they are part of the cable routing, but they are non adjustable, so on my desk it leaned backwards and I used my 3D printer and some pieces of double sided tape to make a prop that goes from my wall into the slot molded into the back of the TV. Now it sits level, but a gaming monitor would have an adjustable stand and this wouldn't be necessary. Please come out with a glossy UltraGear version, or make C series TVs faster (add DisplayPort?) and give the 42" an adjustable stand and a true PC mode!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be any better I had been holding back from buying a 4k TV for a few years since I owned a 55-inch LG OLED TV, which I believe was the last OLED non-4K TV that LG ever made. The clarity of that TV was superb, particularly on normal cable channels. I had seen what cable channels looked like on early 4k TVs and was not at all impressed by the quality of the upscaled screen images. But now I no longer subscribe to cable channels, preferring to spend my TV watching Prime Video, Netflix, and a few others from time to time, rotating each of them in and out. The quality of these streaming services' movies and TV series is in a separate class on my new LG 55" C2 OLED. The clarity and color definition are impossibly good, making even a mediocre movie seem better. Note that I can't comment on the audio quality since I port the TV's audio out to an A/V receiver via optical digital .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Out of the box, sync issues at high resolution When it’s working it’s got a great picture, but trying to get support wasn’t so easy due to the LG website wanting my LG passwd, then wanting my LGAccount passwd and not taking it even though it’s correct, go figure.. worked around that and got a repair scheduled. It’s unfortunately intermittently not syncing on high res videos I think, like 4k stuff. Rest of the time though it’s got the best picture in my house!!

Obviously that's subjective but either way the PQ is just perfect, it's a joy to watch. Paired with my Sonos Arc and Sub, it's fantastic. I also used the LG slim wall mount which was very straight forward to install and has a smart design which actually allows the mount to recess into the back of the panel, so it sits very flush to the wall.

It is so complicated and offer no booklets for operating the controls. I am pretty good with directions but this TV has just about caused more ugly thoughts than I have ever had with a TV. It does have good clear picture but give me the old TV where it tells you off and on because this one is all guess work.

The color is very good and sound is just fine without enhancement for my needs. It is a great tv but the tv I had previously was pretty good, too. I think I am still adjusting to the brighter color which is great and will be very enjoyable . I am pleased that I made the investment in this LG OLED.

Once it started getting really bad I contacted Best Buy and also LG. It got to a point that the television would not stay on for more than 4 minutes. Then it reduced to not turning on at all. I just got my new tv panel installed yesterday. We were without a tv for one and a half months. When the tv works, the picture is amazing.

One complaint: There is a floating cursor that moves irregularly when you are making choices, and I find it very annoying. If there is a way to disable this function [in favor of using the arrow buttons], I have not found it.

I cut the cable wire when I purchased this and have never been happier. The picture is crystal clear (my older TV looked like watching through fog) and the WIFI was easy to set up.

I have called LG 5 times, emailed and left VM with the warranty repair provider, and still have no working TV to watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture I purchased the LG C2 OLED 65' TV. It's a terrific TV. The only problems I had is the Direct TV Stream App is not available on LG. So I had to use a Roku Stick and connect to TV. Which means I don't always receive 4K. Also. there is no 3.5 Jack for my Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones. So there is no way to use them. Otherwise with the correct settings the picture is terrific.

The streaming apps are well supported and easy to operate between. I’m still struggling with juggling remotes for DirecTV but think that might be an issue with my tech skills rather than the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tv a little scary at first I bought this a month ago and wall mounted it myself with little issue. Knit picky things- I wish the plug was just a normal size and shape. It did not fit the wall pass through product without another extension chord that all has to tuck be hind the tv. One other thing is that when I first got the tv turned on my heart sank. There was a 2 inch vertical banding that was obvious just right of center running from top to bottom. I even made a service call to lg. after researching (YouTube) a bit, luckily I found that this banding went away with usage and a “screen cleaning” cycle. Can’t remember what it is called exactly. Now it is beautiful to watch. Other notes- I had to upgrade my cables and AV receiver to utilize the full capabilities of this tv. But I was upgrading from 1080p plasma.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture, Intolerable interface This was a great purchase and while the picture is a fast step ahead of my prior TV, I was a bit surprised at the limited I/O options, and the disappointing WebOS interface LG offers. It's particularly discouraging that some features require an account to be set up, and that ads are present. The 4 stars are for picture quality, which could be better, but for the price is fine. The missing star is for my other complaints.

The blue color range really pops, and the display has great depth to the images. The sound from the tv speakers is solid. A sound bar would probably help improve the sound quality.

I lose connection at least once a day and it is a pain to get it reconnected. It isn't my WiFi signal because all of my other electronics connected don't have an issue. I have contacted LG customer service because the 1 year warranty is still active through LG. I am on week 3 and still no repair yet.

They said they had to order parts for the repair from LG. My television of which we paid a lot of money for has been down for weeks with no idea on how long it will take for the pars and repair to happen.

However, I was able to eliminate that with the help of LG chats and have it default to my HDMI1 when turned on. Not at all happy with the magic remote, too complex and difficult to control the arrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed, so far I've had this TV for one month. There are many features I've yet to explore and potentially enjoy. I can only comment on the features I've tried. The following comments are in order of importance. In the beginning, the picture was horrible. All auto-picture settings produced grossly over-driven colors. Most people's faces glowed orange. Everything else looked like a cartoon. Some bright red objects even pulsated in brightness. I was about to return the TV until I read that this is characteristic of new OLEDs, their extreme over-intensity should calm down after a couple hundred hours of use. Well, after 150 hours of use, the color intensity has finally begun to settle down. It still needs further improvement before I can give this picture a good rating. Clarity of broadcast TV seems good, aside from the blooming of the over-driven bright colors. So far, I see little difference between broadcast and 4k video. Hopefully, the picture quality will continue to improve during the break-in period. If it's typical for this model to require two months of break-in use before the picture is acceptable, LG and retailers should at least warn potential customers that they're about to pay good money for a product they will absolutely hate to watch during their first two months of ownership. This lack of openness will be forefront in my mind when shopping for my next TV. Had I been aware of this break-in period, I would have kept my old failing plasma TV to watch until this new one was properly broken-in. If you're happy with the picture adjustment as it came out of the box or, if you're happy using the exaggerated preset picture modes, fine. If you like to fine tune the picture settings to your viewing conditions, you're stuck with using a single customizable mode requiring you to make adjustments to multiple settings every time viewing conditions or video sources change. I wish LG had included multiple customizable picture modes to allow the customer to preset a variety of his/her own customized modes. Beyond the picture quality, the next major source of frustration is the "Magic Remote" control. Did no one try using this device before it was rushed into production? In dim lighting, the black buttons on the black body of the remote all feel too similar to each other. I often press the wrong button, needing to turn on the lights in order to straighten everything out. Occasionally, the remote's on-screen TV pointer is useful. But more often, it either disappears too soon or appears when it wasn't requested. The tiny center wheel/OK button is poorly designed. Often, when attempting to press the wheel to select an item on screen, unless you concentrate intently on only pressing straight down on the wheel, the wheel will rotate under your thumb causing you to inadvertently select the wrong item. Frustrating. Equally frustrating is the TV's webOS. Its primary purpose is to sell you junk, junk streaming "services" and so-called "free" TV channels that charge you by interrupting shows forcing you to watch annoying commercials for crap you'll never purchase. What "marketing genius" felt it would be a good idea to annoy and frustrate its customers with this shameless onslaught of junk TV. Just because other TV manufacturers sell out to junk streamers, is that any reason to copy them? Please, how do I disable all future "LG channels"? New "LG channels" spontaneously add themselves to my channel lineup, causing me to curse LG every time I'm driven to navigate through the many layers of menus to individually remove each new junk channel from my personal lineup. The available streaming apps are extremely limited. The list is bloated with junk apps. You'll need to use your own external streaming box if you want to use an app not included in webOS. Their app store is poorly designed, frustrating and very slow to respond. The TV's on-screen guide is poorly designed, not intuitive and slow to respond. Episode information is limited to only a short description. Episode numbers or any clue as to its original date of airing is absent. Hopefully, they'll issue regular firmware updates to the operating system, there's plenty of opportunities for improvements. Hopefully, I'll grow to enjoy this TV. The basic hardware engineering seems solid, it's the human interface that's disappointing. I want a TV with a great picture, a good sensitive tuner and a number of HDMI inputs. I don't like paying good money for a device that's been designed to sell me junk I don't want. I'd gladly pay a premium for a TV that works properly straight out of the box and hasn't been designed to push compensated content my way. Actually, I thought I had paid a premium for just that thing. One last comment. My installer warned me, "Don't expect this TV to last more than 2 years, 5 years if you're lucky." Here's your opportunity, LG, prove him wrong. My last TV worked flawlessly for 13 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic C2 picture quality. Now that i have turned off the automatic picture setup and just gone with the Standard setting, i love the picture. Some of the other picture settings are just too overdriven out of the box. I might go back and try them again later but for now the Standard is just right. The Home page is a bit overbearing with all the product hawking but now that i have the hang of it i can just ignore the fluff. Finally figured out the eARC setup to my Yamaha receiver so that now is very convenient to have basically a one touch on for all listening needs.

I paired this with a soundbar, I play my games on it, I stream cast from my phone directly to the TV and it is beautiful. this is almost a perfect television.

Had a fantastic picture but less than 7 months later the screen developed both horizontal and vertical lines and streaking. Filed a maintenance claim and after 2 weeks was told no techs were available in my area so was offered a full purchase refund, which I accepted. Loved the picture and quality (while it lasted), made the movies and games I play on my Series X look fantastic. Hoping my next tv has the same picture quality without breaking down so quickly.

We purchased the first one because of the Internet channels feature in the OS which eliminated the need for us to pay silly cable TV costs. Turns out the television was also excellent so when we got a second home at the coast, we bought this television and have been extremely satisfied with it. It is light enough to carry by yourself, comes with a stand, has an absolutely incredible picture and still has the full featured and very intuitive webOS. This was one of the least expensive televisions at Best Buy but exceeded our expectations in every category.

My TV didn't come with a users manual, and when I called you to get one I was told none were available, and that I should just download it from your web site. That's 149 pages! Get rid of the remote, and go back to one that has clearly labeled buttons.

My only negative comment is concerning the audio. The audio sounds great and can be tailored to different “styles”. BUT no matter what I do, the volume increases dramatically during commercials. This may be caused by the program provider itself, but I never had this problem with the old tv.

To the 2 after returning home. Once the Prime day sales hit. I knew it was a no-brainer. Arrival came a few days after purchase. Carried it upstairs and commenced with replacing my 55" LG with the 65" C2. After unboxing and attaching the stand, I still am amazed at how thin this tv really is. It's truly amazing. The wife and I easily placed the tv in place and fired it up. After a few minutes we both noticed something odd. My heart fell to the floor. I turned off the tv, let it set a minute and turned it back on. Yup it was still there. A red line about the width of a pixel, about 6 inched from the right edge of the tv was plainly visible. Heartbroken I contacted Amazon and they replied with RETURN only. No exchange. My excitement for this tv was now starting to sour. My next step was to contact LG. Being under a 1 year warranty I figured there was surely something that could be done. After chatting with a representative online all my concerns were met with positive solutions. A local electronics repair shop was scheduled and my tv was repaired, WITHIN A WEEK. It was completely painless. I am also amazed at how fast the repair actually took. From the time Patrick arrived at my door until the time he was finished was 45 minutes. Props to LG for Taking a bad situation and making it right with ease. Now on to the good stuff. The picture quality is nothing short of stunning. Colors pop and the detail is amazing. Gaming is also on a other level! LG, you have a customer for life. Thank you for your support.

The picture quality and depth of colors are great. Also enjoy the viewing angle since my chair sits off side to the TV and I have no issues. The only thing I would change is the volume and channel buttons on the remote to be more elevated or larger. Great TV and I added the LG extended warranty as well.

It's filled with ads and clutter and takes longer to load than the simple UI on the CX. Other than that, the picture quality is perfect! I have it on a mount so whenever I swing it to see it from my dining table, I feel like I'm gonna break it because it's so thin!

However, the previous version had a problem with the screen (a small imperfection) that wasn't noticed until it was almost out of the original warranty period. The retailer had added a second year, which was completely fictitious. As a result of LG's profoundly disappointing customer service experience, I can't give five stars across the board. As a first-time LG product owner, some form of courtesy could've been extended, but I was "DK-ed" ("don't know you") by the customer care division of the company. This TV is fine, but I wouldn't have had to purchase a second one if the first one hadn't had this slight mar on the screen. We didn't notice it because we'd just had cataract surgery coincidental to its arrival, and it took time for our vision to return. I didn't even think to look for a long time. Check your TV carefully and be assertive with any issues you find. Customer Care isn't what it used to be for almost any Internet-based transaction now, and LG isn't unique in this regard. I had hoped for better from them. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Caveat Emptor.

My games come to life like never before and as a bonus, if I get tired of playing, I just switch over to television and relax. The picture quality is first-rate and the black levels are about the best I've seen. I also have a 77 inch LG OLED for the living room which is why I thought it would be a good idea to get a smaller version for my PC. I could not be happier with my purchase or this TV (monitor). This is now my fourth LG OLED (Three have been great, one was nothing but problems). So far, I am utterly in love with the picture quality, the pure blacks, and the extra real estate this TV affords me. I have a gaming PC that is also connected and it looks amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very quality tv Been using this tv for a month now and It has really impressed me. I’ve never spent so much money on a tv but I can certainly see the difference. I mainly use the tv through my xbox rather than through the smart tv functions and it seems to work just as good. I would definitely recommend messing around with the calibrations, brightness, and saturation features ect.. you can always reset but it makes a big difference when you tune it to your liking. It was pretty easy to unbox and set up the stand, but i was concerned when picking it up because it is so thin! My only gripe which is minor is that the remote has way to many buttons and could have been made much simpler. Would have been nice to have a light feature for the buttons for when your watching movies in a very dark room. And also that the remote is so glossy, it actually reflects the light from the screen which is annoying. Other than that it has been great so far, will see how it hold up over the years.

I've owned a couple of LG TV's in the past, and when shopping for a newer TV, I always start with LG as I've been very happy with them in the past. It's LG's business to lose, but each time I do carefully compare LG to other brands, models and price by shopping at a large electronics store. This time I wanted a larger screen but didn't want to sacrifice picture quality. I was also looking for good deal. The LG OLED 65 popped for me in the store, the sale price was fair, and now I could not be happier with it's quality mounted on my wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The reviews were right! Before buying this model I researched multiple sites reviewing OLED, QLED, etc. 55” TV’s. The consensus was this model was the best and they weren’t wrong. The webOS is easy to navigate. I had it installed on a wall and even the installer said it was his favorite TV. The picture is great, the colors are vibrant and the black is pitch black. It was a tad disconcerting the first time a video faded to black during a scene change because the screen went completely black. In my other TV’s the scene faded to black but it wasn’t completely black. I plugged it in to the 5.1 setup I have and it worked perfectly immediately. When I listen to an internet radio station or streaming service on my AV receiver I can see what’s playing by simply turning the TV on and selecting the connection used by the AV receiver. It’s a great TV at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV until it died 6 weeks later I loved everything about this until its power supply unit died 6 weeks after owning it. It was outside the window of replacing the whole unit from best buy. So I had to wait just over a week for everything to be fixed. Hoping it was just a fluke and i didn't get a lemon. The picture quality was amazing. I use a sound bar cause I haven't met a TV that comes with good sound. I love the home menu and navigating around the screen. The magic remote is excellent. Only reason I gave a low rating is because my tv died after 6 weeks which should never happen when you pay 2k for a tv

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New TV We purchased this new TV about a month ago to replace an older 1080P LG that was beginning to have sound problems. The picture is bright, the colors are saturated and the sound is so good, I am not using my auxiliary amplifier and speakers. The TV is much lighter and easier to set up and can be viewed from the side more successfully than the one it replaced. My only (mild) criticism would be the process required to get to the dish signal, on the old one it was turn it on and there it is. I also like the artwork and music that can be run when not watching broadcast TV. The access to amazon prime movies is also significantly easier and faster than using the blu-ray player we used to access this feature.

It's just too busy for my taste. The remote is not my favorite, but I'm getting used to it. But the picture is where it's at!! I have alot of 4K discs and they have never looked better. Concidered the G2 but the price differental pushed me away for the small difference in brightness. Very happy so far.

Have a 48" C1 Oled and this is a huge improvement, really how can a TV get any better? The color and brightness are 2nd to none. Love the fact that all hdmi ports are 4k 120Hz because no matter which one I plug my Xbox Series Xinto it's going to utilize all the best features. Now only if my Denon AVR-X2200W was a newer model so that everything worked in sync, flawlessly together. Now I know what my next purchase is going to be.

The blacks and the vibrant colors are everything I wanted to see on a TV. My parents absolutely love the TV so much that we have made the room into our theater area. The remote could use some shrinking, especially since I, like many others, don't have cable, but I can live with that. Oh, the gaming is superb. AAH, THE COLORS. God of War never looked better; also, the gaming menu is such a helpful addition. All I have to do now is pair it with an LG soundbar, and my immersion will be complete.

I wanted outstanding quality for both as a TV and a replacement for my aging 27" computer monitor. What a difference. I now have a wonderful computer monitor with plenty of room to do photo editing or have multiple apps open at the same time. When I want to watch TV I have the outstanding OLED quality that LG is famous for. I couldn't be happy with my purchase.

I have been researching TV’s for about two years now knowing this TV was getting near its end. The LG OLED was the TV I wanted. The picture provides vivid colors, black blacks, and good motion response for watching sports. All the features of a plasma that I enjoyed for years. When my old TV failed I immediately replaced with the LG OLED. I am pleased with my decision.

We were so impressed with the picture quality. I had planned on purchasing the C1 version of this fantastic TV. When getting ready to purchase, I saw that there was a newer C2 version. I looked at some online reviews (both print and video) and chose the C2. The picture is STUNNING...from EVERY ANGLE! We have a very bright room and still, the picture is amazing. At night, when things get darker, the picture is even more amazing. Anything that is in 4K just jumps off the screen. The blacks are so black, also. It makes those dark scenes (like in GOT, House of the Dragon, or Rings of Power) much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend...you won't be disappointed. We use a 4K Apple TV for our content. Audio is through a receiver to our sound system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture, but Home Screen & Menu poor I've had this TV for a couple of months now. The picture quality is fantastic. I can't imagine a better image on another TV. That said, I am very annoyed by the chaotic Home Screen. You can edit the position of main categories rows, but can't choose to delete most of the content (and I'd like to dump most of it). Also, the menu for adjusting settings is overly complicated and not user-friendly. One key issue is there are usually multiple paths to get to any particular setting, which makes it difficult to follow and know the logic of the programming. How is this helpful? It feels like a giant maze designed by engineers who intricately understand what's going on, but makes it baffling for someone who wants the menu to help me to discover the capabilities of the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4K 12HZ This T.V. Is Every Gamers Dream. The Lg Oled 65c2 is absolutely beautiful and a must have if you game. I purchased this 65 inch for my living room. The 120hz refresh rate really makes a difference when competing in online games. The difference it makes in shooting games is I see you the same time you see me. With previous t.v. someone with a faster refresh rate may see me before I see them. This levels the playing field. Now it just comes down to skill. I recommend this t.v. for gaming hands down 5 out of 5. Cons be careful. This t.v. is very thin and light weight. I suggest you use two people like the directions say for lifting and base assembly. You may damage it doing it by yourself. Also you have to lay the t.v. face down to attach the stand. Be prepared to maybe use your bed or sofa. Also the direction are not that good. It's just pictures no steps. I missed a step because I did not apply force to push the stand in place before screwing it in. It's an easy fix just look the stand assembly up on youtube. When transporting from the store get a vehicle so you can transport the t.v. upright.

Called LG customer service and was told that there is nothing they can do. This is not how to retain a customer. Not sure if I would buy another LG equipment due to this encounter. I went shopping at Best Buy and the sales person showed me the OLED televisions from LG. I can say that this was the best choice I could’ve made. We have this as a 77 inch wall mounted unit, hooked to a brand new PS5 gaming console. I never knew what I was missing until I played video games and watched 4K movies from the streaming services.

Where is the usb 3 and usb c ports? You cannot play a movie from a portable hard drive without a usb 3 or higher speed. Connectivity is the most important thing to me and LG is using old out of date electronics. Useless to me. I don't want it. I am really disappointed in LG.

We loved the brightness, the detail, and the reliability of our LG OLED. In the 8 years we had the first OLED we did not have any problems. For us there was not other option. A new LG OLED is what we chose.

What attracted me to this instead of the C1 is the build quality (significantly lighter) and better chip, which does correct for some colors to be brighter when observed carefully... Even though this is hardly noticeable. I think the implementation of AI was a great idea and I hope that the greater emphasis on the processing will mean the TV color accuracy will continue to improve over time. I place a lot of importance on color accuracy and motion realism, and what drew me to this brand was an insistence on being less gimmicky in how they approached this. However, other TVs (albeit more expensive) do have better color/picture accuracy. *I can't speak much for the motion realism In comparison to other brands... I will say the options for adjusting this were very straightforward and simple.* Despite the color/picture accuracy flaws, it is also why I place so much hope in the future processing improvement the chip offers, because in my humble opinion, it's not there yet. Particularly with black crushing. I will also point out the difficulty of having the TV calibrated... I'm trying to find a means to learn/have this done without shelling out half a grand. Meanwhile, other brands make it possible to do yourself with your cellphone? This is a major, major loss in the power of the product reaching the consumer... Although it can be argued that this is merely software and it can be updated. So I'm holding out hope for this. I was pretty dissapointed with the sound of AI applied to sound... It's dramatically worse with something characterized as meaning to be an improvement. Perhaps it was intended for soundbar? Idk. Even with my criticism, I think the strategy and approach to the creation of this product is superior... So I give it 5 stars to represent the future software improvements it is capable of implementing. As a standalone for how the product is today, I give it 4 stars. There are too many places the TV falls short with respect to other brands.. albeit small. The consumer wants accessibility and maximum performance. Not performance the everyday user can live with, or what is cost competitive... Even though it is true that I don't want to shell out a fortune for a TV... Performance, even if it's at first unnoticeable, matters. My perception adjusts to the flaws over time, unfortunately. Either way, thank you for trading me copious amounts of money for such a great product. It's worth it. (More or less) One more thing... I don't know your relationship with other streaming services, but Crunchyroll seems all but impossible to use on TV. I despise corporate walls like this. I found a workaround, but barely. I can't exactly square it to being the fault of LG, but it's getting ridiculous how market competition can sometimes result in a worse experience for the consumer. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention at the very least.

I am still adjusting some of the settings, but out of the box the picture was like no other T.V. I had. Was talked into it by the wife mainly I wanted it for video games xbox series S this TV is absolutely mind blowing. I've had a Samsung 55 flagship did not like it only had 60 refresh rate.Didn't know it bought a Samsung again but hated it. Less than 2 years we buy the LG 77 Evo And out of the Box no dinking with the colors no touching the colors I will never ever buy Samsung again the reason I bought a Samsung mainly LG quit making plasma still a superior picture until today

I had long eyed the OLED world, and wondered when would be the right time to pull the trigger. The 77" LG C2 finally fit the sweet spot of size, price, performance, and features, and we replaced our 8-year-old main TV. We mounted the TV in our living room, got everything hooked up, performed quick color calibration, and have been up and running ever since with no complaints. The contrast from absolute black to nearly pure bright white is incredible. Colors are far more vibrant. Very happy with my purchase!

In the show room the picture was nice & clean but I didn't really notice how nice & crisp the picture really was till we got it home & away from the other TV's & like "WOW" we just couldn't believe how much we had been missing watching just plain old TV shows, almost wish I had an X-Box to see how it would look on the new TV.

I have it hooked up to my dish network receiver and at 1080p ( because that’s all Dish broadcasts in ) the picture is incredible in my opinion. Even better when I stream 4K content obviously. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will stick with LG from here on out.

Every movie, shows and games that my family and I have watched has been nothing but extraordinary. Of course with new pieces of tech, there were some problems when shifting the settings around, but they were taken care of quickly. I hope to see more updates soon to take care of any other bugs I may have missed and improve the UI. The picture quality is fantastic (of course it is, it's an OLED), the blacks look black, and certain scenes feel incredibly life like. Now my family wants to see everything new on the new TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First OLED TV. Never going back! LG has made a winner. I love the way it handles the very dark scenes. Finally a flat screen that doesn't go digitally blotchy. The tv menus are good. The OTA guide loads and functions wildly wonderful. Far superior to my 6yr old, top of line curved tv. The remote control for this LG beats the curved tv remote down like a color tv does to a black & white tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture, Poor Set-Top Box Integration We bought a 65C2 OLED TV and enjoy the wonderful picture. We are disappointed that LG has not spent the time to properly integrate our Charter Spectrum set-top box with the TV so that we can use the Guide feature built into the LG WebOS system. We are forced to use the set-top box remote control and Guide and it is not nearly as nice as the LG built in Guide. The LG OLED TV improperly thinks our set-top box is a Verizon box and because of this it will not allow the built in Guide feature to work properly. The reason we are aware of this is that we had an older 65C8 (2018 model) LG OLED TV and our Charter Spectrum set-top box worked properly with the TV. So, we know what we are missing, so to speak. This software bug in the TV was seen by the Best Buy Geek Squad technical team and they confirmed this issue is in other new LG OLED TVs as well. We are hoping that LG will pay attention to this detail and make corrections to the WebOS software so that we can use the nice built-in Guide with our Charter Spectrum box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic picture quality I had this installed 3 weeks ago and I have been disappointed. The TV is wall mounted in a small room and looks like part of the decor. I'm still learning how to use all the features, but I am getting there. The wheel on the remote is a little clumsy (at least for me) but I should be able to get used to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't know tv could look so good! Had this tv two-three weeks now and I am IMPRESSED! Easy to set up and the picture! WOW! The picture is fantastic at the least. Small learning curve for the magic remote but got the basics now and it is cool. Having Alexa, etc. buttons built in to the remote is very cool and clears clutter. The picture, in case I forgot, is fantastic! Extremely happy I made this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect TV/Monitor combo! I've had the 42" C2 model since the 25th of September. I have absolutely loved this TV so far for watching TV and using it for my PS5 and PC as the main display. Quality: The build quality is fantastic, the TV is extremely light but very solid at the same time. The bezzeles are also thin so it's very nice if you don't like thick bezzeles. Performance: I have it set to 120hz for 4k pc gaming, gsync enabled. I got the calibration settings from the RTINGS website. There's no ghosting, no smearing. I haven't encountered any visual issues on either console or pc. It's fantastic for FPS games as well if that's what you play the most. All the games I've played look fantastic whether it's RPG, FPS, Racing, etc. Overall: It's a fantastic TV for gaming above all. If you wanna use a TV for gaming/movies this is the TV. If you're able to get it on a sale as well then this is the absolute best TV you can get new. At worst if you don't like it then you can return it within the return policy of the place you purchased it but I doubt it would be returned considering how great it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from compared c1 2018 model vs c2 2022 model the 8k oled tv upscales 480p to 8k. the question is , do you see the difference. the answer is proberly not in the real world. in the future there will be 8k movies. i saw a 8k tv at best buy an i did see the extra detail in pic from a 4k to 8k but the video lg provides for demos in stores is not real world 8k results. they use souped up videos to make it look better. for example, there 4k video demo looks better than 4k movies. i can tell you that i own a lg c1 tv i bought in 2018 an that pic is better than the c2 i bought in 2022 because there is no hdr feature in the c2 when you lower the oled brightness. i compared both tvs side by side in my bedroom. i was in shock that the c1 older oled had a better pic than the newer c2 2022 model when the hdr effect is enabled. the c2 does not have the hdr effect feature. i got the c2 close to the c1 but the c1 had the better pic. this is an honest review, please post this lg.

The remote was a bit to figure out at first for this old dog but once I got it, no problem(s). Like the features where it is so easy to switch between streaming services. I will be buying another one of these TV's soon to replace my 14 year old LED. I have had other BIG name TV's but this one has the best picture I have seen so far!

I already own several LG products, including an earlier “65 OLED TV, so when I was looking for a nice large screen system for our family room, I immediately started looking at LG. I read all the reviews from various techie sites. It was a near unanimous opinion, “LG is the best!” I went to the showroom to get a look at it. As usual, the showroom showed an incredible picture, dazzling colors, deep blacks. I thought if it looked half this good in my home, I’d be tickled pink. So I bought it and had to wait for what seemed like an eternity to have it delivered (It was really only a few days). The store delivered it and we mounted it and fired it up. I was speechless! It looked even better than it did in the store. Every bit as colorful as in the store with bright colors and deep blacks. Even without a surround sound system, (that’s next), the TV sounds great! Since the TV was delivered on a Friday, I couldn’t wait to watch some college football games on it. When Saturday rolled around, I grabbed my sunscreen (JK), parked myself in my favor seat and fired up the first game. By the time the first quarter ended I got up and started looking for the concession stands. The experience was so realistic, I had to remind myself I was at home and not in the stadium. There are many companies competing in this area and I have, in the past, owned one or two of their products, but never again. LG owns this market as far as I’m concerned. Thank you for exceeding all of my expectations.

Sound quality is not bad considering it's built-in and is better than previous televisions; clear voice and no strange volume jumps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV Bought this a few weeks ago to replace our 2nd Vizio tv that’s screen went black for no reason (happened on both old Vizio tv’s) The LG OLED552C is the BEST TV we’ve ever had. Crisp colors, clear picture, love it’s a smart tv, we’re ditching cable and will be streaming. Easy to use! Love the base for tv is in the middle bottom so I didn’t have to go buy a new tv stand. Con: taking out of the box- there were no written directions- only s sheet with pictures. I couldn’t see it clearly so I ended up going to You-tube to figure how to assemble the base to the tv. Definitely need 2 people to carry it. Ladies- hide the remote so you husband doesn’t hog the tv!

Many top streaming apps are not compatible with LG’s platform (ex ESPN+), so very disappointing that you can’t watch these. The TV’s audio quality is also not very good / sounds a bit muffled or distanced so you will most likely also need to buy a sound bar on top of the TV itself.
