Now 2 weeks later we find out the parts are on backorder and no one at LG will reply with additional information. TV looks great when it's on. So that is one positive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG OLED A2 I am always impressed with LG OLED, this is my third LG 4K OLED, I have one in each room of my house. I purchased my first LG on 2017 and then another one on 2019. On 2022, I purchased the “A2”, I was told that newer LG is less prone to burn-in issues. I am glad I purchased it, color is accurate out of the box, I hardly have to adjust the picture settings. I always like the way LG depicts Dolby Vision, it has the most realistic rendering than other TV manufacturer that I have ever seen and compared. If you are concerned of “A2” quality, fear not. LG OLED TV, in my opinion, deserve a second look. If you are in the market of buying a new TV, A2 OLED is a wise choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forget about movie theatres if you own an OLED I bought this TV a month ago and since then, I haven’t stepped out of the house much. The picture is so clear and crisp that you would be totally involved. It does take some time for the AI picture to learn about your pixel speed in the starting of a movie or song but once that’s done, the clarity does the justice. Premium TV with a great smart remote that isn’t offered in other brands, you can literally move the remote like a mouse on the screen!! The black illumination is really appreciative, gives great contrast to the movies you are watching. After OLED, anything and everything you see otherwise will be inferior. LG is one of the most reliable smart TV providers out there, It’s my second TV and never disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No color filters OLED TV buyers are critical about picture quality. They want to tweak to factory settings to optimize the picture. To do that you need RGB filter settings in the TV, because color gel filters are not accurate enough. My $250 43” LG has these filters; this OLED does not. This is an egregious omission.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null We bought a 55in OLED55A2PUA on sale about a month ago and couldn't be happier with the picture quality compared to our 5 year old 65in Visio, which had developed 5 moons. You can customize the image quality to your liking, but the clarity and dynamic range with true blacks are truly amazing compared to what the old TV could do. The default AI settings are useless, however. Just be sure to turn them all off and set your own for the type of content you watch most. The webUI is pretty good once you figure out where everything you want is and you can customize it a bit to hide features or streams you don't use. Plenty of youtube videos to explain where everything is. This is a fantastic TV for watching films (in cinema mode) and nature shows, which if filmed in 4K look unbelievably spectacular.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic with one caveat We’ve had this TV for a couple weeks. Excellent image out of the box. Even better with tweaks to your liking/room, e.g. motion settings, picture type,, etc. The AI settings are great. The magic remote takes a little getting used to, but is a useful tool. All in all definitely pleased with this purchase. The caveat: I cannot get the unit to start on the Home Screen even though all settings to do so are right. It always defaults to the last input used (e.g. one of the smart tv apps). Not a big deal to switch it back when turning in the tv, so a minor issue really. Spent about 2 hours with LG support, who were unable to correct this despite taking over control of the unit. They finally actually reset the tv to factory defaults without asking me if it was ok. This wiped out all the network and app logins as well as the setting tweaks I spent time making. Had to do it all again. Not happy. Bottom line: great TV. I’d buy again But support wasn’t so good.

I can turn on the new TV but I have to navigate the remote to get my providers program, not just pressing on ans seeing programing, works. Volume is awkardly place on the remote

The picture quality is excellent, and the smart TV features allow us to ditch other streaming devices, and go back and forth from streaming services to terrestrial TV seamlessly. The pointer is a bit wonky, but it's easy to get out of if you'd rather click around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED will change everything! There’s something special about being able to watch movies and play games on this OLED screen. The blacks are absolutely black and provide a stunning quality picture. Though we’re using a home theatre, initially tested the TV speakers are it was surprisingly good and has good spatial sound. Remote is cool with option to point and click or use traditional buttons. I have an echo device in the room so having Alexa on the remote is redundant for me, but a nice options for others who don’t. The remote’s voice assistant is sub par at best but confident it will improve with future updates.

I was happy with the old one, but decided to splurge on the OLED version and I am glad I did. The pic is awesome and noticeably clearer than the old one. One of the best features is the remote that controls my TV, sound bar and cable box. One remote to rule them all!

We TV shopped for a while before making this purchase, and after visiting store after store and researching we continued to come back to the LG OLED options. We are fairly casual TV viewers and don't game but we wanted something that made us feel like we were really immersed because we have a baby and that TV time when the baby goes to sleep is now a sacred activity. This TV really checks all the marks, great picture, color, clarity and sound. The price point is exactly right if you want a high quality TV but also need to go to Costco on a bi-weekly basis to buy millions of diapers and wipes and precooked meals.

I wish there were some other included settings like saturation and a straight forward setting to just turn off the tv audio for use with a home theater amplifier, but to get there is very difficult. The picture sharpness seems to degrade when the set is on for 6-7 hours. I do like the feature rich apps that are available for this tv though I do not use them that often. I wish there was a better link to other systems like an easier way to connect to a home theater receiver. The tv seems to be steered towards users who have a soundbar or who just use the tv speakers. I also wish they had a service menu that has basic adjustments for color, tint, contrast and saturation.

The only problem I had was the remote would not turn the TV on and off unless I was right up close to the TV. There was nothing blocking on the TV and I put new batteries in. LG is sending me a new remote. Will receive today. They did a fast replacement.

Plus going with the A2 it was just what our Living Room needed. Also, the first TV that I have installed on a wall mount. That worked out awesome as well.
