Already had the main board replaced and the screen replaced. Luckily still in warranty. We do not want this TV. I asked LG to speak to a service manager, but they have not called. We want to know what our options are.

Kept shutting off from day 1, had to replace main board. Then we got a line the length of the screen, had to replace the entire screen. All within the first 7 months. I asked to talk to a field manager from LG, ghosted.

Great TV. Love the brightness and vivid colors.
I am incredibly happy with my new LG TV Series 85A. The picture quality is amazing—vibrant, lifelike colors, excellent contrast with perfect blacks, and razor-sharp 4K detail that really brings movies and shows to life.
The sound is surprisingly good for built-in speakers; it's clear and immersive, though a soundbar would likely enhance the experience further.
Setup was a breeze, and it connects effortlessly with my other LG devices especially if you have ThinQ app.
I was also impressed by the performance of 120Hz refresh rate which makes for very smooth gameplay.
Overall, it's a modern TV that offers fantastic value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality viewing experience!

This is an amazing TV. Perfect size for my room and great picture and sound. Easy to navigate and has many options. I will be buying another one for the living room area.

LG virtual gift card program is a scam
Dont fall into the trap of the gift card program they run, nobody seemed to have received it and they closed the campaign stating that the gift cards were in limited quantity and it's first come first serve, how can you advertise that as a promotion with vague language.
be mindful of the offers on LG site, BJs had a competitive pricing and 5 years warranty, I decided to buy from LG for the additional 200$ gift card as the difference

Poor bleed through, horrible return experience
Bought this tv after seeing it in the local store. Got it delivered directly from LG. Noticed very quickly it had significant, distracting and intolerable bleed through from the LEDs. Contacted customer support. They were friendly and accepted and arranged my return. That’s when things went really bad. They took weeks to pick it up. After pickup they never issued a refund within the stated timeframe. After multiple calls to customer service and “escalations” we are still awaiting a refund. We also purchased all new appliances from LG. After this experience we are contemplating returning them as well just so we don’t have to experience this again.

From LED to Mini-LED: This TV is crazy good
This TV is amazing! The MINILED backlighting is great and the colors are vivid with many options that are good to change in different scenarios. I use Dolby Vision, and it just looks amazing in a bright room. Reflections aren't much of a problem like other TV's, this one has it controlled the best out of a couple different ones. Also, the built-in OS is very fast! Good job LG!

I just got the LG 86QNED85AUA, and I have to say — this thing is a beast. I’ve been using it in my main living room, and the 86-inch screen really gives a “movie theater” feel right at home. The picture quality is phenomenal — colors are vibrant, blacks are deep (especially for a bright room like mine with windows and a skylight), and HDR content really pops. I was worried about glare during the day, but the brightness handles it surprisingly well.
Setting it up was straightforward, and webOS is smooth and intuitive. I love that it has Filmmaker Mode, so movies look like they were intended to, and the 120Hz refresh makes fast-moving scenes look silky. Gaming is also great with the VRR support — no noticeable lag or stuttering.
If I had to nitpick, there’s a little blooming around really bright highlights in dark scenes, but honestly, it’s hardly noticeable unless you’re really looking for it. Overall, this TV feels like the perfect balance between size, picture quality, and value. Definitely recommend if you want a huge, high-quality screen without stepping up to the even more expensive 92A series.
