LG refused to honor ANY warranty and wanted to send a technician out AT MY COST to verify the problem. Short answer, they said the television was damaged in shipping with ABC Warehouse and I need to call them. Very bad warranty policy. Disgruntled attorney

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blacked out I barely used this tv and it just blacked out after a year of use conveniently after the mfg warranty expired the tv still has stickers on it as it was barely used. However lg customer service has paid for it to be repaired by a local company… I had to wait 3+ weeks for a “part”.the repair person didn’t use any parts he hook up some sort of box rebooted the tv with it and it came back on. I asked why did they assume he needed a part if this was his first visit that took all of five minutes. He stated they don’t know what they need until they get here. ?? so why would you order parts ?!? And make me wait 3 weeks, Needless to say there was no tip. The tv is decent picture wise but not worth all the hassle.

Yes, in order to experience the full features of this tv you'll have to purchase a new remote for $30 bucks! It does come with a remote but it's a base model remote.

Only thing I am not a fan of is the messages from LG that pops up every time and the stands needing to be replaced. I hung mine on the wall like you should. No way to turn off the messages from LG unless you disconnect the WiFi from the tv. Other than that I love the tv. It’s extremely heavy great picture. Needs a better remote tho.

There are alot of feature I like, the screen is LARGE of course with a crisp clear picture. There are two things that's frustrating. 1. I keep getting a pop up notiofication about the base and how it needs to be properly installed. I have this mounted so it should not apply, but I can't keep this message from popping up. 2. The ESPN app is not yet available on LG TVs and since I stream everything this is not good. I also can't play ESPN on my phone and project to the TV. I was aware of this until after my purchase.

Until now I am happy with the purchase and expect to have good use of it for some years to come. I like the fact that for an 86" TV it doesn't occupy that much space (aside from the viewing side). I like that it is super easy to set up and it doesn't have a lot of parts to assemble. I dislike the fact that this only has 2 HDMI ports and the OS is a bit spotty. Overall I am happy with the purchase and hope to get some good viewing time out of it.

So every few years I would treat myself with an upgrade to help celebrate my accomplishments. This year I decided to go big. I love how it fits perfectly in its spot. I rarely use my soundbar cause the sound is amazing. I'm a huge Denver Broncos fan and watching the games is like being at the stadium in the 1st row. Apps are easy to use, the remote could be a lil bigger for my fat fingers but I think I'll get use to it. I'm very proud of my tv and love to invite friends over to share the experience. The most important thing though, when I look at my tv I feel accomplishment. Cant get no better than that. THANK YOU

My kids love to watch movies, enjoy homemade popcorn at home instead of going to crowded movie theater. When you are watching the TV in the dark and there are dark scenes there are a lot of white spots and you can barely see the picture. Also with the lights off there is alot of light bleed from the edges of the television.

I would recommend buying the separately sold magic remote for it because the remote that comes with it doesn’t have the Alexa and pointer features.

Down side is the app layout, it's not bad took a little getting use to. But it won't stay on home if you let it sit on home, it either opens the last app used or switches to HDMI output.

Setup was pretty easy, but I wish we could have multiple profiles set up. The only other con I really have is that it should have come with the magic remote, AND that the included remote AND the magic remote should be backlit! I use it in our theater and the included remote is impossible to use, all the buttons feel the same. The Magic Remote is much easier to use, but backlighting would be best.

The thing I like least is that this big TV came with a standard remote and not the Magic Remote !!! I was very disappointed since this TV has a built in Alexa !! You have to get into the LG channels to even find it !! The screen is a great size but as i said the picture leaves me disappointed. I thought it would be sharper with more depth with better color. The image is somewhat flat and I have seen other models with a brighter, sharper and more in depth quality.

I wish the remote had a shortcut to Hulu and I thought the remote was very basic unlike Samsungs remote. For the price and screen quality, it’s not a real issue.

I saw this tv on sale and with equality similar specs to what I would usually buy, I had to take a chance. I was not disappointed. The picture is amazing. Movies, nature docs and video game are bright and vivd on the biggest TV I have ever purchased. I don't have cable/satellite but with the wifi, the free LG channels are full of great shows and movies that there is always something to watch. I love my TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DISAPOINTED I bought this TV expecting it to be GREAT, but after paying to have it hung on the wall, it shows VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL lines in the screen. LG is aware of the problem and says they can fix it, but I doubt it, they won't find anyone in my area that would be willing to or have the knowhow to do it. The only option I see is to replace it. LG has all the photos of the screen showing the problem. If LG comes through with a solution, I will update this review.

This TV also has vrr support with AMD Freesync Premium which works best with Xbox Series X. Games that are capped at 30fps feels buttery smooth with vrr where I think it's def pushing above the 30fps cap due to LFC. So happy I bought this and it breathed new life into all my old games as well. My backlog is now ridiculous. Thanks LG!

We have; however, noticed movies in UHD (4K) content are darker than other TV's in our home due to the filters on this one. Can be somewhat annoying at times but other than that we have no complaints at all. We do not use the built in apps so I cannot review any aspect of that function. We prefer other streaming devices. First LG for us and we do not regret the purchase.

Sound quality of TV was good, but needed a sound bar to provide the full experience thankfully TV supports optical and worked great with sound bar I had already. Smart features are pretty standard, but main home page is very easy to navigate. Overall great product and very happy with its results.

When I needed a replacement they were out of this model so I got the 75UQ9000PUB for the same price. I love the TV as the picture and sound are both outstanding.,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Losing tv volume control when using HDMI Can't control volume when TV speakers are turned off and using HDMI. I need to use the volume control with the speakers off to program my cable remote. Otherwise I have to push extra buttons or juggle different remotes.

The picture is outstanding with tons of adjustments to suit my need. I was also pleasantly surprised by how good the sound was on this model.

I watch mainly sports and series and can't tell the difference vs higher end models, so very happy that I went with this one. Also appreciate that the smart TV interface is fast and smooth. Sound quality is good but not like having an external soundbar, it was not a key criteria for me as I use sonos for that.

If you want a beautiful monitor with absolutely zero interaction with any other device, then this is a great tv. I get really mad every time I try to do anything except watch a direct input into this "Monitor"

I have a large sound system, but the wife can simply turn on the TV and listen to the built-in speakers and they sound great.

My family immediately watched "14 Peaks" to showcase the amazing resolution through all the landscape shots. I only wish that it had at least one more HDMI port, but regardless the TV is still amazing.

Seems like the built in streaming is inferior to an HDMI device. I have a Fire stick plugged in and the picture quality on the fire stick as opposed to the Amazon app on the TV is clearly different. I will say that I’m using a WiFi connection as opposed to Ethernet on the TV but I am not sure if that plays a role. A side from that, im very happy with the TV.

The TVs picture is amazing when there is a lot of color on the screen but once the screen is one solid color (predominantly white and gray), you can see NOTICABLE bars. I talked to LG about it and they say that it's not eligible for a screen replacement and it is just made like that. Very disappointed with this tv and am now stuck with it since it has passed the return period.

Well I play the series x and all is can do is play HDR 60.. half of the benefits of a high output gaming system are not being used due to the confusing nature of TV advertising.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No User Guide I picked it because the picture in the store was the best of their 70-inch models. When I got it home, packaging was very good with no damage or missing pieces. However, there was no User's Manual and only minimal instructions for attaching the feet. Nothing about the outlets or their locations or functions. However I was able to figure it out based on experience with a past Westinghouse set. The remote was very basic and, of course, did not come with an instruction sheet to identify the buttons and their uses. Going to the LG website was useless since they didn't offer a manual for that model or that remote, although they did have a manual that listed various voltages and frequencies for the technicians. My wife was able to experiment with the remote enough to get the cable signal and the Roku signal which is what we use. I turned the set off that night and back on the next morning, only to discover that the buttons on the screen for the HDMIs identifying the cable and Roku were now missing. With no troubleshooting help available, I finally took the remote and the TV model number to Best Buy and they identified an obscure button on the remote that would expose the HDMI buttons. This worked as they said. The set itself is great with a very realistic picture and good sound, but I am very disappointed with LG in failing to provide adequate instruction to those of us seniors who are not electronic-savvy enough to get by. If this was a cost reduction for them, it was a very poor choice and should be corrected. There is no reason why a customer should have to do research to get basic information. Maybe that's the way they do it in South Korea, but it doesn't work for me. At the least there should be a printable manual available on the website and an 800-number to call to talk with someone who can speak clearly and with knowledge of the issue. I will remember this the next time I consider an LG product.

The only feedback would be a faster processor on the next iteration as its response is not instantaneous when clicking the remote from time to time. Can’t rate sound since we use a sound bar.

Overall, I’m happy with the picture, but there have been a time or two when I’m streaming a movie or tv show, that it kept buffering and got to a point where we had to stop watching it. My other tvs/devices didn’t have any problems so I’m not sure what to think. I also wish there was better instructions on how to operate.

It took two people to put the stand on and set the unit on a piece of furniture (gotta make sure it's taken care of). The operating system is flashy and speedy. The picture quality is great as well, hope to see it run for a very long time. Size was exactly what I wanted for the intended space. Set up was a breeze and sound quality was so good that I decided not to get a sound bar. Television has several sound options which I sampled on music, web tutorials and movies. All were great and specific to every need. Picture quality was perfect. I have other LG products throughout my home and am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with their performance. I'll never own another brand especially for a washer and dryer. TV easily paired up with ThinQ app and Alexa.

It was very reasonably priced and was expecting the quality to be so so, but I am pleasantly surprised. LG appliances are all over my home and can say I'm happy with all of them. The only downside I noticed was when using a 3rd party dock for my Nintendo Switch, the picture became a pixelated, but it was no issue when using the official Nintendo dock.

We love the home page that has all the streaming apps we use right in front plus the free lg channels are cool too. The picture is nice and crisp. The sound carries well in our living room so I didn’t need a sound system at this time. Maybe in the future hopefully. I’d recommend this tv for anyone who just needs a smaller smart tv for smaller living rooms.

I like old shows that you can’t get with Xfinity. It’s a win win for me. Plus, plus now I am able to stream with the apps now. I canceled my subscription with Xfinity and the TV’s are saving me money.

I'm always pressing the wrong buttons very frustrating, the second is the WEB/OS operating system, very very difficult to learn and navigate.

LG was recommended to us and we have had a good experience with LG in the past . I am a senior citizen and had no difficulty at all setting it up . I did notice a snap when channels change and The remote is bad for pointer function when in web. I got a miracle remote which has a better feel pointing but this 2022 models is not compatible so the TV says. I tried updating software but I have the latest version

I really enjoy the pictures quality and affordable cost I only wish the remote was lighted, as I use this TV in the bedroom and it’s hard to use remote functions with just the light from the TV on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up I originally bought an LG 43 inch TV on August 28th but had to exchange it because the sound kept going out and tech support told me it was just a glitch but I could reboot it by unplugging it and hold in the power button on the bottom for 5 seconds. This did work but I was doing it every couple days to get the sound to come on. I ended up taking it back to Best buy and exchanged it for another unit. The current TV works great and was easy to set up and I have had no problems with it. This is my second LG TV and I bought it because I was so happy with our TV in the family room. I would recommend LG .

I really detest te fact hat the remote does not light up in darkness of my bedroom at night Also the fact that I need 2 remotes since I am unable to talk to the LG remote and can’t remember channel nos. for my fav programs. Picture quality is excellent, size is great for bedroom TV (and for fit in cabinet). . .

I’m picky about the color so it took a little tweaking to get it where I wanted it. Very nice picture. It could use at least one more HDMI input and maybe an S Video input for older devices but I found a work around to make it work. Love that it has Bluetooth for my headphones and it was easy to setup the mirroring from my iPad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I bought this TV because my 14 year old plasma tV finally gave out. I’m not one for buying new just because a new version is Available. Although it’s kind of like getting a new cell phone ( I have to learn how to use it) I am ver happy with all of the options and availability of different apps. One thing I noticed right off was it says it comes with “Alexa” which I was excited about because I had held off buying one and even trying that smart home possibility. The problem is it doesn’t come with the appropriate voice remote to make the Alexa app usable. That’s an additional purchase you must make from a separate vendor and it’s actually kind of difficult to figure out which remote is the correct remote for this TV. All together I really like my TV and maybe someday I’ll even like the Alexa app.

The only drawback is that if you get a little too far off to the side the screen resolution goes away pretty quick. Remote could be a little more user-friendly too.

Says you should have two people to assemble but I didn’t have any issues getting the stand on and setting it up alone. My only issue is how many buttons are on the remote. The remote has so many little buttons so close together that I find myself hitting the wrong ones all the time.

Put a 42" in the bedroom, 32" in the den and a 24" in the kitchen. Between the LG channels, prime, youtube and Netflix who needs cable or satellite!

Easy to set up with cable box and LG sound bar. Picture looks great. Even worked with existing cable box remote without having to reprogram it. Found out that this unit will work with my phone, via LG app, to show pictures right off the phone. Neat feature!

We are very happy with the TC quality, picture, sound, ease of unboxing, etc. The price from Best Buy was also very good (competitive). The issue that we have is the smart TV is quite complicated for us to use. We basically use just the Spectrum TV app and YouTube. We found that the Spectrum TV app is not available to install on the LG smart TV ... Not sure if that is a Spectrum or LG issue. We eventually plugged in our Roku stick into the HDMI1 port and mostly just go to Roku to use the TV. The interface with Roku and the Roku remote are less complicated to use. Our suggestions would be to solve the Spectrum TV problem and make an easier to use smart TV interface. We will admit that we are 72 years old and just do not want to deal with a complicated TV. Thanks.

My biggest disappointment is the remote control; the one included is an older version and not the one represented by the paperwork included with the TV. This is my first LG TV and I bought it because it is a Smart TV and I believed the Remote was a Smart Remote. I sent 2 emails to LG regarding this oversight But have not heard back from their customer service. I am very happy with the picture and sound, but disappointed with the remote.

One that I am enjoying is the automatic volume adjust for when scenes get too loud (fighting, music, etc) it will turn the volume down, and back up when the characters start talking again. I used to sit with the remote in my hand to adjust myself. I will say the main home menu is a little overwhelming and could be condensed down to have not so many features right in your face.

To be fair we do not use any of the features instead we have a media PC connected for Plex and streaming and it works great and looks great. My only issue is the HDMI audio processing plays the music in movies to loud and the speech to low, but this is a problem with most modern TV's I have seen.

I went with LG after years with a Samsung and found that both are quality. I love that LG integrates with Apple products easily. Very nice picture quality, mounting it was easy. If I had to say one thing that I wish desperately that the TV had was extra HDMI inputs. It only has 2 and now days with TV’s coming with 3 or 4 it was helpful and appreciated but other than that I’m loving this TV

This is one of the best 70in TVs you can find on the market currently at an affordable price. When it comes to TVs LG has always been a top choice for me. The overall picture quality of this tv is pretty good for standard 4k. The Tv is the perfect size for having in the living room or bedroom. The internal tv speakers aren’t bad, but only you’ll probably want to pair the tv with a sound bar for better sound quality.

Once I could set it up, turned it on and the screen images were all distorted and it looked like there was a crack. Called my online retailer and they had me pack up the damaged TV and brought another TV the next day. Once it was set up, again, WOW, how great!! Went from an old 27 inch to a 43 inch LG and it has been a wonderful viewing experience. Looking forward to watching the Masters in a larger, colorful, sharper imagery golf match!!! Still learning all the features available, but truly enjoying this purchase!!

I had audio but no picture which was extremely disappointing because I had invested a lot of money on that TV. Since this was going to be an unexpected purchase, I did not want to spend too much money on my new purchase. Two female delivery personnel brought it to my residence and brought it up to my bonus room. My wife said they were very nice. The setup was pretty easy. It will take me some get used to a new remote control, however I don’t understand what all of the complaining is about from some others posting reviews. The picture is pretty awesome. You can see details unlike I could see on my old television. Can’t wait to watch some college and NFL football on it.

I like my Roku remote and I find it impossible to use it with this TV. The instructions for initial setup are not for the non tech person. I also find that the streaming options often interfere with my main TV streaming options. I wouldn't buy again.

But the remote and the steps to get to places on the TV are very cumbersome compared to other TVs we have. Way too may steps just to get to a sleep timer. sometimes too much is not as good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Warranty service I bought this TV about seven months ago and for whatever reason the screen stopped working don’t know if it was a power surge for one but I contacted LG and they sent a representative right away and did a repair on my TV now it’s working great again. Great customer service would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value but interface could use work We bought this TV to replace a 55" screen that was too large for our current living room. The price was reasonable. It needed some tweaking when we first got it. The default picture settings made everything look too sharp to the point where it felt uncanny. I like the AI audio though. It's useful when the spoken dialogue is much quieter than the rest of the movie/show. The basic remote that comes with the set lags badly. I installed the LG app on my phone, and that seems a little more responsive. Overall, it's a great price for a modest size picture, but it needs some customization to really shine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible remote I have only purchased LG tv’s for decades. So when I needed another, I thought this tv was perfect for my needs. I’ve had smart tv’s since they first came out. Never a problem. This one however is almost not good. And the remote is horrible—the most commonly used buttons are 3/4 down the remote making it very awkward to press the buttons, they are way too close to each other and I continually end up pressing the wrong one. The tv itself is extremely convoluted to get from one feature to another. I have to pay strict attention to the remote, the buttons, and maneuvering on screen. I read reviews before I purchased that say exactly what I’ve just reported; I should have not purchased this tv.

In regards to the picture, it took quite a while to adjust it to my liking. Initially, the picture was way too heavy in black. Lastly, the basic LG remote this comes with is useless.

How ever, I looked in to buying the magic remote from LG and they s aid they did not have any record of the serial number or model. That seems wierd to me. I did do more research but did not find any more info.LG makes great products but their customer service is very, very bad.

My 2017 LG stopped hooking up to wifi AND I found out that I could fix it by removing the back and uncrimping the wifi wires. But, I hope that doesn't happen with thIs tv. My nephew was very happy to "inherit" my old 60" LG(now that wifi works.)

Fast forward 17 year and that is still true today plus even more TV’s! On Christmas my TV stopped working and I needed a new TV. It was a new brainer so I went to BJ’s got my new 4k 42” LG Smart Tv and have been using it everyday since. It’s absolutely amazing from all the apps, to clearest picture ever, and almost no lag it’s exactly what I was looking for. If your looking for a new TV LG is the way to go.

It’s been in repair for the entire first 3 weeks we’ve owned it and is still out for repair as the defective board blew out the screen as well.

I love the blue tooth! My now wireless sound system sounds great. The apps and great so I don't even need to use my roku. Plus the tv is able to get 100’s of internet channels for free too. Love it so far!

I guess I will have to replace my antenna. I wish my old TV was still working! I also got hung up in the process to get Pluto and my attempts to get it were unsuccessful. The instructions on the use of the remote are inadequate. The picture is much better on the station I can still get but that doesn’t make up for all the problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly clear and detailed images I have been using this 43" 4K UHDTV now for a month. I watch streaming videos, play PS4 games, and use it form my computer's monitor. Everything is photo quality. Text is like a magazine's print, no jaggies at any zoom level. PS4 looks like it's real, not animation. The AI take older TV shows and make them look like they're being broadcast in 4K. Football games look very good, unless they're pre-2000s analog TV – and there's nothing that's going to make them look any better. I haven't seen any blurring of fast-moving objects. I am so glad I bought this TV. It was well worth what I paid on sale at Target. However, I am unable to download the 'apps' for Pluto TV or any other streaming sites. I have the sound routed to a 4-speaker w/sub-woofer system which is much better than the 'OK' sound of the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi reception This tv was a gift for me. Been using this for just over 30 days. The WiFi connection is very poor. Every other day I have to reset it. I have not had any problems with the previous tv in the same location. Nor the WiFi connection for my phone or laptop in the same area. I live in a home that is less than 800 sqft and WiFi signal is great within the home. If I would have bought this tv I would be returning to get a replacement of a non smart tv and go back to using a Roku device. I could use an Ethernet cord to plug in but this creates a trip hazard by running a 50 foot cord from living room to bedroom/office space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture great, software and remote not so great Have had this for a few weeks. The picture is great and the sound from the TV speakers is pretty good. The remote design is not good and cheap. In this day and age of streaming the numbers are not as important as the play, pause, fast forward and fast rewind buttons. In fact I do not use the more accessible and larger number buttons. This remote has the larger numbers at the top of the remote and the really small most used buttons at the bottom. You cannot even hold the remote with one hand and use those lower buttons. I swapped the remote for a universal one that I had lying around. The web os software programming is not real good either. Even with the settings set to return to home screen, the TV when first turned on will switch to the first live LG channel on the list after a 2 minute timer times out. Very annoying. If you switch that setting to not go to the home screen on start up, it will go the first live LG channel available not to where you last left off.

The sound and color are far better than our previous model of another brand. The only thing we are not so crazy about is the remote. There are a lot of buttons and they are very small and hard to see during evening hours. It would be nice if they were differentiated a little by color or size so it would be easier to utilize/

I replaced my previous LG 70", that was about 9 years old, with 75UQ7590PUB, there is quite a noticeable difference. I use it with a home theater set-up so I haven't taken advantage of all the features of the TV, but it seems to have a lot. The only negative was setting it up with my external home theater system. It took some time but now that it's all set up it's great.

It does only have two HDMI inputs (which isn't a problem for us), and uses the LG smart TV software and not the Google or Amazon, but that's also zero problem. The interface is very simple and easy to use, setup was a snap, and the picture quality is outstanding. We replaced a 12-year-old 55" television (which had been fantastic) with this 75" beast and don't regret it at all. This was very much "Money well spent" as part of our upgrades. I would highly recommend this television to anyone on a budget looking for a very solid upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my big LG TV! I bought the LG TV sometime last year, and when we have celebrations at home, the TV is the talk of the living room! Everyone who sees it compliments the enormous size of it, and when I tell them the price, they want to get one too! I love how the TV is the eye-catcher and center of the room, making movie night for friends and family so immersive. You enjoy every detail and feel like you are in the movie. The sound is excellent and goes up high, but still clear. However, I did get an LG Soundbar and subwoofer to make the movies much more immersive. The picture quality is supreme for the amount I paid for this TV. The only minor issue is the backlight or when the TV shows a black scene, and you see it bright or gray and pixelated. Again, it's not too bad of an issue since the price and size are there. Comparing the TV's software and features to others, it is definitely a winner. We switched all our other TVs over to LG because on others, even the well-known brands, I would get internet disconnection issues, lag, and not a lot of availability for apps. The LG TV software is clean and sleek. I appreciate it being updated all the time to make it more pleasing to the eyes, and the wallpapers are nice. To sum it up, if you are looking for an affordable, great quality, big-sized TV, go with LG and get this one! I definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Picture in HD and 4K I own and have owned several LG TVs and have always been happy with the brand. I replaced my previous LG 70", that was about 9 years old, with 75UQ7590PUB, there is quite a noticeable difference. I use it with a home theater set-up so I haven't taken advantage of all the features of the TV, but it seems to have a lot. The only negative was setting it up with my external home theater system. It took some time but now that it's all set up it's great.

True, I've only had it about six weeks, but so far it has been outstanding. Color is crisp and clear and 75" is the best ever. I would recommend this model to anyone who's looking for an excellent TV at a reasonable price.

The screen is super smooth with 120fps refresh rate, it has two 4k hdmi inputs along with a third regular 1080p hdmi input. It has game optimization, color and sound adjustments, smart tv apps, and the sound is surprisingly loud and clear. I would highly recommend picking one up!

Unfortunately, we found it no better than the TV it replaced. It is however a larger frame which we also wanted. It has a multitude of wireless interconnectivity which we don't use as this TV placement is primarily to watch AM & PM newscasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for use as a computer monitor This is the primary monitor on my PC, and it has been superb in that role. Huge screen of course (it replaced a 32" device from a different mfr), very high resolution, fast enough response to keep up with cursor movements, etc. I also play background music through it - and it's more that adequate for that purpose - the speakers don't sound "tinny" at all and the volume is high enough. I have it connected via HDMI to the HDMI port of my dock - that turns out to be critical because I first connected it to a DP (Display Port) connector via a DP-HDMI cable, and that configuration supported only a very low resolution (barely HD), cut off a bunch of pixels from all 4 edges, etc. Now I'm getting 3840x2160 and can see all of those pixels. So if the display is disappointing you, make sure you're driving the connection from a device that can support the full resolution you're aiming for. As a monitor, I'd rather not use the remote (after the initial setup) - and the single control button - holding it in for about 2 seconds will turn the unit on at the beginning of my work session, and holding it in for about 3 seconds will turn it off reliably. A shorter interval will put you into the menu, and the single button allows reasonable navigation through the menus. If you want to do something subtle in the menus, put the batteries back in the remote and give yourself more buttons to work with - but mine is staying in the desk drawer. I'm using the provided stand (as opposed to a wall mount) and it is more than adequate to the purpose.

Obviously LG is aware of this horrible remote control with. It’s 100 miniature little buttons so close together an adult can’t hardly hit one single button at a time without pushing the one above it and below it and to the left and right all at the same time that is why they offer the optional additional purchase magic remote, which I must say is a huge improvement over the one that comes with the television I just think for the premium price you pay for the LG product It should already come with a good remote control. You should not have to buy another Additional remote to be able to use it correctly

From the kitchen, we can clearly see the action and hear the sound; I've never needed to turn the speakers above 50 even with cooking noises in the background, and at that level the sound is clear. From the living area it's like being in a theater; massive picture, clear audio with no need for a sound bar. The set up came with a standard remote that works fine, and it can pair with a Magic remote for an on-screen pointer. Another thing I and my son like is the ability to play Fortnight directly through Nvidia's GeForce Now, you've just gotta try it.

The color contrast creates a more enjoyable experience, specially for video games. It also has a gaming mode and a reasonable price range. There is also no “bleeding” or discernible faded corners when dark backgrounds appear.

One comment; having multiple LG TV's I have the ability to compare remotes between each unit. The remote with the TV I am reviewing does not mirror the other LG remotes I have so it has been difficult to 're-learn'. Other than that one minor thing, love it!

I also use it with my new xbox series x even though it's only 60hz refreshing it works very well. The only thing I can see that someone might have issues with is that it only has 2 hdmi ports. The only flaw is an X shaped figure that appears on at the top of the screen. I originally thought it was a piece of packing tape or fingerprints, but it's not anything on the screen. I appears to be something internally. It's a little distracting, depending on whether the screen display is bright. It disappears when the action is in shadows or in subdued light. It would be a hassle to bring the TV back and replace it, so I've learned to live with it. Otherwise, it's a very nice TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is my third LV game tv. I would not buy any other brand. My only complaint is that they no longer use a pedestal for the stand. Instead they use two stands; one on each end of the tv. This limits the size of the tv stand you can use. However, it’s an excellent tv with a great, clear picture and sound. Highly recommended.

It's the perfect size for their room, has all of the apps they need to watch a broad variety of streaming services, and has a much better picture and many more features than the 43 inch Toshiba unit we have in our bedroom. We went with this because we purchased a 65 inch LG for our living room during the pandemic and loved the ease of use and readily available features LG provides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 42" LG TV We bought this LG TV 5 months ago for our guest bedroom, so we didn't watch it as much. It had great picture & color & we were happy with our purchase. It then started to turn itself off & the back on again repeatedly. We contacted LG and we went through a 1 1/2 hrs check list & then referred to a repair man who came to our home & replaced the appropriate boards inside & it works perfect now. LG was quick to fix this issue & we are happy with our TV.

I set it up to stream on a Roku stick on HDMI #1 port and sound bar HDMI (ARC) #2 . Note: You will need to go to setting so port #1 starts when unit is turned on. Otherwise it will default to LG WO system. So far No issues!

Have to have a repair company come out and replace the Wifi board. Should have been able to bring it back and exchange it. Now I have to take time off of work for a 3 hour window on a work day.

But it would be nice if setup was more straight forward. I am in my mid 60’s but still fairly savvy. I stream on it, every time I turn it on it takes 5-10 minutes to get where I want. Seems LG wants to tell me to stream LG. I miss the days of simply turning on the TV

I would suggest adding the LG sound bar and surround sound system for an enhanced all around theatre affect in your room. Note: 55” was moved to a bedroom. We have been buying LG TV’s for several years with one in each bedroom b/c we have never had an issue with our LG product.

In addition WebOs on the LG I bought does not support my ISP's TV app so I hooked up my trusty Roku and gave up on the native streaming technology built into the TV.

My previous TV had the usual Android OS that most TV's have so getting use to this Web-OS TV takes a little getting used to. But it is more spontaneous to the remote commands. I look forward to many years of visual enjoyment with this TV. The only improvement that I would suggest is to add 1 more HDMI input.

It's difficult to manage, and moves all over the screen. I turned it off by unregistering the remote, but it keeps coming back.

Not to worry I went into the bedroom were the the new LG 55 inch WEB OS Smart Flat Screen was and watched the game. Sunday I went to Best But looking for a new LG Flat Screen. They had a sale on this 43 inch and I was happy and bought it. Now that it's home I wish I had bought the LG 50 inch that was on sale. But I am very happy with my 43 inch flat screen!

Right side both fittings started hand tight butafter1/4 inch had to use force to continue .in order to stop unit from falling I Positionedmein front. Oftheunit to stop it . Had to push very very hard and screen cracked , did ot realize until Iturnedthe unit on after bolt install . I have several LG appliances and neverhadaproblem , actually purchased same unit at another store and it’s fine . When I tried to interchangebolts on broken unit same result fitting in unit to receive mounting bolts no good . I submittted forwarrenty repair . Problem was poor workmanship on bolt receiver fittings

I don’t think the iOS Web is as user friendly as some of the other platforms I’ve used. It also doesn’t have as many apps to include as Roku. All in all, for the price, it’s an ok TV.

The remote control is too cramped and it’s not easy to navigate in low light settings.Too many buttons in close proximity of each other makes it very easy to press the wrong button. The WebOs is complicated and hard to navigate and it often lags when trying to scroll through the different channel options even with 5g internet connections. There’s only two hdmi ports and switching between them is more complicated than it needs to be. I bought the LG brand because I had previously owned an LG plasma screen tv and it worked great for years. I thought, how bad could WebOs be? Had I known it was this bad I never would have purchased it.

The TV will occasionally buffer but I will have to remedy the problem with a WiFi extender. Otherwise, I am happy with the TV. This is my second LG TV. The other one is upstairs and works well. We have owned it for two years.

It’s hard to find how to use the remote. There is a lot of trial and error. There is some directions for the basics on the remote but the remote has many different features using the numbers but it’s hard to find the info. I love that I don’t need a cable box or anything else to access my cable stations or apps. I do it just by streaming.

The remote is extremely over engineered garbage that doesn’t work worth a spit. I would never waste my money on any LG tv after having this example horrendous debacle. The extended channels are also trash. The shows are not edited for family viewing, all the foul mouthed, nudity, bloody horror and evil themes are all left in. There is no parent warning or tv ratings. Despicable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture I already have a 65" LG UHD TV and we love it. SO when we needed a new TV for our bedroom, we decided to go with the LG 43" UHD TV. The picture is fantasic. It is crisp and clear and the colors are fabulous. It is thin, lightweight, and fits perfectly on our TV stand. Why did we give 4 stars and not 5? webOS is painfully slow. Even on our 65" LG TV, webOS is just unusable, and that is so unfortunate as it is complete and built into the TV. It would cover our needs completely if it was just faster. But, as it may be, we have to use streaming devices as they are much faster. All in all, the TV is really nice and it offers a great picture. We think it is a terrific value for the price and we give it 4 stars.

I bought this for my son’s 14th birthday and had everything set up in about a half hour. I loved it so much I watched my favorite show on it for about an hour. Needless to say he was happily surprised when he got home from school and discovered it in his room. He loves it and I still use it when I can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great 43" UHD TV My mancave tv is a 50" LG 1080 with a 7.1 setup. We mainly watch tv upstairs and got this 4K 43" UHD to enjoy UHD content on Netflix & U-tube. The picture is great and it really shines when watching 8K and above. Not giving 5 stars as connecting hdmi's is a bit difficult and if you turn the tv side to side the and have an optical connection the weight of the cable will damage the connector.

Obviously not as pristine as the OLED line, but the colors, resolution, brightness and contrast still have content looking great on this set. I recommend it for smaller spaces. Have only used it for streaming so far. I have a separate streaming box, but the built in apps work well enough. Sound is adequate for smaller spaces, but could hook up to external speakers if you want surround or extra bass.

Don't really know about the sound, use my Apple HomePods for the audio. Loved on it connected with my Apple 4K TV, turns ON and OFF with the Apple TV remote unlike the one it replaced.

Turned the TV off and back on and it worked fine for another 10 minutes then went blank again. Had perfect sound but absolutely no picture. After contacting support almost 3 weeks ago I have yet to have the TV serviced and my request has been cancelled once already. Sad to say not very impressed with LG’s quality and service so far. Very disappointing.

One thing I tried doing directly from Windows 11, is seeing how much I could push it. This TV can do anywhere from 23.9 Hertz to 74 Hertz. Don't go above or below that, it'll make the TV glitch. Amazing for a budget TV. I'm currently not switching to anything else, this is amazing.

Fortunately, I had a Roku stick laying around and after an hour or more trying to get through LGs set up process, spent about 15 minutes setting up Roku. I know that getting as much info about people and then selling it is what drives LG and others, it would be nice just to be able to plug something in and turn it on.

The remote is non-responsive and the buttons are all the same size and color so it’s difficult to use without looking at it. The picture is disappointing too. The screen is very dim, and the vivid picture mode only makes the brights brighter. Also, it only has 2 HDMIs and no headphone or other ports so I can’t connect my own audio and older game systems. It looks and feel like a crappy hotel room TV and I’ll be returning asap.

Customer service was absolutely horrible and for me that’s bad because I was in the customer service business for 30 years! My advice is do not buy the TV or the remote control it’s not worth the agony and pain you’re gonna go through dealing with these people! It’s beyond me how they stay in business!

However, it is a smart TV, but although my internet is working fine in the other rooms, this LG TV will not allow me to load Amazon Prime due to non-availability of the licensing agreement. Each time I attempt to load it, it says there's a problem, try again later - it's been a month and numerous, numerous attempts. P.S. The smart function is why we upgraded to the smart TV in the bedroom, so this purchase so far has been for naught.

It fits the space well, has a fantastic screen, and has access to all of the apps and streaming options you could think of. However: I’m unable to consistently connect any device to stream wirelessly, and turning the Bluetooth on and off is problematic at best. Does the tv work? Yep. Can I watch using its internal apps? Yep. Is the response time on the OS slow as heck? Yep. But it works and it was cheap.

Customer service was horrific I got transferred a ton of times? After three days and very aggravated I finally got a hold of somebody but unfortunately they still cannot help me? The TV is fine but nowadays the voice remotes should be easy to connect to your TV and this by no means is it easy and I still don’t have a remote with voice control?!

Customer service was very good , when I complained I was not comfortable with the stability of the TV, I was sent another set of legs to try and see if that would help my issue. As I later found out the other brands have the same set up, as compared to my old TV which had a much stronger and stable base. My other complaint was the connection to my cable box causes me to use two remotes. The LG model did not have a sound port, so I have to change channels and get information using the cable remote and use the LG remote to adjust the sound. Again customer service at LG had a solution for me to purchase a Universal Remote and the name of the supplier were given. If the remote problem is a common complaint then I believe LG should include a Universal Remote rather than the one supplied.

Then interrupts you during operation with advertising. The menus are extremely slow while using. Press a button wait literally 2 seconds for a response. I will never buy an LG tv again

However, when I try to use the antenna output it is also an LG network of channels so it doesn’t allow me watch through an antemna which means that I won’t get any football games that come on fox sports. There is no cable in my area so I stream everything and am dependent on that port to be free for a antenna. Says it is but just the LG channels come up on two different ports might be a defect?

Two small concerns that are personal to us, unfortunately this LG TV does not allow us to download the Spectrum TV App which we miss. Also we are having a very hard time locating the Magic Remote for this model. We would love to use one for our new purchase but can not find a compatible model of remote

My only complaint is the Picture in Picture only gives option for live TV and one app.; would like to have PIP for any two screens e.g. live, app, and other pay services available on my TV.

I had to set it on the floor till the base I bought on amazon came. the legs are to spread out to fit on anything I owned. You will need two people to lift it. The specs say its 110 bl. but it is too large to hold up by yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In my opinion mediocre quality of television TV does not hold true colors when viewing from side angles. The colors fade and image becomes too bright. Also the color does not stay consistent in that sometimes the color fades in and out a little bit when view straight on.

I paid for delivery, installation and set up and bought a 5 year warranty and it hasn't worked right since that day. I called the installers and asked them about sincing the TV with my Dish controller and they told me to call Dish??? I spent over $400 for installing the TV, LG sound bar and wall mount. I'm very disappointed! I have to use all 3 controllers to get it to work.

The frame was separating from the screen and the network interface couldn't find the router even when placing the router right next to the tv. Bought a different brand which is working great. I'm having similar network connectivity problems with the high end LG tv I bought. I own 6 tv's at 2 houses and only have this trouble with the LG's. Also, the LG washer I recently purchased is having a host of issues. Your technical support kept sending me back to the beginning of your automated system to which I assume is a tactic to get rid of us. I gave up after 45 minutes of that. I've probably spent over $4,500.00 on LG products in the last few years. I have bought my last LG product.

The face of the remote is not lighted. Very hard to use in dim light conditions. Icons on the remote are confusing and can mislead the user... Not what I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Log In required to use a FREE service? Ridiculous! Too many steps to get to use Pluto TV. It is supposed to be free on an LG TV, but it is so difficult to log in on the TV. I have tried many times, with NO success. I should not be forced to log in on this TV for ANY reason. It is my TV. There is no simple way to log in. A keyboard that I am forced to navigate to enter my information? This should not be necessary.

Let me say I love so much about this TV it may not fir all in here. So here are the basics which I feel are important. The processor moves super fast through the apps. It has Alexa built into it. The picture is superb. The size of the screen is unbelievable. If you can find this model you definitely won't be disappointed.

I do wish that the close caption option, was available on the mute setting only. If you set the close caption option, it appears whether it's mute or not. I find it annoying while there is sound. The only other comment is, there have been a couple of instances, where the audio and video from one station, did not change when you changed stations and one time, the picture flashed rapid and the other night, the audio and video, completely blacked out, with a dark blue haze. After about five minutes, it corrected itself. Turning it off then on, did not correct it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent movie quality with decent gaming options! This TV UQ7590 is an amazing budget TV. It has filmmaker mode which makes movies look so good. For sports, quick movements do not appear washed out or blurry and it is easy to stay in focus. Since it is such a large TV 75 inch, sitting the correct distance of about 11 feet away is great. For Gaming, it has Game mode where it can go up to 120 FPS, gaming on the Xbox looks great even for first person shooters. For less than $700, the value is worth so much more!

The install tech did initial power on, the left of the screen has a very noticeable darkness starting from the center of the screen all the way left. You can easily see round white dots within the dark shadow. Install tech made the call to the store where I bought it from, it’s supposed to be replaced. LG, if you do read these reviews then please understand it’s very frustrating to spend $1000 only to receive a defective product.
