Remote response on tv failed after 7 months. 4 tedious support chats, 3 more remotes and 2 months later I found a facorry reset which fixed the issue. No thanks to LG support

It’s like a computer in some ways. The only thing I wish was different is the sound. Good thing I already had a LG sound bar. A must if you purchase this particular device.

The outside camera edges of the display screen are hidden behind the boarder of the TV screen. Is there a way this can be adjusted? On my 24" monitor the display window fits edge to edge. Great for an entry level TV. APPs via WiFi work well. I would recommend this TV.

It sits on my dresser and as it is so thin, it does not take up the whole top of the dresser. The remote is easy to use and adding the apps was quick to set up.

It seemed to be the power circuit as it wouldn't turn off so I was forced to unplug it. Then it wouldn't turn back on. Of course the warranty is only a year so naturally I'd be out several hundred dollars for a repair. I was an avid LG TV fan until this. Sure $400 isn't a lot for a TV these days, but that's expensive to only last one year and not be supported. Especially from a company like LG.

Through a VERY frustrating process of trial and error through dozens of youtube videos, I finally discovered the only way to connect the TV to the internet was to create a hotspot on my phone first. Totally nuts.

I found the User's information lacking in clear operating procedures and how to use the controls for the TV. Some of the user settings are very difficult to find information concerning the settings. It would appear that the instructions are intended for Asian users. I did try going to the website for a more complete manual only to discover that the users manual was exactly the same as the printed users manual was exactly the same as the included manual; poorly written and incomplete ! Therefore I would caution U.S. buyers to inquire about the instructions prior to purchasing this TV. Otherwise, I am pleased with the TV.

Only issue is the "pointer" which can be difficult to zero in on what you are looking to launch Prefer the standard click through. Never read the directions so don't know if it can be disabled. Set up was easy - contemplating a sound bar next.

The sound is good but could benefit by a sounds bar. TV' companies should provide a longer power cord or an extension cord for wall mounting. I am very glad I purchased the LG product

My family in Australia have purchased several LG products and have always been pleased with the performance, whether kitchen, laundry or entertainment products. So an LG was an easy choice for me, especially when I found out that LG makes the components for several other tv brands. A concern is the size of the remote. The size is halfway between a firestick/roku remote and a regular universal remote. Buttons are tiny. Therefore anyone with eyesight problems, finger manipulation, or just large hands has a problem.

Also the channel changer is very cumbersome…the Netflix, Prime Video, Disney, LG,sling, Alexa buttons should be at the top…because they are not used as much! The regular antenna navigator buttons should be in the area that get used all the time! The BIGGEST PROBLEM!!!…the white paint used to identify the buttons is almost completely rubbed off!…and I have only used the tv channel changer for two months!….i will not purchase another tv from you again unless I can see and use it before purchase.

I only had this tv for a little while it’s been working for me really great, I didn’t know when I leave my tv alone it will go to the screensaver & show the date & time & the weather & I can control my Xfinity cable with it by changing the channel & on the guide list my xfinity channels come up & my soundbar volume too & I really like it & I hope it will last me forever!!!! I like the fact I can go on the internet with the web browser & I like the LG Channels & I hope they will add more LG Channels to the lineup!!!!

The picture quality is BEYOND AMAZING and the sound is GREAT because this TV allows you to use BOTH your soundbar AND the TV sound simultaneously! This feature adds so much to the quality of the sound experience that I didn't even know I needed and now can't do without!!! The game mode of the TV switches automatically on when it detects a game console on an input and DRASTICALLY enhances the quality of the gaming graphics! It is UNREAL!!! Also, the frame smoothing feature is out of this world! It smoothes the changes from frame to frame and allows for super smooth and seamless frame transitions in regular TV mode AND in the game mode too! The remote is one of the coolest and most feature-filled remotes that I have EVER used! I am in LOVE with the shake the remote for a "mouse-pointer" mode and use it all the time now! My ABSOLUTE favorite feature is the Home Office/Remote PC mode under the Home menu! I bought a wireless TV keyboard JUST for this feature when I saw it and am now able to use the TV as a monitor without my computer having to be attached to it and can "work from home" without having to get out of my recliner now! It is nothing short of AMAZING!!! LG has packed so many features and upgrades into such a thin and attractive package! They have shown and shown out with this model TV!!!

I did have to customize the saturation and clarity settings as default factory settings aren't good which was a bit annoying - but the process was pretty straightforward. Love that it had webos, wish it was a bit more efficient - load times were slow even being on a fiberoptic line - definitely an area for improvement. An additional preference for LG to consider is to add 2 more additional titan tv legs for a total of 4 tv stand legs - kind of feels like it could use it for stabilization.

I haven't spent much time looking over all the features but I like what I see so far. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is I'm a little disappointed in the sound from the tv speakers. I might connect a soundbar eventually but I have 2 other tvs in my house that sound better through the regular speakers so I was expecting more out of the sound on this tv.

Easy to operate, lots of features and interfaces, good user interface, options for all levels of user tech capability. The sound is feeble, but I have a Bose sound bar, so no issues there.

I rated 4 instead of 5 due to the blotchiness of solid color screens and bleeding from white areas on these screens, I do realize that this is mostly due to the technology and not any fault of the TV itself

When I spoke to your person for help, she did a good job of guiding me, but your "teardrop" instead of arrow is absolutely terrible to control. Why not an arrow?????? Also volume goes from too low to too high. Difficult to find something inbetween. On a particular channel, the music overwhelms the voices.

A con of this tv is its only 60hz (refresh rate) otherwise it's beautiful. Only actual issue I've had is lately I'll have random moments when I'm watching TV, or streaming something from Netflix, Hulu, paramount +, etc or playing my ps5 and the screen will go pitch black. No sound and no video. I turn the TV off and turn it back on and it works fine again. Also had a minor issue with the remote where the cursor stopped working somehow. Contacted LG and they went through troubleshooting process with no luck so they had a new remote sent to me free of charge! (Arrived yesterday) Its working flawlessly so far! Unfortunately if the screen keeps going black I'll have to call the warranty folks and see what we can do.

Returned and salesman said that’s an ongoing problem. He suggested an upgrade so I went that route. The new tv does the same thing. WiFi sucks on LG TVs. Researching this seems to be a common issue with lg TVs.

When I was at the store display of 55" tv's one stood out for picture quality above all of them , yes this one. The picture is superb for a 55" and I wasn't looking for a game tv or extras I wanted a excellent picture. This LG does have extras like the magic remote which I still am undecided about but the picture quality wins hands down.

That said, the cursor thing that wants to float all over the place when you add an app or change a setting is the worst of the worst. Furthermore, the tv forgets the password to my wifi account so we have to enter it every time we turn on the tv. I just reset the tv to the factory settings and am hoping it will fix the issue but who knows. I think this is an example of trying to make a tv smarter than it needs to be. Let me turn the thing on and load the aps I want and watch tv.

So I want to turn on the tv and have it go directly to HDMI1 where DISH is located the way my 3 year old LG does. I even have to use the LG remote to click on DISH, therefore needing 2 remotes as everything else is paired. Luckily DISH technicians guided me to a way around needing 2 remotes, but I still have to follow several steps. In addition, the legs are so far apart that my expensive tv stand that held my former 43” tv, is too small.

Stupid little cursor flying around the screen when I’m simply trying to select a particular item. Really annoying and I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to it.

Initially, I thought the picture was not as clear as I would have expected. After we adjusted a few controls, it is now crystal clear. We have had an LG in the past and were very happy with it, but this has surpassed our expectations. Also love the mouse capability on the remote Very user friendly.

Tech guy could not hook it up to my existing sound system so I purchased an LG sound bar with a subwoofer. A tech guy is coming to install it this week!!! Hopefully this will work

Our biggest concern is LG loaded all the apps we love to watch except for Paramount+ . I attemped to load the Paramount+ app to no avail. Impossible to load. I even called customer service. Had them on the line for one hour and 15 minutes. They tried everything to load the Paramount App. No success. LC needed to load the Paramount+ at the factory like all others.

From the beginning it had a light coming from the top of the screen into the picture noticeable when the screen has dark scenes. I called LG and instead of sending me a new TV they sent someone to repair it who replaced the screen and the problem was still there (I am sure it cost more to try to repair it than it would have to just send me a new TV). Now trying to get my money back. LG service has been very frustrating. I would not buy an LG again.

All working just fine. The size is perfect for us. Thin and light enough to hang on the wall. But sturdy and well made. Good sounding but also can add a sound bar is wanted. So the versatility with it's options is great for anyone. I would recommend.

Have contacted customer service and was told someone would be coming out to our house to work on it the next day. No one showed so I called the number they gave me and they said they were not repair people but a locator service and that they had found someone to work on it and they would be contacting us in a few days. Then I got a message from LG saying no one could be located in our area to work on the tv and to send them pictures of the tv as well as proof of purchase. We did that and haven’t heard anything since. A 3 year warranty was purchased for this tv and yet here we are with no tv service and no more contact from customer service. Would never recommend a product from them.

The features are amazing, the remote has easy access to apps and it can control my Xbox system in-apps as well which is useful when I’m recharging my Xbox controller. I use the You Tube app the most for my dog because he has separation anxiety and there are some great music and calming videos for him! I also leave these videos on when I am home and busy. The picture and sound are excellent. I cannot see as well as I once could so this large screen is amazing in my small space! I also like the fact that I can navigate easily with the remote. My favorite programs for me are on Pureflix and I can get to that easily. I am 71 and do not like to go through numerous steps for anything so this is a good thing!!!

Geek squad said it is under manufactures warrantee and that LG would have to repair it. Geek squad did come out two Sundays after iit stopped working, he said it is not getting power. He tried a new cord but got no response. I was told LG would be calling me to set up a day and time for repair. That was 5 weeks ago. I got 1 phone from your repair man he left a number and nothing else. We have contacted him, left messages, 18 TIMES no responce of any kind. Its going on 2 months and the TV still is not working. This is nothing short of a TOTAL FAILURE on your part. I would like an answer as to why we are being mistreated like thia? We have purchased many things through Best Buy but NEVER been so badly treated, By now you should replace the unit. Even if he were to come tomorrow it would profanely take a few dates to get the part in and then how many MONTHS till they bothered to fix it?

I had not purchased a television in several years and was amazed at the number of features that were available. Particularly, the LG Channels. I found several programs I hadn't been able to find on streaming apps. Additionally, I did not have to read a manual to start enjoying my television. I turned on the TV, picked up the remote, followed the onscreen setup instructions, and began exploring all the new features.

Simply put, it is not user friendly. The design and layout features are all wrong. The shape of the remote makes it difficult to point towards the TV when you’re holding it (the thinner front slopes downward and is at the wrong angle; making it uncomfortable to hold and point). Because of this poor design, I feel that the TV doesn’t always recognize the remote, therefore, causing a serious delay in response time. Had I been able to hold and try out the remote along with the TV while it was on display, I don’t think I would’ve purchased this model (yes, it is that annoying).

After talking with the sales clerk, I went with the LG. Very glad I did. The picture is very clear and beautiful and the sound is amazing.

When watching cable or apps like Netflix or Amazon Prime the picture quality is not as good as my old TV. The picture is not as sharp or lifelike. When watching 4K the picture is good but not great. The sound is tinny.

The streaming content looks awesome. Even the standard definition channels I watch look better. The free LG channels are a bonus. Sound is good. There's plenty of options to select from to get the sound I like. The Magic Remote is OK once I got used to it. The older remotes from other LG TV's work with this TV, so I use the older remotes and the Magic Remote.
