Short Warranty, Unhelpful Support, Hardware Defect
Panel started flickering exactly two weeks after the extremely ungenerous 1 year warranty expired and they have given me the rudest, most blatent and purposefully unhelpful support I've ever received from a company. Said they would open a case to review and never did, even after reaching out two more times asking. This was my third LG OLED added to my house since 2017, and I've never had any issues until the 2024 model. Extremely disappointed in their product lifespan and support these days. Guess it was the last one I'm buying from them.

Beware LG TVs
I bought the C3 6 months ago after owning the CX for 4 years. A few days ago my CX failed after only light to moderate use since I bought it. Sometimes I wouldn’t use it for weeks. I was extremely careful to avoid any burn in and ironically the panel is in perfect condition, but it’s the internal components you need to be worried about. The power supply board or possibly the main board failed after having the CX on for a few hours the other night. After doing some research, I’ve noticed many other complaints about faulty power supplies starting about a year ago. The customer response team has been entirely inadequate. Apparently the CX only had a 2 year warranty and they only direct me to their OOW repair team where I’d need to spend over $500 to fix a $1500 TV. Now I’m worried the $2500 C3 I purchased will fail in the same way and obviously I wouldn’t have purchased it if I knew this was the way they treat loyal customers. The C3 provides a great picture and I only hope the internal components don’t end up being the same shoddy quality as the CX.

This is my second oled from lg. the first one I got was a gen 2. Didn’t work right out of the box so repair man had to replace the motherboard, power supply and screen. After a few years the colors became green on it so got the 77 inch updated one. The preset video settings are as bad as the original model I had (sports mode, vivid etc..) - you would think they would have updated them after all these years. Tv is ok, brighter than the version that I had but not much better

Among the best of oleds
This is my fourth LG OLED television. I have never been disappointed with any of them. Our first one lasted 8 years before a minor burn in so I gave it to a friend and upgraded to two new ones. This one that I currently just bought is an upgrade yet again to a much larger size a 77 inch which I must say I do not regret at all having a screen of this size especially in OLED is a game changer my wife was skeptical until we watched a movie on it it feels like I'm in a theater almost especially when combined with our soundbar. And playing my PS5 on it is awesome as well

The Best Money Can Buy
I replaced my C1 with the C3 knowing full well it had big shoes to fill. My C1 checked all the boxes but I after seeing the C3 in person I had to buy one. And I am so glad I did. From it's slim design to its Picture Quality it just blows me away every time I turn it on. It's brighter then my C1 so in a bright room I have zero issues with its PQ and that I believe that comes down to its Evo Panel. Web OS is fast and quick and the layout of Web OS is better. Plus add to all of this the new 2024 Update pretty much made my C3 future proof which means I am set for a few years with my C3 and dont plan on upgrading anytime soon.

PRAY!
I have had my TV for 3 miserable weeks. I believe that I could have potentially have been happy with this TV, except that after numerous attempts to get warranty service (and it's essentially a new TV) I gave up and am retuning it. It came with corrupt software and LG is just playing games (I screenshot my chat for proof and to laugh). Expect nothing, if you should get a defective unit. This could have been so simple if they could have just flashed over new software, like Tesla does once a week! But they seem to be backward. Sorry to have to write this. Luckily I bought this at BB with a 60 day return policy and they are taking care of me.

Godawful Bad User Interface
Very very good image quality. This is cancelled by the absolutely horrible user interface. I am a retired video engineer from NBC, and I can say with some expertise that these LG user interfaces, including the screen menus and the remote control design, are absolutely the worst I've ever seen. And I've seen all the major brands; none of them are great, but this one takes the award The User Experience team for this TV should be fired.

Good hardware, remote and software not so good
very clear display.
remote control is extremely disappointing. It is overly sensitive to motion and has awkward delays. It is not illuminated so that it is much too easy to press the wrong button in the dark. It does not function well at all as a universal remote. I have stopped using it for dish tv as it is too frustrating --it needs multiple button and cursor actions to do what a single button press does on the dish remote. But I still need it for volume so end up using two remotes all the time.
WebOS is very basic. It will not load or play PBS programs at PBS my passport if I use it to log in. It just throws an error. To get around this, I connect my laptop to a HDMI port on the LG tv and log in to PBS using my laptop. Very disappointing as well. For the money ($900) it should be better than this.

Do Not Buy This Television
I have had a poor experience with this television. The television does not connect to WiFi unless we go through an elaborate process of resetting the TV settings every single use. I have had a technician out to my house and LG has had a remote technician review the problem, but they are unable to find a solution. (Every other device in my house has zero issues with the WiFi, which is a 1G ultra high speed connection running on a relatively new, expensive router.) This is a very common problem with this tv (a quick Google search will bring up several dozen similar stories) with no solution. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Awful experience
Would give 0 stars if possible.
We have had the TV less than 1 month and the screen started glitching (flickering) and has now stopped turning on altogether. We immediately contacted LG support through the manufacturers warranty the first night it started and spent over a hour on the phone with a help technician. After several photos and video calls to verify the issue, we were told he could not fix it and the problem would have to be referred onward.
As of this date, have been waiting on a service person to come and repair it for over a month now.
Absolutely horrible experience and will not be buying another LG, after being long time consumers of this brand; utterly disappointing.

Why am I getting "Are you still watching"
Re: LG OLED 65" tv: I turn the tv off, turn the cable box off, and unplug it from the electrical source when I'm going to be away for the day or longer. When I turn it back on, sometimes right away, and often after it's been on for an hour or two, I get the message, "Are you still watching". Why is that happening?

0 stars I bought LG TV for 2800 10 months ago and screen went black as I was watching it hanging on my wall. I thought for sure warranty would cover because no fault of our own. LG does not warrant internal crack that was manufacturing fault. Not only they wouldn’t warrant their warrant. Customer service was horrible. The image is outstanding. I am unhappy with how my ONKYO receiver attached via EARC HDMI causes the sound to be unstable. You never know if you’ll get sound when you turn it on. I have to unplug the HDMI cable from the TV and plug it back in again, sometimes several times before it works.
I replaced the receiver, the HDMI cable and had the TV’s circuit board replaced.

SOUND OUTPUT CONTROL TERRIBLE!
DO NOT BUY THIS TV IF YOU WANT TO USE AN EXTERNAL SPEAKER! While the picture is great, the sound control (software?) will MAKE YOU NUTS!!!
It randomly changes the sound output. Sometimes the external speaker will work, sometimes not. Or it will randomly switch. This happens with both HDMI ARC and Optical.
No need to believe just me. Read the reviews and blogs. It is NOT just me.
LG, you need to figure this stuff out!

Terrible Quality and Customer Service
Bought my 55 inch C3 from Target back in April 2024. A few weeks after the return date, the TV started having issues where the picture would flicker and eventually go all black. It would sometimes have an issue where the pixels float around the screen as well. LG (under warranty) sent out a third party company three separate times to do three separate repairs over the span of three months (they replaced the panel, main board, and power supply plus a cable) and this fixed NOTHING. I then get on the phone with them and they decided they will replace the TV and offered me the choice between a C3 or a C4. I was at work and knew little about the C4 so I initially chose the C3. For two days I decided to study up on the C4 and gave LG a call, this time deciding that I wanted it. I called them and asked if they could give me the C4 instead of the C3, and at first they said since I already chose the C3 there was nothing they could do. So I called back and decided to ask for someone in the RA department. This person was very nice and understanding and told me to tell that company that will be delivering the C3 to NOT do so, since they would be switching me over to the C4. The next day I get a call from a "Presidential Liason" and missed it. I called back and was told the only way to get in contact with this person is to wait for a follow up call the next day. Instead of getting a call, I get a text telling me that I WON'T be getting the C4 and that I will be getting the C3. My question is, who conducts business like this? How do you offer someone something and then go back on your word? That's now how you do business. I will NEVER buy an LG product again! Not only is the quality control on the product garbage, but the customer service is just as bad. I'm still in the process of this (trying to get the C4 as the replacement) and no one has given me a call yet to right their wrongs. After three months of waiting around without a functional TV, this is how they treat me?

Great Picture
I bought this TV in April. It gets nearly daily use and works great for us which is watching TV over FiOS. We don't use the various apps. It's nice to know they are there...maybe we'll explore them someday. Really like the image quality of OLED screen. The LG remote is hardly used since the FiOS remote controls channel selection and volume, but the LG remote is useful for going into menu items. The mouse like pointer feature is nice but it seems reluctant to appear at time, a bit wonky in that aspect.
The TV developed a problem 2 weeks ago where it would shut off after 5 seconds. During the image display at startup, a black vertical line appeared. A call to LG support verified ti was a defect and they quickly contacted a local shop who just replaced the defective part. Hopefully it was just a rare defect and I'm expecting years of trouble free service

77-In OLED Dissapoinment
My 77 C3 OLED is three months old and has problems since the first week. Constant audio problems losing sound and earc never working.
Tv picked up for repair waiting for parts?? Lg customer service is the absolute worst i have ever experienced. They sent a repair company from 225 miles away to pick up and repair. LG should offer an extended warranty or better yet replace with a new TV. This my third and last Lg tv in my home, NEVER AGAIN

Muddy sound quality
I would give this tv a higher rating but for the poor sound quality. Voices are muddy, lacking crispness to make them even intelligible at times. The problem seems worse on cable programs such as local news, but slightly better in watching streaming programs. The problem exists even when the "clear voice" setting is selected.

Firmware updated killed the TV
Bought it a couple weeks ago from best buy. TV stopped turning on after the new firmware update. Custom support were great but even they didn't think repairing was a good idea. Had to return it. Had a lot of hopes as my last LG is still working perfectly after 8 years.

Good features, great picture, bad quality
Tv has incredible picture but horrible build quality. Purchased this a little over a year ago at Best Buy and the buttons on the remote are literally falling off. I have best but premier membership and it's a hassle to get the remote replaced through them and of course went be covered under LG because they made the product last just long enough to get past the standard manufacturers warranty

Green & pink tint
Bought this TV in August and have been super disappointed with the picture quality so far. It looks great in dark scenes but at ANY angle the opposite side turns green and the near side turns pink. It is clearly visible at normal viewing angles from the couch. When watching a movie the color of the sky will be different depending on where you look at the screen, and even when watching head-on the color of grass will be different depending on where on the screen you look.
It is honestly driving me nuts and it is not a cheap TV either! I "upgraded" from a 65" Panasonic OLED that had zero issues from any angle. I contacted LG support who told me that it is perfectly normal for OLEDs. I have looked at C3 model in-store and I have looked at by friend's cheaper B-series and they have NO issues like my TV does. So it seems there is a 98% chance you will receive a great TV when buying LG but if you are the remaining 2% then you are out of luck. There shouldn't be such huge differences between the individual panels. My TV is 4 months old and I just want to chuck it in the basement. Buyer's remorse for sure. As a note - I live in a country with no return policy when opened so my only hope was the manufacturer.

Poor Quality
TV stopped working after 1 yr 2months. LG quality has dropped drastically in the last few years. I've owed several LG products before, but seems like it is time to take my brand loyalty elsewhere.

Great picture, but...
The display quality is great and I would give it 5 stars if it would just stop crashing on me. I have had to unplug it at least once a week for the last 5 weeks to reset it after it crashes. I have called LG Customer Service 4 times on this issue and I feel that they haven't a clue as to what is wrong. On each call they tell me something else to try. I am just their guinea pig. This TV is NOT RELIABLE.

The worst I ever bought. All the apps which came with it are not working in less than year. The apps were working then you blocked the internet. Customer service spent more than hour and half but they failed to fix. Supervisor Mr. Romeo told that will contact the engineer, but no body call me back

Great... while it works.
Absolutely dismal reliability and an insultingly short warranty period.
I liked it while it worked. It checked all the boxes feature-wise and had a good panel. But it only took a dismal 15 months to fail completely, suddenly failing to boot up one day. The warranty for this TV was, at the time of purchase, 12 months. Looking online, I found that this issue has become shockingly common, with these TVs often failing just months after their warranties expire.
Never have I owned a TV that didn't last at least ten years... until now. If you read this and still are dead-set on getting an LG TV, buy the extended warranty and expect to use it, as I was ghosted after being offered a "courtesy repair" out of warranty.

Junk - Internals burned up
I've had the TV for only 1.5 years and it just blew up on me. Fizzling/popping sounds and will no longer power on. Nothing wrong with my outlets/circuits. Tested them with other devices... I called LG and they told me nothing they can do being that its over a year old. This was my 3rd LG and they just lost a customer for life.

65” LG OLED C3 TV
I had this TV for six months and it developed a line through it. Then it would shut off randomly most times you could turn it right back on but it quit it completely quit working 3 months ago. I talked with an LG rep and said it was out of warranty by two months. I should have called when I first noticed an issue. Seems like I’m stuck with an expensive TV that doesn’t work.
I’m disappointed in this TV but blame myself for not calling in sooner. If you notice an issue please call LG at the first sign of an issue.

Disappointing purchase
Bought this tv July 2024 and so not even 2 years with it and the screen does not stay on. When I try to turn it on it just shows two white lines and after 5 seconds it shuts off.
