TV not compatible with Alexa
I have had this TV for two weeks. I’ve spent almost 3 hours with tech-support at LG and another hour and a half with Amazon trying to get the TV to communicate with Alexa. After all that time I’m advised that tv only does very limited thcommands with Alexa. Mine will only change to YouTube. and it takes almost a full minute to do that. Your claim of being compatible with Alexa is very weak if not fraud

LG 65 OLED Frame Mount with no frame mount
I just received my 65” OLED G4 from BB this week. Frame mount was the primary reason I paid extra for the G4 instead of getting the C4. I am disappointed that LG is selling a frame mount TV without supplying a suitable, offering a suitable mount for sale or making sure that a compatible frame mount was currently commercially available.

Awesome
I purchased this tv almost a month ago. I am extremely pleased with the picture, but am even more excited about the sound quality. I have a wireless 7.2 sound system and the audio output on the tv really helps accentuate it, it really adds a new level.

Unwatchable at times.
Great picture. Sadly 2 stars due to the consistent cutting in and out between commercials. I suspect this can be resolved with a future software or firmware update.

Previously owned the 2019 model of this TV in the C series. The picture and menu bar is light years better on the G4. The magic remote is also much more responsive now and works much better. Massive upgrades and I’m very happy.

Best TV Ever Owned!
After reading glowing reviews, I 1st bought a 48” C1 and loved it. I wanted to replace my 16 yr old Pioneer plasma because it was getting dimmer, but still cranking out great quality. I had a Sony LCD, returned due to awful blooming and too high price. This 65” G4 is so amazing. Picture quality is best I have seen. Brightness and contrast brings out the exciting colors and blacks. eARC works well. There are so many settings I only wish there was a manual to guide customers to make best use of them.

Horrible experience…I will never buy LG again
Horrible experience, the people from Handy supposed to mount your TV rescheduled at the last minute and when they finally showed up, didn’t do the job as they didn’t have the right screws. I had to complain to Handy and they agreed to reschedule but never followed up with me

Spectacular TV
I bought the LG G4 65" oled two weeks ago to replace a previous LG OLED I purchased 8 years ago. I cannot believe the difference. The picture is stunning. Even the sound, which I outboard to a speaker system through an amp, is noticeably better. And I like the improvements to the user interface, too. Well worth the money. Did I say, "Well worth the money?"

Terrible order management and customer service
I have no idea how the TV looks or works. LG was supposed to have the TV installed. Instead it has been sitting in the living room for the last 3 weeks waiting LG to arrange installation service. Numerous calls to customer service and they are not capable of solving problems. Buy the TV from Costco or another reputable retailer. I also ordered a wall mount from them and it also took 3 weeks to ship. Shipment got lost and I am waiting for LG to call me within 3 days. Even if they call, it may mean another several weeks of wait. My experience has been bad and I am frustrated.

Great features and improvements!
We bought this to replace our older LG TV, which is now working fine in another room. We wanted a larger screen for our aging eyes, and can now read the text messages in movies, and CC, but the image is so much crisper, the light brighter, and the colors more vivid. Scenes in movies that used to look to dark and now more clearly visible. We love it!

Great TV. Very accessible.
As a visually impaired user, I was pleased to note that this TV is extremely accessible. I really like how easy it is to turn on audio description. I would like to see an easier way to turn voice guidance on and off rather than holding down the mute button. Using the microphone cannot turn voice guidance on or off even though the help topic stating what voice commands can be used states that there is a voice command to enable or disable voice guidance. There are some channels missing that my Samsung had. These include dry bar, Drew Barimore, and Hallmark. The "hi LG" feature is interesting, though it says it can't recognize my voice even though I've set up a voice profile. But overall, I would recommend this TV to anyone over my older Samsung C90 QLED.

Spectacular image but with connectivity issues
No question this is an outstanding TV with the latest technology and best picture quality. However, since its release in early April, LG has not resolved the HDMI 2 issue where when switching between sources and back to HDMI 2, the picture is degraded/pixelated. After spending many hours on the phone with LG tech support and getting in touch with the testing department of LG, the problem was replicated and I was told this would be addressed by a software fix. This has yet to come.

Like looking out of a window.
I have had this set for a few weeks and I am telling you this TV has a fantastic picture. The blacks are BLACK. The color is very vivid.
My tittle says it all: it is almost like looking out of a window when looking at programs that show outdoor scenes.
Sports are perfect with no blur and detail shows very well.
The remote is easy to use and there are plenty of voice commands you can use with it plus the "quick" buttons to pull up for instance Amazon prime and Netflix using buttons or voice.
I have included some photos showing actual stills of Crater lake in Oregon via OPB as broadcast. Perfect! This was using the OTA antenna that connects and sets up easily.
I have it in our bedroom so that explains why the tv is mounted high for better viewing while laying down.
This is also a very lightweight tv so that makes it even easier to move and mount.
I am so glad I purchased this set from LG. Thanks for a great product!

Extraordinary
I recently upgraded my living room TV to an LG OLED TV, and it's been a game-changer. The picture quality is absolutely phenomenal, delivering a truly cinematic experience at home. Here's why I love it:
Stunning Blacks and Vibrant Colors: OLED technology shines (literally) with its perfect blacks and incredible contrast. This makes dark scenes look incredibly detailed and lifelike, while bright colors pop with vibrancy. Watching movies or playing HDR games feels truly immersive.
Perfect for Movie Buffs and Gamers: The high refresh rate (120Hz on most models) makes motion incredibly smooth, perfect for fast-paced action movies or gaming. Plus, LG OLED TVs are known for their low input lag, which is crucial for gamers for a responsive and lag-free experience.
Smart TV Platform: LG's webOS smart TV platform is easy to use and packed with features. You can access all your favorite streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and more, right from the TV. The voice assistant integration (Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Siri) allows for easy control and content discovery.
Sleek Design: LG OLED TVs boast a sleek and minimalist design with thin bezels that practically disappear around the screen. This creates a truly immersive viewing experience and makes the TV look great in any room.
Overall, I can't recommend LG OLED TVs enough. The picture quality is unmatched, the features are excellent, and the design is sleek and modern. It's an investment, but for anyone who loves watching movies, playing games, or simply wants the best possible viewing experience, it's absolutely worth it.

No option for flush wall mount for G4 - stay away
LG’customer service and overall organization is the worst. Although I contacted Lg ahead of time and was assured that the flush wall mount comes with the G4 - they don’t even sell the flush wall bracket intended for the TV ( also not available anywhere for purchase). To be clear only that specific wall mount is supposed to work. Like selling a product without a charger.. I mean complete disarray…

Missing slim wall mount bracket
I purchased a OLED65G4SUB TV from BrandsMart USA 06/28/2024 online. The TV was delivered on 07/13/2024. When I opened a box, I didn't find the slim wall mount bracket in it. I called LG Monday 07/15/2024 and talked to one of your reps Aly. She said that you would mail it to me free of charge, but she needs to contact someone to confirm something. She said she would call me back later once she finds everything out. Almost five days passed, no one has contacted me to resolve the problem. I tried to email the issue several times to the provided email address and received system errors all the time. Awful customer service!!!!

HDMI2 video issue … beware!
I have now purchased two 65 G4s and they BOTH have the same issue: HDMI2’s video works intermittently. I have called LG tech support at least 8 times, spoke to supervisors and the whole experience has been terrible. The only suggestion is to “send a tech.” Obviously this is not unit specific, as it’s happening on two TVs. Interestingly, the setup has always been the same with my prior LGs (C9, CX, C3) without any issues. I have desperately reached out to LG for an explanation (is this a software issue which can be addressed by an update, or is this a hardware issue?) No response whatsoever! And this is LG’s flagship TV for 2024!

The Absolute Best Just Gets Better!
Quite simply, this is the best TV that exists on the market today. The black levels are just stunningly gorgeous with an infinite contrast ratio. The color representation is nearly flawless when using the ISF modes, although you can calibrate it with a 3D LUT if you want with CalMAN and a meter.
As opposed to previous versions of the G series, there isn't a wall-mount in the box for all sizes. But for me, this is preferred as I have a wall mount already and would not use the LG version. Sound is average as you would expect from a TV this thin, but let's be real--if you are using this TV, you aren't using the built-in speakers. Get a proper sound system or a soundbar and make it a complete setup.
I still feel there is a little too much "stuff" in LG's operating system. Lots of pop-ups for ads or voice commands or whatever else. You can disable most of it, but it's a pain. The magic remote is one of the best in its class.
The QD-OLED is coming for LG's "traditional" OLEDs. Other manufacturers are making big strides in this area, especially when they target the traditional OLED weakness which is brightness. That said, the LG gets an even brighter panel this year, and I don't feel the brightness on OLED has been an actual "issue" since the pre-C2 days.
Overall, this is the best TV you can buy in 2024. There are no compromises. There are no significant flaws. If you want the best, you found it.

Would give it no stars if I could. Bought 65 LG G4 for a basement remodel via LG website and pick at local Best Buy on 12/31/24. TV sat in the box for 3 weeks on a different level of the house well basement was completed. Open the box on 1/24/25, and found on open that the TV shipped with a cracked panel in the lower right-hand corner (poor QA from factory) shipping box had no damage on it as well as no damage to the glass. Go to turn the TV on and only get two quick white lines on the right side of the TV then it goes to standby mode. Best Buy will not take it back and LG has not been helpful at all with a return or new replacement (appalling customer service). Gave two bad phone number to call to get it repair. Buy at your own risk.

LG G4 Rocks!
The LG G4 is a fantastic OLED TV. This is the first time I have purchased an LG TV and OLED for that matter and thus far I am very satisfied. I upgraded from a Samsung LCD that I had for 15 years and wow, I was blown away by the LG G4. The brightness, the clarity, the 144hz refresh rate capability for gaming and the surprisingly good sound for internal speakers. The 5-Year panel warranty also made it an easier decision to go with the LG G4 OLED. Thank you!

Seeing Is Believing
First things first, no amount of photos or words do this TV any justice until you experience it for yourself in person. Now with that out of the way, the LG C4 OLED TV is the latest addition to LG's esteemed line of OLED TVs, known for their exceptional picture quality. The C4 model, in particular, stands out with its Alpha9 AI Processor 4K Gen 7 chip and the latest OLED EX panel with Brightness Booster. This combination results in an enhanced image performance, offering brighter full-screen visuals and more vivid highlight details. Colors are reported to be natural, accurate, and rich, providing lifelike skin tones that add to the immersive viewing experience.
One of the most lauded features of the C4 is its Filmmaker Mode, which delivers excellent accuracy straight out of the box, allowing viewers to enjoy films and TV shows as they were originally intended to be seen. For gamers, the C4 doesn't disappoint either. It boasts features like 4K/144Hz for compatible PC's, 4K/120Hz with Dolby Vision, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, and VRR, along with a Game Optimizer and dashboard. The input lag is impressively low, making it a strong contender for one of the best gaming TVs.
In terms of design, the C4 maintains a similar aesthetic to its predecessor, the C3, with only minor tweaks in specifications and a slightly different material on the rear panel. It's available in various sizes, catering to different room dimensions and preferences.
However, the C4 is not without its drawbacks. Critics have noted the absence of HDR10+/HDR10+ Adaptive support and have commented on the top third advertising space in WebOS 24 as an unwelcome use of screen real estate. Additionally, while there's a good amount of criticism about the sound quality, I personally think it's pretty good for a TV of its stature, but like most modern TV's I'd suggest pairing it with an optional soundbar to enhance the audio experience and get that home theater experience.
Overall, the LG C4 OLED TV is highly recommended for its all-around performance, striking a balance between price and features, and offering the best of LG's mid-range offerings. It's a significant step up from the previous model and is expected to compete strongly in the mid-range OLED TV market.

Worst Customer Service Ever for Defective Product
BUYER BEWARE! We purchased this TV on Cyber Monday online through LG. We were given the option to have it shipped or pick up at our local Best Buy which is what we opted to do. Upon getting TV home, we discovered it has a large white line in the picture running the entire length of the screen. When running diagnostics failed, LG said they would not send a repair person since we picked it up at Best Buy and we had to return it there. Best Buy will not accept it without a work order from LG but LG insists we don’t need it. We have tried numerous avenues to resolve this for the past 6 1/2 weeks. We have 3 different case numbers and despite promises that our case is “escalated” we get the same words each time with no one person assuming responsibility for our case. We have resorted to disputing the charge on our credit card. This is by far the worst customer service we have ever experienced from any company. We will never purchase another LG product again.

LG OLED G4 terrible
I’m really disappointed in LG. This TV worked fine for a month then power on issues. They replaced the panel with some very scratched screen was obviously not new. So now they are going to exchange it with a new tv. Only after having to prove over and over again it was very scratched. So not happy at all with LG. I had a LG 43 in tv for 17!years never had one issue and this is why I decided to buy another LG. Obviously quality has changed dramatically the tv I bought was crap. I’ll never buy another LG after this one I just hope the replacement tv will last.

Bright with no Reflections...love it
Bright! Picture is bright and the best thing is there is no Window reflections on the screen like my old Vizio had. Love the center stand, made sitting on my entertainment center so much easier than those with the dinky legs on far outside edges. There is not a lot of 4K content to view on regular TV but I have seen a few shows and ...wow... picture is awesome...looking forward to many years of enjoying this awesome TV!

Great picture quality and features
I replaced my 55"LG CX9 with the 65" LG C4 and couldn't be more pleased. The easy order through Costco and standard delivery setup was worth every penny.

Worth every penny
Got it in one piece, turned the tv and to my horror there were streaks coming down the screen. After freaking out thinking I have a lemon, I realized I had the plastic film still on. I removed it, and behold...no uniformity issues or banding streaks. User error was hilarious. Anyway, amazing tv! Glad I got it.

Best picture ever, great thin screen, but flaws
Best picture in 2024. However, the WebOS menu system and the remote are clumsy. Should be easier to get it to play nicely with home theater components. The THINQ app is absolutely horrible. Love the thin form factor, but LG should include both the stand and the low profile wall mount at this price.

Dropping WI-FI signal.
Great TV! Purchase less than one week ago. Television has dropped a strong WI FI signal twice since far and I don’t know why.

2024 TV of the Year
Where do I start?
The LG G4 OLED is home theater perfection. It's the brightest and most-feature packed TV of the year. It works perfectly in daylight, eliminating the reputation of OLEDs not being all-day TVs.
The Brightness Booster Max is the real deal. The image processing is pristine and HDR shows and movies look absolutely amazing. And as the only OLED television with Dolby Vision Filmmaker Mode, you get the most accurate picture quality possible while respecting the creator's intent.
The TV sound quality is decent out of the box, but why would you buy an OLED of this quality and not connect it to a soundbar / receiver? Dolby Atmos supports works exactly as expected if you have a capable soundbar and the setup is a breeze. One of the most useful features is the popup that identifies the codec when you play HDR, Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos content. Every TV should do this by default. It's a small detail but it's useful to know exactly what you're watching when so many streaming services place their HDR and Dolby Atmos support behind higher price tiers.
The 144hz gaming support is truly impressive but I am a casual gamer so I didn't really give those features a deep dive. webOS is pretty snappy and customizable. The Chromecast and AirPlay support allow me to connect my Android and iOS devices with ease.
I do think every size of the G4 should have the option of a TV stand or wall mount and the remote design could be improved with more premium materials. But regardless, this is the best TV on the market. And the five years of warranty support for the panel and the webOS reNew program go a long way to ensure your hardware and software are in it for the long haul. Will be hard to pull myself away from this TV.

65" OLEDG4SUB LG TV:
Super bright natural picture with great depth of field. Love it! Would have given 5 STAR rating except: Remote is poorly designed with buttons to close, and pointer is very hard to use. Lastly, the TV sound could be better.

Great TV. Bad customer service.
Nicest TV I have ever owned. Image is amazing. So clear and images just jump out at you. Taking off a star because the price went down a couple days after I bought it and the customer support won't refund the difference like all other sites would. Very not helpful and continued to get bumped from support trying to ask if they would price match.

D NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM LG WEBSITE
I was excited to get my Oled65G4, LG delivery company " RXO" has terrible team for delivery that by the way they were suppose to install the TV and they were busy to do it after being scheduled to do so regarding LG website
Anyway most importantly was the TV.
LG sent me a lemon! the TV didn't work.
It doesn't power on ! Just a blinking light after you connect the tv, after being with technical support for troubleshooting, no the TV it's Dead!
But that's not all when you call , chat or email this company it's the most inconvenience, uneasy, terrible experience you can have. Poor communication, some of them even hang up ph your phone call, and when you finally get someone to " get a solution" there's none.
Lg it's really quick to sell a product they even offer you a low discount, but after you purchase you're literally on your own, so my advice for you go someplace else!

Like the slimness of the profile which is 95% why we bought this LG. Wish lG operating system allowed the PBS app and DirecTv.
Easy setup. Great picture. LG channels nice extra.

Crisp, Clear, Bold and Bright
We've had this TV up for about a week now and we love it. We replaced an older LG OLED it seems as though LG took everything that made those early OLEDs great and improved upon them. Just the absolute best picture you can get with deep blacks and vibrant colors. The weight of a TV isn't something that comes in to play very often, but this thing was very lightweight and made getting it up on the wall a breeze. TV/Cable, streaming, movies and video games all look great (especially the video games!). Our DirecTV box has all the smart features we could want, so we just tend to use that since we're already using it for TV, but in playing around with the WebOS it's honestly really great. Fast, smooth, intuitive...you can really tell it was once a smartphone OS. We tried out some of the AI features as well, and all did what they suggested they would, other than the Sound AI where it seemed to just make it louder and very 'tin-can-y'. It even has a built in smart speaker and hub, and while we have a dedicated setup for this already, we did play around with the features and they would be a great starting point for somebody who doesn't have a dedicated setup. I really think this very high on the list of 'best TVs you can buy right now'.

Shame on LG
I used to love my TV… until I updated to webOS25. If you have not updated to webOS25 do NOT do it. Every good feature that I previously enjoyed is now behind a paywall. Shame on you LG. For example, I used to be able to have art pieces automatically display when turning off the TV… not anymore. It doesn’t work, I have to manually do it every time I want it and the good art is trapped behind a subscription. For spending so much money on a TV, one would think an update wouldn’t rip away all the features I most enjoy. Shame on LG.

Remote Control and CEC Issues
I am a long-standing LG customer and I got the OLED65G4 a few months back. While the display is undeniably impressive, the overall user experience has been a major letdown due to persistent software and technical flaws.
One of the most frustrating issues is the HDMI-CEC function, which is completely unreliable. Connected devices either don’t get recognized at all or fail to work properly, making it a headache to control anything seamlessly.
But the worst part? The TV won’t reliably turn on or off with the Magic Remote. Ever since the last software update, the power button has become unresponsive, leaving me with no choice but to reset the TV. Even that doesn't help much as after a day of use, the remote will stop working again. This kind of malfunction is unacceptable for any TV.
LG’s support has been no help whatsoever. Despite attempts to get assistance, all I’ve received are unhelpful replies and vague promises that they’re “working on it.” For a brand that markets itself as premium, this lack of a real solution is beyond frustrating.
At this point, I wouldn’t recommend the G4 to anyone.

Amazing picture quality. Love it.
Best picture quality, perfect out of the box. 5 year of software upgrades is awesome and 5 year panel warranty is awesome too. Paired with the LG S95TR and it takes the sound to a whole new level.

Terrible Delivery Service
Never received the product. Placed the order, they confirmed delivery the night before but then canceled delivery in the morning, after I had taken the day off of work to take delivery. They then needed 2 more weeks to reschedule delivery and sure enough did the same thing. Then they told me they lost the item, and then when I attempted to cancel the order told me I'd only be refunded once they found the item. Totally unbelievable - I've missed multiple days from work, spent hours on the phone, and now I might be out thousands of dollars because I ordered directly from LG.

Just another LG
The product was supposed to be delivered on three separate occasions I paid for delivery and installation. Yeah, they delivered it and said that they weren’t installing it. It took me a month to get the TV and now I’m trying to figure out how to get the fire stick to work with the TV. I can have the channels go up and down, but the volume doesn’t seem to work on the fire stick with this TV. Worst of all they were supposed to credit me $50 as an inconvenience credit and that still hasn’t happened promises made promise is broken but the TV came very well Promise is

Annoying noises while watching
The TV makes annoying thermal clicking noises from the back panel when it expands and contracts due to temperature changes. I contacted LG several times, and a technician checked it. They said these noises are normal, and after researching online, it seems all G-series TVs have this issue, with the new G6 apparently having the same back panel. Because of this, I probably won’t buy an LG TV again.
