Nice Monitor
Bought this monitor for work (coding, documentation, charts, etc)
The Pros:
- Multiple virtual displays (PBP) with Mac Book Pro 16"
- Nice Color, but wouldn't use it for photo processing
- Very readable text
- Nice built-in speakers
Improvements Needed
- Could be a little brighter, maybe another 50-100 cd/m2
- A slight curve to the screen might be nice to angle the sides towards the user a bit
-Adjustable height
- Documentation. I couldn't find any support info for this monitor on the LG site so I'm not sure what's going on there. At first I couldn't get the PBP to work with the Mac even while using the USB-C cable. By default each Picture is mapped to a different physical input.
I finally tried the LG OnScreen Control that's listed for the 43UN700-B and it worked great.
To be honest, I thought I was ordering the 43UN700-B, but selected this monitor (43BN70U) my mistake. This monitor is about 50 cd/m2 "dimmer" compared to what I meant to order. Oh well, everything else seems to be about the same.
