Rated 5 out of 5 by from Next Level Technology! I love this beautifully designed StandByMe Go touch screen TV! It is high quality and works perfectly. I do wish it was easier to get my streaming DirecTV but it can be done. Please consider putting the DTV app on it in a future upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Your only limit is your own creativity. It's great. I wish it had a few more built in apps, but a roku stick solves that problem when necessary. I use it mostly on my back porch for sports watching when it's not dark enough for a projector, and this really gives it a nice atmosphere. Many outdoor TVs are prohibitively expensive due to hardiness and sunlight protection. This you can just move around as needed. Well worth it. Also, easy to use, intuitive interface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised This came in about a week ago and it has been a blast to use. During the fall, there are so many sports and football games on and this has converted my living room into my very own sport bar. I can keep an eye on all the games I want and also bring the sport out to my back yard. The battery last about as long as a single game but is easy to plug in and charge. The picture is 1080p but plenty for the size of the screen. It is about as pixel dense as my 4k tv on the wall. I am looking forward to bringing this along on camping trips and other tailgating events for the easiest set up you can buy. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. I’d say it is slightly expensive. I purchased it at the pre-order $999 price. $1,200 is steep unless you fall into the exact use-cases it excels at. I applaud LG for thinking outside the box and giving us options that are not the normal and boring.

It is sleek, looks and works great, we wanted to use the touchscreen with our computer and it doesn't allow us to see the screen as touchable - but that is not a deal-breaker - the screen is big and the case is protective. Overall - it's really solid and works well. It's a little heavy, but not prohibitively so. Good build quality and works well.

I have a small bedroom and thought it was the perfect product for it. Sadly I did have to return as my it still did not fit my room (the the products issue.. it was mine). One thing I think could change is if it was sleeker and not as heavy. Carrying it around was a downside.. but again I love the idea of having a portable smart tv that you can take on the go whether you’re on a trip or at home.. I think this could become something great!

It is all, out of the box easy! On the down side, it’s not light (nor heavy!) but if you are car camping or a traveling salesman, WOW. This is for you!

It is a hefty one so be aware of that. No more trying to figure out hotel TVs. Having access to the apps I use is fantastic.

I do wish it was 120 Hz and / or 4k, but I realize the battery life would be reduced to 1/3 of what it is now if it was, so understandably, compromises had to be made. I really do wish they would’ve put a coax input in it so a TV antenna could be attached and it would really be a portable experience. I love the portability, and my daughter loves it so much more than watching a tablet. Can’t wait to use this camping! It’s also great for watching the football game at work with Phone mirroring. The whining reviews about the weight are kinda ridiculous. What were you expecting A monitor, speakers, and a big battery to weigh? Perhaps these folks need to take this TV to the gym….??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I purchased this portable TV in hope to use it in conferences and events and it serves this purpose amazingly well. people were stunned. Although it has an HD screen, picture quality is stunning and shows like QHD. I cast my phone to the TV, turned it to vertical mode and was surprised to see the touch screen works in this mode as well, making the TV a perfect and usable display for mobile apps. I placed this TV inside a padded luggage and checked it in on flight overseas. The TV arrived in perfect condition in both directions. The only downside of this TV is the weight. The TV is much heavier than I expected and may cost you overweight if you plan to travel with it like I did. The LG webOS has lots of features, apps and games which makes it one of the most fun gadgets I ever had.

With the switch to the briefcase version opened the multiple uses as an outdoor solution for my rooftop terrace. As well as option for my three season room. Works great with the battery and wifi features as truly portable, Easy to setup. In my rush to get the model I ordered from ebay but found out it was the south Korea verison which caused issue using my smart apps. Two expensive to return to South Korea so I bought a Roku stick to get around this issue. I ordered a second unit from PC Richards as an extra.

The speakers are excellent and the fact that you can extend to a bluetooth speaker makes the experience even better. Who is it for? The enthusiast that wants TV anywhere! But please make sure to have a mode of transportation, because at almost 28 pounds you'll only be carrying it a short distance. I found it great, both inside & outside of the house for various use cases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solves very real problems, but 1080p it's a no-go. There is so much to like about the concept. Is it niche? Sure. But I travel to conferences and trade shows frequently. This is brilliant as a solution to having to rent from conference organizers. Further, the setup would be a breeze. Finally, at the end of the day, you could take it back to your hotel room and watch a movie with ease. But why for a device at this cost would LG decide to limit this to a 1080 panel vs. 4K? At 27", hooking up my computer to this monitor would have been perfect in so many situations. But text on a 27" 1080p display is just a non-starter for me. I was about to click "Add to Cart" assuming that it just had to be 4K. Glad I read the fine print. If LG updates this model with a better panel at a sub-$1k price point, I'm 100% in.
