Rated 5 out of 5 by from No way - keep shopping- poor design Very disappointed - I returned after just 3 days! It does what it say well BUT I returned it for a poor design. This will not hold up over time and was very disappointing. 1) there is a TINY spring inside to hold the battery in place. This falls out and will eventually get lost. 2) there are no diagrams on the correct placement of the spring and battery... (+terminal or negative terminal end)? one is left to figure this out on your own. 3) I may have placed it inside incorrectly once and the spring gets twisted and shorts out against the pen case. It gets hot and the battery dies very quickly. 4) It's not rechargeable and uses a not so common battery... ok, I knew this when I bought it but I was hoping to stay with Lenovo (hoping for quality). 5) customer service (phone call) was no help. She did not know if the Chromebook Duet 5 even took a stylus, what kind, or if it used one, why it was not included. This is a headache there is no place to secure it, it does not come with a stylus, but has a spot that I do not know why its there if not to hold a stylus.. I now see rechargeable USI 2.0 pens for less, that offer the same USI 2.0 standards. Its just not a good design and I can't recommend this one at all... only recommend you keep shopping for a different and better design.

It is very useful for writing as it has pressure sensitivity options and was super easy to set up as it automatically connected - all I had to do was add a battery. My only wish is that it had buttons that could change settings within apps such as seen on other active pens, but for that low a price you can't get everything!

Limited bloatware, only Dropbox, which was easily removed. A little heavy and I would have preferred the edges to have been chamfered or filleted a bit more, but it is not uncomfortable to use. Would have preferred it in a plain business black, I'm not a fan of colored cases on devices. So far as expected

Got the pen cause it is the only one that works with my Duet 3 (due to it using the USI 2.0 standard and it not being backwards compatible) as of the writing of this in September 2022. It does the good job of writing and making notes on the Cursive, Notes and Canvas app and in the keyboard function. The paid app of Nebo is where this works great, with functions to eraser easier and faster then the free Google ones. I have used it with just taking notes so I can only speak to using the pen quickly and not long sessions. Wish it did have an eraser function on the tail of it but unsure if that is a hardware or software problem to fix.

Good writing flow and seems to have a stable connection so far. Good solid performer after using it for about two weeks. It would be nice to have an integrated eraser, but I expect that would be more costly.

I have a glass screen protector on the tablet, which doesn't appear to interfere with this stylus. Also a lot more colors. Great for artists and folks that like to draw. Do I really need the new pen? No. But for the price ($26 at the Lenova website), it's a great deal

I highly recommend that everyone purchase a USI Pen for that reason alone. I don't sketch often but when I do it is useful. These situations are usually in concept discussions where even crude illustrations help clarify and expedite understanding.

The pen is comfortable to hold and use. I like the fact that it uses AAAA batteries, as I have found that these work well and last for a long time in other pens and styluses that I have experience with.

My daughter loves the pressure sensor so she can draw lightly. The connectivity is great, no lagging so it feels like a real pen or pencil. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not magnetic, will not be able to clip in place Bought for a Chrome Duet 9th Generation. Disappointed to see that it is not magnetic so as to 'clip' into the lid holder. Apparently you can buy the Chrome Duet without a pen, but if you buy it afterwards it is not compatible with the groove magnetic holder on the back of the screen. Otherwise it works fine.

Now the battery does not fit well and the stylus nib does not sit well. We bought another stylus to replace this and I am sure we cannot send this one back. Photo instructions should clearly show that the piece of paper is to help keep the battery in place and should remain. I only figured this out after reading other reviews on a different website where people shared the same experience. In addition, I looked for and did not easily find instructions that explained the piece of paper should remain.

As my desk I run it through an Anker hub and a 4K monitor with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and I am constantly surprised when I glance over at my Duet (I keep my calendar open on it) and realise how small it is. By itself I'm quite impressed. The keyboard is terrific and the screen, while small, it super bright and sharp. Just getting to know it as a tablet too and I love it. Makes working with a Chromebook a pleasure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice little 2 in 1 I was searching for a computer to replace my dying laptop and iPad and this little tablet is the best of both worlds. The battery life is amazing, it’s nice and lightweight, and runs everything I need it to. I do wish it had a headphone jack of some kind but a usb-c adapter solves that problem. My only issue is that the included case and keyboard feel slightly flimsy, and the keyboard will unattach itself if the screen is moved too far back, but it’s not a major issue.
