Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Reliable and Efficient Power Solution I recently purchased the Lenovo 65W AC Power Adapter, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. As someone who relies heavily on their laptop for work and leisure, having a reliable and efficient power adapter is crucial. This Lenovo adapter has proven to be a worthy investment. First and foremost, the build quality is exceptional. The adapter feels sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence in its durability. It's also compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry in my laptop bag without adding unnecessary bulk or weight. The compact design is particularly convenient for frequent travelers like myself. The power delivery capabilities of this adapter are impressive. With a maximum output of 65 watts, it provides sufficient power to charge my laptop quickly and efficiently. I've noticed that it charges my device faster than the previous adapter I owned, which is a significant time-saver, especially when I'm in a hurry or running low on battery. One standout feature of this power adapter is its compatibility. It works seamlessly with my Lenovo laptop, but it also supports a wide range of other laptop models. This versatility is a major advantage, as I can use it to charge multiple devices without any compatibility issues. The adapter also comes with multiple connector tips, ensuring compatibility with various laptop brands and models. Another aspect that I appreciate is the built-in safety features. The adapter incorporates overvoltage and overcurrent protection, safeguarding my laptop from potential power surges. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that my device is protected from any electrical mishaps. The only minor downside I've encountered is that the power cord could be slightly longer. While it's sufficient for most situations, a longer cord would provide more flexibility, especially when power outlets are not conveniently located. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the Lenovo 65W AC Power Adapter. Its robust build quality, efficient power delivery, and broad compatibility make it a reliable choice for anyone in need of a dependable charging solution. With its excellent performance and affordable price point, I would confidently recommend this adapter to fellow laptop users. Note: Please remember that this is a draft review, and you can modify it according to your personal experiences and preferences.

Its compact design makes it easy to carry in a backpack or laptop bag, which is ideal for travel or commuting. The adapter delivers consistent charging performance and supports fast charging for compatible devices, helping you stay productive throughout the day. The build quality feels solid, and the cable length is practical for most workspaces. Overall, this adapter is a great choice for anyone needing a dependable and portable charger for their Lenovo or other USB-C powered devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What can you really say about a power supply brick Power supplies are not sexy but they are necessary. I have two places where I use my computer, a table where I may do some work and in my easy chair so I needed an additional power supply for the other locations. As far as I can tell, the original and this additional one are both solid, providing power for my laptop without any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not quite “as advertised” It is what the website said it was—except for the part about it being “in stock”. Less than 24-hours after placing my order, I received a noticed saying my order would be delayed. So instead of receiving it within a week—ish, it took more like 3 weeks. I bought this as a secondary/backup cord for traveling so it’s not like I was dead in the water without it but still, it would have been helpful to have it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Adapter I ordered a new power adapter because my old adapter was getting very hot. I easily found the one for my Yoga7. When I got it and plugged it in I also noticed that the plug for my PC was much tighter than my old one and stayed in much better. My old one had gotten lose due my carelessness of tripping over the cord when getting up. My new adapter does not get as hot as my old one, so it was time to get a new one. My PC is about 3 years old, and running great so the small investment in the adapter was well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New power adaptor - on time + works well Had to order a replacement power adaptor after almost 4 years because the original adaptor that came with the laptop stopped charging consistently. Received the order on time and the new adaptor works very well!
Date published: 2024-05-07T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem with cable connector This power adapter works adequately, but the cable that connects the adapter to the plug is too loose (that is the other end from the plug itself) and keeps coming out, which means that my battery doesn't continue to charge. I need to constantly check that the cable is connected to the adapter. This doesn't happen with my older adapter, so I didn't expect this problem. I bought this extra adapter so that I could keep one at home and carry one to work when I bring my laptop to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, but not cheap. I got this on sale but still paid more than I would have for a non-Lenovo substitute. I bought this to replace one of those substitutes that I'd previously purchased, because the display blinked off and on again occasionally when using it. Given the cost of the notebook, paying a bit more for a quality adapter if worth it to me, after seeing that non-genuine ones don't all measure up.

Date published: 2022-03-31T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good adapter but its only good if it lasts. I bought this for my work laptop and It took Lenovo 12 days from the date of order to ship this adapter. It was and has been in stock, so no issue there so it was totally unacceptable. There was no reason to delay in shipping out this. Despite of my 3 follow up with different reps. I had to use my personal Mac for work. First of all USB-C chargers are extremely fragile to be used as laptop chargers because the pin is very sensitive and extremely fragile so a bad idea to put in as charging port. Now my laptop USB-C port has also started giving me issues. Stay away from all laptop with USB-C chargers, unless they give you free replacement warranty for at least 10 years. Time will tell how long this adapter will last. The original that came with the laptop lasted 2 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful AC adapter (65W) versus standard adapter I bought this a month ago and now use it exclusively, It's charges faster than the supplied adapter plus I like that it uses a standard 120V plug in cord. The original AC adapter has the 120V plug directly on the adapter and you may not have room or clearance in all situations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works well, could be better/cheaper. A bit overpriced, and would love to find an overall slimmer design, but I purchased two and both work as advertised with good build quality. They charge my wife's x1 carbon, my Dell Latitude, my wife's pixel 2, my pixel 3, usb-c headphones, anything I've thrown at it so far has had no issues. Aukey, Anker, and some others are able to get equivalent voltage/amperage out of smaller form factors, wish Lenovo would follow suit or make their laptops more compatible with third party chargers, but it is what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Convenient! I recently bought a Lenovo ThinkPad E580. I purchased an extra power adapter so I can leave one at my home and another at my office. This way, I don't have to package up my cord each night when I go home. This is so convenient! Because I run the cord under my desk at my office, it would be a real pain if I didn't have a second power adapter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bit higher in price but well worth it I have 2 laptops that use the same kind of charger. My cheaper off-brand charger broke, and I wanted to have a charger for each laptop. I was going to buy a cheap charger from Amazon, so I looked up my old orders to remember what kind of charger I need. When I looked at my purchase history, I realized that in the past I have bought several cheap chargers. Only my old Lenovo charger has remained solid for me. So I switched to Best Buy's website and paid a little more to get another Lenovo that will last for a long time. I would like to say that I prefer ordering from Best Buy since they maintain local storefronts, have knowledgeable staff, have a Geek Squad, and also accept recycling. My Lenovo laptop has also been very reliable. Thank you for solid products.

I checked the specifications on both and this is the right one for my laptop, still not as good as the original one. P.S. The USB-C connector of my original adapter was broken (my fault), that's why I had to get a new one. Nothing else was wrong with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied Really, there's nothing negative to say. When I ordered my T580, it arrived at my door in Halifax, NS by UPS in 6 days from the factory in Kunshan, China. I wanted a second power supply to take with me to a client's office and I didn't want to be constantly disconnecting the power supply at my office. I ordered it and it arrived from China in 5 days, again delivered to my door by UPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No bells or whistles, a true blue collar charger Need a new charger? This'll do. They have a pretty long lifespan compared to other chargers from my experience, no issues with fraying of the wire insulator near the connector like what you see with the Mac magsafe ones. Can't complain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from “Because chaos shouldn't start at 2% battery.” I bought this charger after my original one decided to retire mid-email like it had tenure. The Lenovo 65W USB-C AC Adapter has since restored balance to my life and possibly extended my lifespan by reducing stress-induced heart palpitations. Highlights: Charges faster than my motivation drops on a Monday. Plugged it in and my laptop went from “I'm shutting down in 30 seconds” to “Let’s run 47 Chrome tabs and 18 spreadsheets” in record time. Barely warms up, which is more than I can say about my last three relationships. Cable length is ideal for both desk workers and those who prefer working from the couch like a raccoon avoiding responsibility. Things I appreciate: ?? Sturdy enough that if I trip on it, the charger survives (can't say the same about my dignity). ?? Accepts USB-C like a universal hug—works across devices. ?? Silent, reliable, and doesn't judge me for charging my laptop at 3 AM again. Things to improve: ? Doesn’t automatically start brewing coffee when battery hits 100%. ? Doesn’t tackle coworkers who say “did you try turning it off and on again?” Final verdict: It charges. It doesn’t complain. It keeps me employed. 10/10 would panic-buy again at 1% battery. ?????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs Redesign It works, with some caveats. The cable from the plug to the block is short, so it cannot be set on a table or even most chairs, cluttering the desktop with the longer cable (from block to laptop). It frequently falls to the floor, taking desk items with it. One in 5 travel locations had a chair that could hold it together. The charging tip does not fully connect and light up the charging. I have to switch PC inlets every time and during charging sometimes. It also gets hot at about 70% charge and falls out of the PC inlet. I was assured 3x by Lenovo that this 65w Power Adapter is correct for my laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Choosing Quality Over Price For the price of these, which is extremely reasonable, there isn't a reason to get one of the knock-offs from Amazon or Ebay. I've seen some of the other brands ruin laptops and it's just not worth the headache.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice extra power supply. I would give it 5 stars if when ordering a new Thinkpad it wasn't suggested that I purchase this charger which implied that the Thinkpad didn't come with a charger. I could not find that information when ordering. All in all, it wasn't expensive and having an extra comes in very handy because I don't have to bring a charger to work and then home and then back to work. The battery lasts a really long time so you will forget to bring a charger when you need one. Having a spare is pretty handy. Though, I think having swappable batteries that can be charged off PC is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Returns - Website Malfunction, No Phone Support I tried to return this product, but the website malfunctioned. The website indicated that the product is ready to be processed for a return, but won't proceed to the next screen. I called the support line and spoke with a representative who put me on hold and never returned, so an automated voice asked for a review of the experience and then disconnected the call.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB - C Charger - worth it! Works well! Comes with the wall/outlet cord as well so I didn't have to buy two pieces. Fast shipping as well - also like that this is a real part and has a warranty. If you're on the fence this is the one to buy - not a knockoff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power supply, NO LAPTOP TO USE IT WITH It's a great power supply. It just sits alone, waiting for the laptop that I ordered with it. I've been waiting 2 months for the laptop to ship (before I purchased said I would get it in one week). Poor power supply might have to be returned soon.
