It supports USB 2.0 (not 3.x transfers speeds) and I'm not sure about what wattage it supports (so your smartphone probably won't be able to utilize any fast/ turbo charging while plugged into this adapter). That said, it works fine for slower speed data transfers and if you don't have a USB type C port on your PC, this is a handy adapter to have around.

I've bought countless other versions of these from other random companies and brands over the past couple years, but none come close to this one from Lenovo. My other ones were not reliable, they broke easily, and didn't feel like they were made well. This one however, always works, hasn't broke on me, and the feel like something I can depend on. Did I mention how small these are? They are tiny, which is awesome because I can leave them in my laptop and not have them in the way or catching on things, it's also really easy to haul around by just tossing them in a pocket. Very happy overall, love these things!

I purchased the adapter to place in my vehicles so that this is only one type of cable needed (since all of the cell phones use USB-C now). It still allows for the cables to be used with USB-A power blocks so that there is no need to get rid of them as they are good for low power charging (usually overnight(.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Laptop to Have! I am using my Lenovo Yoga on a daily basis and have found that it is the greatest laptop I have had so far. I can use an extended keyboard and mouse with my Lenovo with or without the dock. I also have an adapter from Lenovo that I can hook up my external monitor with as well. This is a very good laptop to have for all of my daily work, I will use it for my tax preparation work and so far, it has proven it's worth. Thank you to the Lenovo team for coming up with such a versatile product that fits all of my work and personal needs!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Fine These kinds of adapters aren't common among bigger brands, so it was a nice sight to see that Lenovo was offering one now. I needed one to connect USB-C peripherals to my older desktop without any. It works as expected in my use case. I haven't been able to test any transfer speeds through the adapter however, since I don't have any USB-C storage. It's fairly compact, I just would prefer the Lenovo logo be only on one side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Android Auto Disconnection Solution I bought this about a month ago, and have had ample opportunity to test it in my car. My Pixel 6a kept disconnecting from Android Auto. Usually this would happen during a call. It can't reconnect while a call is happening, so this was a concerning issue, especially when I was driving in unfamiliar areas. I had heard that the way to fix this problem was to use a USB C to USB C cable (male on both ends, like the cable that comes with Pixel phones), and connect it to the car port with an A to C adapter. I've used it a lot over the last month, and have had zero disconnections, so I'm happy with it. Android Auto is the only thing that I've used this adapter for, so I can't really speak to data transmission speeds. But I can say that it both charges my phone and passes along data while using Android Auto. I have not noticed any lag or other issues while using this with Android Auto.

It is good products with good design, good quality, thin and feature that I want. One thing I am worried about is how long it is going to last before breaking down. Since it is made in China and not Mexico, I am supposed it should be good quality.
