Really good!
I really like it! Easy set-up and connects well to my laptop. If Lenovo made a gadget to connect the monitor to my laptop, I'd get it. I didn't get the magnet monitor because I read reviews that there were issues with it staying on the laptop. Hence why I went with the ThinkVision.

Good Portable Monitor
Works great and has a good screen. I don't use it as much as I thought. It maybe that it takes a minute or 2 to set up. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Trying Everything - Doesn't Get Out of Standby Mod
As the title says - plug in to any of our 4 laptops at home (2 that are Lenovo) and the monitor will turn on briefly, then go straight to standby mode and off. They have no trouble with another portable monitor that we have - plug and play. But this M14d - hasn't worked. Bought a new cable at the request of another person suggesting it may work and that didn't change. No computer, even during reboot, recognizes the monitor to be able to install the drivers. Probably going to need to return it. This is a terrible product when you're expecting lightweight plug and play, and it doesn't work.

Good Portable Monitor - No Complaints
I hooked this up to my computer and it had an issue for a bit until the drivers caught up, but has worked flawlessly since. I haven't owned it for too long but as far as I'm concerned it's working perfectly and is a good compliment to my ThinkPad laptop.

Great portable, lightweight monitor
This was easy to use especially with the USB-C cable provided. The screen is clear and the monitor lightweight making it easy to travel with. It also comes with a nice sleeve that protects the screen. I am really pleased with this purchase.

Great portable version...
If you need to share screen visibility while utilizing your laptop/tablet, then this portable monitor is the perfect option. However, if you need a temporary monitor with an actual desktop and no other monitor, this will not work for you. It's an add-on to be a duplicate of your screen only - as far as I've been able to utilize it. Nothing wrong with it other than not fitting my purposes.

Little features that make a big impact
Thanks to another reviewer who gave the tip that if you put the brightness down to around 20% you can power the monitor with your USB-C android phone, and it's still plenty bright. This allows me to use a portable monitor for my laptop as well as have a nice screen to enlarge phone entertainment while on a plane and otherwise travelling. Another cool feature is pass-through power. My Lenovo Thinkpad only has one USB-C port for power, but you can hook up the M14d for screen display in one USB-C port, and hook power to the other port and your laptop will still charge. Works for my phone as well. This fits all of my checkboxes for features and more.

Great second monitor for travel
I purchased the portable monitor (M14d) for use in motel rooms during travel. I was a little skeptical about powering the monitor at first because all I had was the Lenovo laptop power brick. So, after reading the [downloaded] user guide (which wasn't really helpful), I decided to just connect the power brick to the M14d then connect the USB C cable provided from the M14d to the laptop USB C power port. It worked (!) and following connection ran the driver installation and checked for Win11 updates to complete the installation. The M14d has a really crisp and clear display so I enjoyed using it. Highly recommended.

I like that the monitor is EPEAT qualified so I’m poisoned less. I like that it’s Energy Star. I wish the screen was a hair larger, but it has great picture quality.

Newly Purchased Monitor, Satisfied with Quality
After researching multiple monitor brands as well as the model numbers that Lenovo offers, I landed on the M14d. Upon unpacking my monitor and setting the product up for my remote work station, I am pleased with the quality and the ease. The monitor built-in stand seems sturdy and the color quality of the monitor is great.

Sweet accessory monitor
I bought this extra monitor to go with a new Lenovo laptop. Set-up was super-easy - just had to connect the cord at both ends. The only additional step I needed to do was to set the display to extend vs. mirror. The monitor is lightweight, comes with its own protective case, and will easily fit into a backpack with the laptop. Highly recommend!

Worst shopping experience
Worst purchase experience ever. Ordered the item 3 weeks ago, shipping label created in the next business day. I’m it has been almost a month since then, and the item still have not been shipped. I called and message customer services multiple times, but didn’t affect the outcome. Cannot cancel the order as shipping label is created. Cannot get a refund as item has not been received. Very frustrating.

Poor Order Process
This review pertains to the order process. TOTAL FAIL. Nowhere on the Lenovo website or anywhere during the order process does it state orders over $200 will require a signature for delivery. I understand Lenovo does not want the risk of porch pirates, however, this should be disclosed up front BEFORE the purchase is completed. Only after missing the initial delivery - which wasn't even at the time promised - was I told a signature would be required. I had to completely rearrange my schedule to be home to sign. Had I known a signature would be required, I would simply have gone to Best Buy.

Terrible customer service . No monitor received.
I don't know how the monitor is as it was not delivered. Lenovo and UPS were completely unhelpful and decided the package had been delivered even though the signature was for someone not at our home and we didn't know and or cameras showed no one attempting delivery at the time stated. After two long chat sessions they said they would replace it and then went quiet. I found out they had decided it was delivered and wouldn't do anything and, furthermore, didn't tell me the of this decision both times. I am extremely disappointed with Lenovo's customer service.

A perfect travel monitor
I work from home most days and like to go to coffee shops to work but struggled without my second monitor. My partner also works from home on Fridays and we only had one set of monitors. This travel monitor was the perfect solution! Now I can go to coffee shops to work or simply use it at my kitchen table while he works at the desk! Very happy with the purchase. It does drain your laptop battery so you’ll need to be near an outlet ideally.

Great small monitor
I tried out many Lenovo and non-Lenovo 16" and smaller monitors, and despite not having built in speakers, this one was the brightest and has a way better color range than most of the rest.

Travel and Stay Productive
Ordered this device about a month ago and it has already changed the way I do work. It is so quick and convenient to add an extra monitor wherever I go. Instead of switching through a thousand tabs on one screen -- I now only have to switch through 500 tabs on each screen ;) Highly recommend. Image is crisp too.

Sweet device, color and firmware issues
I love the size and ergonomics of these. I've owned several. The challenge is every one ships with different firmware versions and no ability to update it. The color balance is inconsistent across M14d's and none of the built-in color profiles match any of my X1 Thinkpads.

Love this little monitor. Got it to use with my desktop and my laptop. With my laptop it is plug and play but I didn't have the right port in my PC so had to get a different cord, but it works great. Screen is vivid and perfect for what I need. Love it!
