Was promised would fit, does not!!!
Was promised by customer service this was universal for all ThinkStation & ThinkCentre's, but not compatible with ThinkCentre M70!!!!! They could have made it to fit, but the clip on front cosmetic strip (which has the eject button) is too wide for the slot in the PC front panel!!!

Close but not correct.
Although being shown as compatible with my ThinkStation SFF the mounting kit is for a full size desktop. I trimmed the front plate for width, but had to accept it projecting nearly 1/2 inch from the front bezel.

Too slim of an optical drive
I want to start by saying I own currently 4 Lenovo computers and my children each have one as well as my wife, as well as owning 3 additional laptops in the past, I buy only thinkpads and thinkstations. I would consider myself a fan of the company and its products. The slim optical burner with install kit was purchased for my p360 workstation. It looks nice enough and it does function to read discs and burn them but it is flimsy and the drive opens poorly and the face plate broke upon install due to poor fitment and a flimsy mounting method. I called in weeks ago an no one has got back to me about the issues. I have had 1 issue with service with my p51s workstation laptop which I solved on my own but have never had an issue otherwise

ThinkStation Slim 9mm DVD does not fit P3 Tower
Q&A on the Lenovo website indicated that this kit would fit the P3 Tower. It does not. It was retured to Lenovo. Customer service was easy to deal with on the return. No hassle.

Not compatible
Not compatible with the PC tower I purchased. Tried 3 different customer service reps and departments but nobody could tell me for sure if it was compatible or not and was sold this unit as if it would work.
