Voids warranty on PC
Was sold this for a tower PC , but was not told about additional hardware/installation kit required. Also was later told it will void the warranty on the PC if I install it myself. Customer service does not know the products. Returned everything.

Perfect upgrade for storage
Easy to clone to and upgrade the storage capacity of the laptop. You need an inexpensive SSD USB carrier to accomplish this. Clone, then swap. Viola! You have more capacity and a backup or portable storage device.

Great memory. Expensive
Memory is awesome and fast. But it is pricey compared to equally good brand named of others.

Good, but way too overpriced
Way too over priced. I can get a Samsung SSD with the same transfer speeds and double the storage for half the price. Or I can get the same storage for less than a quarter of the price.

Fast, high-capacity disk
Because of the supply chain issues, I was unable to "build my own" computer with 2 internal hard disks. Fortunately, the sales rep offered to sell me one that had all of the other specs I wanted and to order the second hard disk separately. I had to have a computer shop install it, but it is now working great and very fast.

Worth every penny when you really need your files!
Love my X1 and thought that working with cloud storage was enough but after a couple of instances where I needed some files for work and not having internet access, I decided to increase the local drive capacity.
With the online help from a Lenovo tech specialist, I got my new drive installed in no time, formatted and loaded with OS just like it came from the factory. Easy job given the great instructions and support from Lenovo.
Price was competitive and having the assurance that it fit my X1 was all the peace of mind needed.
