This latest version is slightly improved, with better luggage-grade fabric and sealed zippers. It will certainly travel better and collect less dirt. Not sure if the longevity will be as good with coated fabrics deteriorating over time, but if you use it daily and replace your bag every 4 years or so then this should at least stay in better shape for the short term. - laptop compartment has 2nd partition for external monitor, tablet, or folders - main storage compartment has full length zippers for full access - another tablet-worthy sleeve in the main compartment - front top pocket is well-designed - lower front pocket is not my fav since not gusseted, but great place for your power adapter. At the price, this is hard to beat and a go-to for anyone who needs a full-size bag for lots of gear or traveling/commuting.

From my understanding that a new model is releasing or going to be released, so I was a little surprised that the price point was still at that level. Secondly, it did come with an adapter, but there was no option to add a second charging adapter directly from the check out page and you have to search for one to make sure it is compatible. Final reviews are fantastic however and I am so glad I made the purchase. Crystal clear screen, quiet, cool and super fast at any program I throw at it. Keep up the good work Lenovo!!

However, without the laptop sleeve, it fits perfectly with a little more space. This bag is perfect for you if you like to travel, as it will protect your laptop from bumping into other people or hard surfaces. The bag has numerous compartments and some hidden parts that will accommodate all your accessories, such as the charger, notebooks, headphones, etc.

I was not disappointed with this bag. The compartment for the laptop is well padded. Makes you feel secure that your laptop will be protected by daily usage of your backpack. The compartment in the front is very generous in space. You can fit anything from a large water bottle, book, power charger, glasses, and even clothes. I was even able to fit my Meta Quest 3 carrying case inside there. The form of the backpack holds very sturdy. I would recommend this backpack for anyone that carrying a lot of things with their laptop.

The compartment needed for other materials is plenty big. Also, even when fully loaded up with stuff, the bag is well balanced which allows it to sit upright. I know that this last part seems like a small detail, but it is very nice to be able to reach directly into the bag instead of grabbing it off the floor first.

The zipper for the front pouch only has ONE SLIDER. The zippers for the other sections of the backpack have two sliders. The front pouch should have two sliders.

I also appreciate that the ThinkPad logo isn't garish and blends in well with the rest of the black-on-black design. I often find that business backpacks are too bulky or look ugly, but this bag is much more compact and solid than I expected. It's able to fit my Legion 7i with no issue despite its smaller size. I also think it's unlikely to start sagging like so many backpacks do over time. Very happy with my purchase.

Looks nice and well made, plus excellent design: despite its modest size as compared to a 18"-21" backpack, it has a large number of pockets and pouches. It is no exaggeration to say my entire "mobile office" fits in there and every little thing: USB thumb drives, sec keys, portable SSDs, cables, power supplies, noise cancellation headphones for air travel, passports, IDs, house and office keys, meds - everything has its own separate compartment. On top of that its shoulder straps are really long (I am really overweight) and I can still use this backpack as a backpack. 5 Stars overall.

Yes then can be still there but you can't put a extra battery bank or anything else because whatever can fall out. There should be a clip or buckle to hold in things other than a water bottle... even then a water bottle can fall out. Everything else about this bag is perfect. The laptops/tablet slot/pocket is perfect.

Ample room for my 16" P1 in the smaller 14" padded sleeve so I would imagine you could easily fit a 17" laptop in the main 16" laptop area. Main storage area has loads of room for a light jacket and water bottle or 2-3 college textbooks. Multiple pockets help to organize mice, external drives, power adaptors, pens, etc. Very happy with the purchase!

It features numerous compartments and provides excellent padding to safeguard your laptop during travel. However, it falls short in terms of size and functionality when compared to its predecessor. The fit for a 16-inch laptop is quite snug, which compromises its protective capabilities. Despite its smaller size, it remains a great option for the working professional.

This product allows me to safely and securely transport my new laptop to and from work so I never have to miss a beat when working on-the-go, at home, or at the locker. The backpack is lightweight and has plenty of room for my cables, mouse, SSD disk, and my travel headphones as well as my travel documents. Computer section is well padded and has room for my iPad mini as well. Even though I have a 14” laptop I went with the 16”.

Coming from an all things Lenovo mentality, Lenovo wasn't even on my radar but as i was browsing through the accessories i found this lovely bag and i took a chance on it. Oh my...how i love this bag. lots of pockets and clever compartments for all your computing accessories...the zippers are all waterproof and its very light compact after packing it with my 16" ThinkPad and all my must haves...and for a price under $100 dollars...you can't go wrong...Buy It!
