poor sells people knowledge
I did everything I could think of to communicate my needs for a laptop, Tried to build my own PC, still did not get what I wanted. Found your first sells lady to be clueless about my needs, Had to return the laptop she sold me. Have not found anyone to help get the laptop I need.

Sound and Camera Issues
There are driver issues in this laptop. I have had this for less than a month and it has had more problems than my Lenovo Legion that I had for more than a couple of years. The sound output gets changed to my monitor which does not even have speakers, whenever I connect it to HDMI port. Also, the inbuilt speaker does not even show up in the list of sound output devices. Second problem is the camera. I have had multiple instances where I used the camera for one google meet meeting, and as I join another, the camera shows error, and I can't use it.
I have been using Lenovos for my work and personal use for over 6 years now. This is the only model I have seen problems with.

Who's the best
Lenovo: When i think of Lenovo I know quality, functionality, and support automatically comes with the brand. This is why I have purchased many Lenovo only laptops throughout my 40-year career.
I have tried several others, but you dont get the high quality look and feel as you do with Lenovo.
And of course when i watch my favorite sport racing { motogp} what do i see as a sponser on one of my favorite bike riders Lenovo:

No USB-C Charging
Great in almost every way. Good performance and good thermal management, with a great display.
Lack of ability to charge and dock the laptop via USB-C and inability to enable that in BIOS is the main oversight.
It's a strange design choice in 2024.

Workstation for my CNC adventure
Lifetime Apple user, this is my first Windows computer (believe it or not!). Starting a CNC adventure, Windows was recommended with my programming. Great support, videos and of course an easy to navigate and use workstation! I am looking forward to learning, as I am constantly finding shortcuts etc. for an easier user experience. So far, very happy with my purchase!

I have 0 complaints about this laptop so far. Sometimes it can be a little slow to boot up after it is in sleep mode, but otherwise im very happy. Ive had it for about a month so who knows, but so far so good

Love my Lenovos. Great sale.
Easy to setup. Automatically transferred stuff from my older Lenovo to this one. Good all around computer, for gaming and basic work and internet. Fast. Loved my old Lenovo and only got this one because I couldn't update to Windows 11 and Microsoft was stopping support of Windows 10. Plus a great sale, so a great deal.

Right balance between portable and performance
If you need the right balance between portability and performance, would definitely recommend the p16v. This model is between a p16s and p16 and was pleasantly surprised by its thin/light form factor. The screen is also much better than a similarly priced Dell precision with high resolution and low blue light.
