Useless to me
The Lenovo sales person told me that this cable converts video via USB c to my USB a port.
It didn’t work though. Cable is useless to me.

unreliable bad cable
This cable came with my Thinkpad hybrid USB-C dock, but the displaylink dock would refused to wake up out of power savings yellow led. I thought the dock was the issue, but instead Replaced this thinkpad 03X7470 cable with another 10Gbps usb c cable and it now works perfectly

USB-C w/ A cable - very satisfied
This cable originally came with a Lenovo dock I purchased and I made the mistake of pulling it too hard one day and breaking it. I had connection trouble with using other USB-C cables (generic) so I finally caved and purchased this OEM cable. Works perfectly - no more stress. I will comment that it took about a week after purchase for the item to ship, not counting the days it took for the item to then arrive at my door.

Flexibility with Hybrid USB-C w/USB-A Cable
The Hybrid USC-C w/USB-A cable allows for flexibility to plug my iPhone 17 into a USB-C port. I use it to charge my phone from the USB-C port that's located on the side of my recliner. However, I can also use it with a USB-A plug-in adapter to charge my phone.

Customer Service worse than this cable
THIS CABLE IS EITHER DEFECTIVE OR POORLY DISIGNED! I think the connector does not extend far enough from the base to make contact on any device with a curved case.
It will only work on about half of the devices that work perfectly with any of my other USB-C cables.
I tried for over an hour to get an answer from Customer Service as to whether the cable may be defective or if there is a known design issue before ordering a replacement. After being transferred to the wrong area then being hung up on while being transfer to a different area I tried 3 more times to get a call beck call without success. Each time there was just dead air on the return call or who ever was on it voice would just keep dropping out.
This is not the first item I purchased from Lenovo but the first I had to use Customer Service for. Based on this experience I doubt I will ever purchase from Lenovo again

Cable came in sealed plastic pouch and was a perfect match with original cable supplied with my Lenovo Hybrid USB-C Docking Station. Original cable suffered a bend in the USB-C connector end from being stretched too far when connecting to my laptop. Replacement cable works perfectly and gives me peace of mind.

Good cable maximizes use of your ports
High-quality USB-C cable that lets you connect your USB-C device to either a USB-C or old-school USB port. Makes the transition to USB-C easier! Really like how the adapter is attached and won't get lost. Haven't had it for a long time, but it works with everything I've tried, including my X1 Carbon USB-C charger and a Yeti power pack with a USB port. Would like it even better if it was longer and included some USB adaptors (USB-C to mini USB and micro USB); that way it would be a universal connector kit for your briefcase. I still have portable scanners and printers that use USB-A, mini and micro connectors!
