Perfect for university engineering student
Bought this for my son for a Christmas and he loves it! It’s well constructed with lots of pockets and ability to store/organize things. It fits his computer well and makes it easy for him to attend classes across campus. It is also professional enough for him to take on co-op placements.

Not Too Bad of a Backpack
Overall, I've enjoyed this Lenovo backpack since I purchased it. It appears to be well made and relatively sturdy. It fits my Think Pad perfectly. The extra storage spots are really helpful as well. The only drawback is that it is a little smaller than I had anticipated based on the photo. As a result, there's often a snug fit when it's on your back. Other than that, there haven't been any issues thus far. I got it on sale so I am quite happy with the value for the price I paid. I would definitely recommend it but I would also suggest that if your budget allows, spend the extra money and go for the pro version.

Nothing special here. Many useful pockets and storage options. Color is somewhat disappointing as it appears as three different shades of black in the sunlight. Thinkpad logo is cheap looking. Heavier zippers and a chest strap would make this more suitable for daily use.

I have several other laptop backpacks. This Lenovo one is now my favourite. It is smaller which I thought would be a disadvantage, but in truth, it is the perfect size. I have more than enough room for my accessories as well as documents, files, and notebooks. I am giving away my other backpacks. I even use the X1 leather case with my laptop inside this one and there is more than enough room. Minimalistic design but it actually works.......

Great bag, does not attach to suitcase
I ordered this bag as it was pictured as having a strap on the back of it that would let you attach it to your suitcase, but unfortunately that was not actually a feature of the bag. I returned it and advised customer service of the error. Still giving 4 stars because otherwise the bag was great, tons of pockets and compartments which I love to keep things separated.

Feels great to wear. Has a pocket for the laptop and another for other binders/books. There's another pocket perfect for my glasses case and a front pocket for the smaller accessories. Unfortunately, water bottles such as a hydroflask may be too big to fit on the side compartment, but regular water bottles seem to fit well. Overall, I like the black/red simple clean look. Got this on sale and was worth the price.

Basic, but smartly designed, bag
The finish is a simple, though thick, nylon weave that I expect will last several years of rigorous use. The zippers are functional and operate smoothly. Pocket design promotes accessability to small and large items with little digging.
Overall, the bag looks much nicer online than in person, and can be better thought of as an ok "grade schooler" bag in finish. Similar to school bags, the padding is also not robust. The shoulder straps are thin and provide no cushioning for heavier loads. The body is also lightly padded. The padding seems merely capable of giving the bag shape when empty, rather than cushioning the contents. Also, the bottle holders are a bit too small for many popular brands.
Overall, if you need a spare "daily driver" bag, this is better than many other brands at this price point. But, for 2-4x as much you can get much nicer backpacks.
If I were stashing AV and computing equipment in backpacks for kit out portable offices or a tech library for staff, I might use a stack of these as the kit bag. But I don't think it will have a long life as my regular backpack.

I started using my bag 2 weeks ago and I am satisfied with the overall quality and brand design. I only have a comment about the front bag that is angled and the zipper is forced causing the zipper to be stressed out and might have a short life if I take good care.
The feature I was looking is the upper front bag to carry my proximity badge.

Just used this for a work trip and I am impressed with the amount of room that it has. The multiple pockets made it simple to separate my materials in order to find them easier. Definitely recommend.

Nice bag - great price!!
It was a very nice bag, however it wasn't for suitable for me. That doesn't mean it was not well made & looked great. It also fit nicely on your shoulders - very nice weight distribution.

It is compact, sturdy, and holds anything you need on a daily basis as a college student (Laptop, books, documents, etc.... It also has a surprisingly large amount of space when needed while still having the capacity to remain thin.

ThinkPad Essential Plus 15.6-inch Backpack
I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon 7th gen that I use for school. I also have another laptop that I use for work. This bag fits both the 14-inch X1 Carbon and the 15.6-inch work laptop. It also fits the "Think Vision M14" 14-inch display. I have a wireless mouse, charger, and headphones for each computer in the bag. I also have extra cables, power bank, cell phone charger, jump drives, pens and pencils, and a notebook for school in the bag. Even with all of this stuff in the bag there is still some space to put a few more things. When I first got the bag, it seemed like it was going to be way too small for all of my stuff, but it actually is the perfect size.

Very Versatile Backpack
Love this backpack. Not only is it perfect for my laptop, it's good for other stuff as well. Need to spare a notebook or two plus a charging cable and your pencils? It's got the space for that. The handle and pockets are easy to use, along with attaching your own trinkets adds that extra bit of personality you like. I don't have any stopping points with this at all, it's an overall resounding success from me!
