I use it for all my school work, as well as the main device for record keeping for the resutrant I own. Battery life is long (I use it heavily), laptop is quick with everythimg, including photoshop, illustrator, and Lightroom. Crazy lightweight, and fits in a small bag for work and school. If you’re thinking about this definitely go with it. Handles better than a MacBook in my opinion.

One minor comment would be the backlit keys are not very bright, for example compared to Yoga 920 I owned previously, on the others side, keys on this ThinkBook have better feel and feel better mounted. Screen is pretty nice, like the dimming option in 10% increments compared to the Yoga. Own it about a month, so time will tell more.

I'm able to have several internet tabs open and multiple programs running at the same time without any slow down or lag. The screen size is ample for on the go applications but I will be looking into getting a separate docking station and monitor for more convenience and ease.

Physical build is excellent and in general the internals are great for the money. Only downside is the network card which could do with an upgrade.

The i7 CPU and 500 GB Solid State Drive will ensure that this laptop can be powerful enough all through high school. Lenovo brand will ensure that it's sturdy enough for a teenager. The design is sleek, thin, and light weight. My son and I are surprised and impressed with the powerful video card that is included. This is an even better laptop than I was hoping for.

The ssd is amazing for boot up and power off times. One thing to know is that this laptop does not have an ethernet port. The speakers are above average. Rating 9/10 because of the no ethernet port, but thinking back the laptop is very thin. I don't think one would fit lol.

Very whiny to be honest, and it gets REALLY hot. But its fast as heck and the fingerprint login is flawless. Physical webcam off switch is cool. Wish it had an SD card slot, but I paid $730 for a $1600 computer so all said I’m happy as a clam.

The latter usually gives off heat and fan running. The 14s has fan too but it turns on periodically, though I did notice as the battery reduce capacity it does heat up more.The battery haven't shown to operate for 10 hours, it got 4 to 6 hours. I have made adjustments such as using ethernet cable instead of wifi and dimming down the screen to eye saver.

Any negatives that I can think of at the moment will probably evaporate as I learn to use the system, and especially Windows 10. There are some, but mostly result from my newness with the OS. For now the Win 10 OS is pretty much a pain in the stern side for me since I've migrated over from the MAC OS and have only hacking away at Win 10 for a couple of weeks.

It's small enough to travel with easily because it's so light, but has a large enough screen that working isn't a chore. In the past year I replaced approximately 20 computers at my place of business with Lenovo laptops. I think they're the best!

The fingerprint login feature is fast and accurate, the aluminum body feels strong with minimal flex, and the added security features are definitely appreciated. Also, the size and weight are great for traveling. My previous laptop felt like a cinderblock compared to this machine. I would definitely buy another if needed.
