I tried out the following monitors before this Lenovo. I tried the Alienware by Dell and so many others. This is by far the best monitor I have ever used.

I bought this for my work-from-home arrangement and it was a major improvement. It has helped me be more productive and I actually enjoy turning-on my screen and getting to work every morning.

This screen takes my gaming to a different level and has allowed me to be more effective with my time-motion of navigating between my work applications and video calls. The R45sw-30 enabled me to gain room on my desk by giving me the ability to remove the footprint of three standalone 24-inch monitor. Setup and connections did not take much of an effort and was fully functional within 15 minutes of taking out of the shipping box.

Initially I had an issue where it blacked out fkr a second or 2 every 1- 10 minutes when in a game. I was using the HDMI at first switchted cords to the display port using a display port to USB-C thunderbolt cord and that fixed the issue. Probably somethig with the laptop or HDMI cords and not the monitor. This monitor replaced 2 32" curved displays and I'll never go back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Killer Screen! Great monitor, lightweight, is the width of two side by side monitors, has a cool taper to a curve at the edges and great colour. I wish it was a bit taller as it seems shorter than most curved and I wish it was 4k. But overall amazing especially with the dock built in!

I love the ability to choose from many different sizes of window tabs and it makes my bookeeping, website and marketing work so much easier. I also find i no longer lean forward to see better and th esound is great with built in speakers. i do not watch movies or play games, i use for work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great monitor! I don't play computer games, so I can't comment on that area. What I needed was a wide monitor screen so as not to have to cycle through multiple windows while doing my work. The Legion R45W-30 monitor allows me to have up to four windows open at 5120 x 1440 resolution, giving excellent clarity for reading and processing text. My only wish would be for a monitor with even more of a curve so I wouldn't have to move in my chair to see the windows on the far left and right more easily. But I haven't seen such monitors on the market yet and the text is clear if I move my upper body to the left or right. To work optimally, ensure you have the right cords to connect this monitor to your desktop or laptop. The monitor came with two different cables, but neither were the right type to connect to my laptop. I needed DP to Type C Thunderbolt, or Ultra High Speed HDMI to HDMI. I had to place a separate order to get what I needed. Now that I have it, things are working well, with the refresh rate set to 144Hz for best color and stability. The manual (available online) gives the specifications for high quality, smooth connections. If you ignore this, you likely won't have reliable performance and may even encounter difficulties in getting the monitor to work at all. Next to the manual, I used AI for suggestions to get optimal performance using the various options and software available for fine tuning.
