Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mini PC ging on the next Level Lenovo Style. Always buy Lenovo laptops and stand by their service and this is no exception the Legion Go exceeded my expectations in such a small form factor. I was in the market for a handheld gaming device like a steam deck or Rog Ally but the Legion go caught my eye with the huge screen and the extra usb c as well as the kick stand and I cant tell you how much a game changer the kick stand is not like the bootleg one you get with the ROG Ally this one is sturdy and well put. I recently updated the bios and graphic drivers to the latest one and boy the fps is way better. Im super pressed with the device since i have a ps5 xbox series x a 4090 pc so gaming wise im good but i wanted a small device that i can bring on a small buisness trip or vacation where all i need is a hdmi cable a wireless mouse and keyboard and BOOM you mini gaming pc is with you on vacation (the wife ir girlfriends will not appreciate that lol sorry ladies) but serious this is the way to go i commend Lenovo on their first well put outing in this and will def get the next legion go when that comes out in the future cause im a fan of Lenovo warrenties customer service and products. Cant say any more but buy it and pair it with a xbox elite 2 and your in a game changing situation when laying in bed at night or use it as a mini pc as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, until you consider the shipping policy. The only complaint i have is Lenovo's shipping policy. I can understand that they deny changing the address after purchase, to protect customers from fraud. Even so there are other ways for accessibility and a more secure confirmation other than not providing the service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handheld with a lot of potential and growing pains The Legion go is a huge entry into the handheld gaming market by Lenovo. Unlike the other hand held on the market, it really sets out to differentiated itself by being a huge disruptor, both in terms of price and form factor. It’s right up there with the ROG Ally, in terms of specs, if not slightly better in some areas, also differentiating itself by doing things outside the box, such as the switch like removable controllers. The screen is extremely vibrant and before the steam deck OLED came out, was definitely the best on the market. it’s definitely one of the biggest selling points for the handheld. That being said, there are some initial growing pains, the software experience with legion space still has some kinks to work out. It needs much more refinement that it will, hopefully in the future. Overall, after having had the steam deck, and the ally, previously, the Legion go is my for sure, go to handheld PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great handheld gaming machine! So far this mighty handheld has played every game I could throw at it with very few hiccups. The device feels sturdy and the large touchscreen is BEAUTIFUL, with fantastic color and a high refresh rate. Like most Windows-based handhelds, battery life will always be the weakest aspect, but there are a few tweaks you can do to somewhat alleviate the issue while still keeping gaming performance high. Easiest is to change OS power mode to "Efficiency" in the Legion Space app for ALL power profiles, including Performance profile. The Z1 Extreme is a mobile processor that was built to sip energy on idle and ramp up only when necessary. Leaving OS power mode on "Performance" or even "Balanced" is giving the processor extra watts that it doesn't need, so changing it to "Efficiency" means the processor will use no more watts than necessary. This will also free up power for the GPU side, which DOES need extra watts when playing intensive AAA games. Another tweak is to avoid the temptation of using a full 30 watts when creating a custom power profile, not unless you like your Legion Go to feel extra toasty with the fan on full blast. Turning it down to 20 or 25 watts will keep your Legion Go from overheating while extending the battery life in exchange for 1 or 2 less fps in-game. You can find many more tweaks online to further maximize battery performance, but these tweaks alone will allow for longer gaming on battery over the usual default settings on this great handheld.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legion Go is not worth the hype. Controller material is made cheaply, and while gaming on the lenovo legion go, it tends to have frame rate issues causing the games not to run smoothly even when it is over clocked and has fan speed maxed while display is at the lower settings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Awesome. Almost perfect. I am throughly enjoying the Legion Go. Great graphics. The screen size is best for playing AAA games. The lighted accents are stylish. I do wish the Go was easier to update. There are many menu's to go through to update. Should be one touch. Im sure it will be updated at some point by LegionSpace the UI.

I’ve had the ROG Ally and steam deck, and the legion go is in a league of its own as far as handhelds go. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good choice with multiple uses... I find this has versatility, as it is not only intended for gaming, but also can be used as a full Windows 11 computer. The screen is very bright and sharp with good colors. Touch is very responsive. The ram is shared, and setting to 8Gb in the bios helps game play. Also, set resolution down a notch can help with frame rate. Trying to be a Windows gaming console has drawbacks. The biggest issue is simply that most Windows games on Steam require a keyboard and mouse inputs. There are only some that are fully compatible for controllers, and others with limited controller support. So for full functionality, you must use an external keyboard / mouse. The sound output from the tiny speakers is poor - the sound quality needs to be improved. Using headphones is the alternative. Battery life is limited. If gaming, 2 to 3 hours is about the limit - be prepared to be near an outlet for longer periods of time. I also found, as others, that this generates a lot of heat. I can see where the Micro SD card could be "fried". I set the fans to a higher level in hopes to not encounter this. Frame rates were certainly not as good as a higher powered computer or console, but overall, I found games to be mostly playable - although with lower FPS. Overall, the console can play games, and double as a "mini laptop" on the go, and if found on sale, could be an entertaining device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top performance, bad software The device is powerful and controls are comfortable, but the software quality is just so bad. My SD card would only work after reboot and until it goes to sleep. The Legion shell is slow. The extra buttons of the controller are not recognized by most controller software (Steam, reWASD, etc.) and are plainly useless. Lack of web camera is also a poor choice, to take a video call you need to pick up a phone or a laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My New Favorite Gaget The Legion Go is a slow starter as it takes some time getting use too, but once you are fully up and running this device is fantastic. The updates keep coming and this thing keeps gettting better and better. The only real con is the battery life when gaming which is to be expected, but everything else has me hooked. I now find it hard to even go back to my mancave to get on my gaming pc or xbox series x due to the performance and flexibility of my Legion Go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Windows handheld from a major PC maker I have dabbled with handheld PCs for a while and bought the ROG Ally earlier this year but sold it because of the SD card issues. In stepped Lenovo with the Legion Go and I am in love. The screen is big, beautiful, and vivid and it has a lot of nice features and a working SD card reader. Though Lenovo has been very active with the community and the software has improved by leaps and bounds in the nearly two months I've had it, I deducted a star because the launch software was rough and it is clear that Lenovo rushed the Go out for the holidays. Long and short, this is an excellent handheld with power and good build quality, and it's the best option for those who want a Windows alternative to the Steam Deck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best handheld gaming PC on the market right now This handheld is great. The screen size is magnificent. While it would have been nicer to have a OLED display, this display is still quite nice. The only real negative is the speakers, as they face upwards and don't have a lot of range. It is currently the best handheld gaming PC on the market right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Amazing Legion go experience I’m more of PC game but this Legion go handheld PC change my perspective about handheld gaming PC. I’ve seen other handheld gaming PC but so far Legion go surpassed all of them with the amazing screen size and gameplay without lagging. All the AAA games that I currently have on my Legion Go are all running flawlessly. Like Alan Wake 2, Ready or Not, Red Redemption 2, Far Cry 6 and few others. I wouldn’t recommend no other handheld gaming PC other Legion go. FYI my legion go device is called The Beast. Thanks to the Lenovo team who put this device together ????????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Software nightmare Nice device unfortunately I wouldn’t know how well the legion played games because it never played any games. Every time I tried to play a game it said the graphics drive was out of date, but when I update it it says it is up to date. So i finally just called Lenovo customer support. Turns out my device was MISSING key software and programs. After 3 hours of installing everything missing and letting the it guy take over the device he still can’t figure it out. It guy says he needs to reboot his system and will call back. An hour or so later I got an email saying they tried to call back and there was no answer, I received no calls, and to call back if I have anymore questions. I got GHOSTED by the it guy. I returned the device that night, which was at least a fairly easy process. The it guy called the next day asking if I had anymore questions. He didn’t answer my first question but I said nope sent it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good but could be better. This is the computer I was looking for to replace my laptop. It's more portable and very powerful. The screen is big enough for my poor eyes to see clearly. My only complaint is the way Lenovo has decided to update drivers, especially the graphic drivers. This is the first computer I've had with AMD graphics that didn't allow the AMD Adrenaline software manage driver updates. Also, most of the other drivers are very old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Machine can run everything I need it to run. I’ve been using the Lenovo Legion Go for a couple of weeks now, and I am beyond impressed. As a gamer who’s always on the go, this device is a dream come true. It combines the power of a gaming PC with the portability of a handheld console, and it absolutely delivers. First off, the build quality is fantastic. It feels solid in hand without being too heavy, and the detachable controllers give it that Switch-like flexibility, but with way more power under the hood. The display is sharp and vibrant, making games look incredible, especially on a 144Hz screen. Even high-end games run smoothly with minimal lag, which is something I didn’t expect from a handheld. Battery life is decent, considering the hardware it’s packing. With less demanding games or when turning down the settings, I can easily get a few solid hours of play. The cooling system is surprisingly effective too – it doesn’t get nearly as hot as I expected during long gaming sessions. I also love the versatility. You can dock it and use it as a mini-PC for work or streaming, which is a nice touch. The performance is top-tier for the price, and I can’t emphasize enough how much I love the larger screen compared to other portable gaming devices. Overall, the Lenovo Legion Go is a must-have for any serious gamer who wants to take their PC gaming anywhere. It’s powerful, versatile, and well worth the investment. Lenovo really knocked it out of the park with this one! This review captures the enthusiasm of someone who enjoys the Legion Go’s balance of power and portability, with some practical notes on its build, performance, and versatility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handheld for around the house or on the Go The Legion Go is an amazing little handheld, I've used other handheld gaming devices in the passed but this by far has been my favorite. It runs games very well with a little bit of tinkering in the settings. I've played everything from Dave the Diver to BLOPS6 without any issue. It works great in handheld but really good in a dock when you can upscale. My only concern is it you're using it on the go for an extended period of time you'll definitely need a power bank to go with it. The batteries on the device don't last very long due to the screen. Again you can adjust settings to get more battery life. Overall I'm very happy with my Go and will more than likely be picking up a Legion Go 2

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1.5yrs and 2 Switches later I owned a XBOX Series X, sold it cause I knew I wanted the LeGo. Own a NS2; completely forgotten about because lenovo knows how to update. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine with a Few Quirks I'll preface by saying this: I love my Legion Go, I use it all the time either just for gaming in bed or for longer lunch breaks at work, I take it to the laundromat and in terms of portability it can't be beat. From a hardware perspective, this machine is sublime, and in spite of the specs it has surprisingly competent battery life if you turn down the settings and still get very respectable performance. That being said, the machine does have a few quirks on the software side that as of writing this haven't been ironed over and stick out like a sore thumb. Firstly, the left/right click buttons do nothing outside of FPS mode, and there's no toggle to make this happen. It sucks when I'm browsing with the trackpad and just cannot actually "click" on things. There's oodles of buttons on the back, too, and for some reason they are *not* programmable in Legion Space like they really ought to be. That combined with the lack of a Home/XBOX button, the simultaneous excess yet lack of buttons feels clunky and frustrating at times. A handheld console should be the invisible framework upon which you get to interact with the digital world, but for the Legion Go these inconveniences make that membrane very obvious when you have to actively circumvent what feel like obvious faults in design. It's a powerful machine and one I greatly appreciate having, but Lenovo really needs to take care to add more functionality to this to keep up with what's becoming an increasingly viscous market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best handheld The Legion Go is a great machine that will carry you into the handheld gaming scene for many many years to come. I have had mine for almost 2 years now and this thing has become my favorite handheld to date. The OLED screen is awesome and AMD does not disappoint at all. There is plenty of ram and storage is roomy. At first my complaints were battery life and size but that was only at first. What you have to realize is that this is no Gameboy, you can throw anything at this handheld and with a few tweaks of the settings it can handle it as well as any desktop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely can’t Recommend Enough! The Legion Go is great! Ive been wanting something to play my computer games on the go or just in my living room. I’ve tried the steam link that came out I’ve even tried game streaming but the lag kind of makes it a miss for me personally. The legion go has been great in being something I can use in my living room or during my lunch at work. I can also use it for streaming movies as a tablet and many other computer task. Of course if I want the full graphics of any video game though my desktop is the way to go but this legion go is definitely a bridge for when I just want to game on the go. I can’t want for the next generation of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Device! I am a casual gamer, mostly on consoles, but I have been eying a handheld gaming device for a while. When I saw the large screen and the power of the Legion Go, I made the plunge. This device is awesome to use. I love the large screen and power of the Go. I am playing games like Assassin's Creed Mirage, Starfield, Tomb Raider in high settings and it runs smoothly. I will say, compared to a Nintendo Switch, for example, the Go does require some PC savoy to update the drivers and tweak the settings to make it run at its best. However, all of this information can be found easily online with tutorial videos and articles. It feels great in the hands. It is slightly on the heavy side but it does not distract or effect gameplay for me. I just love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Lenovo Legion Go Review When I first unbox this device it was the best thing ever. Before, I was using my Lenovo Yoga book to play most of my game which I know it was intended for gaming but it ran some games smoothly. I decided to save up and purchase the Legion Go instead of the Steam Deck or the Rog Ally because it had some much potential and power and different tools to enchant my gaming experience. I highly recommend saving for the Legion Go because it is the greatest gaming handlend on the market right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! The Legion Go is an excellent gaming platform. It is well thought out, ergonomic, and easy to use. I don’t use the built in gaming hub because I prefer to use Steam and Epic for gaming but that is simply a personal preference. Performance is incredible and has run every game I’ve throw at it without any issues. The only cons I’ve come across are that it is a bit weighty but not so much that it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient. Also, adjusting the dead space in the joysticks has been a little frustrating even setting them to 0 dead space. I’ve corrected this with joystick caps and some soft precision rings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving My Lenovo Legion Go - A True Portable Power I absolutely love my Lenovo Legion Go! Let’s dive into what makes this device stand out. Build and Design: The screen is stunning, offering vivid colors and sharp details that make gaming a pleasure. The detachable controllers might seem like a gimmick to some, but I find them incredibly useful, especially in FPS mode where I can play in a laptop-like setup without the bulk of a keyboard. To enhance comfort during extended gaming sessions, I added third-party Comfort Grips around the controllers. These grips have made a noticeable difference, providing better ergonomics and support. Accessory Wishlist: More first-party accessories would be a great addition. Specifically, a keyboard that fits between the two Strike controllers would enhance the gaming experience, combining traditional typing with intuitive gaming controls. Additionally, a USB-C charging port on the keyboard to simultaneously charge the controllers would be a major plus. Performance: The AMD Z1 Extreme APU is a powerhouse, handling everything I throw at it with ease. However, it’s important to note the battery life doesn’t compare to less powerful devices like the Steam Deck—this is the trade-off for its robust performance. Software and Updates: Running Windows 11 on 64-bit architecture allows for excellent game compatibility, particularly with AAA titles. A huge fan on the top does a decent job of keeping the device cool. Make sure to update your drivers and software (there are helpful YouTube tutorials for setup). I highly recommend enabling integer scaling in the AMD Adrenaline software to balance game performance and visual quality, especially at 800p. Future Hopes: I hope Lenovo will push for AMD to support vertical display orientation in their AFMF (frame generation software), as there’s currently no reason it shouldn’t work on this device. Integration with AMD’s software would allow for better full-screen gaming performance for specific games. Support and Extras: Updates have been slow, presumably as Lenovo collaborates closely with AMD to enhance software compatibility, particularly for the AFMF feature. Despite this, the device has been an excellent purchase—did I mention it even comes with a case? In conclusion, the Lenovo Legion Go is a fantastic device for anyone seeking powerful gaming performance on the go. While battery life is a compromise, the overall functionality and future potential make it well worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not happy with the Go it's overrated This was given to me as a gift. Excited that when I travel I could keep up with my games. ESO specifically. Sadly, it is a disappointment, after sending the first one in for repairs multiple times and receiving it back only to find the same issues still present, Lenovo replaced the device. This one does the same exact thing as the old one. It doesn't load ESO and when it does it's boxed pixels. Updated and downloaded all drivers and updates. Still has issues. Not happy with the Go. Wouldn't recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost, but not quite yet. Quick breakdown: 1) the screen is gorgeous but it's a vertical screen set to horizontal so you're going to run into some problems with some games 2) the controls are ok. They'll be better when you can fully map them like other handhelds that are named after what happens when water gets really hot. Right now you have to install a 3rd party app to get that level of control 3) Windows is cool, but it makes this a handheld computer and less of a gaming system. 4) Legion Space is really bad right now. It's getting better but I disabled it and boot into the gaming platform that is what happens when water gets really hot. 5) the controllers have pretty bad ergonomics. They dig into the heels of my hands and reaching the triggers and bumpers is kind of a pain. The Hall Effect joysticks are nice but they're too soft for my liking. Face buttons are good. The Legion buttons are bad and start and select buttons are all awkward and we need a way to completely rebind them all. 6) the system is quite heavy 7) heat isn't too bad 8) performance is mostly good with a few games working weird. There's options to change TDP and fan and graphics and such so it's getting better. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wasn't a tinkerer or a Windows user right now. Maybe soon?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device, software needs work though They hit it out of the park with this one... mostly. Thankfully the little annoyances can be either patched with the software, or 3rd party resolved with the grips and controllers. Likes: Beautiful screen (Y U no OLED?), large screen (cant stress how much better this is with the extra 1.8") detachable controllers, very fast, kickstand is awesome. Has a touchpad on the right. FPS mode with mouse is neat. Full thunderbolt eGPU support, dont need Asus' overpriced proprietary cards. Dual USB C. System works extremely well docked as a standalone computer. The MicroSD card slot actually works. uses 2243 NMVe, easier to get larger cards (just make sure they only have chips on ONE side.) Hall effect sticks Works GREAT to stream from moonlight at full 1600p @ 144 Hz. Dislikes: legion space is hot garbage, slow, awkward, bloated, and lacking - just a promotional storefront in the way of the settings panel. We dont need another launcher, just a device-specific management program. Hopefully they polish it up. No VRR, display is portrait mode. Controllers have the buttons too close to the thumbsticks on the right side. The legion space button and settings button are right where the menu and back buttons should be, and those are in an awkward place on the left controller - accidentally launching legion space when you meant to pause suuuuuucks, FPS mode is a solution in search of a problem - really need to use a 3d-printed cover for the rest of the controller so it doesnt hurt. Edges of the controllers dig in to your palms. Overall, this is the handheld to get in 90% of cases. Steam deck is too slow, ROG Ally is half baked. Go for this, it's more future proof. Once the 3rd party accessories start coming out, it will be even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Form Factor is great, software needs work. Loving the hardware, the software needs work. Replaced the OS into steamOS and it's a better experience. Gaming on the go with steamOS Is much better than windows due to better Sleep and Wake. You can pause the game and come back to it anytime. In windows this causes the game to crash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thumbs up ?? I love the Legion Go. I previously owned the Rog Ally Extreme. Though I thought it was a solid device. I hated how loose the analogs were and how cheap it felt in my hands. The legion Go feels premium. It has an awesome display. The analog sticks feel great and being able to remove the controllers and use them in fps mode gives it more versatility. Its an awesome device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect All in One Handheld for Me This is the perfect handheld set up for me. First of all, I love the fact I don't have to go out of my way to purchase a hard-shell case. I can run many modern games with ease and at a frame rate I find acceptable. I'm Windows through and through, so using it was extremely straightforward. I use it more than my PC that sit right next to it. I'd highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ARE YOU THINKING OF BUYING IT?……?? Words cannot describe how amazing this device is! Sooo I had a Steam Deck and it was okay but it bothered me that I couldn’t play all my games. So I purchased the Lenovo Legion Go from Best Buy 1TB version and I have to say I’m blown away! I wish I could go back and time and give this to my younger self in 2005 to play World of Warcraft so amazing. To be able to play MW3 butter smooth is amazing! I love how I can adjust all the settings if I want to extend battery like such as the TDP and resolution quickly. If your on the fence or not I’d grab one as you can always return it….but you know what I guarantee it that you won’t!!! Happy gaming everyone XxMrSteelexX

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great handheld. It does just about everything I could ask from a handheld gaming PC. I don't have many complaints The removable handles are nice, but attaching and removing them is a little clunky, and I wish that it was a little more reliable for pausing and resuming. For me, handheld gaming is nice because you can just pick up and play and pause as needed, but sometimes the games I had on when putting the legion go to sleep will not be running when I wake it up.

Boy was I pleasantly suprised, this unit has a beautiful display and interface and everything I've thrown at it runs like a dream. And because its windows 11 I can run not just steam, but xbox pc pass and blizzard and other 3rd party launchers. Its a portable gaming unit that can also double as your main pc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rad Rides and Wicked Vibes: The Lenovo Legion Go The Lenovo Legion Go is a total game-changer, dude! It packs a wicked 8.8-inch display that’s all crisp and vibrant, perfect for catching every detail in your games. And get this, it's got a rad FPS mode that flips a controller into something like a mouse—super slick for blasting through shooters. It's light enough to tote around, but heads up, the battery life’s a bit short, so keep a charger handy if you're out and about. Also, if you're big on sound, you might wanna grab your headphones because the built-in speakers are just alright. Plus, it runs Windows 11, so it's like having a mini PC for all your stuff. Super cool for gaming on the go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended for the big screen alone Such a great device! The LegionSpace software is probably the weakest part of this whole package. As a gaming device it meets all my needs. I usually play indie games or older (mid 2010s) PC games and this works great for me. The best part is the gigantic screen, which helps a lot as a late 30s person with bad eyes. I usually use it in tabletop mode, which is something I never used on a Nintendo Switch, just because it's so easy with the big screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product but needs revisions for more people I gotta start by saying how much I do love the legion go and mostly it's amazing big screen. To get to the main point I would say this is the best handheld device if they could create multiple sets of attachable controllers for each person's specific wants. I want controllers with the least amount of buttons possible, only triggers that's it. This handheld would be perfect if they ordered that

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo should explain things I think the Go is great, but only after reading all the tweaks on Reddit. There's no intro video on the device, no tips or anything, no automatic downloads of updates. You shouldn't have to go to the help section of a huge website to see if there's any updates for this device. Now after learning how to do that and getting into BIOS to change VRAM (somewhat intimidating to some), it's running great and very impressive device!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice but temps It's definitely a fun handheld console It's fairly comfortable to use and easy but I will say that ssd Temps get wildly out of control during heavy downloads not as much during gameplay but still alittle uncomfortable with it also many ps5 and series x titles will need to be lowered to medium possibly some settings on low but it will run most at 50+ fps so If you want to play your pc games on the go I do recommend it just might want to invest in a cooling pad and possibly a heatsink as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not exactly perfect, but then again, what is? Not perfect, but then again, what is? It seems the handheld gaming platform is the new space for companies to battle. Early pioneers are the Steamdeck with their new OLED offerings, Asus with the ROG Ally X, and of course; the Lenovo Legion Go. The Ryzen Extreme platform does well in playing many of the AAA titles available. The price is decent, when you can get it on sale, it is even better. I recommend not worrying too much about the initial drive capacity, unless you have the extra cash and/or the 1TB is on sale. You can easily pick up a 2TB 2230 (this uses the less common 2242 size NVME SSD Mkey drives) with speeds up 4x4 Gen (7000MB/s) supported, a quick trial ware drive cloner, and the adaptor for 2230 to 2242, and about 30 mins, including the time to clone the drive and you can have a 2TB gaming machine. Invest about $700 and you can have a EGPU to get the Legion Go to high resolution and high frame rate for AAA titles like Black Myth Wukong. Pros: Very versatile. 8.8” screen destroys even the OLED offerings from Valve. Windows 11 makes the OS familiar. Very little bloatware installed. Games work well with tweaking and tuning out of the box, Legion Space as the launcher and control software has finally been updated to be usable. Can also be used to get some work done, if you like. Paired with a EGPU, Keyboard and Mouse, a monitor, this can replace a work laptop. WIFI 6E has excellent connection and speeds (downloaded my Steam titles at over 1Gb/s ). FPS mode or the use of the detachable controllers as a mouse is a unique and innovative experience when playing FIrst Person Shooters. Cons: Battery life at 49.5mah is barely acceptable, on passionate gaming sessions, expect to plug in or use a battery pack that will have PD capabilities of at least 65 watts. Gets very hot and/or loud. Lenovo needs to figure out the cooling for this system to push it to its limits without having to bare with a mini gale force turbulence hitting you at a distance of about 6 inches. Sound. This is the what the heck moment for this device. Lenovo majorly screwed up this category in every way. It sounds like it assigned the noob to design the acoustics of this system. Not only did Lenovo give the Legion Go very underwhelming drivers that are one inch or two inches, but they decided to fire these minuscule speakers upward and away from the user and next to the fan. The results are what you expect, barely useable audio. However, pairing it with the glasses, sold separately, would not only cure this issue, it will also give an immersive gaming experience. That or you can simply pair even the cheapest set of Bluetooth earbuds or headphones or even wired ones as this, unlike mobile phones, decided the 3.5mm audio jack is still worth keeping, to get audio somewhat acceptable. You may want to get a TPU skin on the device to help soften the hard plastic edges for ergonomics. Albeit, the Legion Go is packaged with a carrying case, the case, though large, was not large enough to pack the charger and accessories; you will need to keep those in your backpack if you really want to game on the go. Bottomline: if you want to be an early adaptor to the new gaming craze of portability and play AAA titles, as well as emulators, etc. the large screen of the Legion Go is second to none. It performs as well as, if not better, especially after the recent BIOS update and Legion Space updates, than the Asus ROG Ally X. It easily demolishes the Steamdecks. However, this is a new space in gaming and it only just begun. Companies are pushing out products soon, but if you want in on the fun, the Legion Go won’t disappoint.

The controllers are great and although some might think that they are huge, they fit nice in my hands. I've been able to play most of my pc games on it. I haven't tried all of my library yet. I would suggest you go with the 1 TB Legion Go, only because today's games are huge. You can add a micro sd card so that really helps. It is on the heavier side but its well balanced. I havent had any issues when it comes to the weight.

I love the overall design of it and have beefed it up with 2 storage cards, a protector for device and screen, and a OneX Gpu. I took the Gpu off and decided to let the Legion Go develop itself and have been impressed by the standalone support it has evolved to verses when I first got it a year ago. The software has gotten better but I was already sold on the appearance of it and am a proud owner of the Legion Go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice handheld but not without its flaws The Legion Go is a great device but not without its faults. The screen is large, and beautiful. It's powerful enough and designed well but then the shortcomings start to reveal. The battery life could be better. It's also unclear how to get the thing to go to sleep sometimes, so it may end up staying on and too hot when in the bag I keep it in. The detachable controllers seemed better in theory, and they were what initially drew me into the device. In practice, I can't say I've ever really used them. The controllers aren't super comfortable to hold long-term. And the device is just a little too big and cumbersome to be as handheld as you might think. Overall, I have high Lenovo brand loyalty and will continue to buy their products versus others but the Legion Go very much feels like a first gen device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable PC gaming really is here! I have used this device almost every day for a few months. The only downsides I can find is overall battery life which isnt a problem for me as I play plugged in. I play Cyberpunk2077, Halo Infinite and Diablo 4 on it. All running on low settings but getting a solid 60 FPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game system and good high-end laptop I love this laptop. Yes, I said laptop. I use it for all the same things that my previous Lenovo Legion was used for. I either use my Logitech keyboard and trackball (which can switch between multiple systems) or I use the touchscreen keyboard and track pad. The dock let's me hook it up to my TV or work monitors (I work from home). The detachable controllers are great for me (I have big hands). My nephew has the ROG Ally and it is too small for my hands, and the screen is too small for my failing eyesight. I only give it 4 stars because the controllers stop working in my games sometimes. The system can still use them. They need to create their own drivers and stop using the default XBox drivers as a base. It handles Starfield amazingly well. I thought it might have issues since I wasn't sure about how it handles shared memory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gaming on th Legion Go I love the screen size and the full gaming capabilities of the Legion Go. I have been able to play 99% of my games so far using it. For those that do not support controllers, I just use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to play. I have played Steam games, Xbox Game pass installed and cloud games, EA launched, GoG games and Amazon games. The only higher graphic game I have had issues with and cannot run is Hogwarts Legacy. However, BG3, Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft (retail and classic using my addons) run beautifully. I still want to install and try Guild Wars 2, Lost Ark and New World. I have already recommended the Go to my brothers.

To say the truth, the specifications of Lenovo Tab M8 HD aren't the best , but for its price the are fully acceptable. The size of tablet is confortable enough to watch different videos or doing some tasks. For its price I guess, it is one of the best option, people could get.

Games run great, its got lies of pie running amazing, the controllers feel great and I love how you can change the led lights colors on the joysticks. Keep in mind that not all pc games are controller compatible, however you can easily use steam to use them with games that are not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Device for Portable Gaming The Legion Go is preferred by me because I love handheld Devices. No issues of overheating and not disabling your SD Card slot. I have a mini PC and a great gaming machine wrapped into one. I can play better games than the Nintendo switch in a handheld on the go. You will need to have a high watt output power bank if traveling, I carry a Anker 100watt output and 240W USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Braided Cable. The device is still receiving updates to make it better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Analog Stick Issues I like my Lenovo Legion GO but i don't love it. I had the Legion go for about a month now. The machine is powerful and I like how compact it is yet big enough for great experience on the go. My problem is the controller. There are issues with how it responds, analog sticks have calibration issues. It is very hard to move the characters in the video games I play. Stick just does not work good. Other than this, pretty cool and powerful machine. I hope this issue with the controller can get fixed with future updates. I have to give it 3 stars at this time, because I mainly bought it for gaming, and this has been very frustrating to me. I like the way controllers feel and don't want to have to hook it up to a different controller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honest experience with Lenovo Legion Go This is sincerely the best handheld. I have a back problem and I have been struggling a lot to find the best way to game while laying down, this has done more than me than any doctor lol! I am so happy I purchased it, the performance is great, the colors are vibrant, the lightning is perfect, the controllers are really comfortable.I JUST LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT!!!! The only weaknesses that it has are the speakers weirdly placed in top, making the sound to dissipate away, instead of them facing to the front and the weight of it, makes the hands ache, but this should be because I am addicted and play like 3-5 hours straight xD. This does not make me love it less tough.

Legion software allows to control tdp and most settings you'll need. Included travel case is well built. Easy to open to clean. Cons: Heavy. Battery life is ok. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Legion Go The Lenovo Legion Go is a great device for gaming enthusiasts who are looking for a portable gaming experience. The device has a bright display, detachable controllers, and a sturdy kickstand. However, it is a bit bulky and has a high resolution that won’t work for all games. If you’re looking for a gaming handheld device that is similar to the Nintendo Switch, the Lenovo Legion Go is definitely worth considering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great handheld The legion go is one of the best handhelds you can buy at the moment. It can play a vast amount of games, from AAA to simple pixel games easily. The one major draw back about this device is the battery, but all handhelds suffer this issue and is that they don’t last very long at full power. The controls are good. The sound is decent if you EQ the speakers to your liking. It’s not overly heavy, and has a nice lcd screen. If you play at home a lot, it’s a great purchase. Not so much if you try to rely on the battery for long usage. 8/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive device that stands out. Excellent product. The screen is bigger than other handhelds, the controllers are nice and meaty for a good grip and the performance is better than I thought it would be coming from another handheld. I'm also impressed with the communication and updates for legion space and drivers. If I had one negative it would be that the screen could have been native landscape. I have had a few issues where it rotates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect game streaming powerhouse but... Basically a mini-pc with joysticks and other gaming focus needs. Used it as a moonlight game streaming client and it's perfect. The only imperfection is the whiny fan, where there's a high pitch noise at low speed and the default fan curve is too loud for a silent stream machine. Would give it a 5 stars if they could fix those two issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A work of art in progress. Great gadget. It's basically a super-sized, Switch running on Windows. The controllers have surprisingly good battery life, the kickstand feels sturdy and durable and that screen is really something you have to behold. Not as heavy as I thought it would be and the battery life is good enough that I can play Alan Wake 2 during my commute home with no issues. There have been some growing pains to be sure but its been getting frequent support from Lenovo so it's definitely more user friendly than when I first purchased it a week after initial release. I've had no issues playing anything I want on this behemoth. Absolutely no regrets. I can't stop singing it's praises.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the best but not the worse. I give it 3 stars because It did play older game titles. But when it came to newer title games people boasted how it well it handles them. I had nothing but issues even putting the settings of the game in the lowest i could set them. Honestly I think the biggest issue was RAM. If it had more than 16gb of ram it would have ran better. I hope the Legion Go 2 has more than 16. Storage upgrade should have been made user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legion Go Review The Legion Go is a great machine. The main purchase for the device was the specs, being more powerful than the competition was a huge reason, along with the switch-like removeable controllers. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Well what can I say about the go? It exceeded my expectations and is an amazing device ! The screen is beautiful and at 500 nits, it’s perfect . People say it’s not bright enough and I wonder? I’m maxed out at 70 lol. Battery…. Well it’s got power and I get about the same as I would with my laptop. 3-4 hours which is more then enough for me . Ergonomics of the controllers are ok.. but nothing a grip can’t fix . If you want a taste of everything in the pc world , well here you go! People need too understand , yes you can game out the box , but basic pc knowledge will make you love this machine even more . VRR… wish it was implanted from the beginning . That being said , hooking up to a monitor is nice BUT KNOW YOUR LIMITS . VRR with free sync would have been a game changer . But there is a way around this some what .. playing at 60? Feels sluggish ? Move too 144 hz . It does the trick . All and all this machine is amazing with some flaws but nothing too make you change your mind . I love it , some minor tweaks but that’s why the go 2 is coming . This is my daily driver and will be for a long time .

My only biggest complaint and criticizim would be that not being able to control Legion Space with external bluetooth input and can only be used with the detwchable legion go controller. Theyre not bad but the egonomics of an external contriller like an xbox controller are a better experience than using the detached legion controller in my personal opinion

It seems that the longer I use my Go the happier I am. Factory options for a larger hard drive or more ram would be great. Otherwise I couldn’t be happier with it’s performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LegionGo- it’s great but needs some software work It has a beautiful screen. Audio is great. Windows 11 is not made for a gaming handheld like this. Much fiddling with settings, bloatware, etc., is required. The LegionGo feels great, plays games well (I have not tried triple A new games yet) but Windows 11 needs much work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My best portable Windows Gaming PC. This has been a great purchase for me! My 2014 gaming laptop broke down more than a year ago and I was eyeing on handhelds. Legion Go is the most promising specs wise and truly is! Its the perfect Windows PC I always wanted! Its more portable than a laptop and I actually use this gaming 95% of the time! I use it with a dock and is attached to my ultrawide monitor for a desktop experience almost all the time. I play recent games decently. Its truly magical! I wish it has a 32 GB or 64GB version so the shared video memory wouldnt be too restrictive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little device My legion go has almost replaced my gaming laptop! Now that’s a loaded statement, but here’s the details. My legion go has become my everyday carry device. I play games on it, browse the web, send emails, watch videos, you name it. Does it handle every game? No , but I didn’t expect it to. Is it powerful? Yes, BUT, it is limited. It was never ment to play the newest AAA games on ultra fabulous special graphics. The reality is , it’s a custom laptop apu in a small tablet with detachable controllers. It runs windows so you can customize the hell out of it. Truth is , it’s not for everyone, but if being a windows handheld with controllers is your thing, and you understand it has its limits, AND you don’t have crazy expectations of top tier gaming rig style gaming. Then you will throughly enjoy this. I’ve had mine for 6 months as of writing this. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product with One Missing Feature Overall great product. Everything is great. Taking off one point for not having VRR display. Also, the support could speed up a bit since the main problems are in the software. But I like playing new AAA games on it where ever I go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gaming hand held ever I've had a steam deck and an ROG Ally. And I can tell you the Legion Go is the best gaming hand held device out there. I can play all my triple "A" titles at high frame rates. The big 8.8 inch display is bright and doubles as a full blown media device. Lenovo has been updating it very often. Great job Lenovo I love this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legion Go is the Undisputed Champion The Legion Go is the best gaming hand held ever created. It has the highest resolution screen, the largest screen, the same processor as the Ally Rog X, detachable Joy cons, a kick stand and many other features that the other handhelds didn’t include. The only place it falls short is with the RAM, but not by much. I would say if you’re on the fence and want a machine that’s ahead of it’s time you should go with this one and watch some of the videos for how to improve the graphics with image sharpening and AFMF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy purchase! Previously had purchased an Asus ally when it first came out . Was very excited to get a handheld gaming PC , if you want to call it that . Came home and was trying to set it up and the process was very extensive. That turned me off right away and installed one of my favorite fps games and I had to map out all the buttons . I was so turned off I returned it the same day. Well when I first saw the legion go . I just fell in love with it . I had to go out and get it . Not gonna say it was perfect but very close . The Lenovo support system has been great and coming out with updates every week I think since I purchased it . It has just gotten better and better every week . Love it . Great job Lenovo!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handheld gaming done Right! What a great device! great for gaming, productivity and an all around PC. Quite fascinating what the team at Lenovo have done with this device, From a premium exterior to an amazing internal thermal Design. The software is improving every day with the team constantly pushing out updates and improving the layout. I love the fact that the developers are prioritizing this device, more importantly, listening and communicating with the community for future improvements and suggestions. Hats off to the whole team. Thank you guys. I can’t wait to see how far we “GO” with the Legion GO

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing device. An amazing handheld. Plays all games I throw at it really well. Was extremely amazed at getting FFVII Rebirth running on the device with very minimal tweaking. Would highly recommend getting this device especially if you enjoy using detachable controllers as well. I also use it as a tablet to watch videos whenever im cooking as well so it serves many purposes asides from just a gaming handheld.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect enthusiasts handheld Almost perfect handheld computer. I have such an active lifestyle that theres little time for me to sit at my desk and actually game so this has been great for picking up and playing something wherever I am, in my house, in the car, on the train, whatever. It has the power and flexibility to really replace my PC for gaming. I dont play just steam games so this gave me the flexibility to play a breadth of games without sacrificing stability and it has the power to back it up. I have been playing spiderman remastered, I can get 1080p mid-high settings, 30fps, and get 3 hours of play time. Its a very impressive amount of life tbh. All that to power the gorgeous 8.8 inch display, Its the perfect size for media consumption and playing games on. And it can be adjusted very quickly for quality and refresh rate depending on the game. I dont feel the need to put it on another display for any reason. Additionally, the upgradability is also very handy. Can attach and external GPU and upgrade the SSD for more storage. I was very disappointed by the microSD slot. I could not install games on it. I have a couple criticisms. This is a device for tinkerers. I dont mind adjusting my settings constantly but I understand a lot of people wont. The legion space interface is not user friendly, I got trapped on the store front multiple times unable to leave. Windows is not nice to navigate with a controller but not the legions fault. Its difficult to use the controller but the touch screen makes up the difference. Also not a pick up and play device, sleep on windows isnt nice and I cant puase my game and leave the device in sleep mode, it will die very quickly. Its closer to a laptop than it is to a console but thats what I expected but not everyone wants that. All in all im very happy with, windows is the biggest limitation but also provides most of the flexibility. Its a difficult thing to balance but I still think lenovo did about as good as they could on this platform.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, but not quite ready I was excited to have received the Legion Go. After opening and setting up the device, I quickly found that it would not play several games. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite handheld PC I'm happy with the product. It's very versatile for gaming. I can play pretty much all games on steam, and other gaming networks. I love the detachable controllers, the 8.8in touch screen, and the versatility of it. My only gripe is the battery life. But you sacrifice battery life for performance. I'm usually on it for a couple hours at a time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone over other handheld devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Potential is there...but unfinished...shame While the potential is there, this is just another shameful beta test. At this point I wish I had waited a year to purchase. I feel silly contributing to this company profiting from yet another beta tested piece of hardware. One update since launch (which was beneficial) and Lenovo are proud of themselves. That is the shameful part. At launch your product should be better than what is currently offered, or at the bare minimum 100% functional and 100% match your marketing material. It is a half-hearted kickstarter without the kickstarter. I do not enjoy giving this type of feedback. All of this should be unnecessary. But send customers a feedback form and this is what you end up with. I would be a little surprised if this end up published. I am trying not to be overly dramatic, but c'mon Lenovo. I hope the bad press was worth the pre-Christmas launch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hardware, half-baked software. The computer is great. The software is not. I'm surprised the Lenovo would put out software this half-baked. It's gotten better a few months after its release, but its still missing very basic things. I've had to purchase other software just to map the controller, or be able to use the gyro. Windows is clunky on a handheld, but that isn't necessarily Lenovo's fault. I think this will be a great purchase eventually, but for a device that costs as much as this does you'd expect software that works and access to all of the device features.

Best purchase I’ve made in a long time I’ve never spent more time with I’m in a long time we both love it and it plays just as anyone would need it to. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Portable PC that runs great! I've had this over a month and so far I really enjoy it, it's super fast and the graphics are quality. I am a lifelong console user, so it was a bit of a jump moving to PC, especially a portable PC, but this makes the transition smoother. I love the detachable controllers on the side, they make it easier when using the stand or you don't want to hold it. I like taking the right controller off and using the base in FPS mode as a mouse, I use it when I play Civ 6 with no issues, using my phone as a 5g hotspot, I was getting anywhere from 30-45 FPS, and could probably get better with settings tuning. I like having the ease of using Steam, Gamepass, or anything else, without being restrained to a standalone system like the switch. it keeps my saves between my xbox and any compatible games. Overall, I love the graphics, the performance, and the controllers. It's a little heavy, and slightly noisy with the fan, but that is to be expected, battery life is around 2 hours depending on the settings and the demand of the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great device, but next version will be better Great handheld and screen. Battery life to be desired and the toggle between screen/controller is a little cumbersome. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to go into PC gaming. Especially the button mapping to controller settings is smooth. No major issues that I’ve experienced in a bit over 4 weeks of owning the device. Runs high res games. There is a little bit of finagling for button mapping. Games on Steam, Xbox, and EA run well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not ready yet for me. Let's wait for GO 2. I went with the Rog Ally. I returned my GO for reasons that might be minor but when I got the Ally, I felt like Home. The GO body is a fingerprint Super Magnet, makes it look cheap, and please notice I say "look" not feel, GO feels high quality for the weight, a tad on the heavy side, plastics feel good quality also. Ally is all white, so no visual fingerprints and the body feels good in my hands, like I am holding an Xbox Controller, which is good for me. Liked the GO screen size. Ally has darker blacks, more vibrant colors. With the GO I got the remorse of hopes for future updates. I felt like I bought an unfinished product. Ally, ran Games like a charm after debloating Windows. Which I needed to do it on the GO as well anyway. But felt more ready to play games than the GO. I did not mind the detachable controllers, I never liked the SWITCH, so no big attraction here for me. the FPS mode is just overkill, just attach a mouse to the thing and done. Maybe I will wait for the GO 2. Or when the price is lower. I got the Ally Extreme for almost $200 lower than the GO. Big decision making reason as well. Bye for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost incredible, still quite solid. Solid device with a lot to offer. Beautiful screen, plenty of power and multi purpose. The ability to detach the controllers is much appreciated when traveling as the stand alone screen makes an excellent tablet and/or laptop. However the device is a bit heavy and the battery drains fairly quickly. Despite these two minor shortcomings I find myself exclusively using this instead of my steamdeck, switch, and even personal PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hardware but not a complete good experience Great hardware for the most part. The screen and main buttons are great however the extra buttons keep coming in the way and get pressed, also that software experience is horrible. I thought that Steam Deck or ROG Ally were bad at launch however now I think the Legion Go takes that crown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice This thing is awesome! I am just getting back into gaming after a several year hiatus and this is the perfect device for it. I live in an RV so space is limited, therefore having a full sized PC isn’t the best option for me. The size of this thing is great making it easy to game wherever I feel comfortable in my home. The case is sturdy and protects the decide well for travel. It easily fits in my backpack. Also I love that the controllers detach, making for a console like experience. I wish Lonovo provided an attachment standard with the device for the controllers to clip into, but I found a 3d printed controller attachment on Etsy that works great. The lonovo legion space could use some work and as most of you know Windows 11 on the device has its bugs but these are very minor things for me and don’t really tarnish my experience much. I open steam most of the time to access my games. I have not used FPS mode much but it seams like a great feature to have available. Anyway I have had the device for several weeks and I have no complaints so far. Happy gaming!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and helpful experiance When submitting a claim because a faulty controller. I was figuring it would be a headache as most companies to get them to fix something under warranty is like pulling teeth or you would think they were going bankrupt when fixxing there product. It was pretty easy going with Lenovo. Submitted my ticket online. They just needed some simple information and the address where the new controller would go. With in 2 days i had my new controller. The people at the customer care support was very friendly and wanted to make sure everything was taken care of and is working well. As well as they have done followup to make sure everything is still good. I am very pleased with the service.i love Legion Go. Its been an amazing product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I'd been building up a big back catalog of games, but after sitting at my laptop all day working, I just can't bring myself to keep sitting there. The Legion Go has been amazing so far since I can move around the house with it. Also great for waiting in the car during my kid's weekly Scout meeting. Battery could be better, but that's what power banks are for. So far, it's run anything I threw at it and I've not done any of the extra side loading of drivers people claim you need to do. It's also not some crazy difficult device to operate. It's Windows. If you can use a computer, you can use this. The screen is amazing, it loads quickly, just all around a great gaming PC that you can take with you. The removable 'joycons" are great and makes the experience that much better. I can kick out the stand and set the Go on a table or night stand and pull the controllers off and game away. I did a bunch or research and waffled between this or a Steam Deck. I can't tell you if I actually made the right call, but I have no FOMO. This thing is a blast to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First-timer PC gamer and as well handheld I never played on a PC or a handheld PC. To me, it is a fantastic device. There are So many platforms to choose from: Xbox, steam, Amazon, and others that I don’t know of. I do understand the dead zones on a joystick, but hopefully, they update that soon. I am happy with my purchase. I will continue supporting this company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legion Go ?? Happy Buyer Has been great I ordered the legion go. This device is amazing. I wish they had on screen button mapping similar to BlueStacks. It would be helpful. Customer support was very helpful when issuing my exchange. I had a issue where the fan would just shut off and not turn on correctly or respond to the toggle switch even after all updates bios etc. I hope support continues to grow for this device. Both of the controllers have their own separate batteries. The controllers batteries lap the devices battery life in performance mode by 3 main device system recharges or more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go Mobile with the Legion The Legion Go is the handheld that combines several tactics for comfort. I find myself just disconnecting the legion controllers and using the device as a gaming tablet the most. The Switch like atmosphere was easy to adapt to but I still find myself using my series elite controller vs the hand held grips. Even after the handheld has served it's purpose, it also serves as a mobile pc for the office. It does suffer from a few standby issues as I may need to cold boot the device from steam sometimes but performance for it's design is pretty dang good. Don't buy this device expecting high performance but mobile quality. The screen may push 144hz but you may never hit that in a triple A game. Turn it down to 60hz and save your battery life. Destiny 2, Remant 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and Halo infinite at my finger tips. Also using a USB type c cable to shoot my screen to a bigger monitor is a plus. Also the FPS mode is really innovative. I'd love to see key bindings to the legion buttons other than to summon legion space (of which I've un-installed)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo legion go Lenovo Legion Go has the potential to be better gaming wise, some game titles play better than others but only happens to installed games, doesn’t apply to cloud gaming. Too much tweaking on the Amd app to get the installed games to run smoothly. The speakers sound terrible, even though I understand the conservative of power since the battery doesn’t really last that long to begin with(only applies to gaming)good battery power when browsing and streaming movies. Other than that I love the size and the clarity of the screen, I don’t really use the touchpad but At the same time I don’t mind it being there. I like the detachable controllers but occasionally one might come off while holding it. I work at a hospital and on my breaks I like to game a little, but a lot of the times I’m tweaking the Legion go to play some titles. I play Call of duty normally and the stress of tweaking the settings to play this game without crashing has been a nightmare, too much video lag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't trust other reviews, they're haters. I love the LeGo. Sure, it has some quirks because Windows wasn't designed with this form factor in mind. I've read many reviews that complain about game incompatibility. I can't imagine how that's so. It's a Windows computer. Everything works fine for me: Steam, Epic, EA, Origin, Ubisoft, BattleNet, and XBox. All of those launchers work. Running with RSR makes performance great and the image is still fantastic from the high DPI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful windows gaming handheld. Very fun and powerful device great for gaming. I'm having a lot of fun with this device it runs palworld well in performance mode. The controls feel nice and good quality. I love how the controllers are detachable as it makes it easy to setup the screen on a table with the kickstand. It's gravy to hold long term but I love proping it on my lap or a table with controller detached. The mouse function of the right controller is smooth and nice too, and unique to this awesome device. The plastic of it is a fingerprint magnet but as I already planned to personalize with a skin it didn't matter much to me. I eventually plan to do some digital art on this amazing device but have been too busy gaming on it ATM. But I think the touch screen will make it easy to draw using a generic capacitive stylus that works with this touch screen

Amazing device plays all my favorite games, I got a steam deck OLED and the screen was too small It also didn't play the games that I wanted to play because of the Linux barrier. I got tired of getting frustrated with trying to get my games working or them working and them crashing as I'm playing them. The legion go plays all my favorite games and has a great Wi-Fi antenna. The antenna is especially good It helps me stay connected even when my phone doesn't have a connection a lot of times I'm still able to get connected to the Wi-Fi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast of a handheld but do your research! I had the original Steam Deck before upgrading to the OLED edition and then when the Legion Go released, I upgraded to it and promptly sold both Steam Decks. While the screen isn’t an OLED, the increased size of it, color accuracy, brightness, and its options for differing resolutions meant that I ended up liking it a tad better even if it was just regular LED. The unit itself is much larger than the other handhelds and you can feel this chunk in your hands when you hold it, it has bit of weight to it and generally a very solid premium feeling. If you game in bed with your elbows up and holding your handheld above you, prepare to feel your arms go numb or to get a concussion when the device falls on you because it can be heavy lol. My biggest warning to buyers: please do your research if you are a console player who expects to just be able to plug in play. This is a basically a Windows PC and it will need different tweaking depending on the games you want to get working. Imagine this: on a console, you can just pick the game and play even if it’s new! For the Legion Go, you might need to see if your game is running at the right resolution, if it needs FPS to be capped, different performance modes on the Legion Go, messing around with FSR and other graphic settings (luckily I modded Skyrim once in my life and have the experience from those sleepless nights on PC so transitioning from Linux (Steam Deck) to what is basically a portable Windows PC with removable controller was easy and actually preferred for me. Ever since the Steam Deck came out, a lot of companies have been jumping on the bandwagon. As a consumer, do your research before you buy the next coolest thing because so the early tech, you could easily save your money and buy an upgraded and revised product at a cheaper price when these companies figure everything out. However this handheld easily plays certain games that my steam deck couldn’t run or struggled with and that greatly increased my happiness with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best PC Handheld so far Love the fact that I have a built in mouse to use for FPS and RTS games. Also the chip is strong enough to play all the games I've thrown at it. I have no complaints. The 2TB upgrade is a must if you want to keep a lot of games on hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Legion Go is the best handheld so far... I have both the Steam deck and the Asus ROG Ally handheld PCs. Let's face it, these are truly handheld PCs, not some game console that is limited to just games. I like all three of these handhelds, but the Legion Go is my new favorite due to the larger screen and easier to read text and menus. You can't really do that with the Ally unless you zoom in at the Windows settings, which will be okay, but at the cost of losing some desk top space. Performance between the three is on par and very similar. Legion Go has the removable controllers and the foldable stand (like Switch), which makes it much more fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend Legion Go to anyone wanting a handheld PC for games or as a laptop at a low price that can do gaming much better than laptops at similar price range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic device with a few drawbacks The legion go is a fantastic handheld for gaming but due to being an early adopter there have been some growing pains, the software is incomplete but that’s not a huge deal and to be expected. Where the 4 stars come in is due to some hardware defects, specifically the case that it comes with, the top does not line up with the joysticks causing pressure to be put on them when the case is closed, and even more dire, some people (me included) have had an issue to where the rail of the controller is cutting into the locking tab causing the controller to no longer lock in place. Thankfully Lenovo has been great about replacing the controller and will continue to be transparent regarding the device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handheld design, getting better with updates There are many different handhelds this generation and they are all built with very similar specs, so, features matter. FPS mode does take some time to get to use, but, it works well. It is a great middle ground between joysticks and keyboard/mouse. The screen is large enough and bright enough for those older gamers or those who need bigfer screens. It does miss out on some screen features and the screen is portait screen by default so that does complicate things, but, that is not a Legion Go issue, specifically. I love this thing and this is coming from someone that has 4 different handhelds from this generation and I always Go for Go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gaming / Windows Machine! Overall: Excellent little machine that can legit double as a windows 11 tablet and gaming machine. Pros: - Excellent build quality - Ryzen Z1 Extreme SOC is responsive - Love the additional rear buttons and ability to customize them - Legion Space is improving and the on-demand customizability (thermal, perf, screen) work well - Lenovo is actively making improvements in the software, BIOS options, etc - 144Hz screen looks great and the lack of VRR is unnoticeable - Integer scaling registry mod helps visuals/perf when running games at 800P - Big battery and good battery life based on what your power / performance / screen settings are Cons: - Controllers could use a little cushioning for your palms due to the edges; because you have to hold the Go at a different angle than a typical controller to see the screen, it can put some pressure on your palms after a while. - Hall effect sticks work well but tend to activate deep into the activation; could use the ability to tweak their response so they're more progressive. Overall, I've enjoyed the experience with the Go. Looking forward to further improvements being rolled out by Lenovo and trying more games on it. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE high-quality, powerful handheld PC you need! The first thing you will immediately notice is the build quality of the Legion Go. It's high-quality and impressive! Once you get it set up, you'll be impressed with the power of the system and the beauty of the screen. The Legion Space software could use some work, but the Support staff is not only actively working to improve it, but they consistently communicate with the community and give us frequent updates. I had both this system and the ROG Ally. The Ally got sold on eBay, as the Legion Go blows it away!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent machine but bad experience with Support it's a decent machine. There are some software issues and the controllers have a bit of wiggle to them. I contacted support and did not have a good experience. I was told 3 times they'd send me new replacement controllers than at the last minute after verifying my address numerous times I was told they wouldn't send me controller replacements and instead wanted me to send in the entire machine. It's a decent enough machine but the experience with Support and being told one thing a bunch of times then being told something else really soured me on the whole experience. At this point I'm hoping a third party makes good replacement controllers and I'll buy those. I don't like feeling misled and lied to and it doesn't make me want to buy more Lenovo products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What about the Legion Go? I bought the Legion Go as an upgrade to my Steam Deck. I went with the Go primarily because of the promise of its larger display as well as its improved hardware. My expectations have been met on the whole, with only a few reservations that keep me from giving the Go five stars as of now. The display is the star of the Go's show, without any doubt. At 8.8 inches, it offers about 40% more screen real estate than the displays of the ROG Ally or the Steam Deck. The display is brighter than that on my old Deck as well. Games look wonderful. The controllers are pleasantly large with plenty of buttons, allowing for a multitude of configurations. Lenovo's decision to use Hall effect joysticks will pay off in the long run. There is a so-so trackpad on the right controller. It's okay, but could be improved. Though the Go is larger and heavier than my Deck, the extra weight isn't really a problem. The device is well-balanced and the extra weight isn't really all that much. The Go offers generally good hardware which should translate into a solid gaming experience for most games. One factor that is both a great plus and something of a minus is having Windows 11 as the OS. On the one hand, it makes nearly any game compatible with the Go. On the other, since Windows is designed to cover a wide variety of use scenarios, it's not sufficiently optimized for gaming on the Go. I'd like to see Lenovo tweak Windows further in future updates. It can be better for gaming and still be good enough for any other basic computing people may wish to do. Still, people think of the Go as a gaming device, primarily, and that should be Lenovo's focus. Audio quality could be better. My old Steam Deck wins this battle easily. Some tweaking of the Realtek app helps improve audio quality a bit. This may be the Go's weakest point. People who are interested in the Go need to remember that it is not a console like the Switch, where you can install games and just play them. To get good performance from a number of games will require some tweaking. If someone is willing to do that, the Go can become a very satisfying device. (You may want to use headphones if audio quality is really important to you!) The pull-out stand on the back is a really useful feature. All in all, I can recommend the Legion Go, especially if you're willing to put in the time and effort to tweak it to work its best for your games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I looked and looked at the 3 main options for gaming hand helds… I have never owned one but after weeks of reading what other people said I took the plunge and bought the legion go. It was definitely the best choice: I love this thing. I only use it for gaming and it has changed the game for me. I love the size of the screen and it fits perfectly into my hands. The system is windows so it has a few issues with software from time to time but I think that is Microsoft and not the hardware. The speakers volume is perfect, the kickstand is very useful and the display is good to go. The fan noise isn’t enough to bother me and the battery life is what it is. My house has plugs all over so it’s never an issue to charge and play once it gets to that point. I would buy this again. I have never owned any of the other ones, but this fills the blank I had very nicely

I've enjoyed every moment I've started a game up. I tried an Ally Z1E, but realized I'd prefer a bigger screen. This fits that in every way. No plans for replacing this with the Go2, although I'll be first in line waiting for the Go2 controllers they look more comfortable. For the time being I'm using the Comfort Grips found on Etsy.

Even has a built in mouse in the "joy con" for FPS games. Perfect for long train rides into the city and get the work done when you get there tackle spread sheets and any other work related programs like Microsoft word SharePoint etc. More portable and lightweight than a gaming laptop, if I gotta carry a work computer it might as well cover the downtime too.. love my LeGo can't say the same about my ROG ALLY (worth the extra money for the quality) plus the manufacturers warranty is amazing and customer support is great. -Calvin R

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Legion GO Review The Lenovo Legion Go is a great handheld device which can serve diverse functions depending on one need. I primary use it for gaming as a windows device to be a companion to my Lenovo Legion 7i Rtx 2080 super 32 gb ram laptop. As I also own a steamdeck, having both plus my laptop allow me to tackle all the games I love plus if I need to move, to resume my gaming session on the go with a quality screen and conformable device to hold. I highly recommend it as Lenovo plans to continue providing software updates and support to the Lenovo Legion GO which will bring more stability and quality to the current service in offer to date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving it! I am loving my Legion Go even more than I thought I would. Haven't done a lot of modern gaming on it but it is killer for emulation! I only wish they would implement a 'battery saver' setting where the user could define to what % they want the battery charged (like other Legion products).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good system, well built Excellent portable system, Windows 11 still needs some polish in this form factor but holds up decently. The controls could be better integrated with the OS but that is to be expected since they are using Windows instead of building their own OS. The FPS mode is an interesting and well thought out design. This feature alone makes it very unique and innovative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome concept, but poorly executed I really wanted to love this device, but there are just a few issues preventing me from keeping it. The controllers dig painfully into the palms of your hands. This makes it unusable in handheld mode for me. The base needs a secure attachment for FPS mode, not just a magnet. While it works well enough, there's a reason we don't have vertical gaming mice. Just not very accurate, as you are using your arm to aim. Poorly designed software + UI. Legion Space needs a lot of work. Disappointing coming from Legion gaming laptops. The single fan is very loud, and has a high pitched sound even in quiet mode. Very annoying. The controllers feel terrible, and almost unusable in its current state. Deadzones need to be fixed. This device is amazing in tablet mode with your own Xbox controller though, bit that kind of defeats the purpose imo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy so far Really enjoying it. It's a good size screen I don't have to squint at, and is bright and clear. The track pad is pretty important for me as some games I play require more mouse interactions. I haven't pushed it too far yet but performance seems adequate. It's very quiet, doesn't get hot so far. The lockout stand is great when chilling and I don't want to hold it. The controllers are solid feeling and respond well. I do wish all manufacturers would build a variable tilt to the controllers relative to the screen as I find I have to tilt the whole thing to get a more ergo hand alignment and the screen is then angled down, or risk some wrist stress to keep the screen perpendicular. The Legion app is meh, more marketing than helping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you're considering the handheld this is the one I absolutely love this device. I'm coming from an LCD Steam Deck. Which was okay. The OS is great, but the screen was meh and the build was kind of cheap, and plastic feeling. I prefer the build quality of the Legion Go. The screen is amazing. I really like the detachable controllers. And you can actually dual boot with Linux and use SteamOS along side Windows if you need to play anti cheat games. I highly recommend this device. I'm a big Lenovo fan in general I've had a couple of their laptops in the past and never had a bad experience. Their customer service is also top-notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable Gaming Powerhouse! I was a bit worried ordering this Legion Go after reading some of the reviews but I figured, worst case scenario, I too will just return it haha. Well, I’ve had enough time to test numerous games ranging from Starfield to Hollow Knight. This device runs everything very well. I have read that the fan can get noisy but I have not noticed this. Maybe they improved it? It does move a ton of air but it stays pretty quiet. I will agree with others about battery life. Battery life while gaming is not great but with how much power this device is producing it’s not surprising. I average 1.5 to 2 hours of battery life while gaming. Lenovo has also stated that they will be supporting the Legion Go (first gen) for a long time. To sum things up, I am so glad I decided to go with the Legion Go over the other portable gaming devices. This thing is amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs work, but definite potential. Worth the buy. I love my Legion Go, and there was some serious innovative thought put into the design. I own all the major PC gaming handhelds now, and I can say the Legion Go has features many others lack. Stuff like multiple USB C ports, the kickstand and the mobile FPS mode. The screen is nice, however I wish Lenovo would have opted for a 1080p panel instead of the 1600p panel, as the Ryzen Z1 Extreme really targets 1080p or less performance-wise. The speakers are also, to put it bluntly, absolute garbage. A fingerprint scanner would have been nice, and the system software isn't nearly as polished as the Go's competitors. Overall though, this is a great first model and future revisions or models will address some of the issues. The Legion Space software will get better as time goes on, but it certainly needs a lot of work. It is definitely worth the purchase, however. Changing settings and getting the system tuned can net some impressive performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Core but a few tiny Issues Overall excellent device with some hiccups in software and hardware but great support and community keep this going strong. I had issues with my detachable controllers but with a single phone call and a few emails i was sent a replacement pair that solved my problem. And for software is is good not to obtrusive and very helpful even if it doesn't look the best the core is strong and a fresh coat of paint will improve it even more. Overall Hardware 7/10 Software 7/10 Support 10/10 If you want a unique handheld PC and you like some tinkering this is the device for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance, Windows gets in the way. they're making changes to the firmware by the week to make it better, but it's a project machine for how badly Windows wants to fight it. I like it overall, am impressed with it's performance, and knew what I was getting into, but do look at reviews and the r/legiongo reddit to figure out what you need to change (notably, use FSR or integer scaling, AAA games choke on the 4x-the-steam-deck resolution but the upscaling is beautiful)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome first release I'm very happy with this unit. It feels sturdy and the included carrying case is very protective. The runs great and so far it's run everything I've thrown at it very well. The screen is gorgeous, though I hope the next version uses an OLED display. The speaker setup, however, isn't very good at all, but a simple change in the system audio settings makes for a huge improvement. I'm really excited to see what future updates bring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Legion Go - The Good, the bad, and the ugly The materials utilized appear robust, and the outward elements were meticulously constructed. But there are a ton of flaws in the software, it lacks several essential functionality, and it occasionally crashes. Additionally, for certain drivers to function flawlessly with specific games, they must be manually updated. I'm talking about the graphics card. In addition, if you play games for extended periods of time, the clicking sound that your D-pad buttons make gets bothersome.

It's completly replaced my high-end pc. I moved my expensive computer to my livingroom TV. Hooked my Legion Go up to my dual gaming monitors, and its great. I get all my work done, plays any game I want, then I simply unplug, and take it with me wherever I go. I can always do my work, and I can always play games. I also couldnt recommend this enough to shop technicians that need a versatile handheld pc. Amazing product, I'm very impressed and a happy customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great start but just not there yet for me Came from a Steam Deck because I wanted a native Windows gaming handheld and was blown away by the beautiful screen. The detachable controllers worked great but in practice didn't fit my use case and I rarely took them off I decided ultimately to go back to Steam Deck after experiencing several crashes in games I was playing. I honestly think it's down to the optimization so I do hope this gets better as the support for the device matures, but with the same usage on a dual boot Windows setup on Steam Deck, I never crashed. I'd definitely come back to a next gen Legion Go. Some things I'd want to see improved: more of an ergonomic focus, as the device is heavy and with sharp corners was not comfortable to hold; better interface and mobile optimization (Microsoft needs to step this up in Windows 11, but a Legion Space software experience modeled after Steam Big Picture mode would have helped); quieter fans - they can get very noisy; louder speakers (they are very quiet in the first gen, can barely hear over the fans sometimes).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, software need some work. Legion Go is great overall. It is fast and can play most games with high fps The detachable controller and fps mode are quite unique and useful. Only downside is the software and the placement of the legion buttons. Why would anyone replace where "start / select" buttons usually sit on every controller. The Legion software are slow and limited setting options. Hopefully, Lenovo will let us remap the buttons and fix the software soon.

I needed a gaming system to take with me on trips and when working from the cottage instead of dragging out the gaming desktop and this more than scratches the itch. I find myself playing games until the wee hours of the morning (plugged in of cource) Currently playing Overwatch 2, Moonlighter, Goat Simulator 3, and a splattering of the LEGO games and having a great time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely beast of a unit, with some smallcaveats Great device once you have it all set up right. It's about the same as setting up a new PC. -1 Star for the state, reliability and operability of the Legion software. Very finicky and still not consistently reliable. Also requires the entire frontpage solution to be running to have the side toaster-menus running, and should have a deeper, game-specific solution for alternative controls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very nice gaming system with a few flaws easily I like the big screen and the fact that it's a standard MS Windows OS. The "gaming" mode when playing games disconnect sometimes somehow (I think it's after 5-10 seconds without moving). Also, the "sleep" mode drains a lot of battery, I wish it would hibernate instead of sleep. Some games on Steam are definitely not compatible with the controls (example: Battletech).

I play from time to time titles like Stray and clash royal (on ipad). Go is quite good for programming on the go, watching videos and writing something with extrrnal keyboard. I would love if go has its own case with keyboard. I would say now there are many glitches in different scenarios. Even in gaming for example Stray sometimes switch to the weird mode and it's quite a process to reset. Still love form factor and wonderful screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent device with typical Windows issues The Legion go is a fantastic portable PC. A few issues but that's mainly due to Windows not being optimized for handhelds. No issues playing most games, beautiful, large screen, great controllers. No issues like I had with the cheaply manufactured Rog ally. Speakers are weak which is strange considering the Legion go tablet has excellent speakers. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great if software was more refined Love the hardware. Build quality is pretty solid. Works great as a portable computer/laptop with mouse and keyboard as well. Biggest knock on product is its software. Had alot of issues getting RSR going, AMD driver was not functional out of box, and official update from lenovo didn't help. Had to format the device and clean install from scratch to fix the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of all 2024 handhelds for premium features Great device that runs most games from emulation to recent, depends on graphics settings. I would recommend this to someone who knows how to tweak bios and Windows, or at least can follow instructions on how to do it. 512gb storage is a bit small. Love the 8.8 inch screen, can't imagine going any smaller after using this. I use it handheld at home or docked as an entertainment station to watch movies and play games. Battery life is not great, but with the size, it's not super portable anyway. Owned for about 3 months and no issues or complaints so far. Warranty option direct from Lenovo is great and affordable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good heldheld with some improvement needed I love the big screen. I like the FPS mode and the detackable controller. I like Windows for its customisable environment. I controller should come with a way for it to attached together and the Lenovo software need to be quicker to open. There should be a dicated windows key on the controller. These improvement will give it a 5 stars instead or 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great screen and peformance but do your research. Although the legion go has great performance, it has many trade-offs. There are build quality issues that are very prevalent on Reddit, including screen issues. There is also a lack of software support. Legion space is horrible and needs a redesign. The screen is amazing but is overshadowed by bad speakers, fan noise and uncomfortable controllers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the legion go! Shopping at Lenovo was very easy and reliable and my Legion Go came early. On top of that the legion go is amazing and an excellent gaming handheld. It runs everything i play and the screen is gorgeous and despite what people say the battery is pretty good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow ! The perfect portable PC ! First of all, a 8.8 in screen ! Amazing to my eyes ! I was a previous owner of SD and RA, and I can tell you that the experience is way better. Yes it’s bigger and heavier.. but you have more ! So much more ! FPS mode, 1600p, 49w battery. I even emulate my NS games because I can’t go back to a 7 in screen ! Can’t go wrong with the Legion GO GO GO !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolest handheld I've ever used Amazing device. Loads of power, beautiful top of the line screen, very nice touchpad. Only gripes I have about the device is it should have 32gb of ram, but for the most part that isn't needed. Speakers are a little weak, only because they are rear facing, again, not a big issue though since its a portable device. All in all I love this thing and I bring it with me everywhere I go. I don't need multiple device anymore and u use it as a desktop pc and a portable everything device. Thanks lenovo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legion go for an old school pc gamer. I’m really enjoying the Legion go. Definitely wasting a lot of my free time with it. I was considering one of the portable gaming systems for a while. I chose the go because of the higher specs, bigger screen and the fact that it gives you multiple ways to use it with the detachable controllers and fps mode. I was a pc gamer years ago but became a console gamer for the last while. I enjoy tinkering with settings to optimize it for different games. I guess I missed that with console. It has a lot of potential and I’m sure it will only get better as time goes on. It is a brand new system that has its hiccups which is to be expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good job Lenovo. I like the form factor. I likw the joycons. I like the fps mode. I like the screen. I like that it run on windows. I like support that it currently receives from Lenovo. I like the updates keep them coming. I want you Lenovo to prove to them that Lenovo does it better. That LEGION is where gaming is at. That you know what gamers wants and what gamers need. Its okay that the Legion Go wasnt perfect when it came out but its getting polished and perfected by Lenovo support team. We as consumers will help you out in achieving that. So far youre on the right track. Some additional areas you need to check. Game compatability. Some users say Call of Duty runs fine on their unit but BF2042 doesnt. On my unit its vise versa. It says on Adrenaline that i get 74 FPS avarage. Its run at low settings but when the load gets heavier its stutters like crazy. Ive already updated the driver and everything. Gyro needs work. I cleaned up my fan when i upgraded my ssd and now i get this whistling souns its annoying the heck out of me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not too impressive I am an active trader and thought would install trading software on this device, especially that it's a Windows based platform, but that would not install while my budgeted over 8 years old PC has no issues running that program. My main purpose for purchasing this device was to have a backup for my simple trading platform but that unfortunately didn't work. I also play video games so I installed Watch Dogs 2, a 2016 realse and that would stutter every few seconds on default settings and was unplayable. Therefore, I was not impressed by this device where I had quite high hopes, especially considering the price point. You can buy a brand new laptop in this price range which would work exceptionally better in all aspects, while this not only lacks the laptops features such as the keyboard, and also a big screen. I believe this product has a long way to go to be considered useful and not just a gimmick, in my humble opinion. I really wanted this device to be an exrension of my PC but unfortunately it didn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great system with some minor issues The device is great. I wish the touch interface was a little more friendly to use but it can be done. The battery life is okay but don't expect long gaming sessions unless you can plug into a wall outlet. The screen is incredible, great size and colors. I have found some games that don't like the screen setup and end up flipping because of the portrait screen being used. I'd like to see a rotation hot key added for the screen. Overall I recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Companion Selling my old steam deck for the legion go was one of the best choices i made. This made my Pc gaming life worthwhile and Contented. I dont care about too much FPS and stuff. the mere fact i have a handheld windows gaming pc with such Big screen is super enough. im very optimistic about the future of legion space. I know lenovo has plans for this handheld ????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid hardware, solid Support. I sold my OG steamdeck and purchased the Lenovo Go on launch, and I haven't looked back. After 18 months of owning the SD (an amazing device) I was looking for a handheld that was more versatile, innovative, and bigger and badder in every way. I have never been (in my mind) locked to a "console experience" only...and I love that the Legion Go is basically a handheld PC... becase I have always been a pc tinkerer. I saw from my first unboxing that this device is a high quality build; but of course... since we know already that Lenovo does high end laptops without compromise this device has a premium feel and build. But, the software was lacking in maturity and refinement, and that was quite obvious from my previous experience with Valve's Steam Deck software. Over the last few weeks in Dec., that has changed, for the better. The recent updates by Lenovo are very welcome indeed and a step in the right direction as it's obvious that they do indeed listen to the public's feedback/requests and work hard to implement the necessary bug fixes and features that this device needs in order to alow it to surpass the SD and Rog Aly in hardware/software supremacy. No device earns an auto 5 star rating, not even the SD oled. But the Legion Go is a solid 4 in my opinion. I love this device, and I can clearly see that I won't be returning it. Looking forward to Lenovo's future support/software releases that will transform the Go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legion Go 16g ram 512nvme A little to heavy, noisy fan had to put tape like mentioned in many place (I'm usually not sensible to that). 16G is definitively not enough, should have at minimum 24g. Speaker are fine for my use case. Everything else been great. This is replacing a 10year old i7-4770 computer so it was easy to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a lot of fun, but it's not a toy This thing is great. Yes, it feels a little wonky to control initially, but if you're familiar with Windows, you'll get over the learning curve quickly enough. The screen is gorgeous, the battery life exceeds my expectations, and thus far it's been able to tackle anything I wanted it to. My only real caveat here is that the Legion Go really is not a toy. If you're a tinkerer like me you'll have a blast tweaking and optimising things to get the best out of the Go, but if you find it overly tedious, or more importantly aren't confident in your technical skills, then this form factor in general probably isn't for you at this stage. Don't, for example, buy one for an 8 year old thinking it will be as straightforward as a console. But overall, I'm definitely pleased with the Legion Go, and I'd purchase it again. In fact, I might, because my boyfriend keeps stealing mine...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work and Play I was looking for a gaming PC to use for work and play. The Legion Go does this in spades. The only issue I have with the Legion Go is that there was no option to have Windows 11 Pro for the OS. This was easily corrected with a purchase from Microsoft for the upgrade to Pro. The device connects to any USB C docking station with ease, which extends its functionally greatly. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a gaming device and workstation.
