Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could have deeper blacks Given that this monitor is an IPS type panel, I did not expect the performance of a 4K VA type panel (to produce deep blacks). However, the contrast ratio is acceptable (specified at 1000:1). I do wish it had a higher contrast ratio of 1500:1 for enhanced quality. Also would have been nice to get a Lenovo HDMI cable or at least choose the option for the cable type at time of purchase (came with VGA connector).

Quality picture, easy to put together and a good size for my needs. The only reason I gave the monitor 4 stars and not 5 stars is it doesn't telescope up/down to adjust line of site.

The two big drawbacks are the lack of easy mounting capability for mounting to a dual-monitor stand and the stand it does come with is a little clunky. Overall it does what I need it to do and it was a good price for the size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent monitor Monitor is nice. My complaint is that you cannot adjust the height. I bought this for a second monitor to my new Lenovo A540 (which has a very sexy design). Ideally I would have liked for the monitor to be identical, but I could not find that option. This monitor appeared to be the closest match. In order to get the monitor close to the same height, I had to put an Algebra book under my new monitor. I would love for Lenovo to make a matching monitor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Monitor L23i This is a good monitor with clear screens. I had no problem hooking them ( I bought two) to my Lenovo Yoga laptop. They are light and perfect for what I need. The only issue I have is that the stand does not allow portrait. This is not a major issue. Just would be nice to be able to turn from landscape to portrait occasionally. The viewing area is exceptional with very narrow top and side margins. I would recommend this monitor to anyone.

If you like watching a movie on a computer monitor or working with graphic design programs, it would be better if you choose a screen that produces better contrasts. I was on a budget and I thought this would pair nicely with my Lenovo Yoga 710-15in. The bezels are insanely thin with a beautiful HD display with HDMI.
