I used an iPad still and thought I really couldn’t go much on this for school. I went out on a limb and bought this idea tab plus I absolutely love it. Easier to understand how to work it. I can do any schoolwork I need to on it. It cost less money and included the PEN. I love all the pen choices that Lenovo has now I just need to find another compatible one.

Performance is excellent. In combination with the matching folio keyboard, it becomes a terrific travel device for entertainment and productivity. I wanted an Android tablet in order to download streaming shows prior to trips and this one fills the bill at a very good price. I love the fact that it comes with very up-to-date Android. I am very pleased with this purchase.

We use it to play music in our office, test our MDM settings before going live with them, and report the weather. IT can go 8 to 5 for three or four days without needing to recharge. I'm not sure how they do it.

From the moment you open the box, it feels premium especially with the included pen, which is a huge bonus at this price point. The design is beautiful, the weight is perfect, and the size strikes an ideal balance between productivity and portability. Performance-wise, it doesn’t lag at all. Whether I’m using it for work, streaming, or multitasking between apps, it stays smooth and responsive. I’ve been using it for both work and play, and it handles everything effortlessly. Note-taking is especially impressive; the pen feels natural, accurate, and makes writing almost as easy as putting pen to paper. If there’s anything I wish Lenovo offered, it would be more storage and RAM options, like a 512GB / 16GB version, and maybe a few more color choices. But even with that, the value for the price is excellent. Overall, it’s a beautiful, powerful tablet that delivers way more than expected. The functionality, processing speed, display quality, and overall user experience are amazing. I’m genuinely impressed and happy with it. it’s been a fantastic tool in my daily workflow and entertainment routine.

The dimensions were a little bigger than I would have wanted, but it beats carrying around the Pro which was humongous and could barely fit in my purse. I cannot wait to get to know my new tablet and see what is in store!!!

I like that they have a kids account as well, my daughter uses it for playing games and reading. I mostly use it for streaming videos or watching football while doing things around the house.

It takes a long time to boot up and there are some glitches to the way it functions in PC mode, which is what I mostly need. It was inexpensive, as tablets go... and I guess you get what you pay for.

I don't use if for any heavy lifting, so each one has met my needs, and each one is still being put to use. This is my first tablet with a pen and I appreciate the improved ability to markup PDFs.

I was excited to see the Lenovo Idea Tab plus released this fall - I had been looking for a tablet upgrade for my son that was better and different than the two big brands that start with A. The Pro seemed like it would be overkill for his use, but the other, more economical version didn't seem like it would be enough. We're so excited to offer this to him, and it will likely turn into his at-home computer for a couple of years, too!

I will never play any of the junk games that Lenovo forces on you, it's a big waste of my time to have sit down and find all the extra crap that's been installed on a device. If there was another tablet without these features I would have purchased it.

They have the required large screen size needed to display sheet music. They also have the required brightness to be used outdoors. The best feature is the price! I have purchased 3 devices at about the same cost of one competitor’s product … and I haven’t sacrificed quality in any way! Thanks Lenovo.

Unfortunately, those capabilities don't extend to other android devices. So if you want it to be sensitive to your body by detecting your Fitbit watch, good luck. If you want the Bluetooth connection to work with non-Moto devices, good luck. This tablet could have been so good. I also didn't see where it indicated these limitations anywhere in the device description. Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An AMAZING choice I got this tablet expecting very budget features, but in reality, it almost has a premium feel to it. The speakers are loud and crispy. The display is vibrant, clear, and the 90Hz makes it feel so smooth. Taking notes on it, reading books, watching videos, streaming music, playing a game or two here and there; it all feels really good on this tablet. My favorite part of this tablet is the battery. I've had this tablet last me 3-5 days on a single charge with moderate usage, and about 2 full days on fairly heavy usage. I'm more than satisfied with the purchase, and have actually become a strong Lenovo fan after this one.

The AI won't stop interrupting everything until I finally managed to shut it off for every single individual app. I also had to deep dive into reddit to find a fix for the apps. The tablet for days would just constantly install more and more apps that I did not ask for. And they were all weird fake mobile games and gacha games. It was also filled with a ton of scammy apps like Temu and Shien. I had to delete about fifty apps when I first started it then tens of apps every day until I figured out how to make it stop installing them itself.

Idea Tab Plus tablet is easy to set up (just make sure that you only install vendor apps you actually want). I do not use tablet to run games, but for everything I do it's very fast. Very good screen - big and bright. Interface is almost pure Android plus some useful Lenovo enhancements. I paired it with generic Bluetooth keyboard and it worked like champ. Speakers are better than you would expect on a tablet. Unfortunately Lenovo provides only one OS update, but this typical for Lenovo/Motorola phones and tablets. Also stylus is a welcome bonus.
