This isn't a problem except that it makes it more difficult to hang onto securely. I suggest getting a sleeve or case with a good non-slip finish or hand strap if using it on-the-go much.

Might work on latest iPhones with USB-C connectors, but I can't test that. Are there better earphones out there? yes. but at the sale price I got it at ($10), it does the trick. I just needed something that wasn't bluetooth/wireless for my phone. The audio is a little bit quieter than I would prefer, but it does it's trick. My biggest gripe is that the earphones do not stay in my ears, but that's true of most earphones (for me). The included buds just don't fit in my ears as they do for others.
