Rated 5 out of 5 by from tab M9 Folio Case This folio case does what it needs to do. It protects the tablet and the screen very well, and allows the tablet to stand up horizontally. You can also stand the tablet up vertically by leaving the case horizontal and simply placing the tablet in the case vertically, and it will hold the bottom edge of the tablet however this is a bit less stable. Only complaint is there's really only one angle you can display the tablet at.

The case fits perfectly with cutouts matching the M9's ports and buttons exactly. Easy to remove the M9 from the case and just put a strap on it when you want to lie in bed and read for hours like a slug. (The M9 makes an excellent e-reader, especially if you use the Kindle App set to dark mode.)

How can I walk around with my nice table in such a horrible case? This was a bad, bad, bad idea, Lenovo, and I thought you would know better. At least offer some color choices. Light Grey? Really? OMG Just change the color because it is a bad color. Very unprofessional and made me belch really loud when I saw the color of the case. So, please, let me return this belch-inducing case so I can go on Amazon and buy a Chinese-made case that has a better color. You have not listened to your test groups and have failed to stay abreast of modern, popular trends. I cannot let anyone see this case, especially my family, friends, co-workers, and people I meet on the streets. What would they think? How could I even explain to them why I would choose this color? This is completely unacceptable, and I can't be judged in this way. This color does not match any of my clothes, my clothing accessories, my travel gear, my personality, or even my idea of what I feel is fashion. So, get with it and be kind to others by offering a case with a different color. Just be kind!

This makes it difficult to feel the buttons when using the case, which is a real bummer because you probably want easy access to volume adjustments on a tablet. If it was the proper dimensions of the tablet I would give it a solid 4 stars. The microfiber lining on the inside picks up dirt like no other microfiber lining I've seen, which is also an unfortunate problem.

I do have an issue with it (as well as other cases/folios for other tables)... the edges feel 'sharp' when holding it in my hand (like in portrait mode when reading). My pinkie is underneath the tablet to hold it up, and it gets rubbed by the edge of the folio. Fairly uncomfortable.

Prompting it up, the lid fits into a little slot but its so flimsy it does not hold well. Save money and go to amazon and get something much stronger that will protect the tablet for half the price.

I'd prefer if it opened and closed like a book - from the spine. It seems a bit pricey. I could probably search online sellers for something cheaper, but I just made the impulse purchase and added the case to my cart along with the tablet. The folio case appears to be pretty sturdy and has a good texture for gripping.

The magnet on the folio case feels almost nonexistant and makes it so that the stand comes apart easily and there are no adjustments to the stand. Overall was really disappointed in this case and felt kind of baited into buying it because of the $5 discount that was given when buying the case

Only complaint is the pre-installed games, there's no easy way to opt out of the tablet now also installing new games randomly every couple of days. I figured out it was the "appservice" that was doing this so I deleted it's cash and data and for stopped the app maybe I can disable it.

That could be my fault. I never attach them very well. I wish the case came in other colors. All that being said, I did get it free with rewards points from buying the M9. I wouldn’t pay $19.99 for it.

On the plastic protective cover enclosed I can't get the glue for the installation tabs off, still a stick spot. Dropped my tablet and a chip in the side of it, Doesn't protect anything but the corners. Wish I could of got a discount on the tablet WITHOUT the folio and purchased a fintie brand from Amazon separately.

The case is light grey and doesn't add much of any additional weight or bulk to the tablet when in use. There are two positions the case offers, a more vertical one which works well for watching movies, and then a raised position which basically is just the vertical position set flat. The case is made of a plastic which has somewhat sharp edges to it which I find a bit uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. It would be nice if the case had a pocket and softer edges, with maybe a strap to more easily hold the tablet.

I have found it has slipped open enough to allow documents to slip inside. I do wish that the tablet would 'sleep' when the cover is closed, but I guess this is a feature missing from the tablet and not the cover itself. The stand feature is great though for watching videos and reading. I'm thinking of adding a bluetooth keyboard to use this a way to deal with emails while traveling, as I don't care to mess with laptops as much. I think overall, it's a good cover and does the job it was designed for and would get another if I ever needed to replace it in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unimpressive It's a very nice looking case that fits perfectly. The sharp plastic edges make it uncomfortable to hold for more than a few minutes. When holding the tablet with one hand, the back tends to flop open. I quickly ordered an aftermarket case from Amazon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Purchase I tried a similarly-priced covers from Amazon because this was perpetually out of stock. When it finally showed up, and on sale, I picked it up on a whim. I'm so happy I did. The material is sturdy enough that it doesn't slide around when you've folded the cover behind the screen, and the folding stand is a good angle. I'm also happy to have a cover that *doesn't* have the magnetic sensors in the front, because this tablet is thin enough that other covers would constantly put the tablet to sleep when I have the cover folded behind the screen. I could quibble that it doesn't hold together well when attempting to use the folding stand at a shallow angle instead of a steep one, but all in all this was a good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much too practical and affordable to ignore. All my friends love it, they dropped their cell phones and didn't go for my Chromebook as some usually do. It starts quickly and easily just like your cell but with a comfortable size screen. A's to for this M9 Tab, the picture quality and resolution is quite good. Anything higher than this on a small screen would be a waste of money. It's lite weight so I can hold it up to my face and type messages or just surf for an extended time without getting tired. It's practical enough to use laying in bed, cooking and surfing, the park etc. Yet very capable and professional, I walk around with it at work. Not only to check emails or take notes and pics but it runs a version of MS Office, spreadsheets and reports and presentations (once connected to a projector, printer, controller or any Bluetooth device, so far it seems to work with everything. I asked my manager to authorize it for office tasks. I hate walking back to my office just to pull up a file or to press print one more time. It will play higher resolution games, good audio and sound hardware to play most apps. Unless you are amongst the younger crowd, this machine is for everyone. I have kept my laptop/Chromebook and my smartphone but this small 9" tablet has it's many uses. I noticed I accomplish more and it companies me to what was unusual places and I now use more apps to measure, cook, draw and so on. I couldn't before because this is smaller and lighter than a laptop but more capable than a smart phone. If AutoCad and FEA works on it, would say it's good enough for anything. I wonder if I could upgrade the hardware eg. RAM and static harddrive. It has a fast 3 GB of memory RAM and a micro -SD slot but I don't think you can install apps on an external drive. I'm comparing it to my old iPad mini (8.7' screen). This $140 machine stands tall with the best of them. If you've never owned a 'small" tablet before then it my require a small leap of faith to buy something that might not make sense (and that's if you already have a laptop and smart phone. You would have to try it to for a few months to get it.

As someone who has purchased cheap tablets for kids in the past this one is much faster than the other tablets, so far seems to be holding up through all the abuse my kid is putting it through.

I noticed grainy effect when watching some videos some more than others. It's also noticable in the homescreen especially if you're used to a high resolution tablet. I have an older Fire HD 10 (9th generation) with 1920 x 1200 pixels and I could tell the difference between that and this which has much lower pixels. It's a shame that they have lower pixels as I paid around the same price for the Amazon fire tablet about 6 years ago. Anyways if you don't notice of care about the screen resolution then this is an excellent tablet outside of that. Multitasking is great and it feels snappy for basic web tasks and applications

It doesn't provide good support when holding the tablet straight at around 70 degrees. A slight table vibration can make the folding slip. The other folding options work fine, but for everyday use, it has to be straight enough. The rest is personal: I didn't like the free screen protector that came with this folio case. I prefer the tempered glass type, so I wish there was one to buy from you at Lenovo.

It is very handy having a case that can be used as a stand, that can protect the screen and can be used to provide a means of gripping the Tab M9 tablet with minimal risk of touching the screen. The reason for only 4 stars is that the folio case comes with one (1) screen protector film, which is very challenging to install on the screen without a speck of dust or without bubbles. Lenovo should provide an extra protective film so that if the initial installation of the film on the screen results in bubbles, the tablet and the 2nd protective film can be taken to a kiosk or store where they have the tools and techniques for installing the film on the screen without any bubbles.

Tempered glass would be easier to install. I was hoping that Lenovo would have a folio case that closes with a magnet, but did not see any on their website. All in all, a good case that I'm happy to use for now. Bonus was it was on sale!

I had one from Amazon but it did not fit perfectly and I want to make sure I protect this device. It is a great small form factor tablet too by the way!

The reason being that other third party cases hold the tablet into a stand using magnets, this one just uses a thin line in the cover to hold it into place which can easily collapse at the slightest nudge. At least it comes with a screen protector which was unexpected.
