The earpads are very comfortable and the headset is sufficiently adjustable to work with my small head.

The pads over the speakers are soft, but they are not bulky, and that makes the headphone comfortable to wear. The height adjusts so you can adapt them to your particular head size. The microphone pivots out of the way and is made of a flexible "bend and pose" type of material so you can easily adjust how close you want it to your mouth. The box comes with an adapter/splitter as well for devices that require a separate headphone and microphone connection. The unit worked right out of the box and did not require any additional set-up with my device.

Unfortunately, it has a tendency to slide off my head; and it can be difficult to get the speakers properly aligned over the ears. Other than that, mic quality is average and sound quality is average.

The Ear Cups do not swivel and tent to slide off as you ears are not Flat against you heat and they barely expand enough to come down over my ears if I have it on over the top os my head. I hve to have them a little to the back which also compromises the fit and when I do that the Mike has a stop that wont let it come down to my mouth easily. OK for short meetings but would be uncmfortable for a long meeting for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Average - Good Value My actual rating is more like 3.5/5 stars. For the price that that they often go on sale for, these headphones are ok for someone looking to get a budget headset. They lack a bit in some departments though. Comfort/Build: The build on these headphones is actually pretty decent considering the price. It's mostly plastic, as expected, but it could be worse plastics used. The top part of the headband is a sort of smooth slightly grippy material(maybe rubber?, so it isn't just straight hard plastic on the top of your head. The pads are comfortable at first use, but they tend to cause pressure on my ears over more than maybe 30 minutes of use. Wouldn't suggest for long time use without breaks. The earpads are removeable and are not glued on, maybe you'll be able to replace them down the road as well. Sound: They are sort of veiled and hollow. The mid-range is congested and hollow, the treble is pretty linear for a product of this price, but it tends to be recessed. There isn't much of a bass response from these headphones, as they roll off pretty early. Their sound seems to be focused on allowing voices to come through, probably for phone calls. If you wear them with a slightly loose seal(move them forwards and backwards until you find the right spot), you can gain a bit of clarity and lose some of the hollowness. Like this, they sound passable, but definitely not going to beat higher priced headphones, if you prefer heavy bass, but they weren't really tuned for that. If you can EQ out some of the hollow mids around 1K, their treble isn't really harsh and fatiguing. Microphone: Sort of like the headphone's themselves, the treble on the microphone tends to be recessed. The microphone has a sort of muffled sound, but I could understand my voice clearly, and the microphone isn't really a harsh sound either. The microphone physically can both move up and down, but also can be bent/molded in certain directions, but it doesn't always keep its shape if bent too much. In terms of volume(which partially depends on your device), it had an ok amount of volume depending on where I positioned the microphone. The microphone tended to allow a lot of loud noises to pass through though, which may allow for varying microphone volume. Other notes: - My package included a 3.5mm splitter for devices that have separate headphone and microphone jacks, if you don't need the splitter, it will only be one cable. - The cable didn't really fit in the case of my phone, it's just ever so slightly too big. When I used the splitter cable, I was able to squeeze it into the case's cutout to get it to make a connection. - They didn't have a lot of stability on my head. Overall, for the price Lenovo asks for this product typically, it's an ok pair of headphones, but I wouldn't compare it to other brands, as its not perfect by any means, but you really get what you pay for here, maybe just a little bit more. It did come with some unexpected features/inclusions as mentioned higher up in this review. -

I can travel with it and I don't mind relying on the cable because I only use it with my laptop -- plus it means I don't have to mess with degraded performance (no batteries) when a meeting comes up. This headset is simple and some may say too old school, but it performs well, it's lightweight and , sturdy, and the price is right!

Using for Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings when I need to limit distracting ambient noise or to provide better focus in conversations. Headpiece is comfortable on ears but pressure is noticeable on extended wear. Microphone performs well for participants on other side of conversation and appreciate this version over the in-line mic which tends to cause noise when moved.

I use them for conversation and not for music or movies. I use them occasionally with my cell phone but only with certain models due to the sometimes short connector length. So I received what I paid for. They are not bulky, a single connector combining audio and microphone, the wires are solid, durable for transport in a carrying bag for PC. French translation Bon prix, solide, fiable pour la conversation. Bonjour. Quand j'ai acheté mes ''Lenovo Essential Stereo Analog Headset'' je voulais des écouteurs de base fiables à un bon prix. Je les utilise pour la conversation et pas pour la musique ou les films. Je les utilise occasionnellement avec mon téléphone cellulaire mais seulement avec certains models dû à la longueur du connecteur parfois court. J'ai donc reçu ce pourquoi j'ai payé. Il ne sont pas encombrants, un seul connecteur combinant audio et micro, le fils est solide, durable pour transport dans un sac de transport pour PC.

Work well and stand up to the abuse kids put thing through. They haven't complained at all about them and their teacher can hear them well. Fits well and are adjustable if I need to borrow them. Good price too.
