It almost feels kinda tacky when your writing, like its getting stuck to the screen a little bit. Also, if I write fast then it doesn't pick up all my markings or it distorts them a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Lenovo Digital Pen 2 I am in school full-time, a part-time teacher assistant as well as a content creator so finding the perfect laptop (Lenovo Yoga) was essential but having the luxury of a Lenovo Digital Pen 2 enhanced all skill from handwritten notes too signatures for school and work, editing videos and pictures for content creations and one of the key features is the bluetooth connectivity allows you to quick launch applications with one click. One of my favorite features are the side buttons that are shortcut functions for presentations making it easy to stroll up and down while working in class. This Digital Pen has more features than I can list in my review but I must say this was the best purchase by far. I absolutely love Lenovo products.

It seems like one of the buttons doesn't really work, but that might just be a user error. 100% better than trying to use a stylus or finger on the laptop screen, and since it has a pen tip, it makes writing and drawing so smooth. Definitely recommend.

In addition, I was just tired of all the ads. This Lenovo is a breath of fresh air!! It loads quickly, is much more like my phone in terms of a touch screen and the resolution is beautiful. I very much enjoy using this tablet and think it was a bargain for the features available at this price.

Sadly my Yoga didn't come with the Lenovo Digital Pen, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they're very affordable. I love that the pen can sit inside the official Lenovo Yoga Cary case/pouch. Inside the magnetic flap, there's a little holder for it. Color of the pen is a perfect match with my Yoga, which is nice too. The Digital Pen 2 is highly responsive and accurate, works exactly as expected (as a left handed user I was sire there might be some qwirks) and works well. I've not done any digital sketching with it yet, but a fair bit of writing. If the writing is anything to go by, again it's accurate and fast. Well worth picking up for productivity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, but incomplete. Pen works great, but I wish it came with spare tips and a tip pulling tool. They are inexpensive things that you'll almost certainly need anyway. I've yet to see another stylus of this type sold without. Even when they included the pen for free in the past, they included tips and a puller. Doesn't even come with the USB holder, which is a very inexpensive piece of plastic, but you'll want to have it. This is *the* model that works with my laptop according to lenovo, but it doesn't come with the accessories that you'd want to have with this laptop. Very odd.

The Pen wouldn’t keep a continuous line when drawing on the touchscreen which is a common complaint for this particular pen. The worst part was trying to speak to someone at customer service which was 2 hrs of being on hold and getting bounced between different departments. I eventually was sent back to someone I had already spoken to and just hung up. Even if the pen was good, I will never buy from Lenovo again because of the customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, feels cheap. For reference, I am comparing this pen to my Surface pro's (amazon) pen. First off, it functions great, works exactly as expected, my favorite part are the side buttons, something my off brand pen does not have. That said, I wish this pen had more weight. It feels light and cheap, simply adding weight would make the pen feel of higher value. A rechargeable battery would be nice too, this model requires AAAA battery's, which can be pretty hard to find. I also do not like the fact it has no magnetic connection so it will not rest on top, or aside my yoga when not in use and the lack of extra pointer tips is a letdown, my amazon came with two... All in all, a worthy investment. the pen works exactly as it should, it connects straight to my laptop with no issue, and is more accurate than I'll ever need it to be. I wish it were of higher quality feel, and available in other colors but that's me being nit-picky.

Only improvement is maybe add an LED light of some kind to show it connected/turned on because I was pressing buttons and looking at my bluetooth devices screen waiting to connect it not knowing if it was turned on or not. I found out it had already paired automatically after I had pressed the side buttons haha. I dont do art but writing is very easy.

I purchased the computer because I wanted a very portable solution that I could use as a tablet as well as a main computer thereby reducing the need to transport both on trips. The Lenovo pen was my second digital pen purchase and I found it to perform much better that the instrument that I purchased initially. I purchased the pen directly from Lenovo. I told the sales representative that make and model of my computer and asked for the most appropriate product to use with it. I have found that a good digital pen is extremely important when one is using the Yoga 7i as a tablet. The digital pen has performed as advertised and I am satisfied with my purchase.

The integration of the (standard, not extra cost option) keyboard permits easy transition to wireless keyboard use from docked/connected use. I do wish it could support exFAT memory, but it recognizes only FAT32, which is not how large memory cards come from the manufacturer...so support of FAT32 forces use of 32GB memory cards (or smaller), rather than permitting 128GB memory card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pen! Works with Lenovo flex 15" The pen works great! It's more reactive than my old one and is lighter to hold as well. The only negative that I have with it, is that its hard to hold. The pen is small and slick, its not very ergonomic when it comes to using it for drawing or writing. I am a little tempted to get a pencil grip and put it on the pen. Im also a little upset that lenovo did away with the clip on the side which made it easily attachable to the pen loop in my laptop bag. Now, when I put the new pen in it tends to slide out of the loop and "float" freely in the laptop bag. But other than those 2 things the pen does exactly what I want it to do, theres barely a delay time between my laptop and the pen, when applying pressure it draws beautifully reacting how a traditional pen or pencil would on paper.

Cons: Getting the pen to interface with my Lenovo IdeaPad Flex took a lot of trial and error. When writing in OneNote, I need to zoom far into the page for the writing to look fluids and not look jittery. I suspect that the pen is not overriding the touch feature and the IdeaPad is trying to read my hand resting on the screen while I'm writing. Overall I'm not impressed, but it gets the job done.

Upon arrival, the stylus didn't work, and after an hour-long chat with customer support (who did not understand the basic functionality of the stylus), I was told it's not compatible, please buy this other stylus, which is out of stock.

I like the possibility to pin the pen to my laptop (less chance to lose it). Unfortunately, you can't charge it by USB C, and the batteries are AAAA, but for now the battery doesn't need to be changed yet.

The pen immediately paired with the computer and no further installations and messing around was necessary. The design is much improved over the first iteration of it. The original pen had two battery sets: the AAAA and two tiny watch batteries. The battery compartment on the original pen had cracked and so the batteries were constantly coming out (and did not want to go back in the correct way). The new design does not have those goofy watch batteries, just a single AAAA one. And it simply screws on, without the push top to crack. Big design improvement. The first pen managed to last for almost 4 years. Hopefully this one lasts at least that long.

I kept being redirected to the automatic tech support bot and it did not help at all since the camera was defective, I was not using the laptop wrong. I like the computer other than that but as someone who uses Zoom a lot I found this extremely frustrating, especially for a $1000 purchase

It isn't built out of the nicest materials; the buttons feel cheap and are too easy to press; you can't use the bottom of it as an eraser; and it isn't great at drawing straight lines, but it works reliably and is priced fairly at $30 on sale. Plus, it works better the more you use it. Just make sure to keep track of it—I lost mine and had to buy a replacement.

I use a lenovo PC at the office, I made a great decision sticking with the same brand for my laptop and I'll definitely be sticking with them in the future. It was the latest pen to be released from Lenovo. The packaging was nice, it was minimalistic to say the least. Inside was a warranty guideline, a manual, a battery and the pen itself. At first, I was a bit skeptical, as the tip of the pen felt a lot similar to a nintendo DS/3DS stylus. The weight was feeling a little more distracting than most other styluses as well. Although, it was to be expected, as the description clearly states the weight, along with the fact that it houses a AAAA battery and other components of a digital pen. The more I used the pen, I felt more comfortable by the minute. For me, the weight helped me gain a bit more control over it. The slight give-in of the tip gave me the idea of how much pressure I'm putting into it, as well as the texture of the tip being easy on the surface of a screen. The tip also tilts slightly, allowing more dynamic movement of the pen. The buttons on the sides are also very soft, unlike most cheap styluses that makes them clicky. Along with many of its features, such as different levels, long lasting battery life and automatic sleep mode, I'd say this pen does wonders for its price!

Case doesn't bend or shake when typing. Case opens with one hand. Mouse pad large and smooth. Screen quality is amazing. Very bright. Shiny, though, so not the best if you plan to use in direct sunlight. Great battery life. Fast charging when you run low. Speakers sound great with Dolby atmosphere. Had to tweak settings a bit to adjust the factory sound which was a bit hollow. Processor fast and runs cool in this case and with installed fans. I don't challenge the processor very much with my work as I only tend to do data input, watch media, surf internet. All in all a great laptop. My last laptop was a yoga and I loved the form factor so decided to go with the same again. Very happy that I did.

The only downside is that the battery is not very common so I’m still looking for where I can find spare ones because it’s an AAAA battery. Just make sure that you check the compatibility of the any pen you want to get to know if it works with your laptop model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent digital pen This pen, while overpriced, does ok on its job. The problem I have with this pen is that it must be held almost vertically for it to write properly. The pen's tip has some travel inwards before it starts to write, which is why I have to hold it vertically. Also, the fact that it does not have any bluetooth functionality makes it unable to use Windows ink features properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the Price The pen works great with my Yoga 6 (AMD model). There is no noticeable lag and the pressure sensitivity works as expected. It uses a tiny AAAA battery, which could be seen as an upside of downside depending who you ask. There is a small flat spot on the end so the pen doesn't roll off a table, which is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incompatible I got this pen thinking it was compatible with my lenovo touch screen laptop because lenovo said it was. It turns out that it was not. Lenovo needs to make it very clear which of there products are compatible, and not lie to consumers about it. I bet this pen works fine if you magically have a compatible product, it seemed high quality. The only reason I think it would be 2 stars and not one is because lenovo customer service was good and the pen seemed to be high quality.

Our daughter loves to use to to draw pictures and play games where I have used it for multiple work projects. My only issue is that I was not able to purchase a compatible holder for the Flex 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was sold a dead battery or dysfunctional pen Bought this pen with the battery for my Lenovo tablet. I thought buying it with the battery would save me the hassle of buying AAAA batteries, but when I tried to use it after installing the battery, it did not work. The instructions show how to install the battery, but doesn't explain how it's supposed to connect to the tablet. There are no online instructions on how this is supposed to connect for this specific pen. I will return this product.
