Also, in trying it out on my first program (Inkscape), the actual image was inches out of sync with where I actually touched on the touchscreen. Terrible product.

The pen holder takes up a USB slot and doesn’t fit great. Wish it was magnetic and could clip on the side. The pen holder storage method is the worst part about it.

It is very easy to connect to my laptop, as it was a pretty much automatic process as soon as I put a battery in. Thankfully this package does include one AAAA battery for the pen.

It also connects instantly as soon as you touch it to the screen, so very easy to start using immediately whenever needed. I do wish however that there was an erase feature from the back of the pen, like how the Microsoft pen is, so that you wouldn’t have to set one of the two barrel buttons to erase.

I haven't figured out how to customize the buttons yet, but I haven't felt a need to. One button erases when you hold down and the other selects and area, which is all I need. The only drawback for me is the feel of the pen. It's incredibly smooth and sleek, which could definitely be a plus for some people, but I'm just not a fan of that sort of texture. I hit the buttons accidentally on occasion but not enough for that to be a real issue. I was also very happy that when my package arrived it already came with battery. I used the pen within the hour of receiving.

Would have loved for Lenovo to include a way to attach the pen to the laptop. There are inexpensive devices for this on Amazon. Highly recommended for the Flex 5.

Doesn't work at all, despite info on Lenovo's website telling us this was the model we needed. We purchased the laptop specifically because it was compatible with a stylus, which turned out to be impossible to find. We finally purchased direct from Lenovo, and it doesn't work. By now, the return window for the laptop has closed and we are out of luck. We are frustrated and disappointed.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it has only 1 USB port and doesn’t come with a stylus. And it takes some effort to find a compatible stylus from the website. I wish it was more like the older thinkpads which came with a stylus and built-in holder for the stylus, and 3 usb ports. Overall, great laptop.

I was so excited to use this with my Lenovo Yoga because of the tablet function but it is so laggy that I can't even write a couple letters in the search bar function without it dragging and making unfinished, jagged lines. I've updated the drivers, I've looked at the pen settings app (even though that wasn't necessary because this pen isn't connected via bluetooth), and nothing is fixing this issue

I tried out third party pens for my laptop that were more expensive than this but this works better. Delivery was fine, it came in the expected timeframe. Overall no complaints!

Wait for the sale price then buy two as backups - do it months in advance this is not an item that can be rushed. The shipping takes a long time, and you need to research if THIS pen works for YOUR device. The way they ship the UPS means you can not alter the delivery and tracking was inaccurate. If you use pen for school or notes, then having a backup is really important as the only way to get these is to order them - they are not sticked in stores.

It works fine on ms paint and writing on one note, but writing on top of pdf causes severe lags to the point of not being able to draw a straight continuous line. The pen does look premium and has a good tip. Including the battery was great as it is a rare kind of battery cell not readily available in stores. Thanks lenovo!

Bought the Lenovo Digital Pen 2 with it. I was a little worried that getting a 7-series would be disappointing vs the 9-series but it's not. The build quality is excellent. The performance is great. It's not the lightest laptop you can get but it's very reasonable and makes it feel solid. That's the sacrifice you make to get a 14". It's worth the extra bit of weight to get a nice big tablet screen and, more importantly, a laptop that's got a decent sized screen for general use. Pen performance has also been great. She's been using Microsoft OneNote which works surprisingly well. You can take pictures of written material with your phone and it will adjust/crop the notes to be flat and square and sync them to the free OneNote that you can then play with on the laptop. The only complaint so far has been that the power supply cable (USB-C) is a bit short. If your electrical outlet isn't on the desk or nearby, you'll need an extension. It's still 6 feet long (2m) but many of them are 7' or longer. So still decent but I think that a couple of extra feet of range is worth the hassle of a longer cable.

I didn't cancel because Lenovo does not refund purchases made with reward dollars and thus, I just kept the e pen. Haven't even opened the package, it is just collecting dust. I lost over 50 dollars to Lenovo with other cancelled purchases.

No real issues after a month or so of use. Pretty good palm rejection. I don't think any pen is perfect with that. Only actual issue is the bottom erase button sometimes stops working, but resetting my laptop fixes it. Love this thing

I had to phone the shop and even then I was gambling a bit - had to order 3 different pens to find this one. CON: The shipping policy was terrible (type of delivery that restricts delivery instructions either by UPS or Lenovo) CON: It took a month and a half because it came by a very slow boat direct from Asia, and buying online is the only option because you can't find these in stores anymore. Recommendation: IF your computer model is specifically listed and IF you already have a pen and need an inexpensive backup and IF you have time to wait THEN its a pen that does its job Its not the most comfortable or sleek, Its like a lifted hotel pen - nothing special but it writes just fine.

Very frustrating experience that ended with the pen being returned to the warehouse. They said they'd refund me for the trouble and guess what? Haven't gotten that either.

We wanted something where the screen could fold completely flat and be used for note taking in class. Overall the build quality is good, the pen input is accurate but the built in stylus is a little small for an adult hands. I recommend buying a second srylus. There are a few minor glitches I’ve observed: 1. When unlocking the computer while in tablet mode sometimes the screen inputs do not work for the pin, opening and using the keyboard always works. 2. When screen rotates from landscape to portrait sometimes there is a colour overlay on half the screen that takes a few seconds to Disappear. Overall satisfied with this laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, light machine, but slow, given specs. Great, lightweight machine. Seems to have good battery life. For a fast-clocked i5, it seems a bit sluggish - Is that because it is "EVO rated?" When plugged in, it should be much faster than it is, with 16GB RAM, i5 and an SSD. My first gen i5 desktop seems faster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement Pen Really nice product - not as heavy as the more expensive options and the tip isn't rubberized, however it worked with my Lenovo Yoga 7i immediately without any troubleshooting. I was using the Lenovo Active Pen 2 which was working intermittently (I have now solved that problem), however this pen was a good alternative in the meantime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tablet pen The pen that came with my Yoga tablet is so thin and jumps all over the place. This pen is wonderful! Fits nicely in your hand, easy to write with and works perfectly without any delays or jumps. I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weird compatibility with Windows 11 Windows 11 has a shortcut and side button but this pen has both top and bottom barrel button so it's kind of weird compatibility. But overall ok and works with Yoga 7i 16". Good pen for beginner. Pen shaft diameter a bit small.
