Rated 5 out of 5 by from Laptop Backpack This is a great little laptop bag for the price. It holds my thinkpad with no problem and has room for my basic accessories. Plus, it has one zippered pocket on the front, but once you open the zipper, it really has a big pocket for pens and such and also a smaller, shallow pocket for my keys and phone. Cons – it could use some more padding. I am very cautious about my laptop so I have it in a sleeve anyway, but I would be a little leery of throwing it in the bag without a sleeve. Value is great! I had a targus that was about the same size but was far more expensive and fell apart in about a year.

After numerous failures we decided to try getting a backpack from Lenovo, thinking they made the laptop so the bag should fit. Not only did the bag fit, but the straps are comfortable and easily adjusted and the zippers have a hefty quality to them that feels nice. This backpack is very simple, but in doing so it does the job needed, carrying a laptop and one to two notebooks, splendidly.

I use it for my Lenovo ThinkPad P52S, 15.6 laptop, which fits perfectly. The straps are ergonomically shaped and it's very comfortable, even when overloaded! This has no problems fitting a T450 or even up to a T480 without issues and is deep enough to lay my containers for breakfast and lunch. The bag is discreet enough to avoid attention of what I’m carrying. My only concern is the stitching holding the seems. Time will tell how long this will last. The straps have 0 padding at all and could become rather uncomfortable for use at long lengths. Definitely don’t recommend heavy lugging of items either. I had too much weight to fit in my luggage, so I ended up putting all my heavy items in this backpack. It was weighing almost 9 kg (~20 pounds)! I planned to carry it more than to use the shoulder strips but this was not possible all the time. I was very afraid the backpack would not resist this amount of weight, but was pleasantly surprised: it resisted with no visible signs of wear. (I wouldn't repeat the experiment though. I don't think it is made for carrying heavy loads.) I also like the simple design and that you can fit quite a lot of things without it looking bulky. The fabric in the images looks more taut and smooth than in real life.

Carries my 14” Lenovo laptop in padded area with Velcro stop, leaving room for a book, accessories case in main storage area in from of the laptop. Two smaller pockets in this main storage area make room for laptop charger in one and pens in another. Note there isn’t a dedicated pen loop inside. The front outer zippered pocket has worked for me for lunches with a cold pack but it isn’t insulated. The bag itself is very light and serves its purpose. I don’t commute using public transit - the bag sits in the back seat of my car. So I can’t comment on how it feels on my shoulders for extended periods of time.

The main compartment holds a laptop or two, keyboard, mouse, charger and its not even a third of the way full. The hidden front compartment actually goes all the way to the bottom of the backpack - not a typical small front pocket. You could probably fit four water bottles in there.

It's very compact, so while it does a good job holding additional items like wallet, keys, water bottle, and snacks, I can't fit a Tupperware without turning it on it's side. It's a bit disappointing considering I have long evening classes during dinnertime, but not a deal breaker. This backpack doesn't have a ton of padding, so I don't recommend it for anyone that is a bit rough on bags. I'd be concerned about electronics or glass containers breaking if treated carelessly. However, I haven't had any problems with it while commuting via public transportation. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

I took a star off to 4/5 stars because some of the seams are fraying after extensive business travel in November-December. That is like 5 business trips and it has loose threads so durability is questionable. Also a small note is that it is kind of noisy. At least noisier than my last backpack. But I like it otherwise very efficient and the inner pockets are awesome. Note: I entered this so that I would be entered in a sweepstakes.

One negative in that respect is that the front wall of bag is unnecessarily padded. For me, would prefer if only laptop portion padded. Also like the look of the bag.

My issue with it though is that the straps showing signs of breaking after a few days of using everyday. It's not as durable as I thought, sadly. It won't last long probably if I keep putting heavy stuff in it. But it's cheap so I don't really expect it to be high quality.

Using a regular gym backpack for a laptop can feel really bulky, with pockets everywhere and no real need for them for just taking my computer to the office. They all love this bag. After more than two months' daily use, the bag showed no wear and tear. Very satisfied with thie purchase. I am a loyal Lenovo customer and have laptops, mice, bags, earphones (wired and wireless), docks, mouse pad from Lenovo. Always satisfied with the quality of Lenovo products.

Quality is good; the material is sturdy and squishy enough to protect the laptop. Definitely serves the purpose of my commutes for me.

It's not heavy like some of the other bags out in the market and makes it a breeze to commute during rush hour. It's also very easy to take care of and has enough pockets to keep all your essentials like wallet, iPods, phone etc. Only drawback is that it does not have mesh side pockets like other bags.
