Doesn't work with most storage appliances
I couldn't get it to work with netapp, emc or IBM SAN storage appliances. Their documentation is lacking. I couldn't get it send a break on the IBM SAN.

I have dozens of these in production..
These work great for controlling video displays (ie TV's) for digital signage. I am using them for several makes/models of TV's without issue. They fire up using PoE and easily pass control strings to turn on/off, control volume, control video input, etc. The reviewer who gave them 1 star is probably not using the correct format. I'd recommend connecting the serial side to a computer running PUTTY until you get your codes correct. Anything you can type at a serial console can be pushed out of these terminal servers.
