The DataSMART T1 MAX Dual-port provides investment protection for growing networks. Use one port now for your data traffic and the second port as you add video or additional data CPE. The DataSMART T1 MAX Dual-port Add/Drop has a DSX-1 interface for add/drop connectivity to a T1/PRI PBX or a multiplexer. This capability allows voice, video and data to be integrated onto a single network service. DataSMART T1 MAX quad-port Add/Drop DSUs have enough ports to handle the more complicated voice, video and data integration applications. As a multiplexer for Frame Relay service, it allows up to four departmental routers to connect to the network and guarantees each department bandwidth and billing autonomy. It is also fully compatible with industry standards for T1 service.
