25 The instructions (cryptic set of photos with lots of words, but mostly meaningless) say that it is possible to reset the combination using the little slit on th eside. Kensington Customer Care representative claims that reseting is not possible (see comment on the left). Why the disconnect ?

I bought my combination lock to enable me to do research on a public library, or on an open environment, without the fear of getting my gear stolen. I have used it on any three of my computers --none the same brand--. The lock easy attaches and works flawlessly on all.

After reading the instruction, I hardly had to fumble with the lock. Once in its place the cable looks elegant.
15 I can't get it to work.

The manual is a worthless series of pictures that don't work for me. I got it to work once by resetting the combination and now it doesn't even allow that sequence. I'm taking it back today. Is it a one time deal? Are you suppose to put the word in during the reset operation? I have no idea.
