Does not work
Item does not work with my computers even though it should. Manually installed the driver too. Tried on two different windows 10 devices.

It works!!!
However, setup was a little tricky at first. It took Windows a little while to recognize it for what it was and needed to do (which is, "be a fingerprint reader"), but I got it working, and everything behaves exactly as it should. I won't deduct stars from it for the reason however, as Windows 10 can be a fickle beast.
The fingerprint reader is very small and out-of-the-way, so it doesn't take up too much space on the side of my monitor.
