Newer Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 laptops (2026+) feature proprietary USB-C® security slots that are incompatible with standard laptop locks, requiring the use of adhesive locking plates which can add bulk, hinder stability and leave sticky residue. Approved by Dell, the PortLock Combination Laptop Lock addresses these challenges by attaching directly to the specialised USB-C® security slot without requiring an adapter, preserving the laptop's slim profile and supporting full port access. PortLock's low-profile lock head prevents wobbling, while the pivoting design supports user-friendly one-handed attachment.
