  • for Juniper Networks SRX1500 Services Gateway
Efficiently and safely mount your Juniper Networks SRX1500 Services Gateway using this Juniper Networks Rack Mounting Kit. This rack mounting kit helps you ensure that your services gateway is evenly and securely supported to avoid hazardous conditions that could result from uneven mechanical loading. The following precautions help to ensure that the system remains stable. Install the SRX1500 in a rack that is secured to the building structure. Mount the services gateway at the bottom of the rack if it is the only unit in the rack. When mounting the services gateway in a partially filled rack, load the rack from the bottom to the top with the heaviest component at the bottom of the rack. If the rack is provided with stabilizing devices, install the stabilizers before mounting or servicing the services gateway in the rack. the Juniper Networks SRX1500 Services Gateway is a high-performance, low-latency firewall for distributed enterprise campuses and small to medium-sized data centers. The combination of hardware and software architectures on the SRX1500 delivers very high performance in a small, 1 U form factor. The SRX1500 performs ultra-fast, high-speed firewalling and intrusion protection that can extend to protect end-user devices. Firewall performance remains consistent across different application profiles and usage patterns. Unified threat management (UTM) and intrusion prevention system (IPS) capabilities make it easier to detect intrusions, enforce policies, and proactively mitigate threats to improve the user and application experience.
