JBL Tour One M2 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones is rated 4.40 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glass headphones I don't think I've done a quicker turn-around on my opinion of a product. Initially, they felt very comfortable, and the sound quality still has maintained through 3 months of usage. However, I have not a single good thing to say about the quality of the build. Quickly into usage, the outer band of the headphones (featured in photos) developed cracks. Because there's no supportive structure inside, when those go, the headphones basically break in half. I had to cover the Tour One in tape so the 8 or so cracks wouldn't ruin the headphones. There's also slideable tracks that let you adjust the headphones so they fit you well. It was very easy for them to slide off and letting the speaker hang limp, requiring me to disassemble the headphones to fix it. There's no way to reinsert them, other than doing a full tear down of the headphones or shipping it back. Worse, upon disassembly, there are numerous tiny plastic pieces that are instrumental to holding the headphones together that were already broken upon taking the headphones apart. These pieces function while in use, given how tightly they're meant to fit together. While held in that position, it's pretty durable. So as long as the incredibly easy to flex and break frame doesn't shift a millimeter, it should hold. If the frame does move, then there's a strong chance you wont be able to fix the 250$ headphones you bought a month ago. Don't consider these if you work out, like to wear headphones at the grocery store or college, or like to use them outside a perfectly preserved desk setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect if you need high quality noise cancelling The first thing I noticed when I unpacked the JBL Tour One M2 was the robustness of the headphones. Unlike my previous JBL, which I was also satisfied with, these headphones feel more solid and of better quality. The finish is also a bit fancier. The noise canceling is very nice. This works so well that sometimes I'm a bit hesitant when I use it. During a walk, I would like to hear a little more ambient noise. This is perfect for the plane, for example. The headphones can be operated via the (finely padded) ears. My experience is that I often accidentally come across it, which means that it doesn't work well for me. In conclusion, these are fine headphones with decent sound and perfect noise cancelling. I recommend him!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product ! After one month using this headphone, I really love it! The autonomy of the headset is extremely pleasant, it has a perfect noise cancellation, it delivers an excellent audio quality. It seemed heavy when I initially saw it due to the quality of the product but it is surprisingly lightweight. I highly recommend this product if you want good quality without being too expensive for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL Tour One M2 Noise Canceling Headphones Review JBL’s new Tour One M2 Wireless and Noise Canceling over-ear headphones have been released. These headphones come with True Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC) technology as well as JBL Spatial Sound effect. Noise Canceling is facilitated by using 4 noise sensing mics that adjust noise levels within your current surroundings. Spatial Sound is in place to give the listener a theater-like listening experience. It also has Smart Ambient Sound feature with which you can hear the sound around you. The Tour One M2’s look small when I took them out of their box. The ear cups are flattened out and sleek, with a black design. There is a glossy top edge adds a more “finished” appearance. The ear cushions are very comfortable with a slim look. Everything feels sturdy with just the right amount of flex and lots of adjustment in the headband. The ear cups also pivot, so it should suit all head sizes. The headphones are light, and softly cushioned so they shouldn’t be an annoyance during any long-distance trips. The ear cushions provide a tight seal around your ears, which helps provide plenty of passive sound isolation and keeps wind noise from interrupting the music. The hard-shell carrying case that comes with the headphones feels secure and well-made. You have to fold the ear cups in a specific way to sit them securely. There is also a pouch holding the included USB-C charging cable, 3.5mm cable and air travel adapter. I have to say that the sound quality is what you would expect from a JBL. The Tour One M2’s 40mm dynamic drivers deliver good audio quality out of the box. I did find while listening to a variety of tracks that the headphones did not offer a great amount of headroom as I found myself having to increase the volume levels. Bass tuning is very good but it is not overwhelming and does not distort at higher volumes. You won’t hear any overblown bass here. The midrange is right where it’s supposed to be and the treble is elevated without being intolerable. Movies, content, podcasts, and most dialogue sounded natural. The listening controls are primarily located on the M2’s right ear cup. A few taps will control tunes: once to play and pause, twice to skip a track, three times to go back. A tap and hold will trigger Siri, Alexa or Ok Google, too. These controls are pretty sensitive, which can lead to a few accidentally skipped tracks, but still preferable to pulling my phone out each time. The Tour One M2’s has a ton of features, like EQ, spatial sound, smart audio, and customizable gestures, but the most interesting one is Personi-Fi. This is effectively a hearing test that when completed, will personalize the sound based on your hearing. You can basically tune the sound signature to your ears, which other Bluetooth headphones have used before, but Personi-Fi gives you very detailed results. Lastly, there are the physical hand gestures that control ANC modes and playback. Setup is quick and easy, with a sliding switch on the right earcup both powering on the headphones and entering pairing mode. The Tour One M2 comes with Bluetooth 5.3 LE, ensuring a stable connection. Connecting the headphones is quick and easy, with almost instant pairing. JBL’s companion app allows for some serious customization. That includes adjusting the Adaptive Noise Cancelling, which uses four mics to react to changes in exterior sound. It’s reasonably quick to adjust, but you can still tell when the isolation levels increase or decrease in real-time. Overall, you can expect decent cancellation, however, some louder, more sudden noises can creep in. The Ambient Aware transparency mode is effective enough though. TalkThru lets you have conversations without removing the headphones. Taking phone calls is pretty painless, with algorithms cutting out most wind noise and a loopback option if you want to hear more or less of your own voice while chatting. I thought the Smart Talk feature, which cuts off the music when it hears a voice, worked well. You can pick between two Smart Audio and Video listener profiles, which are meant to fine-tune what is being listening to. Most of the in-app features cannot be customized beyond an ‘on/off’ switch. When it comes to battery life there are no complaints – it is excellent. JBL advertises that the Tour One M2 can last around 50 hours per charge and expect 30 hours with ANC enabled, though. I used the M2’s for a whole week without charging. From my experience, a roughly thirty-minute charge will provide an 80% top-up. Charging the Tour One M2’s for only ten minutes will enable five hours of listening. In summary, I have had limited use of headphones in general but, there are a lot of things to like about the Tour One M2. For me it seems like it has everything I want in a wireless headphone. It’s so full of features and personalization options, that it seems like there is something for everyone. The sound signature has a ton of customization with EQ and Personi-Fi, giving it a sound you can really play with. Battery life is also excellent, and the ANC is very effective. For me, the design, build quality, versatility, customization, mic, sound quality, and of course, the fact that they are a wireless, makes these headphones a worthy headphone contender for any reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built Headphones with some downside I got them now for almost two weeks and have been fairly satisfied. The headphones come with a practical Travel Case which is not the most compact one I've seen as it's quite thick in comparison to other headphone travel cases out on the market. The Case is good and functional and comes with a pouch inside where you can easily store your cables and adapters for the headphones. Coming to the headphones themselves: First of all, the build quality is excellent, the headphones look and feel very premium with the glossy finish and the soft padding around the ears. All the buttons are very clicky and I find it very convenient that the power button is a switch and not a button like on other headphones. They are a bit heavier than other competitors but still lightweight. One thing I noticed are the smaller earcups in comparison to other headphones I've worn. That also reflects in the overall soundstage. I experienced the sound stage being more on the narrow side. Speaking of sound, out of the box the JBL Tour One M2 are tuned towards lightly emphasized bass and highs where latter in my opinion is a bit overdone. Luckily with the JBL Headphones App you can personalize the overall sound to your likings. When removing a little bit of the highs and lower bass frequencies while also boosting a bit the mids the headphones are in a good position soundwise. I also find it quite nice that you can choose which exact Frequency you want to equalize. With that, the headphones deliver a quite impressive low end around 40Hz. There are plenty of functions available via the App, but I barely used the Spatial Sound feature as it boosts some higher mid frequencies and makes voices sound weird. But the spatial aspect of it is really working besides the weird sound. Noise Cancelling: It can't keep up with the best out there on the market but it is very effective in canceling out continous noises. One thing I noticed is that the earphones screech sometimes when the microphones are (maybe?) at their limit. That happend twice until now and wasn't really pleasing for my ears. The AmbientAware Feature is also very helpful when walking around and can be set to different levels through the app. Only the TalkThru Function is making the voices sound like being on a phone call, so I almost never use that. Maybe this can be further improved in the future? Furthermore I experienced the wearing detection being unreliable sometimes, as it somehow struggles to detect me wearing the headphones so the touch controls are somehow disabled. Then I need to take them off and put them on again to make that work. Maybe long hair is a problem? :D Another downside would be that the AUX Input on the headphones is somehow smaller than the usual 3,5mm. Adding to that would be the lack of high quality codecs for Bluetooth Transmission. On my Google Pixel 6a I only get to use AAC which I assume is the best codec available for the JBL Tour One M2. Maybe a better codec such as aptX or LDAC would have been nice to see on such high end earphones. Overall quite a good pair of headphones with the possibility to personalize the sound to your likings, while missing out on some things which I would expect in that price range such as the audio codec or a normal 3,5mm to 3,5mm cable for wired transmission. Also the need of an app to get to use all the functions is quite finicky as I experienced the app having issues connecting to the headphone sometimes. I hope that JBL fixes these connection issues with the Android App in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Immersive Sound and Supreme Comfort As someone who listens to music many hours a day, I can confidently say that the JBL Tour One M2 headphones provide an excellent audio experience. The sound is absolutely breathtaking, delivering clear highs, rich mid-tones, and a crisp bass that's not too overpowering. It's truly a pleasure to listen to music through these headphones. Although the active noise-cancelling (ANC) of the JBL Tour One M2 headphones performs well, it could be slightly better. I sometimes had trouble blocking out all disturbing noises in loud environments. However, this is only a minor issue compared to the great sound these headphones provide. Another highlight of the JBL Tour One M2 headphones is the customization. You can customize the headphones with the JBL app and adjust the equalizer to suit your personal taste. There are also different sound modes to optimize the audio experience. In terms of comfort, the JBL Tour One M2 headphones are incredibly comfortable. The ear pads are soft and fit perfectly around the ears. The headband is also very comfortable and does not dig into the head, even when wearing the headphones for hours on end. Overall, I can recommend the JBL Tour One M2 headphones to anyone looking for an excellent audio experience and willing to spend a bit more money. They offer great sound quality, excellent customization, and high comfort. The ANC could be better, but this is a minor issue that does not affect the overall great impression of the headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp and comfortable. Effective noise cancelling Crisp and comfortable! I LOVE THESE! These headphones are super comfortable and effective noise canceling. They also look as sharp as they sound. If you lift an earpiece, it automatically pauses the audio. I can't wait to try these on a flight. I love that it comes with accessories to connect via audio cable, including a double 3.5mm adapter.

The call quality is exceptional, and I've had no issues with clarity or background noise. The voice control feature is incredibly handy, allowing me to manage calls and control my music using just my voice. It's a convenient hands-free option that adds a layer of sophistication to these headphones. Battery life is another area where the JBL Tour One M2 truly shines. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premium headphones which exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for premium headphones, then this product is an excellent choice. I found it to be very comfortable, especially when I use mine for long periods of time. The clamping on your head is not too tight or loose, so you get the perfect balance, hence why it is so comfortable to wear. I liked the balance between the touch sensitive and physical buttons. The buttons allow you to turn the headset on/off, volume control and switching between Ambient sound and ANC. The touch sensitive functionality allows you to control music, calls and watching videos. Ensure you download the JBL app onto your smartphone device, as this will allow you to customise how you want to listen to calls, songs and videos. You can even adapt the sound for each ear via the "personi-FI" option, as my left ear is slightly weaker than my right. So when I did this, it was balanced the sound perfectly for me. The ANC function which is very important for me, as I tend to work in noisy environments, so being able to concentrate with ANC on was another huge plus point. I have used and own many headsets which are renowned for having good ANC, and the JBL M2's are on par. This was something I wanted to test as I have been disappointed by other models outside of JBL which did not provide the minimum level of ANC I need, so well done JBL for exceeding my expectations on this model. The battery life was also a positive, with medium to high usage I did not have to charge my headphones for at least 5 days, which compared to previous models at the same spec, was much better than I expected. When I used for just calls, people talking to me could be heard clearly and without any signs of drop in call quality, as the background noise around me could not be picked up, so the headphones zoned in on me speaking and nothing outside of that. In summary, if you are in the market for premium headphones, I would look no further than this model at the price range it is currently in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and comfortable - could do with an upgrade After using these headphones for the last week i have a mixed opinions for these headphones. They were easy to connect and setup and the app is quite easy to use. The active noise cancellation is quite good but still sound comes through, when comparing to some other headphones I use. The most disappointing aspect of these headphones is the Bluetooth codex. These headphones are not capable of using LDAC and can only use AAC. So, I am unable to get the most out of lossless audio. The headphones are comfortable and are very light. The control on the headphones are easy to use and comes with various audio cables to connect to different devices which is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing pair of headphones from JBL The JBL Tour One M2 are premium headphones offered by JBL that are packed with features. They are very innovative and have a ton of features to play with. First they come in a very sturdy box that upon opening give a great presentation. The headphones were packed very well inside the box in its hard case. The case is very premium feeling and when unzipped show the actual headphones. The top portion of the case has a Velcro pocket that housed the instructions, headphone Jack wire and a very premium airplane adapter. A very nice, flat usb A to C adapter is included to charge the headphones. The actual headphones are folded nicely into contoured portions of the case making them very secure while in the case. The headphones themselves feel exceptional. Build quality is top notch while utilizing a series of different materials. These feel like they will last a lifetime. Ear cups swivel flat so they can easy stay around your neck if you take them off of your ears. Each ear cup houses a series of microphones to give you superior calls and noise canceling features, as well as talk through and ambient awareness. You can switch through the smart ambient awareness and noise canceling by the button on the left ear cup. The right ear cup has a sliding power/ pair button and the volume controls. The right ear cup is also touch sensitive allowing you to utilize your smart assistant of your choice. You can also program different tasks through the JBL headphone app making these very customizable. Utilizing the JBL app allows for further adjustability. There is your different noise canceling features such as adaptive noise canceling, ambient awareness and a talk through function. The active noise cancelling is excellent. I went for a bike ride while using these and all I was able to hear was my music. No wind or loud noise from the roar of my knobby bike tires which can be heard from far distances. A touch of the smart button changes noise canceling to either talk through or ambient awareness. This is programmable in the app. There is a fully adjustable equalizer in the app allowing you to customize the sound to your liking. By using the person-fi 2.0 function, you can adjust the headphones to be perfectly balanced and give you the correct amount of output through an actual hearing test which takes a few minutes. The headphones test for sound leaks and adjusts accordingly. I used these one day while mowing my lawn and the headphones automatically adjusted once I turned on my mower. They eliminated all outside noise again allowing me to enjoy my music. While using these at work I enabled the voice aware feature. This feature lowers the music and turns on the talk through feature when I start talking without touching any buttons. You can adjust the length of how long the feature stays active. Another very useful feature is that you can use the headphone to give you complete silence to help you sleep in noisy situations. Another feature that is offered in the app. Low tone enhancer is available as well as the spatial audio. Spatial audio makes what your listening to sound a bit more immersive. You can adjust the spatial audio for different listening applications. You can adjust it for music, movies, and for games. I particularly enjoyed this feature for watching movies. It created a very immersive sound for movies once enabled. The JBL Tour One M2 have a very warm sound. They are not very loud or bass heavy. They are well balanced and offer an enjoyable listening experience. Being over the ear style and being a flagship headset I was expecting more volume out of these. I did hook these up with the headphone wire to my high end headphone Dac and amp. Doing this woke the headphones up. They handle power and can get extremely loud without distorting at all. I feel this headset would be great for a DJ for this reason and for the fact the ear cups swivel. I love how the drivers move so much that it actually tickles my ears. You can feel the music. Complete ear candy is what these headphones are. High-res audio is truly amazing to hear with these headphones. You hear all of the details of your music with these. I have to say that I am truly enjoying these headphones. I have charged them upon opening them and haven’t charged them since. I have used them daily for the past two weeks for at least 2-3 hours a day and they still have 75 percent charge. I don’t listen to them with the volume maxed out, but battery life is very impressive. Charging for 10 minutes gives you 5 hours of listening. You get more battery life with active noise cancelling off but I continue to use the feature while experiencing great battery life. The fact that I forget I have these on for hours because they are so comfortable is great. They are very light and don’t squeeze my head at all. For the price they are asking for the headphones you get a ton of customizable features, superior sound and exceptional build quality. You won’t be disappointed with these headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, great feautres, poor audio Here's a honest review. These are super comfortable headphones loaded with great features, which rival any the best headphones on the market. But, and this is a big but, the actual audio experience is really poor. I bought these, along with the Bose 700 and QC, and tested them out. Music, and movies to the same extent, just don't sound good here. I tried all the different settings and dialing in the EQ, but the audio always sounded distant, muffled or muted, depending on what mode your in. At it best, music started to sound good when the volume was turned up to around 70%, which really isn't good for your ear in the long run. Next to the Bose, these headphones struggled to produce a rich, detailed listening experience. Games in Game mode sounded downright awful. The audio was high pitched and tinny with lots of reverb. And if you play games and listen to music at the same time, you're not going to have any good options. The design and features are great, but JBL needs to improve the audio experience if it wants to rank amongst the best headphone makers today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for DJ’ing! As a DJ who's always on the hunt for great new gear, I was eager to try out the new JBL Tour One M2 headphones. Right out of the box, the sleek and modern design impressed me - the M2s look like high-end pro headphones. The build quality feels solid with steel reinforced headbands, leatherette ear cups, and smooth swiveling action. I was thrilled to put them on and start spinning some tracks. The sound quality blew me away! The 50mm dynamic drivers deliver amazing clarity across the entire frequency spectrum with deep, powerful bass that doesn't overpower the mids and highs. The active noise cancelling is some of the best I've tried, providing a true seal that blocks out even loud club noise. The Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity was quick and stable during my mobile DJ gigs, easily pairing with various devices up to 15 meters away. The auto on/off feature was convenient for quick tracks changes on the fly. The onboard mic and controls made it easy to mix, cue tracks, and take calls without removing the headphones. At under 400g, the M2s remain comfortable during long sets thanks to the well-cushioned headband and ear cups. The claimed 30 hours of battery life per charge proved accurate too. For DJs seeking professional quality audio, comfort, and ease of use, the JBL Tour One M2 should be at the top of your wish list. They deliver phenomenal sound with useful features in a stylish and durable package that's built to perform. At around £200, they're a smart investment for serious DJs on the move.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but almost too smart for its own good Got these a few weeks ago, nice finish and feel sturdy. Feel a lot lighter on the head than my Sony XM3’s. Though the inside of the ear cups feels smaller, I can feel the top and bottom of my ear touching where I don’t on the Sony’s. Audio quality is good on my iPhone, the personifi settings took a while to get through but seem worth it so far. The additional features through the app though don’t make them that good at switching which is a shame as the multipoint connection is really handy. Can connect to my phone and pc easily but when it’s on personifi mode with smart audio enabled watching anything on the pc has a weird and almost bad quality to it. The sound is like it’s in a chamber. I’ve reset all the settings which fixed the issue with the pc. Phone audio is still good on default settings but I am working my way through each one again to find the best fit without having to go back into the app each time as it defeats the purpose of the multipoint system in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Headphones so smart they are stupid. This is by far the worst 300eur I spent on any product ever. The constant cackling sound in the left ear makes listening to soft and classical music impossible. Research on the net tells me I should check bluetooth, restart, reconnect etc. i did all of that. The fact is, the sound is there even without connection, by simply switching them on. So the only way to listen to music is by disabling ANC which defeats the purpose of buying them in the first place. JBL tried to make the headphones so smart they actually made them stupid. And don’t get me started on adaptive ANC. Horrible experience. Sound changes constantly from deep bass to no bass to treble to …you get the jist. Horrible horrible product. Sony headphones for 15eur make better sound. By simply making it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL Tour One M2: Exceptional Noise-Cancelling and The JBL Tour One M2 wireless headphones are truly outstanding in every way. The noise-cancelling feature is superb, and it's a game-changer for listening in noisy environments. I particularly love using them on the couch in the evening when there's chatter around me, or when my partner is on the phone next to me, and the headphones block out all of the background noise perfectly. In addition to the excellent noise-cancelling, the battery life is outstanding, lasting over 40 hours on a single charge. This is a real advantage for long trips or extended listening sessions without needing to worry about running out of battery. The comfort level is also excellent. The ear cups are well-padded, and the headband is adjustable, making it easy to find the perfect fit. The headphones are also well-made and feel very sturdy, giving a sense of quality and durability. Overall, the JBL Tour One M2 headphones are an excellent choice for anyone looking for exceptional noise-cancelling, long battery life, and a comfortable, high-quality listening experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointing I bought these headphones for traveling. They did not get loud at all. I could not hear the music over the plane noises. The noise cancellation was subpar and the “spatial audio” was nonexistent. I am very disappointed. I expected better from JBL. I returned them after one use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp Audio, Great Features Very pleased with this product. Fantastic audio quality and range (especially the highs and bass). I especially love all the customization features you can access in the app, like the ability to change the tapping/button controls. The coolest setting is called "SmartTalk". it's able to detect when you're speaking and automatically turn Talkthru on, and then continue playing music after a few seconds of not speaking. There are tons more - you can spend hours exploring the app and the features. The physical design isn't too different from the previous version, but the case is significantly better and it has an extra microphone to detect ambient noise, making it better than the previous model at noise cancellation. I have a couple of minor things worth mentioning. 1) As someone with a smaller head/ears, the shortest length setting of the headphones can feel like it's still sitting too low on my ears if it's not sitting on the peak point of my head. 2) The maximum volume isn't the loudest. While the quality of sound is great, I'd love it if it had a higher volume capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best JBL Headphones I've Heard I’m going to start with the conclusion: these are the best JBL headphones I’ve ever heard. The first thing I'll say is that these are some good-looking headphones! When I opened the box, I was really impressed. The ear cups are sleek and smooth matte black, with a gloss black outline where the yokes attach to the ear cups. This little touch makes them look really classy. The leather on the headband and ear cups is soft and the padding is supple. The headphones are light with ample clamping force, which is a welcome change from the Club One headphones from a few years ago, which were much bulkier, heavier, and felt tight after even moderate listening sessions. I feel like I could wear the Tour One M2 all day – they are supremely comfortable, probably the best JBL has ever had. There’s no mistaking these are JBL’s flagship cans. The Tour One M2 supports Bluetooth 5.3 LE and connecting to my iPhone 13 Pro was a piece of cake, pairing almost instantly. Battery life is very good. With ANC enabled I got just about 30 hours of playtime, but without it turned on I still had battery left after 48 hours. Charging via USB-C for ten minutes gets an additional five hours of listening. ANC was solid, especially filtering out the low frequencies. I took these on a flight to Boston and was really impressed. In my opinion there was very little difference in the music with ANC on or off – thank you JBL! One nice feature is SilentNow, which disconnects Bluetooth and turns on noise cancelling, essentially setting you up for a nice nap. You can set the start time, duration, and whether you want it to wake you up. Another feature I really like is called Personi-Fi, which allowed me to create my own personalized audio profile. The app does a test that measures how well you hear a series of recorded beeps at different frequencies for both the left and right ear. Based on the results, the equalizer adjusts to correct for any deficiencies. For me, I have a pretty severe dip in the upper-mids in my left ear and I noticed a marked improvement with the feature on vs off. Others might prefer to keep the sound as-is. All the features aside, the most important thing for me in a pair of headphones is the sound. I started with a high-res download of the Steven Wilson 2017 remix of Chicago’s second album, Chicago II. I figured a classic 70s jazz-rock, horn-centered album would be a great test and Steven Wilson is a master. The acoustic guitar is tight and nuanced, bass is punchy without being boomy, horns and cymbals were crystal clear. It obviously sounded better running wired through a Schiit Fulla 3 DAC but I’ve got no complaints about the sound when running wireless. I turned to Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon next and was just as impressed. Clarity is key, and I was able to hear every beat, every note, every texture. Rick Wright’s amazing piano work on “The Great Gig in the Sky” especially stood out. The highs and mids are clear and detailed, the bass is tight and where it should be (bassheads expecting BOOM might want to look elsewhere), and the soundstage is spacious with a nice sense of depth without sounding artificial (note: I’ll add here that JBL’s Spatial Sound feature on the app did make it seem artificial). And this is where we came in… I am over the moon with these headphones. Noise cancelling was on point, the sound was classic JBL hitting all the right notes, and they’re super comfortable. A clear winner from JBL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort, Sound Quality, and Powerful Bass These headphones offer an amazing audio experience, combining comfort, excellent sound quality, and powerful bass. They provide an impressive listening experience but have an occasional minor inconvenience. Let's start with comfort. The Tour One M2 headphones are a pleasure to wear for extended periods of time. The earpads cushion my ears perfectly, without causing any discomfort. JBL has truly prioritised long-lasting comfort with this model. When it comes to sound quality, the Tour One M2 headphones excel. The audio is crystal clear, allowing you to hear even the most delicate details in your favourite tracks. The balanced sound ensures that every genre sounds fantastic. Whether you're a fan of intimate acoustic melodies or bass-heavy electronic beats, the Tour One M2 delivers a truly excellent experience. Bass enthusiasts will find these headphones particularly appealing. The deep bass adds an extra layer of excitement to your music without overpowering the rest of the sound. You'll enjoy a very impressive listening experience, especially with bass heavy tracks. However, it's worth mentioning one minor drawback. Occasionally, the active noise-canceling feature can unexpectedly switch into pass-through mode, even when there's no conversation or external sound present. While this occurrence is infrequent and doesn't significantly impact the overall performance, it can be mildly annoying when looking for uninterrupted noise cancellation. Overall, the JBL Tour One M2 headphones deliver exceptional comfort, impressive sound quality, and powerful bass. With their sleek design and impressive audio performance, they are a great choice for music enthusiasts. While the random switch to pass-through mode can be a minor annoyance, it doesn't overshadow the overall excellence of these headphones. If you value outstanding comfort and audio quality, the JBL Tour One M2 headphones are definitely worth considering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Noise Cancelling I am currently sitting through an apartment fire alarm. No worries this place has them almost weekly but it’s 20 degrees outside but the noise cancelling is helping me weather the alarm. Highly recommend these, also quite comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Autistic life savers! I've had these for about a month and as an Autistic adult, the noise cancelling on the headphones is astonishing! When I am overwhelmed by sensory stimulus, I am able to wear the headphones with no additional audio and just the noise cancelling on. This is incredible and means I now take them everywhere as I can stay in public situations for much longer than usual! The sound quality is superb and I can hear podcasts over the deafening bass of terrible dance music at the gym. The design is incredibly sleek and the headphones look great and fold down easily to store within the protective case. My only issue with the headphones is the outer menu options. When I raise my arms or stretch at the gym, my arms tend to tap the outside of the headphones and this stops whatever I am listening to! I haven't researched whether this function can be disabled or not but it's a small price to pay for such exceptional sound quality and comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, spatial sound is amazing! I bought this and up to date I'm not disappointed! I read many reviews with negative comments with one or two stars. I was skeptical about buying the M2 in the beginning. I'm so excited that I did not fixate myself on such negative reviews. I love listening to music and love watching movies!. With the spacial sound the M2 provides, watching movie experience has become more enjoyable and more of an amazing experience! Not to mention the sound. I can go for ever, but u need to try it for yourself! In regards to the sound being too low or subpar! C'MON , really? All you have to do is increase the volume a bit more. I keep the volume below the middle ( volume bar) I don't want to go deaf. I want to continue to listen to great music and continue watching movies. The phone calls are Crystal clear! I have no problems listen to whom I'm speaking with and the person I'm speaking to has no issue hearing me nor understand me! Only twice I had a high pitched nuisance noise after I ended a phone conversation. It went away after I turn off and turned the headphone back on. Since that encounter, such discrepancy has not manisfested itself again. Again, this and great product! I have a Sony xm4, a Sennheiser Momentum 4, and a Bose Quiet comfort, but the jbl M2 is my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best headphones!!!! These JBL TOUR ONE M2 wireless headphones exceeded my expectations! First of all, I already own some wireless headphones and also earbuds, but can’t say that I have been very happy with mine, so I was on a lookout for new headphones. Appearance: these headphones come in a very stylish case that has inner pocket for storing charging cables. The pocket is so discreet, that I only found it after whole week of using headphones! Headphones are very sturdy and well made. They look very expensive and stylish. Beautiful black colour with elegant metal trimmings. Headphones are easily paired with your phone and you just need to download JBL app to personalise your music experience. You can choose options such as: jass, studio, bass etc. Headphones have easily accessible and straightforward controls. You able able to lift your headphones off your ears to pause music. You can choose noise cancelling mode, that I really enjoyed when commuting to work on a crowded bus, or if you want to be aware of your surroundings, you can change setting to Ambient aware mode. I love that these headphones come with 2 cables, standard charging one and an audio cable, that you can use, so would be great to use on the plane, instead of cheapy flight headphones you get! Headphones can be paired with Alexa and Google for voice control, which is mind blowing!!! They have great battery life around 50 hours and they charge up very quick. As I said in the beginning of my review, these headphones massively exceeded my expectations, as on top of having brilliant sound, they are so easy to use and make enjoying music experience so much better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch! JBL literally humiliates companies selling 'HIFI' products at unreasonable prices by making this wonderful headphone. Top notch sound quality and industral design. Very immersive audio experience. Just a little bit wobble sound when it comes to high level LF. I think my T1 2nd has a little more realism for instruments, but JBL lets you sink into music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Troubled experience Bought these soon after release and ran into a problem. Whenever connected wirelessly with ANC on there would be a very unpleasant distortion sound from the right earphone almost like someone is scratching the mic. I proceeded to get a replacement pair and ran into the same issue. I’m not sure if both pairs were faulty or the problem needed to be resolved through a future update but for this price point I shouldn’t run into these kinds of problems. (I did troubleshoot with different headphones and different sources of connection and the problem still persisted.) As far as the features go they’re good but not great to justify the price. Most features are more gimmicky than useful. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big sound in a small package Here is a 150 word summary of the review: The JBL Tour One M2 are a stylish pair of noise-cancelling headphones offering excellent audio quality and long battery life. With 40mm drivers, they deliver detailed sound across genres like rock and metal. The headphones have effective active noise cancellation that blocks out ambient noise very well, even on planes. Battery life is strong at 30 hours with ANC on. They are comfortable to wear for long periods thanks to the soft padding. Key features include touch controls, voice assistant support, and Bluetooth multipoint. Sound quality is dynamic and balanced, with punchy bass and clear mids and highs suited for guitar music. Small downsides are bass could hit harder for some genres. But overall the reviewer found the audio performance extremely satisfying. The JBL Tour One M2 provide a premium listening experience in a portable and stylish package.

The audio is crisp and immersive, and the active noise-cancellation works brilliantly to block out distractions. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality and feel good I've been wanting to try some decent headphones and think I have found a good set. Good quality and comfortable to wear for a long period of time and to wear on the go especially at the gym where I find them to be more useful. From just tapping the headphones you can pause and skip songs and you can opt to have phone notifications through Google assistant so you don't need to constantly get out your phone. You can also download an app which I'd recommend to get the most out of the headphones where you can tune the equalizer and play with different modes such as talk, ambient or silent. You can put ambient mode on by a push of a button on the headphones too. The headphones aren't crazy loud and do feel limited but are loud enough to enjoy. Overall they are well built and good quality headphones and I'd recommend them for everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't want to it take off anymore I was impressed by the luxurious feel of the packaging of the JBL Tour One M2. It comes with a hard case for protection when travelling. The sound quality is clear and crisp. I take a 1,5 hour train ride that can get quite crowded to work every day, and the noise cancelling is a lifesaver. The cushions feels very comfortable and fit perfectly around my ears. I wear glasses and can wear the headphone all day without any pressure or discomfort. I've connected the headphone to my laptop, phone and tablet, which is super convenient as I can easily switch between tasks. I use it to listen to audiobooks, attend work meetings, make phone calls, and to listen to music/podcasts. The battery life is impressive and I do need to charge, it only takes a short time. The only downsize I've experienced is that the top part of the headphone can move a bit because my hear is so glossy. And also, it doesn't come with an adapter, but I have plenty of those at home, so it's not a big issue for me. Overall, I would highly recommend the JBL Tour One M2 to anyone who is looking for a high quality headphone with excellent noise-cancelling features, long battery live, and very good sound quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, comfort, and technology features! These headphones are spectacular! The sound quality is amazing. Whether using them to watch a video, listen to music, or while on a call, the sound quality is great. The noise cancelling technology is a real bonus and allows you to truly focus on what you’re doing in loud places. This feature makes it great for important work calls or if you just want to drown at the noise while working out at the gym. Another great aspect of these headphones, are the comfort. I am not usually the biggest fan of over the ear headphones like these. However, I have been nothing but extremely comfortable while wearing these headphones and even after wearing them for hours at a time. On top of being comfortable, they also are adjustable which allows you to make sure they’re tight on your head when doing something like working out or going for a walk/run. The voice aware / smart talk feature is another incredible part of these headphones. The ability to set yourself reminders among other things without even having to reach for your phone is great. The ability to change volume and pause your song/video from the touch of your fingers to your headphones is incredibly convenient. The last key feature of these headphones is the battery life. I have never seen headphones with so many features have a battery life of this long! The sound quality and comfort on these headphones alone makes them great. However, when you add in the super long battery life, voice aware technology, and noise cancellation technology, these are truly amazing headphones!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I’ve been a studio musician since the 70’s and have been blessed with using some of the finest, most accurate and most musical sound reproduction equipment available. JBL has absolutely hit it out of the ballpark with the Tour One M2 headphones. I’ve been using the Quincy Jones Edition studio headphones for a while now but the M2s have taken it to another level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones, excellent sound quality I have not had such excellent quality headphones before, the JBL Tour One M2 is a pleasure to use and I’m still learning what it can do and how good it is. The connection to the app is really helpful as the basic instruction pamphlet just gives a cursory mention of the controls. A very detailed guide is provided by the app. The sound quality is superb as it lives up to the details given. The buttons on the exterior are easy to reach and use and exterior sounds are blocked out this enhancing the sound quality and performance. Phone calls can come through pausing the music and are crystal clear. Finally an excellent piece of equipment with a good battery life which enables a good length of listening time. I am really pleased with these headphones and believe they are an excellent purchase, one I would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COMFORTABLE with decent, satisfying sound. I only have one other headphone to compare this to, a Yamaha YH-L700A, which sounds so darn good(& more expensive) but I wanted something more comfortable and not as bulky to wear and the JBL Tour One M2 delivered. Super comfortable around the ear and much lighter as well which is more ideal when it comes to bringing it out in public. My Yamaha pair sounds a lot better with more fancy features, but I am happy with this JBL pair to use more on a daily basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super! This wireless headset has a high wearing comfort. For me, the biggest advantage is that multiple devices can be connected together. For example, my cell phone is connected together with my laptop and I listen to music through my cell phone and can still easily record my team calls. The battery life according to the package is 50 hours. I also think I can really get there. I always use the active noice cancelling at work. What is a very big advantage is the automatic switching off of the active noice cancelling the moment I get a team call. As a result, I don't have the tendency to talk too loudly. What other colleagues sometimes do when their noice cancelling is active. The storage bag with all the necessary connections makes it convenient to take the headset with you at all times. Another advantage outside of bluetooth you can still listen to music via cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality The JBL headphones are nice looking headphones and look well built and seem to be very solid. They have great sound quality. The app is very good and easy to set up and use. You can go through lots of different settings to adjust things like the bass and equaliser. You can choose different settings like club, jazz, vocal and studio and you can also choose your own settings in the equaliser which I liked. You can change the spatial sound settings so you can adjust for watching tv or movies, music and gaming. Within the app you can adjust the gestures that you use on the side of the headphones to your own personal taste e.g. double tap to change track or pause etc. The battery life seems very good. I used the headphones for 2-3 hours a day and the battery was still around 70% after 4 days. The audio is clear whilst making a phone call but I only used this on a couple of occasions. The noise cancelling feature is good I was unable to hear any outside noise whilst in use. The headphones come with a nice solid protective case and comes with a charging cable and an adapter to use on a flight. I have be unable to try this out but I feel this is a handy extra to have whilst travelling. Overall the headphones look nice and are comfortable to wear and have great sound quality. I thought they could be slightly louder on full volume but I like my music very loud. The battery life is very good and the app is easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wanted to love, just got annoyed I really wanted to like these. At first I did, once I trained myself to not activate the voice assistant every time I took them off. JBL- the voice assistant needs to be able to be turned off! Then came an update. This update killed the volume levels and made the ANC (active noise cancellation) much less effective. I reset to original state, but the ANC remained much worse. Certain frequencies seem to not be affected at all by the ANC. Here's the killer for me: these things CREAK like crazy, and the ANC lets it all thru. I can hear multiple creaks as plastic parts grind together just turning my head. These things sound good (though its easy to screw that up with the ridiculous amount of redundant adjustments you can make in the app), and they're comfortable. The battery life is pretty amazing. But it seems like its just another product where they update constantly, but don't vet the update. I have several electronic products that I can NEVER update, because the update is not an improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not recomment, bad customer service. I do not recommend. This is a great headphone, great sound quality, great noise cancelling, easi to use, great features. I loved it, untill about six months of use, the plastic of the headband base started breaking off, without any demage. JBL did not change it, they said i broke it, and the warranty does not include physical demage. No other shop can repair it, becouse there are no parts for it.
