Rated 5 out of 5 byCJ from nullScreen never shuts off, should be a feature to toggle this complexly on or off, not just dim the screen. Volume adjustment is OK but muting can be a pain in the backside (e.g. double tapping, needs to be perfect). Base unit is compact but with headset attached is looks silly on a desk since it takes up so much room. Understandably there is just the slide over ear feature but that is a joke for people with large ears such as myself thus I need to use the headset feature. Software will always leave a small window on your desktop if used on startup, had to remove from startup options. Overall good product that needs to brush up on some of the items noted above to be a 5 star product.

I expect, in this day, that you should be able to plug it in, and the drivers would do whatever configuration is required. Once it is working, it will stop working, for no apparent reason, and it doesn't know that it isn't working.On the positive side, when it is working, it works wonderfully. I have two units, a 9470 for work, and a 9450 for home. the 9470 was working flawlessly, until the most recent firmware update, which has caused it to only work with the desk phone when you answer the desk phone using the handset, and setting it down on the desk, then answering the desk phone using the base unit. The one option that does always work is the mobile phone, through the Bluetooth connection. Once connected (which is always a manual operation), it works 100% of the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJohn from nullI use the headset for my home office. I am able to travel all over the house without reception issues. The mic picks up very well. Adding the optional hands-free answer and disconnect provided even more freedom and they work perfectly I use it all day long and can usually get 2 full days of use before charging. Charging takes less than 2 hours so even If I forget to charge the headset it is ready to go by the time I really need it.
