The COMBO ION™ drive is a 2.5" hard drive enclosure that is fully compatible with IEEE 1394 (a.k.a. i.LINK & FireWire) and USB 2.0 specifications. It supports high-speed data transfer rates of up to 400 Mbps or 480 Mbps respectively, and it is also backward-compatible with USB 1.1 specifications. It accepts ATA-5 hard drives. This enclosure is very easy to install, hot swappable and Plug-n-Play. The compact size and attractive design of this unit make it perfect for desktop or mobile professionals.
