Flawed design
I've bought the dot case along with my Macbook Pro 14 from the Apple Store. I do like it however the case developed cracks on the screen portion of the case. Now parts of the cracks are separating in the top corners of the case. I don't think this should be happening after over a years use. My expectations would be a better quality case from the most expensive case for the MBPro Apple sells. Definitely not good value for the money, BTW I've read other review here with the same problem.

Saved My MacBook Pro 14"
I hadn't had this case on my MacBook two days, when it slid off a chair and landed on the tile floor, hitting on one of its front corners. No damage to the laptop and no damage to the case. The case is a snug fit and I do not worry about it coming off. I'm very pleased.

I don't recommend this case. I had 2 of them and they cracked within a month. The plastic seems absolutely brittle to me and I would say it cracked just by putting it on and taking it off 2-3 times. Also the other issue is that it is a very loose fit, so dirt and debris can get between the laptop and the case and it scratches the laptop. So basically my opinion is it's not doing it's purpose and you are better off without this case.

Purchased the case from Apple with my new MBP. Three corners on the top cracked within a month not due to abuse or being dropped; a stress crack. It is a known problem with the case (check other reviews). I contacted Apple, they referred me to Incase who referred me back to Apple who referred me back to Incase. Per Incase, their warranty only applies to purchases directly from them even though their written warranty includes purchases from one of their authorized dealers, e.g. Apple. This is my first and last purchase from Incase. I will eventually replace it with another hardshell case from another manufacturer unless Incase replaces it. Very disappointed with Incase!

Great case and worked just 1 week after I purchased it new M3 plus Mac dropped from 3 feet and nothing happened to computer or case. Will definitely buy another one again.

Good customer service experience
I bought a case for my Macbook Pro via Amazon and after about 8 months, the top cover keep coming off because of some small cracks in each of the corners. My computer had never been dropped and the bottom part of the case was still completely in tact, so it was clear that this was a problem of the design of the product. I reached out to customer service and sent them photos of my cracked case and they shipped me a new one within a couple of weeks. I appreciate how responsive the customer service was, but I hope that this new case holds up! (Fingers crossed)

I would not recommend this product to anyone I know because it is poorly made and breaks easily. The case is not durable at all and way overpriced for the low level protection it offered. I've had the case for three months and it is broken in three different spots. I haven't dropped my mac or even travelled with it anywhere but yet its broken and won't be useable for much longer. Do not buy - find a better product

Purchased this at Best Buy. Started cracking within weeks
I've had this case on my 2021 M1 for just over a year now. I wasn't traveling with it, mostly working from home pretty gently. It started to crack in the corners within weeks, and a piece finally chipped off several months in. I've had incase hardshells before. I'm not sure if this one wast just defective, or if build quality has gone way down. A bit reluctant to replace my cracked, shipped case with the identical case. Considering buying a skin instead... and this is coming from an incase loyalist.

Happy with purchase
Fits perfectly, looks good, no issues. Adds slightly to thickness but not to weight. Apple logo doesn’t show through like in photos, but it doesn’t effect function. Ports are easily accessible, lid opens and closes like normal, no over heating. Happy with purchase.

The Dots Hardshell Case with Makrolon® for 14-inch MacBook Pro (M1-M4, 2021-2024) in Fountain Blue looks and feels AMAZING. However, it does not securely fit on my MacBook Pro. Don't get me wrong; it fits, but it easily comes off, depending on what part of the laptop you pick up first.

Great hardshell case!
I have tried other cases for my MacBook Pro, but the incase case has the best texture of them all. Doesn’t feel cheap like the amazon cases. Had some initial issues with bending my screen but I received a replacement that doesn’t do that.

Cracks easily
I have two of these cases for my personal MacBook and the one I use for work. Both cases are under a year old and already they are cracked. I mainly work from home so I'm confused how they cracked so easily with very minimal travel. I have owned cases for previous MacBooks that were 1/3 of the price and they never cracked. I'm disappointed about the build quality of this case, the price doesn't reflect the quality I thought I would be getting for paying more.
