I like the case. It's definitely a way to protect your machine from normal wear and tear. It's not something that will offer any significant drop protection. In fairness, it's not designed to do that. If you're looking for something that provides drop protection, this won't be for you. If you are looking for scratch and basic abrasion protection, this is a great way to do that while only adding minimal increases to the laptop's physical footprint.
