It is a very nice looking hardshell, however this is my 3rd time ordering it (and paying for it), somehow it keeps cracking at the edges. I have to to say the second time around it was replaced by the company for free because that time it cracked very soon after I got it. Now it is cracked again for a while now, so i have to order it again. At least now it is on sale, but if I think that I paid 2x$39.99/each + $29.99 which means it cost me so far $109.97, and it makes me think, I didn't pay for an expensive one from another company, but this cost me much more.

Wanted to love it
Base doesn't fit the laptop properly, it made me even need to double check that I ordered the correct one. Maybe it was a default? Material is super nice, just annoying that the base always seems to fall off.

Great protection, but doesn't last forever
I've used a handful of these cases with various macbooks over the last 10+ years. They always do a great job with protecting my machine. However, they do crack quickly and don't come on and off very well; especially the corners. After you install it, I recommend avoiding taking it on and off.

Looks Nice, but Disappointing Quality
While I like the look of the case, I am really disappointed by the quality of material. The case itself is pretty flimsy and delicate, and has already cracked and chipped in several places less than 3 months of use. I wouldn't say I'm extremely gentle with my laptop, but I'm certainly careful, cautious, and not unnecessarily rough. However, a crack appeared after just a couple of weeks that made it so the case didn't fit too well and would slightly pop off. No big deal, nothing a bit of super glue can't fix, but now there are small chunks that have broken off in a couple of the corners, making it impossible for the case to fit snugly on the laptop.
Overall, for how high the price is for this case, I don't think the quality matches up and I wish I had gone with another option.

It’s a nice looking case. It fits pretty well, but the Mac doesn’t close all the way with it on. I don’t think that will be a problem since I’m keeping it in a sleeve in my backpack anyway.

Materials not built to last
This is the second hardshell case for my MacBook and another for my MacBook Pro. Good product for scratch protection but due to the material it is made from the case becomes brittle with time. The case is two years old and I am watching a crack on the corner slowly spread and many points where it snaps onto the computer are broken off already. The product is made from an unstable plastic that off gasses the chemicals to keep it flexible, giving it an expiration date, and possible health hazard.
