IDEAL Zoom Fishtape fish tape is rated 4.50 out of 5 by 144.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Provides recording functionality but needs to improve the overall stability What is our primary use case? I use the solution for our company's meetings and to hold sessions with our vendors. What is most valuable? The most valuable feature of the solution is its recording functionality since it helps my company see the operation sessions for the vendors. What needs improvement? The product's stability is an area of concern where improvements are required since sometimes users get dropped off from meetings. I want to improve the tool's presentation part to be more user-friendly so that users can add notes to the presentations presented via the product. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for four years. I use the solution's latest version. I am an end user of the product. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Stability-wise, I rate the solution a six out of ten. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten. Over 200 people can join in a single meeting via Zoom. There are over 100 people in my company who use Zoom. The product is used twice a week in my company. My company does not plan to expand the use of the solution. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have experience with Microsoft Teams. I started to use Zoom in my company to meet the host requirements. How was the initial setup? The product's initial setup phase was easy. I rate the product's setup phase an eight on a scale of one to ten, where one means it is a difficult process and ten means it is an easy process. The solution is deployed on the cloud services managed by Zoom. Users can join meetings using Zoom's business account in less than ten minutes. What other advice do I have? Speaking about Zoom's impact on our company's team collaboration, I would say that my organization has been holding live meetings rather than virtual meetings. The product is helpful for holding huge meetings with people from different locations. The tool offered flexibility with the meetings. The breakout room feature hasn't had an impact on our company's meeting experience. My company doesn't have to maintain the product. My company has not integrated Zoom with other platforms or tools. I would suggest others consider their organizations network traffic requirements and bandwidth offered before installing Zoom to avoid stability issues. I recommend the product to others. I rate the overall tool a seven out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.customer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and has a good screen-sharing feature, but setting up and understanding the tool takes time What is our primary use case? I use the solution for meetings, leadership coaching, and leadership development. Sometimes, I use it for setting up team meetings and progress meetings for projects. What is most valuable? If we're leading groups, we can set up the tool for different environments. We can use the product for communication, presentation, and integration. The screen-sharing feature is easy to use. It is very helpful. We must be careful about what we are sharing. It also depends on the user of the tool, how they set it up, and the quality of the person using it. The product is easy to use. I’m happy with the solution for general use. What needs improvement? Initially, it takes a little time to figure out how to set up the tool for screen sharing and collaboration. Setting up and understanding the tool takes time. The product must provide more information to protect the users. They must know when they are visible and have a clear view when they are on. Before the screen sharing starts, the product must confirm with the user whether they want to share their data, documents, or the screen. There must be more reminders. It might be annoying for some people, but it would help protect the privacy of the users. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using the solution for some years. How was the initial setup? It was not difficult to initially set up the tool. Which other solutions did I evaluate? Microsoft Teams is a more professional environment. It is useful for normal meetings and quick communications on a day-to-day basis in a professional environment. It is good. It is a little bit more complex and has a little bit more options than Zoom. It needs more qualified people who are used to working in a complex environment. What other advice do I have? I work internationally. I have international contacts in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. It's a normal tool I use. I use it two times a month. If we have good communication around it and good preparation, the tool is quite good to use. I have technical experience. I have worked in many environments, so I do not hesitate to try and figure it out. Overall, I rate the product a seven out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has good scalability and an easy setup process What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for meetings, conferencing, and presentation purposes. We use it for end-user management as well. What is most valuable? Zoom has all the essential features. What needs improvement? The platform's feature for screen sharing needs improvement. We should be able to pause it while checking emails or messages in a meeting room, similar to Webex. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for a couple of years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? It is a stable product. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have 4,000 to 5,000 Zoom users in our company. It works fine in terms of scalability. We have plans to increase the number of users. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Different organizations use different collaboration tools. I use Zoom as it is easy to use, and my current organization uses it. I use Webex and Teams as well. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is easy. It requires five to ten minutes to complete. We need to download it on our system, register, and install it. What about the implementation team? We implemented the product in-house. What other advice do I have? I recommend Zoom to others and rate it an eight out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A highly stable solution that can be used for video conferences and webinars What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for video call sessions. How has it helped my organization? Zoom drastically reduced the amount of travel because most customer meetings can be done via Zoom meetings. It makes training and webinars quite interactive with the help of breakout rooms, which is quite nice. What is most valuable? The most valuable features of Zoom are the audio and video quality and the ease of use when setting up meetings. Interacting during the meeting by highlighting things, using whiteboards, and chatting makes it an interactive and good experience. The webinar functionality and the interaction options during meetings are useful features of Zoom. What needs improvement? I often use a highlighting feature in Slack Huddles, which makes it easier to point someone in someone else's screen share. Zoom should include a highlighting feature like in Slack Huddles. The solution is not very useful for chat and lacks highlighting functionality. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for four years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a highly stable solution. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is a scalable solution. We have a couple of hundred Zoom users locally, and we have worldwide around 1,000 users. What other advice do I have? We use the cloud version of Zoom. Users should really focus on the video conferences and webinar functionality. Zoom is not designed for chats, channels, or discussions. Overall, I rate Zoom a nine out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable product with an easy installation process What is our primary use case? We use Zoom to schedule meetings with internal team members and external partners. What is most valuable? The platform has a solid feature for scheduling short meetings worth 30 minutes. What needs improvement? They could address the product's limitation of the free version, particularly the 40-minute time constraint on meetings. What do I think about the stability of the solution? It is a stable platform. I rate the stability a ten out of ten. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have around 11 Zoom users in our organization. We use it from time to time depending on the requirement. I rate the scalability a ten out of ten. How was the initial setup? It is easy to deploy and takes five minutes to complete the process. It involves installing the application on the desktop, signing up, and creating a meeting room. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We use the free version of the product. We utilize it only three to four times a month. What other advice do I have? The platform provides the easiest way to install or sign up the account. We can then schedule the meeting with an agenda and send an invite email to the attendees. It is a reliable product and offers enough services for our business requirements in terms of productivity. I advise others to purchase Zoom’s license for unlimited meeting durations. The free version is enough for us, particularly for a spam-free environment with limited internal or external collaborations. I rate it a ten out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for meetings and collaboration, but it should include the automatic transcribing feature What is our primary use case? Sometimes, I use Zoom when I meet with some of my customers who are using Zoom for meetings and collaboration. What is most valuable? I like the fact that you can run Zoom on the browser as well as the native app so that you can quickly run it on any platform. Zoom has helped me with collaboration and remote working. What needs improvement? Zoom should also include features like the automatic transcribing of conversations. It allows you to record the video of a meeting, but it doesn't have the ability to automatically transcribe the conversation into text. Sometimes, I have issues with using the app on different browsers, like Safari on Mac. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution’s stability is fine but could be improved. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Since Google runs completely on the browser, you can get into a meeting quickly. In Zoom, we had to skip a few steps and consider whether to run it on the browser or the app. If I launch it in the app, it takes time for the app to launch and then for me to log in. There are a few steps involved, but with Google, we just have to click on a link. Copying the passcode and entering those passcodes when joining a Zoom call is a bit of a hassle. With Google, you just click on a link and we can join a meeting. How was the initial setup? The solution's setup is not the greatest because it requires you to download the app. We wanted to encourage the browser mode of logging in rather than using an app. What other advice do I have? The solution is deployed on the cloud in our organization. I would recommend Zoom to other users. You should check out the capabilities and features because there are different options when you subscribe to Zoom. You should check things like the limitation on how many people can log in at a time and breakout sessions before subscribing to ensure that the solution fits your needs. Overall, I rate the solution a six out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from User-friendly with high-quality video and reliable audio What is our primary use case? For a professional services agency, Zoom serves as a go-to tool for virtual client interactions and internal collaboration. It's ideal for client consultations, project meetings, and presentations due to high-quality video and audio, creating a seamless virtual experience. The screen-sharing feature is perfect for sharing documents and data during discussions, ensuring clarity and efficiency. Zoom's recording and transcription capabilities enable the agency to archive important discussions for future reference and compliance purposes. Its chat function allows real-time communication during meetings, enhancing engagement and providing a space for questions and comments. Zoom's breakout rooms enable the agency to host multiple client meetings or internal working groups concurrently, optimizing time and resources. The integration with various apps streamlines tasks, such as scheduling and document sharing. How has it helped my organization? The solution is totally intuitive, stable, and scalable. We use Zoom for client meetings, internal meetings, webinars, and more. It keeps us all connected. It is a game-changer for virtual communication, and it is incredibly user-friendly, making it a go-to choice for remote meetings, webinars, and online collaboration. The high-quality video and audio are reliable. The screen sharing and recording features are fantastic for presentations, and the chat function enhances real-time engagement. Zoom's breakout rooms are perfect for group work, and the integration with our various apps simplifies tasks. What is most valuable? I love the high-definition video and audio. These help ensure that meetings are as close to in-person as possible. Screen sharing and recording capabilities are invaluable for presentations and archiving discussions. The chat function allows for instant messaging, enhancing real-time collaboration. Zoom's breakout rooms facilitate seamless group work, making it a versatile tool for businesses and educators. Its integration with a wide range of apps simplifies workflows, while virtual backgrounds add a touch of creativity and professionalism to meetings. Zoom consistently updates and refines its features, ensuring users benefit fully from the investment. The new AI tools look interesting; however, I haven't yet fully explored them. What needs improvement? Zoom is a fantastic tool. That said, there are always areas where it could improve. Excessive software updates can sometimes disrupt my experience. Zoom should consider a more transparent update schedule and allow users to opt for manual updates if they prefer stability over the latest features. Enhanced security measures could be a priority to safeguard against potential breaches and ensure user privacy. Customization options for the user interface and more advanced moderation tools are also areas for potential growth. Addressing these issues and listening to user feedback can make it even more user-friendly and secure, ensuring its continued success in the future. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for approximately seven years. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable and easy to install, but performance could be better What is our primary use case? We use the solution for virtual meetings. What needs improvement? The performance could be better. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for a few months. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I cannot say for certain if the solution is scalable. How are customer service and support? We have not had occasion to contact technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Before using Zoom we used Cisco Webex. How was the initial setup? The installation was easy, although I do not recall how long it took. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We do not incur any licensing costs, as we use the free version. What other advice do I have? As we use another collaboration tool, I believe there to be a couple of users making use of the solution in our organization. I would not recommend the solution to others. I rate Zoom as a six out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grid-view, selective muting, and audio-only options have helped continue work when we can't meet in person What is our primary use case? I mostly use the software for lectures and it has been really helpful. I use it for group studies, assignments, and business meetings. My team and I had to finish a project within that period and since we couldn't meet, we usually collaborated on Zoom. We met with ourselves and sometimes with our supervisor and we were able to finish the project days before the lockdown was lifted. We were happy that we were able to achieve this goal, as it was very difficult for others. How has it helped my organization? Since the lockdown began and my partners and I were not able to step out for business meetings, Zoom came in handy and we were able to accomplish many feats within that period. These included project management, project completion, and project counseling. Now, we don't have to go out and meet unless it cannot be avoided. With the inception of Zoom, we are able to collaborate anytime, anywhere, any day. We are able to achieve just as much as we would have if we were meeting and sometimes we are able to get a lot more done. What is most valuable? The grid view option is great, as you get to see everyone who is in the video conference at the same time. I like the feature that you can select a particular member and see them on the full screen. Video conferencing is great but Zoom has been on a different level. I like that feature that gives the host permission to mute everyone except themselves, and then unmute them anytime they need someone to talk In order to save bandwidth, the feature of turning off video has been really great. We can switch them to audio-only when the video is not necessary. What needs improvement? I would like to see something like a virtual board or conference room where participants are seated around a virtual table, and pictures of them sitting on the chair or an avatar that the user can choose and control within that virtual world. This would allow the participants to somehow move around, talk to others privately just like you'd meet someone at the office, or talk to colleagues before a conference or board meeting starts. Being able to edit Google Docs in Zoom would be helpful. For example, co-editing a file with a colleague using Zoom would be nice. For how long have I used the solution? I've started using zoom since the first pandemic was initiated and I've been using it ever since. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It doesn't require any IT skills or use up a lot of bandwidth What is our primary use case? I've used Zoom personally and professionally. We use it for virtual meetings and presentations for management or customers. We use Zoom or Teams for anything that requires a group discussion. What is most valuable? Zoom is nice. It does not consume a lot of internet bandwidth. What needs improvement? I want Zoom to be integrated with virtual or intelligence boards. This would be useful when you are giving lectures. For how long have I used the solution? We've been using Zoom for three or four years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have a maximum of 50 users now. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I used Skype before Zoom. How was the initial setup? Zoom is incredibly easy to install. You can download it immediately on a mobile phone or go to the website. You don't need a lot of IT skills to get it running. Which other solutions did I evaluate? Compared to Skype and Teams, Zoom is missing one feature, and that's the ability to call people. In Teams, I can call anyone I want. It's like a telephone. I can do the same on Skype, but I have to send a link in Zoom. They click on the link and contact me. If I'm driving, I can't just click on one of my team in Zoom. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. It's great software. I would recommend it. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There are no restrictions on the number of users, and it's very fast compared to other solutions What is our primary use case? I'm using Zoom for virtual meetings. How has it helped my organization? I would say that Zoom should support more platforms. I think it has some limitations. It should be supported on all platforms. What is most valuable? There are no restrictions on the number of participants in a single meeting, That is the beauty of Zoom, and it is also very fast compared to others. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for maybe a year or two. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is very fast and reliable. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We are using Webex sometimes to talk to our clients. We are using Webex.0 How was the initial setup? Zoom is very easy to install. It only takes about five minutes. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom eight out 10. I would definitely recommend it Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, easy to use, and supports sending emojis in chat What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for video conferencing and meetings. What is most valuable? Zoom is easy to use and does not consume very much in terms of resources. What needs improvement? Zoom should continue to add new features to the product. When a new feature is added, I appreciate it. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for the past year. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a stable solution, unlike Webex, which is not. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? At the company we're working with, which is a major financial institution, there are thousands of people using Zoom. I attend Zoom meetings every morning. How are customer service and support? I have not been in contact with Zoom technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have experience with both Zoom and Webex, and I prefer Zoom. Webex is what we were using prior to Zoom and although Webex is still used in the organization, my team relies on Zoom. For internal communication, Webex is our primary tool for virtual meetings. Since other companies more often use Zoom, that's what we use to speak with people outside of the company. Resource-wise, Webex is much heavier and consumes more resources than Zoom. With Webex, my computer sounds loud because the CPU utilization is higher, it gets hotter, and the fan is louder. Webex is not as stable as Zoom. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is simple. You only need to press the Next button on several screens, until it completes. It began with a meeting request that I had received. When I tried to open my first meeting request, the system asked me if I wanted to install Zoom. I clicked Yes, and then followed the instructions and it was installed. What about the implementation team? I installed it myself when I received a meeting request. What other advice do I have? I like it when Zoom adds new features. For example, one year ago, we were not able to send emojis. I could not imagine sending an emoji like a heart or a smile. Now, the feature is available and I use it. When new features are introduced, I consider it to be a job well done by the vendor. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, and reliably supports a large number of users What is our primary use case? I set up a lot of meetings using Zoom. Especially now that we are working remotely, every I do is via Zoom. What is most valuable? The most valuable feature of Zoom is that it's easy to use. What needs improvement? When you are connected to one device and you're going to log into another one, Zoom should ask you to transfer without having to disconnect you. That would be a nice feature to have because what you have to do now is start the other device on mute and then disconnect from the original one. If you don't put it on mute then sometimes there is an echo or other strange sounds. Ideally, there should be nothing weird in the call. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately four years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a pretty stable platform. In the past couple of years, we have maximized our usage because the corporation mandates its use. We have the option to use other products but I think that everybody is signing up for Zoom. It is also part of one of our sister companies. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? This seems like a scalable product because a lot of people are using it. With approximately 140,000 employees in the company, about 30,000 are involved with sales. Of these, perhaps 15,000 to 20,000 of them use Zoom on a daily basis. How are customer service and support? The product runs pretty smoothly so I haven't had to contact technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I used a similar solution from another company. One of the nice features with the other solution is that when you have a meeting running on one device, such as a cell phone, and want to move to another device, such as a desktop PC, it will automatically detect that there is a connection open and transfer you from one to the other. Another product that we used to use was Webex. The company decided to switch away from that and standardized on Zoom. Webex is not a product that I miss. Zoom does an equal or better job than it did. How was the initial setup? I have not had to set up Zoom because it comes preconfigured for us. Which other solutions did I evaluate? In the company, we have options to use other similar products. What other advice do I have? My advice for anybody who is considering Zoom is that it's okay to start small. However, if you plan to have a large installation and want reliability then Zoom is a good platform to use. This is an awesome product and everybody is getting up to speed with it. The features that I have used are enough for me and I haven't had to request any changes. That said, I appreciate that there are things that need improvement. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, accessible, and offers a free tier of service What is most valuable? The pricing is good if you have multi-stations or multi-users accessing it. It's got a free tier and is easy to use. The one thing I like about Zoom is that you don't need to do anything by phone. All you need is a laptop or mobile device and a connection to the internet. Now you just use the computers and can use the audio, speaker, and microphone that are already there. You don't need a separate phone like as to do for Webex. What needs improvement? The issue is the amount of time you can use the product on the free version. They are limiting Zoom for 50 minutes, maybe. There were times on the free version where I wasn't done the meeting and it just took me out. They need to give more time. The performance and the quality of the picture could be better. They should work on making it faster as well. When you are using it at home, the bandwidth can be slowed down if someone else is using your connection. They need to have better compression. It asks for a membership ID sometimes. The security needs to be better and more consistent. I'm not sure how they are making sure that everything is secure. I'd like to be able to do multi-sessions and bring people into the conference call quickly. I'd like to be able to say, if we have a few people in the session, "okay, I just want to talk to person A and B" and have the other people leave the space for a minute and then be able to come back in. It would be great if there were middle rooms of some sort where people could come in and out quickly. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for almost a year now. How are customer service and support? I have not had any contact with technical support. Technical support is bad everywhere due to the fact that it's just on the internet and they don't have enough manpower to support everyone properly. When you try to reach you cannot get a human being. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We also used WebEx. It used to be really good, however, they cluttered it and really messed it up. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The solution has a free tier, which is what I use. I don't pay anything. What other advice do I have? I'm just a customer and an end-user. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. I'm happy with its capabilities. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, maintenance-free, and it's reliable What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for video conferencing. I don't personally use it much anymore because the company, in general, prefers Microsoft Teams. However, we have a behavior and health group that still uses it. What is most valuable? Zoom did everything that we needed it to do. What needs improvement? It would be helpful if Zoom could integrate with our medical systems. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom since the pandemic began, approximately two years ago. What do I think about the stability of the solution? This is a pretty solid product and we haven't had any problems with it. How are customer service and support? The users never call IT support for any help with it. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? For day-to-day use, the company generally relies on Microsoft Teams. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The pricing is too high. The cost of the license could be cheaper. What other advice do I have? My advice for anybody who is considering Zoom is the try Microsoft Teams first. If ultimately they need to buy Zoom, however, it's a good product. In summary, this is a good video conferencing solution and although I don't use it much anymore, it worked and did everything that we needed it to. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of updates, helpful support, and many features What is our primary use case? I use Zoom software in my online meetings with clients and for online training sessions, it has helped us a lot. It is great to be able to see everyone in the meeting and engaged, even if they are in a different location than I am, and to be able to share my screen with them and come up with new ideas and solutions. I like being able to record meetings and store them on my computer. It is very easy to use and has great features like screen sharing and recording. Customer service has been excellent. They are always quick to help us with any issues we have this is safety and efficiency for me. How has it helped my organization? Using the Zoom software made it possible to solve many problems we had, especially in business meetings. I don't need to go to the customer or suppliers all the time. I can Zoom in and present products, services, and even budgets. It allows me to continue the meeting, scheduling, etc. Meetings and conversations are always better with Zoom. We reduce the costs that we had before when using other tools. That has the biggest impact on me and my business. I can integrate Zoom and Youtube when necessary. The Zoom software is complete and effective, light and secure. What is most valuable? I have found that the Zoom software has many features that I find very valuable. One of those features was the ability to share our screen with the people we were talking to and give presentations. This made it possible for us to share documents and information with them easily. The ability to record our meetings was also excellent and valuable, allowing us to go back and review the information discussed earlier. It's excellent software in general, with new updates and new features integrated that would make the software much more complete. What needs improvement? It would be interesting if Zoom could be improved in the areas of software development such as project management and code debugging. The next version should include features like conflict resolution and Version Control. It would be great if there was a way to Zoom in on a specific part of the image and then make changes to that area that would be interesting. It's excellent software in general, with new updates and new features integrated, it would make the software much more complete. For how long have I used the solution? I use the Zoom software for about four years between two or three times a week. Now, I use it more than ever. The software has revolutionized the method of how online meetings are done in an efficient way, through the Zoom software we can connect many people at the same time, I like to make presentations, and in the most important work meetings, Zoom has been very important for everyone. Zoom software is safe and it is complete software for all audiences. We can turn off the microphone and authorize whoever wants to speak. We can make videos, have chats, and we can also record meetings. These are among the many features that we have in the Zoom software. We like that access to a room is only possible with the permission of the room host. The support has been excellent the response is very fast. We can integrate with other live streaming tools. This is interesting! How are customer service and support? Support is excellent, fast, and effective. How would you rate customer service and support? Positive Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I haven't used anything else, however, I did research and compared the Zoom software to Google Meet and Zoom fared better in every respect. How was the initial setup? We used an internal team and support to set up Zoom. All were very excellent and efficient. What was our ROI? With the support of the Zoom software, we had an increase in our ROI of 60%. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The cost and benefits are excellent. The configuration is very easy and without complexities. Everything is very clear and the support is excellent. Which other solutions did I evaluate? Google Meet was an option. What other advice do I have? I recommend this product to all entrepreneurs. It will make your company and business much more scalable and organized. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solution that is worth the money and requires its users to go through an easy setup phase What is our primary use case? I use it for everything, including my personal uses. To meet clients outside of Microsoft Teams, I use Zoom. Also, I use it for meetings in general with clients, volunteer work for meeting people across the world and trying to do different things on the platform. So, it helps me have conversations while trying to figure out how we can help other people. I don't think there's a day that I don't use them. I use it every time. What is most valuable? There are a lot of features in the solution. Besides the fact that you can speak with anyone from across the world, you can also see each other. Also, I really appreciate being able to record whatever is being set on Zoom, especially when I can use it for the onboarding process. So, I have such case scenarios and examples. I think that's one of the main features I love about Zoom. What needs improvement? I think Zoom should be introduced for the phone because we can use it on its own. I guess graphic design or the user experience they provide can be changed. The design could be changed. I find it kind of difficult to use Zoom, especially with clients and co-workers, friends and family who do not like to use Zoom on their phones because it's hard or difficult compared to a laptop. One of the main concerns is the difficulty of using it on your mobile device. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom since COVID started, which was 2020. I am using Zoom Version 5.14.8. I am a user of the solution. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The only time it lags is when we are in a bad spot for Wi-Fi, so it depends on where I'm working. Suppose I'm working at a cafe or maybe at an airport. Also, since I am a graphic web designer, if I have too much storage being taken up, it will lag to the point where I have to move things onto a different desktop so that viewing can be used. So I think that's another kind of issue that I'm having. I'm trying to figure out if that's on my side or if it is an ongoing issue at the moment. How are customer service and support? I had to contact customer service and support a couple of times, but I think there were a couple of times when Zoom itself contacted me. I think it had crashed once, but they had emailed me saying that if I was experiencing something, it would take about twenty-four hours to be fixed. How was the initial setup? The initial setup was very easy. What was our ROI? The solution is worth the money. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I am paying to use the solution. I am making yearly payments. So, I am paying 250 USD a year. Which other solutions did I evaluate? Zoom is very efficient for everyone since it's very easy to use. Even if they don't have the app, I can send them a link to them, and it opens up. I know, for the different people that I work with, that such things may be a little bit old, and I say this because I am not tech-savvy. It's something I can rely on, and I know it is easier to use. I don't use Skype because I've never really trusted it over the years. The only other virtual meetings I used to do were on Microsoft Teams, but that's really just for, like, my budget. Zoom can be used by those who are not tech-savvy. What other advice do I have? To others, I would say that it is a great platform to be able to meet other people. It's a great way of communication, and we're able to get instant results. Also, it's great for the conference solution. You can share data. So, I would definitely recommend it to others for sure. I honestly love the solution owing to how I can share my meetings and my screens. There is even a game feature we use, and it is helpful since my family is spread across the world. So I just love how we, like, really made it easier for me for people everywhere. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality video, simple to use, and quick setup What is our primary use case? I use Zoom for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? The standout feature of Zoom is its excellent connectivity, offering high-quality audio and video. Additionally, its familiarity stems from being an early adopter in the field of online communication during the onset of epidemics. Previously, I had used a different system for video conferences in another company, which primarily relied on room-based conferences rather than peer-to-peer video conferencing. However, with the need to communicate directly with peers, Zoom emerged as the first and preferred choice for me. Overall, I consider it the top option and the primary tool I use. Additionally, the solution has all the functionality I need. What needs improvement? In addition to Zoom, I frequently utilize Slack, and I particularly appreciate its huddle functionality. What I find appealing about Slack is the ability to simultaneously chat and have video capabilities. It would be beneficial if Zoom offered similar features integrated with some form of channel system, although I acknowledge that I am not involved in the product management aspect. Personally, I believe this integration would make Zoom even more compelling and engaging for users like myself. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for three to four years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? We have had some issues with the connection but this could be my ISP and not the solution. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The scalability of Zoom is good. We have had a lot of users using the solution in the past. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used Webex and Zoom has better quality. How was the initial setup? The initial setup of Zoom was not difficult. A corporate account can be more difficult. The time it takes for the implementation is quick, approximately 15 minutes. What other advice do I have? I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Zoom an eight out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product has been a life saver during the pandemic What needs improvement? It would be great if during presentations participants could go back and look at, for example, PowerPoint slides being presented. This can only be done now by the person sharing the presentation and I wouldn't want to jeopardize that, but if, instead of just displaying the current screen, the system software could make the PowerPoint deck available. That would be useful to individuals that may need clarification on something and would prevent avoidable questions. The virtual background could be more smoothly integrated with the rest of the software. I don't want to distract people with the clutter in my office, so I pull the screen down and put up the virtual background, so that I have a clean interface, and they can talk to me without being distracted by what's going on in my office. But, when people don't do that, it's distracting to see what's behind them. Getting that better integrated into the program, so that it's a first class citizen and not an appendage that's been glued on, would be a really nice thing. People should be warned that the virtual backgrounds work much better with a green screen. If you don't have a green screen, virtual backgrounds are really distracting because pieces of people appear and disappear. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom since the pandemic started. It's actually been a life saving product under the circumstances that were thrust on everybody. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used other products like Microsoft Teams and Webex by Cisco. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, stable, and has a straightforward installation What is our primary use case? We primarily use the solution for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? The solution is stable. I have found the product to be scalable. The interface is great. The dashboards are user-friendly. Its installation is very straightforward. What needs improvement? I can't say I have seen areas that were lacking features or needed improvement. I'm overall very happy with the product. The pricing of the product could be lowered a bit. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using the solution for a few years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is great. The solution offers good reliability. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The scalability of the solution has been good. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so. It's not a problem. We have 100 users on the solution currently. How are customer service and support? I've never had to reach out to technical support. I can't speak to how responsive they are, or how helpful. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I also use Microsoft Teams. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is not complex. It's not difficult. It's pretty simple and straightforward and simple. A company shouldn't have any issues with the initial setup. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The licensing costs could be a bit better. What other advice do I have? The solution is cloud-based, meaning we are always on the latest solution. I am satisfied with the solution overall. I'd rate the solution at a solid eight out of ten. I'm not sure if I would recommend Zoom to others. I'd likely recommend Microsoft Zoom instead. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good performance and stability; useful for virtual meetings What is most valuable? It is useful for virtual meetings. What needs improvement? I would like to see an integration with Microsoft. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for two to three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I am satisfied with Zoom's performance and stability. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I would give Zoom a nine out of ten for scalability. There's still room for improvement on this front. However, we have many people using it at our institution. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is straightforward as this is a cloud application. It only takes a few seconds. What about the implementation team? We set it up in-house. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I know that there are licensing costs but I'm not sure what they are. What other advice do I have? I would recommend this solution. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, scalable, and easy to use What is our primary use case? We use Zoom primarily for virtual meetings and remote assist sessions, where we take over control of somebody's computer. What is most valuable? The most valuable features of Zoom are simplicity and reliability. What needs improvement? I'd like to see more integration with Google Calendaring. When meetings are scheduled they are added into a Google Calendar. For example, if I am driving my car there are often times I have to pull off the road to join into a meeting as opposed to being able to click the link and have it startup. Sometimes I can do that, sometimes I can't, it all depends on how the meeting was generated initially. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is very stable, it is great. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The scalability is good. We have approximately 4,000 users that use Zoom in my organization. How are customer service and support? I have not needed to contact the support of Zoom. What other advice do I have? I recommend this solution to others. Zoom is a superior product to the others that are on the market. I rate Zoom an eight out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Free to use, easy to set up, and makes it simple to connect for remote meetings What is our primary use case? I primarily use this to remotely talk with people. I use it personally now, however, I did use it at my previous company. What is most valuable? It's pretty easy to connect to anybody through a scheduled meeting. It typically goes well with just sound. The initial setup is simple. There is a free tier so that you don't need to pay to use Zoom (with some limitations). What needs improvement? Mostly it's been fine. There are just a few issues that I've noticed. For example, if I'm speaking with friends, it's through the free Zoom application, not the paid tier. There usually tends to be some issues that I have on my end consistently with camera reception. Even when all the features on my end are enabled, there are still issues with being able to even see myself. Sound is not an issue, however, with video I've always had issues when using the free service. For how long have I used the solution? I use Zoom occasionally, from time to time. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I've never tried to scale the product. I can't speak to how easy or hard it would be. How are customer service and support? I've never used technical support. I don't know if they are responsive when you need their help. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is pretty simple and straightforward. It's not hard to deploy it. Everything is easy to implement. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I tend to use the free tier. I can't speak to how much the paid tiers cost. What other advice do I have? I don't have a business relationship with Zoom. I tend to use the latest version of the solution, however, I don't use Zoom frequently anymore. I don't know which version of the solution I'm on. I'd rate the solution at a seven out of ten. Being able to work is kind of the prime objective of most applications. This tends to do that with the exception of video, which I've had too many issues with. The two times I've used it, I had that issue. When I used to work for a hedge fund and some tech startups, it always used to work. That was on the paid tier which makes me wonder if it's just the free tier that's a bit weaker. In general, however, it works well. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple installation, remote assistance, and overall straightforward What is our primary use case? In the past I used to use Zoom a lot more recently I'm using it more with one of my kids to give him assistance if he needs it on his computer, and I join in if he needs active assistance. How has it helped my organization? During problematic times of traveling it was easier to connect to customers, clients, and colleagues to share thoughts, ideas, present information, et cetera. What is most valuable? Zoom is straightforward and easy to use. What needs improvement? I have had some issues with the user interface, that I thought could be more straightforward and easier to use. Some of the options are located in a difficult place in the menus. If you are not computer savvy, they would not find the option in the menu. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have approximately 10 people in my company using the solution. How are customer service and support? I have not needed to use the technical support of Zoom. How was the initial setup? The initial setup was relatively straightforward and took only a few minutes. What about the implementation team? I installed the solution myself. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good solution for small and medium sized organizations What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for visual meetings, conferences, presentations, and webinars. What is most valuable? Zoom is more stable than other applications. What needs improvement? Additional end-user and client features could be added. There are features available on Microsoft Teams that are not available on Teams. I would like to be able to push out the polling or voting questionnaire. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for 3 or 4 years. Currently, there are approximately 20 users. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? It is a scalable solution. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We currently use Microsoft Teams as well as Zoom. How was the initial setup? It is a cloud-based solution so it is very simple to setup. It takes only a few hours to setup the central management. What about the implementation team? We used an in-house team to install Zoom. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There is a licensing fee required to use Zoom. Which other solutions did I evaluate? I have tried Cisco WebEx and would put it in the same class as Zoom. What other advice do I have? Zoom is perfect for small and medium sized organizations with limited use. Compared to other products it is good. I would rate Zoom an 8 out of 10. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient, easy to use, and simple to set up What is most valuable? It works. It's easy to use and it's easy to set up. I like that it is easy to record. To me, it's like using your iPhone. It's not a big deal. It's not a big deal to set up a meeting. Screen sharing is important. Being able to pull up spreadsheets, system presentations, PowerPoints, whatever, is very helpful. The tool's pretty effective that way. People like it to be light. They like it to be not so technical that it's hard to learn or hard to use. One of the reasons Zoom grew so fast is that kids could learn it, old people could learn it, workers could learn it. It takes a little more learning curve to have the license and host meetings. Set up meetings, to host, there's a little bit more there, however, even that's pretty simple. What needs improvement? One thing I do wish was that there was more visibility. Sometimes I have to click into a reply-all to find out who is in the meeting and whether they've accepted or not. It's not convenient to check on that while you're in a meeting. Teams is better about that. Teams is better about posting up right in front of you so you can see who was invited, who clicked in or not, who's on the call. Also when people are talking, you see either their image, if they've got an avatar, or at least their initials, and a little round fake avatar that's blinking when they're trying to talk, or they're raising their hand. That is the only thing I'd say that's really a frustration for me with Zoom, is I'm not always sure who got invited. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for a while. I use it every day. I'm working virtually and my clients are all over the country. I don't visit them more than maybe once every six weeks each. I'm on the phone in Zoom or Teams probably 15 to 20 hours a week. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is quite good. I haven't dealt with bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The scalability is good. Expanding it is not a problem. As consultants, there's only usually a few of us that are engaged with a client. We don't send an army in. We're very senior consultants, and our rates are really high. We're like hiring an attorney or something. We're not a bunch of bodies coming in to do all the leg work. We're advising them on how to do a lot of things properly in terms of ERP selection and implementation. That said, we're engaging with a lot of people though. For example, in this one client I have, they're in Baltimore, I'm often on a call with 20 people. I may be the only one on my side and there's all of them. I have to know who they are and get familiar with their voices. A lot of the time, more people aren't necessarily doing the video thing where they're displaying themselves. It's just is less common that people do that. That's because more people are working virtually and maybe they're still in their t-shirt or you haven't taken a shower that day. If people aren't displaying themselves, you use the tool more like a phone in a sense, as you have to know, "Okay. That was Jackie speaking. That was Lisa speaking. That was Alice speaking." We get familiar with each other, we get to know each other. However, we typically deal with maybe 10 or 12 people on a call. They may be in different locations. With one client I have, they're in 23 states. Various key people are in different places. Other kinds of meetings I have oftentimes been a three or four-way, where you've got a client and you've got a vendor who's maybe doing something for them. We can have essentially three or four companies represented in a call, and we're having maybe calls two or three times a week. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I've also used Microsoft Teams. The larger the client, the more likely it is that they're going to use Teams instead of Zoom. Oftentimes, they're setting up the meetings and they prefer to set them up. I have this one large client where we're recording every one of our sessions, as they're reusable then for walking back through and revisiting deep discussions we've had and requirements and so on. I don't happen to like Teams, it's clunky. Teams is clunky and it's also just harder to use. Particularly if you're using it also is a repository for documents, folders, recording, and so on. It's just not as usable. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is very simple. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I have a subscription to Zoom. What other advice do I have? I am a customer and an end-user. What my partner and I typically would do if we are in control of that is we use Zoom. We'll use Box for our repository of the artifacts, requirements, recordings, and so on. Box is also very, very easy to use. However, we find Teams clunky on both sides now. However, even though we prefer Zoom if a client prefers a different conference system, and they've got dozens of people inside that are married to that, well, we'll go with what they use. We are on the latest version of Zoom. Zoom actually forces that. If you get a Zoom subscription, it pops up a patch or an update or whatever, and it's no big deal to click that and update. What Zoom is, is it's a very convenient, easy to use, quick to set up, simple to learn tool. It works pretty effectively. However, people aren't using it so visually anymore as they used to. A lot of times it's really just a meetup where you're all on the same call, and people won't even post their videos too much anymore. Sometimes, if we're at a first-time meeting, we'll have our visual presence there, however, then we'll hide it away behind an avatar. People just aren't in need of that facial thing too much. The main thing for me was just knowing who's scheduled for a call. Sometimes I don't know who's going to be on the call until I get on the call. There's a list there, however, you don't know who's accepted. We need a clear list. That would be an improvement. Keeping it light is important. Everything is getting more and more like that. Even the system designs, major ERP systems, most of them when you log in, you feel like you're in a box. It feels boxy. That's the way Teams feels. It's got a structured menu architecture and so on, and frames around everything. The way things are going - and this is how Zoom is - it feels like you're in an open space. It doesn't feel like a box of things. It's an open flow. Keeping it that way is going to be important. If you add more features, you have to keep it easy to find, easy to hide. Don't throw them on your whole menu. Don't throw everything at me. Just what I'm using is all I need. I'll give you another example of that. There's a system called CRM, Customer Relationship Management, such as Salesforce. Salesforce made a major strategic mistake. They built the thing that is a very complex functional solution. It's expensive due to the fact that it's so overbuilt. I don't know where Salesforce is at, however, I've got a lot of clients that I've run into that say, "Yeah, we put in Salesforce a few years ago and we're going to replace that now as too costly and we don't use it all." They didn't do a very effective job of layering functionality so that you only see what you use, and make it simple, make it easy. Also, they didn't scale the pricing to what they're going to use. Salesforce is probably still pretty ubiquitous, however, it's probably going to get beat out by a bunch of these smaller, lighter, more open solutions. The challenge for Zoom would be to stay Zoom, and don't fix what isn't broken. It is a great tool. I really have very little, almost nothing but praise for Zoom. The only thing I'd say is that competitively, they're going to have to think about, well, what else does it have to be able to do? In my opinion, it's going to be making the visual collaboration, not from people to people, and instead, the people to content, whether it's websites, systems, logins, spreadsheets, whatever, making that so easy to do that it's almost natural. We can more quickly say, "Oh, okay, let me pull that up." Layer number one is, it ought to be as natural as sliding your fingers across the screen in some magical way to be able to show what you want to show. The next layer is going to have to have more social collaboration from inside and outside of the system. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten so far. In comparison, I might rate Microsoft Teams at a six or so. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, simple to use, and very intuitive What is our primary use case? We primarily use the solution for meeting with clients. What is most valuable? Zoom is very familiar. It's intuitive. It has all of the features you would expect from the other popular conferencing options. It's easy to use. The setup is rather simple and straightforward. What needs improvement? It's not really the fault of the product, however, the internet connectivity can sometimes be an issue. The splitting of the speaker can be frustrating. When you're talking to folks from the presentation, being able to move them around to different screens would be useful. With Zoom, everyone stays on one screen. For how long have I used the solution? We've used the solution for a while. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? While we only have about 20 people that use Zoom, we have clients that have tens of thousands of users on the product. The solution seems to be scalable. We haven't had any issues with scaling as needed. You can add or remove people easily. How are customer service and support? I've never personally used technical support. I cannot say if they are helpful or responsive, having never spoken to them. How was the initial setup? There are no issues with the initial setup. It's very easy. I wouldn't describe it as difficult or complex. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I don't even know what it costs. Someone takes care of that for us. What other advice do I have? We're customers and end-users. We don't have a partnership with Zoom. We are using the most up-to-date version of the solution. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. It works well for us and we never have any issues. There are no complaints. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable solution works well for video conferences What is our primary use case? My primary use is for video conference, for classes for my daughter when she's online, and also when I have to talk with the teacher. What is most valuable? The solution is working very well and it's very simple, easy to use. What needs improvement? One area that can be improved is the chat settings. Perhaps add a feature so you can tag someone when you write something, and that someone be notified that you wrote a message to him or her. I'd like to see more user interface. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for two or three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The solution is scalable. My family is using Zoom. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Previously, I've used the service from Google. I was using Slack and Skype. With my friends, I use WhatsApp for video. I began using Zoom because I find it very easy to use for multiple persons. How was the initial setup? It is very easy to install in just a few minutes. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? At work we had a paid account for multiple users and so on, but at home I'm using the light version, the free one. What other advice do I have? Zoom works very well and is very stable. I enjoy the fact that it can be used with more than two people, and you can also chat with others during calls. I would suggest using the solution because it works very well for video conferences. I'd rate the solution a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? On-premises Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good performance with a free version and an easy installation process What is our primary use case? I primarily use it for myself and for checking. I use it for organizing teams. What is most valuable? The performance is very good. We haven't had any stability issues. The scalability is great. The product is usable and very straightforward. Overall, the installation process is very simple. There is a free version of the product. What needs improvement? I don't think any other improvement is required at the moment. You do need permissions to be recorded. I'd like to have the recording functionality in the free version so that we don't need any licensing in order to access it. The free version allows only for approximately 45-minute meetings. They need to be able to integrate it with other applications, such as, for example, Facebook, so that you could schedule meetings more effectively. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using the solution for three years. It's been a while at this point. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. The performance has always been good. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. it's reliable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I've found the solution to be scalable for my purposes. It's never been an issue. I do not have plans to increase usage at this time. How are customer service and support? I don't really require the assistance of technical support. Having never talked to them, I cannot speak to how helpful or responsive they are. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I use both Zoom and Google Meets. The quality of Zoom is better than Google. That said, Google Meets is pretty commonly used. How was the initial setup? The installation process is straightforward and not overly complex. You just click through the prompts and you are ready to go. What about the implementation team? You can handle the installation yourself. It's very easy. I didn't need an integrator or consultant to assist me. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? They have options for personal use, or we can have co-hosts, which we can assign. The licensing is cheap and we can pay for it on a monthly basis. I use the free version. I don't pay a licensing fee at this time. What other advice do I have? I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. Overall, I am satisfied with the capabilities of the product. I would recommend the solution to other users. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better and more reliable than Microsoft Teams and WebEx, but has occasional problems with latency, audio or visual quality What is our primary use case? I use my Mac to conduct Zoom meetings with those who are interested, which runs on my browser. What needs improvement? I have come across the run of the mill issues which someone would expect to find with these communication solutions. There are occasional latency, sound and audio quality difficulties. The solution is good, but it's not perfect. A big feature I wish to see would involve the ability to attach documents while conducting a session. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for around a year-and-a-half. Which other solutions did I evaluate? The solution is much better and more reliable than Microsoft Teams or Webex. I am not the one in charge of the decisions. People, such as recruiters and hiring managers, are the ones who make the decision to conduct a one-on-one meeting. Nowadays, these things are done remotely and the people, at turns, may specify Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Webex. This can vary. I deal with all of these solutions. What other advice do I have? I believe that Zoom is deployed in the cloud. We provide software as a service. I rate Zoom around a seven out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from In-meeting whiteboard, good recording capabilities, and does not require installation What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for our virtual meetings. Specifically, whenever we require a face-to-face meeting, or screen sharing, or content sharing during the meeting, we use Zoom. What is most valuable? Zoom helps us because it provides a whiteboard during the meeting. This is a very good feature. Most of the time, we have to show flow diagrams during our meetings and the whiteboard is helpful in this regard. We can save a recording of each of our meetings. What needs improvement? The interface requires some slight improvement in that it could better show the meeting attendees. Essentially, the interface could be more user-friendly. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately a year and a half. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is used extensively and it is quite stable. Currently, all of the employees in the organization use it, almost on a daily basis. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? This is a scalable solution. We have nearly 10,000 users and if our headcount increases, our usage of Zoom will also increase. How are customer service and support? When the users have problems, they do not reach out to Zoom's technical support directly. Rather, they reach out to the organization's technical support group. As such, I have never been in contact with Zoom. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We did not use another virtual meeting solution before implementing Zoom. How was the initial setup? As a cloud-based product, it does not require installation. It is similar to a subscription-based model where you get a login ID and password, and then you can utilize it. What about the implementation team? Because it doesn't need to be installed, the technical team is not involved. Each user can do it by themself. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? Zoom is licensed as a subscription model and it is available on a monthly or yearly basis. Which other solutions did I evaluate? We did not evaluate other options. What other advice do I have? This is a good product and I definitely recommend it for others who are interested in using it. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sends meeting invites, collects statistic information, and its easy to set up What is our primary use case? I primarily use Zoom for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? Zoom has great functionality for virtual meetings. It's best in class. You can create invitation letters for people to join meetings. It collects statistics that are helpful for showing you details such as who has joined the meeting. What needs improvement? In general, the price could be a little cheaper. For how long have I used the solution? I have been working with Zoom for a couple of years. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have fewer than 100 users. For us, scalability is great, and we may increase our usage in the future. How are customer service and support? I have no experience with support because I have never needed any. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? From time to time, we use Microsoft Teams. However, Zoom is the product that I prefer. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is quite easy. I have set it up at least ten times in the past six months. What about the implementation team? My specialty is hardware but I am able to do the Zoom installation personally. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There is a licensing fee and although the price is fair, it can be a little cheaper. What other advice do I have? This is a product that I like a lot and I'm happy with using it. I would recommend it to others. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multiplatform, offers screen sharing capabilities, good sound and video quality What is our primary use case? I primarily use Zoom for virtual meetings. Some of the meetings are only with two people, meeting one-on-one for teaching. What is most valuable? The screen sharing capability is useful for teaching. What needs improvement? Zoom is not a good product for webinars. In a webinar, you have a presenter and maybe a co-presenter, with a lot of people listening, perhaps sending questions. Zoom is more for real meetings where everyone has to contribute something, and more than one person is sharing their screen. Setting up the single sign-on took a little bit more time. It's a really nice feature to have because people can't remember passwords, so they tend to be too simple. For how long have I used the solution? I have been working with Zoom for the past year and a half. What do I think about the stability of the solution? This is a very stable platform. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is a scalable product. For the client that I am administering Zoom for, we have a few hundred users and everyone in the organization can make a Zoom account. How are customer service and support? I have not been in contact with technical support from Zoom. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? In addition to Zoom, I am currently using Microsoft Teams. I have used Webex in the past but I don't really like it. I have never personally hosted a meeting using Webex, but I have been an attendee. My impression is that Webex is more suitable for webinars. The image and sound quality are better on Zoom than on Microsoft Teams. These are different products for different environments and different occasions. How was the initial setup? Zoom is easy to install and set up. It takes maybe five minutes to complete. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There is some basic functionality that's free but if you want to host longer meetings and have more participants, then there is a licensing fee. In fact, the costs of this could be cheaper. The license for Zoom is something that people will be willing to pay as long as it remains superior to products like Microsoft Teams, in terms of audio and visual quality. What other advice do I have? My brother is a big fan of Linux, and I got him to use a Zoom version that was built for Linux. One thing to keep in mind is that Zoom costs money and if somebody already has a Microsoft Teams account, the only reason for them to use Zoom is the improved quality of service. As long as the quality difference is big enough, we will continue to use Zoom. Microsoft tends to get better over time and if Microsoft Teams becomes good enough, it will be difficult for Zoom to keep its place in the market. Overall, Zoom is a good product and I recommend it for video conferencing. That is what it's made for. The fact that it's a standalone product has certain benefits. For example, Microsoft Teams is integrated with everything from Microsoft. It works well for those use cases but sometimes, you just don't want that. I expect that Zoom will eventually integrate more with other products from Microsoft but I actually hope that they don't. They would be recreating something that is already there. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Secure, simple to manage, and easy to understand What is our primary use case? Zoom has been a complete substitution for the personal face-to-face interview. Everything we have been doing through Zoom. Every work meeting, every customer meeting, every interview for jobs. Everything that has to do with the interactions with another person. We only use Zoom due to the fact that, even though we could use some other technologies like Teams or even WhatsApp or anything like that, we prefer to use Zoom as we have the control of what is recorded and exactly what is going on in the meeting. We have been using it for every internal and external meeting - everything that we do. My agenda is just full of Zoom meetings. That is my life. What is most valuable? The most valuable aspect of the solution is the controls that you have for security. They have been enhanced a lot in the recent versions. When you are the owner of the meeting, you basically have control over everything. It is really important when you are in a situation in which someone tries to enter your meeting and he doesn't belong or doesn't identify him or herself. You can just easily remove them. Understanding the different options you have is easy. The identified users have to be allowed in with authentication. You will have people that are from the organization or from some other organization and you can ask for authentification or you can have a meeting in which anyone can join. Even so, at the moment you have the option of doing something that will give you control over the meeting. For me, that's one of the most useful things. It's very simple to manage. The solution is stable. The scalability is good. The solution is easy to set up. What needs improvement? We are entering into these meta universes of applications in which virtual reality is going to be very, very important. They're starting to explore some of those things by having options of creating templates that visualize a meeting room, for example. There are visualizations that give you the illusion that you are in the same place. However, there are many more things that they can do, and the room there is endless in terms of improvements. There are ways that you can get information from the cameras and try to map something that could be more 3D and try to make it much more virtual in terms of creating a virtual world. That is an area that Zoom has been just been scratching the surface of. In the future, I expect they will have better UI. It would be great if there was a bit more camera control. For example, cropping the image, and improving the background remover features, which can be buggy right now. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using the solution for five years or so. What do I think about the stability of the solution? It is very stable, even though it has issues such as dropping meetings occasionally. That said, that's anecdotal. It's something that might happen once every a hundred meetings or something like that. There have been glitches, however, it's not something that we are worried about. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? In the beginning, scalability may have been an issue, as the pandemic hit and they went from zero to one million quite fast, however, that's mostly been resolved. Everybody in our company uses it right now. We have tested for almost 2000 people internally as we have users on the webinar mode directly. The webinars that we are now doing for customers are on Zoom. That is in the tens of thousands of people. There is a limit for the meetings that we could hold in our version as the employee, however, there are versions within the company that is unlimited in terms of the people that it can hold. We have been doing very well with that technology in terms of the number of people we can handle. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We used to use Cisco WebEx, however, everyone wanted to switch over to Zoom. The problem we had with WebEx was the version that we were using was not up to date. There was always a requirement for a call with a phone for the audio, and for the video and the interaction was online. That was a big problem as there were no international calls. There was a way for you to receive a callback, however, that doesn't work all the time. The quality of the sound was not good for WebEx when you were using the phone. Zoom had a very good quality of sound. You can also stream music and have high-quality audio. I also used Microsoft Teams in the past. I didn't care much for Teams. There are things that annoy me from Teams. I use it sometimes still as some customers are required to use Teams instead of Zoom. There is this situation in Teams in which you are not actually seeing all the pictures of the faces of the people. When you enter a meeting, you're just seeing a couple of them and then you have to go to participants to see them. The interface is also not as easy as Zoom in many ways. For me to get to the chat part is like a mystery. I've used Goot Meet occasionally too. There are some lacking features and it's not as easy to use. Sometimes the share screen or the share sound for the computer doesn't work at all. Sometimes [you have to install plugins. It doesn't have a client install on the computer. It is not very useful for me. In that area, still Zoom is more advanced than the others. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is really easy. In the beginning, they had some issues with the ports and some things. We had some issues with some customers in that, due to security reasons, they were not able to use Zoom. That was an issue, however, that was two years ago, and, largely due to the fact that it was such a massive problem at the time, it caused headaches for many people. Right now, however, it's one of the easiest solutions to deal with. Since it is a managed solution, a software as a service, everything seems to be completely taken care of by Zoom. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We are using the paid version of the solution. The exact costs are handled on a corporate level, however, I understand that if you just want to own a license for your small business or something like that, it's around $300 a year, which is very reasonable. It gives you a lot of features that are good for you, such as the storage of the meetings if you recorded on the cloud, which is something that you cannot do if you have the free version. What other advice do I have? We're using the solution as a customer. It's our main tool right now. We are using the most recent version of the solution. I'd advise people that the change in the process of your work will be impacted by how you plan things. For instance, there are easier ways, when you apply best practices, to make your life easier. There is a button, for example, in Outlook in which you can just insert all the information for the Zoom meeting without having to plug in a link. Or you can actually create a specific unique meeting ID and you will not have any worries if you are always using your personal meeting room, that you will overlap with people entering into the meeting that you don't want. I would rate the solution at a nine out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up and use with excellent performance What is our primary use case? We used the solution mainly for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? Although sometimes the latency of the network is high, it was performing well, even when using the video features. It was easy to use for screen sharing or sharing applications. It was also easy to use on the phone. It was straightforward. The solution is stable. It's easy to set up. What needs improvement? I can't speak of any shortcomings. It worked fine. For how long have I used the solution? During the COVID crisis, we started using Zoom, which means we started using it about a year ago. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The product was stable. There were no bugs or glitches. It didn't crash or freeze. The performance was very high. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We didn't experience that much from a scalability point of view. Most of the meetings were team meetings where the number of people connecting was not that high. I cannot verify its ability to scale. We have, however, used it with 20 people at once easily and never ran into issues. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We have previously used Skype at the company as well. We do not use it anymore. We also use Microsoft Teams alongside Zoom. However, the company has established Teams as the standard product now. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is very straightforward and simple. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I had my license and the company also had a license. I'm not sure how affordable it is for a company, however, they do make it very affordable for individual users. What other advice do I have? I'm just a customer and an end-users. I would rate the solution at a nine out of ten. I was pretty happy with its capabilities. I'd say that it's easy to use on any device and very simple in general. Therefore, I'd easily recommend it to others to try. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from User-friendly, easy to access, and has a nice user interface What is our primary use case? We primarily use the solution for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? You just need the internet to access it. As a user, you can just download it. People can send the link and a person can download it very easily. It offers very easy access. It's user-friendly. You don't need to be technical in order to use it. The user interface is very friendly. Everything is plugged right into your browser. It's nice and simple. The solution is very stable. What needs improvement? I've found the scalability to be okay, however, at the same time, it's somewhat limited. The dashboard is a bit limited, however, it meets our day-to-day requirements. Zoom should improve aspects of its security. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for the last three years. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? You can only really have 100 users at a time. That said, for us, it's not an issue. It can scale to meet our needs. We wouldn't go beyond that threshold. In our company, everyone uses the product, including management. I'm not sure if there are plans to increase usage. That would be based on a decision made by corporate. How are customer service and support? I've never directly dealt with Zoom technical support. We have our own internal IT team. If we run into problems with anything, we turn to them. Therefore, I can't speak to how helpful Zoom is if customers have issues. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We have also used Cisco WebEx. We used it about three years ago. My understanding is that WebEx is a bit more secure than Zoom. How was the initial setup? The product does not require any installation. It automatically just plugs in, actually. You click on a link and you can start using it. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I'm not sure about the licensing. Our technical team handles these aspects. I can't speak to the exact costs as I don't buy it myself. What other advice do I have? I'm just an end-user. We are using the latest version of the solution. It's cloud-based and therefore always updated. I'd recommend the solution to others. I would rate the solution at a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? I don't have a business relationship with Zoom. I am using a current version of the solution. I would recommend them to use Teams for a professional setup, as it's more stable and more user-friendly. From what I understand, there are more security measures there, since it's a Microsoft product. I prefer that. I would rate the solution at an eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately one year. What do I think about the stability of the solution? What is most valuable? The solution is good for remote, virtual meetings. The solution is quite stable. The scalability is good. The initial setup is quick and easy. What needs improvement? Zoom could be more secure. In one of the meetings, we found out the meeting was automatically getting recorded. That's not good. There are certain things that could definitely be avoided. There aren't really bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. The performance is good. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I've found the solution to be very scalable. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so. Typically, we use Zoom if a vendor wants to. For example, if somebody sends across their meeting request via Zoom, we will use that. As far as our organization's users are concerned, it's used much less. We have 200 to 500 people that use it internally. Not more than that. We don't plan to increase usage, as we already use WebEx, and we prefer not to double up on virtual meeting platforms. How are customer service and support? I've never contacted Zoom's technical support. I cannot speak to how helpful or responsive they are in general. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I'm also using WebEx. We use Zoom and WebEx in parallel. We also have used Google Meet. We tend to use Zoom when our vendors set up the meeting and it is something they prefer. When we set up meetings ourselves, we tend to use either WebEx or Google Meet. How was the initial setup? As a cloud-based solution, the installation is very simple and straightforward. it's easy. It's not difficult. The deployment just takes a few minutes. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We do not have any subscriptions with Zoom. What other advice do I have? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to deploy, simple to use, and very intuitive What is our primary use case? Right now, due to COVID, the pandemic, most customers don't have any face-to-face meetings. We use web conferencing in its place. Some use Zoom for this kind of work. We have almost daily meetings with some customers using Zoom. It's an intuitive product and it has a lot of usability, which is very, very good. The initial setup is very simple. The solution is very stable. The scalability is quite good. What needs improvement? I haven't explored all the features. Therefore, it's hard to discuss anything that may be missing. The recording capabilities may not be as good as WebEx, however, I can't be sure about that just yet. I'm not sure if Zoom is also offering hardware the way that WebEx can. If not, it may be something that they should consider. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for a couple of years at this point. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is good. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Scalability is possible. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so. Everyone in our company is currently using this product. Our customers also use it, and it seems to be their preferred product when it comes to video conferencing. How are customer service and support? We haven't had any issues with technical support. They are okay. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I also use WebEx. Our customers mostly use and prefer Zoom, which is why we end up using it more often in our day-to-day. How was the initial setup? The implementation process is very, very easy. From the user's point of view, it's easy due to the fact that it's in the cloud. A company shouldn't have any problem trying to install it. Since we do not need to host the solution ourselves, there isn't maintenance required. What other advice do I have? We're a customer and an end-user. We're using the most recent version of the product. I'd advise other users to try it out. It's very easy to deploy and simple to use. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It helps me provide support to users because they can share their screen and talk at the same time What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for one-on-one calls, conferences, and remote support. We used to offer training via Zoom. But in the last two years, the global team switched to Microsoft Teams, so we moved to Teams. Since then, it's been about 50-50 Zoom and Teams, but prior to February, we had three or four meetings via Zoom daily. Before Teams, we were using Lync, which is the predecessor of Teams. How has it helped my organization? Zoom is interactive. We can connect with more users. Sometimes we host meetings with hundreds of people, and I can see who is talking. What is most valuable? As a technical support guy, I think it's crucial to be able to connect with people remotely. Zoom is simple to use because they can share the screen and talk. The user can walk me through the issue they are facing. You don't need to be in the office or on the network. If a user can connect to the internet, then they can share their screen. Aside from support, it's also a great way to provide training to our users. What needs improvement? Yesterday, we had a call, but Zoom closed after 20 or 25 minutes, and we didn't get any alerts. That could be because there was a time limit set. There should be an option, like a button, that allows us to increase or reduce the meeting time. We had to cancel and change the time of the meeting. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for around four or five years What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is perfectly fine. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom isn't scaled, but I don't think there are any issues with the scalability. How are customer service and support? Two or three years ago the global team was not able to use a feature on the old version. Suddenly, Zoom wasn't working. They contacted Zoom support and got everyone to update their software. But I haven't had any personal experience with support. Once we had a problem with the background images changing, but that was a minor issue, and the Zoom team walked us through how to fix it. How was the initial setup? Setting up Zoom is pretty standard. It's a "next, next, finish" installer. You don't have to do anything too complicated, and it only takes three or four minutes. There is also a web-based app that is easy to use. Aside from the regular updates, it doesn't need much maintenance, either. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We're using the software that the global team uses. They don't tell us how much they're paying- Which other solutions did I evaluate? I think Zoom is better than Teams, but they're very different. Zoom is lighter. I tried a remote session with Teams, but it wasn't up to snuff. I cannot share things properly, so I think Zoom is better. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom eight out of 10. If you're planning to use Zoom, you should pay attention to the version your users are working on. Sometimes a lower version is better, so it will work with all users. The lowest version should be compatible with most machines. When you're working with people that have older computers, they might not be able to connect. You need a version that is compatible with everyone's device. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use? Microsoft Azure Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use with an intuitive interface and good scalability What is our primary use case? We primarily use the solution to conferencing for meetings. We simply use it for video conferences. What is most valuable? I really like its ability to handle large meetings. Zoom has is the capability to support many individuals in one meeting at a time. With Teams, we are limited to 250 users and Zoom allows us to add more people than that to the meeting. The interface is very intuitive. It's very easy to use. It's a great tool. The product has great sound and video quality. The installation process is very simple. What needs improvement? I don't use the solution very often. Therefore, I can't speak to dealing with any missing features. In the free version, you are restricted to just 40-minute meetings, however, it is free, and therefore you can't ask for too much. It's still okay. It would be nice if they could add collaboration tools. With Microsoft Teams, for example, you can work directly on a document when you are on a call. It would be nice if you could do something similar on Zoom. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is very stable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable and the quality is good. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The solution can scale in the sense that you can add many people to one call. It's better than, for example, Microsoft Teams. How are customer service and support? I've never dealt with technical support. I haven't had any reason to contact that. Therefore, I cannot speak to how helpful or responsive they would be. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Our office use is using Microsoft Teams. Zoom works better for when you need many people in one meeting. The only reason we use Teams instead of Zoom is we have Microsoft in our business and we have to use it. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is very simple and straightforward. It's not overly complex or difficult. To deploy the solution takes one or two minutes. The package is very small. The software download is 10 or 20 minutes or something like that. It is a very short time. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We don't pay for licenses. When our clients are using Zoom, we must use the free version. I'm not sure how much the paid version costs. What other advice do I have? We are just a Zoom customer and end-user. Last week, I updated the solution, and therefore am on the latest version of the product. However, I don't know the exact version number I am now on. During the pandemic, we really did use Zoom a lot. It's very easy to use. It is very stable. It has good quality. You can use it with any device. It's a great tool. I've had a great experience with it overall. I would rate it at a nine out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

The only issue I have is that some clients have difficulty connecting to the audio side of things. It could be user issues. For how long have I used the solution? I have used Zoom off and on for many years. I believe that we use the enterprise version of Zoom. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I don't have any issues with the stability of Zoom. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is scalable. We don't have more than ten users at once for my purposes. We haven't had to go any further. How are customer service and support? I have not contacted technical support directly. Any issues are addressed with my IT team. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Zoom is the only product that I have used since starting with this company. In the past, I have used GoToMeeting, Teams, Skype, and Webex. Teams is nice, but it's on the communication platform, you are only using one application. Aside from that, I can't think of any significant pluses or minuses. How was the initial setup? To my knowledge, the initial setup appears to be fine. I'm in sales, so I don't set up anything. What other advice do I have? I worked for OpenText for 13 years. Rated 5 out of 5 by from More intuitive and accessible to new users What is our primary use case? I use Zoom when speaking about some topics in my community. I am currently trying to set up my own business, but when I was working for a company, I used Zoom for meetings with my coworkers when I needed to talk to multiple people at the same time. I've used Zoom for calls with 2,000 to 3,000 people and also audiences of 30 people or one-on-one conversations. What is most valuable? I like Zoom because of the quality of the image and the resolution. Of course, I know that depends on the hardware you're using. But, still, the image and sound quality are excellent. If you use the free version of Skype, sometimes the screen gets blurry, so you can't see everything well, then you have to check if the connection is okay, or maybe you need to restart the application. But with Zoom, I didn't have that kind of problem. Zoom is also more intuitive and accessible to new users. What needs improvement? One thing that Zoom can improve is the chat. You can send messages to a specific person without messaging everyone. But everyone sees the whole chat if the administrator lets them see the chat. Maybe they could add an option to let you open a private conversation on the side with a person. And for example, let's say you are chatting with another person and you want to select two or three more people to have a private chat. Zoom could add a feature that lets you create a breakout room in the chat where you can collaborate. I think that would work fine because it's like being in an office where you can also start some other conversations. Even though there isn't a speaker in front of you talking, you can also have some further discussions with the coworkers at the same time. But none of the tools has that feature that I know of, or if they do, I haven't used it. Zoom could also maybe add some integrated storage that could be allocated according to your requirements, or it could be a subscription that you pay for. And the interface could possibly use some fancier colors or a more modern look. Sometimes everything on the screen is in black, but you can change the background, and that's good. But for example, the aspect of the screen is old-fashioned on Zoom. The design, screens, and layouts of the forms could all use an overhaul. If you have software that looks much better than the competitor, maybe it could be positioned better than the leader, probably, perhaps because you have your experience, I'll say. An end-user may be suitable. So, as I said, for example, you could also be in a conversation. And Zoom could add some integrated note-taking features. So when you are listening to a speaker, you can jot something down really quickly, or if you're the speaker, you can have some notes to help you with your presentation so you don't forget to say something. It would also be helpful if you could record the session yourself. Only the administrator can record the meeting not all the parties in the meeting. But I think it may not be possible because of the bandwidth, I guess. For how long have I used the solution? I have more than 30 years of working as a software director, product manager, and director of software development. So in terms of product development, you always want to envision the real goal you want to achieve in a given amount of time and how you want to differentiate from other products that are out there in the market. And you think about what kind of innovations you want to introduce in the product, so you start managing a roadmap and engage in version planning to release those new versions at a specific time. How are customer service and support? I've never had to contact Zoom support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Each company has its own preferred toolset of its preference. For example, some users or companies use Webex or GoToMeeting. Others use Skype, Meet, or Teams. But Zoom is the one that comes to mind when I am talking about these tools. In the past, for example, Skype was one of the first tools in the market that let people have virtual meetings for free. Zoom's strategy is to let everyone use the tool for at least 40 minutes without any restrictions, and when you reach the time limit, you restart the tool and continue the conversation. So that led so many users to adopt the tool. How was the initial setup? Installing Zoom is pretty straightforward. I haven't had any problems. It practically installs itself and takes about a minute, I believe. It updates and installs in that time, but there is also a web-based version so that you can work with it, and you don't need to install anything at all. The only problem I've had recently was a video issue. Everybody could hear me, but I couldn't share my video. I don't know why. I got out of the application and started it again, and I still couldn't show my screen. Maybe it's because I haven't installed the latest version or because I am working with Windows 7 instead of Windows 10 perhaps. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I've never paid for Zoom. When I worked for other companies, they had already bought a subscription or perpetual license. Aside from that, I've only ever used the free version. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. I say nine because all products have room for improvement. For instance, it would be a great idea if Zoom could provide APIs and a way to embed their products in third-party applications. Let's say I'm working in BPM or RPA tool and need to ask a question, so can I call someone, see their face, and have a little conversation without leaving the app. That would enhance the experience of using the BPM or RPA tool because you wouldn't have to leave your environment to collaborate with some others immediately. Zoom could be more like WhatsApp, where you can chat about something and get the answer from someone else. You can see all the conversations and search them. But you never see the same integration with a tool like Zoom, Skype, or any other tools in the market. And that would be terrific because it increases and enhances collaboration between people. And right now, because of the pandemic, we don't know when we'll be working together again at the same office. In some jobs, that could be indefinite. There's going to be a mix of people who like working from home or at the office, and they're going to need to interact, so you need a way for people to talk face to face. You need to see each other and feel a sense that you are close to that person. Even though you're not right there in front of the person, at least you have the chance to see them, not just some words written down in an instant messaging system. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chat function is a valuable feature What is our primary use case? I use Zoom for hosting and attending webinars, Q&A, attending classes, and hosting online meetings. I use it for both my personal and business needs. Our organization has approximately 150 people that use Zoom. What is most valuable? Zoom's content shareability and chat support are the most valuable features. What needs improvement? Zoom could use more background options. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a stable product. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is a scalable solution. How was the initial setup? Zoom is cloud based so the setup is straightforward and can be done without support. What about the implementation team? I implemented Zoom myself. What other advice do I have? We will continue to use Zoom. As the number of employees grow so will our usage of Zoom. I would rate Zoom a 9 out of 10. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, user-friendly, and has been problem-free What is our primary use case? The product is one of our prime platforms for delivering remote services. What is most valuable? The main feature I like with Zoom is that it allows me to do remote control and get access to the system so I have remote hands that I don't have to depend on the customer or the client to do things for me. They just give me access and I would be able to do what I need to do. That's one of the good features there. It also allowed me to easily transfer files back and forth. The solution is very user-friendly. The solution is easy to scale. As long as you have good connectivity, the stability is good. The initial setup is simple. What needs improvement? If a user has bad connectivity, Zoom will not work well. I can't say anything is lacking. Overall it's pretty sufficient. They may need to scale it some more in terms of global users. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Stability is pretty good, and the performance is decent. However, it's very dependant on the connectivity If the connectivity is poor, the stability won't be so good. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Scalability is possible with oom. It's not a problem to expand it as necessary. When we do training, we can add quite a bit of people. We've never had an issue during training sessions. Right now, everybody in our organization uses Zoom. How are customer service and support? We've never needed the assistance of technical support Everything is pretty straightforward. The solution is problem-free. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I'm also familiar with Microsoft Teams. Given what it is now, Zoom is pretty different from stuff like Teams. Teams is very corporate and as far as remote control and stuff are a lot more restrictive. It's not as user-friendly when coming into those types of things. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I'm just part of corporate. I don't know the exact cost of the license. I can't really speak to that. What other advice do I have? I don't know what version I use is. It gets updated every time I use it, therefore, it is likely the latest version. Zoom is the way to go. I haven't had any issues with it. I would rate the solution at a ten out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's easy to manage, it always works, and they're constantly adding new features to cater to the average user What is our primary use case? We use Zoom in two or three ways. One is for regular meetings. Most of our meetings are done over Zoom because people work from home due to COVID. A cloud meeting is the best way to go. People can initiate a meeting and invite people for one hour or two hours at a specific time. When people want to do that, they have to buy Zoom's cloud meetings and licenses. If you want to conduct a cloud-based event, Zoom has a solution for events, and you have to buy an event license from them. The third thing is Zoom rooms or Zoom video communications. Suppose you want to have a video conferencing device in your office, and you want to use that to connect via Zoom. You're in a boardroom where you have done the A/V integration. You can buy a Zoom room license and connect that solution to your Zoom meetings. What is most valuable? Mostly, we like Zoom meetings and Zoom rooms. For how long have I used the solution? We started using Zoom last year. How are customer service and support? Zoom has an email address. You write to them about any issues, and they respond. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Every solution has its special features because they're all competing with Zoom now. Zoom has started cornering the commercial market. WebEx was already in the enterprise market. Since the COVID outbreak, things have changed. Everybody's competing to update looks and features. I've been selling WebEx for a long time and Zoom also. I've used BlueJeans. All of the solutions are doing well, but Zoom's main benefit is that it's easy to manage. Zoom is orienting itself to the commercial market. They are considering allowing users to start with a hundred participants per meeting, and then if you want to increase, you pay more. Webex allows a thousand participants to start. You can join from any video device. With WebEx, if you want to join from a video device, you have to buy additional licenses. Most of our customers use Webex, but the government offices can't because of security issues. Banks also limit cloud applications to general meetings. Official meetings are on-prem only because they don't want to leak data on the cloud. Every major meeting must be recorded, so they won't do any cloud calling. If it is an urgent corporate meeting, they will not host it online. They only use Zoom or Webex for customer meetings or outside meetings. Zoom costs less and offers more features if you're going for the lower versions. Zoom will be cheaper if you want to have a general meeting, but if you want a real enterprise version, Cisco will be cheaper. How was the initial setup? Everything is easy with Zoom. You don't need to do anything but order it and tell the admin for that organization, and they will give one ID. For the remaining IDs, the admin will add the rest of the users. It's the same for any service, be it WebEx, BlueJeans, etc. You'll get one ID assigned to the administrator, and they can assign the rest of IDs to anyone in the organization. If you have 10 licenses, one ID is configured for the administrator, and they distribute the rest. We give a training on how to do it. It's all cloud-based, so nothing needs to be implemented in the office or anything. What was our ROI? Any cloud-based service offers a lot of benefits for customers. They don't have to invest in any on-prem infrastructure and they can use it on the go. They can be in the office, at home, traveling, at a hotel, or wherever, and they can start a meeting. There is no investment or recurring costs aside from the annual licenses. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. It always works, and they try to appeal to what the user wants. They added features like background music for those people who use Zoom for online church services. They try to make the solution more useful for the user. For example, I tried to sell WebEx to a church, but I also gave them Zoom for a trial. They were impressed with that because that was the feature they were looking for. Zoom got most of these churches globally because of one feature. It all depends on what the customer needs. Some people come along and say, "I want Zoom" just because they've heard of Zoom. However, it might not be a good fit when I tell them about the features. I speak to the customer, understand the requirements, and recommend they try this or that. Some people don't even need Zoom, but they ask for it. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good call quality, facilitates collaboration, and good technical support What is our primary use case? We primarily use Zoom for internal communication. What is most valuable? The quality of the calls and usability are good features. The collaboration features are good. What needs improvement? The cost should be cheaper. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for between two and three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? We use Zoom almost every day and I haven't had any problems with the connection. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? For us, scalability has been good. Everyone in the organization uses it and we have approximately 700 people. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is quite straightforward. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The licensing fees are quite expensive. What other advice do I have? In summary, this is a good product and I think that they are doing well with keeping it up to date in terms of features. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good desktop application that works exactly how you need it to What is our primary use case? My primary use is for virtual meetings and one-on-one communication. What needs improvement? In the next release, I would like to see an easily accessible bandwidth feature so that you can see how much data you've used on a particular call. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for the last two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The product works, it's stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is scalable, it can handle meetings with lots of delegates. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is really simple and can be installed in a couple of minutes - a rank novice could do it. What other advice do I have? The desktop application works nicely, and I would recommend the product for other people. I would give it a score of eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from More user friendly than most of its competitors What is our primary use case? We use Zoom and Teams for different corporate communications functions. Zoom is our standalone platform for meetings. We use Teams for internal chatting and when we need some integrated functions. How has it helped my organization? I like Zoom because it's a very simple program. We have more success using Zoom with clients, partners, and everybody else. Everybody seems to be able to get Zoom. Some people struggle with Teams. What is most valuable? I think Zoom is more user-friendly than most of its competitors. It's simple. I think Teams can be more restrictive. What needs improvement? Zoom isn't well integrated with anything else. Obviously, it's integrated enough to be able to set an appointment or schedule a Zoom meeting. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I have no issues with Zoom at all. I would rate Zoom best, Teams next, and Webex is a pain. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I haven't used Zoom for large meetings, but I've seen calls with hundreds of people. How was the initial setup? Zoom setup is the simplest. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, scalable, and simple installation What is our primary use case? Zoom can be used for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? Zoom is mobile-ready and easy to use. What needs improvement? The security and chat features should improve in Zoom. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable. However, in the time I have been using it I have only had trouble connecting to the server once. I think it might have been my internet connection. On another occasion using my mobile phone on the 4G network, not on Wi-Fi. I had some trouble with the network which caused some issues with Zoom but it was still pretty good. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I have found Zoom to be scalable. It's a very good solution. We have made huge teleconferences with a lot of people, and many video streams. During these pandemic times, I'm amazed at how this technology work and how these video streams work. We are talking about multiple video streams, not just one, not just two, but multiple video streams. This technology is amazing. We have half the people in our organization using Zoom when we are doing projects. How are customer service and support? I have not used technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We are really relying on these technologies. I have used Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Slack. They were really critical technologies during this pandemic. How was the initial setup? Zoom is easy to install and you can install the client for Zoom on an iPhone or Android phone or PC. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There are paid and free personal accounts for Zoom. What other advice do I have? I would recommend this solution to others, there are free accounts that make it useful for anyone. I rate Zoom a nine out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, scalable, and easy to use What is most valuable? Zoom is easy to use and you can have a session with someone with a few mouse clicks. It is easier to use than Microsoft Teams. What needs improvement? The free version of Zoom only allows you to have a call session for approximately 45 minutes. This should be extended. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to deploy, simple conference room feature, and works on any device What is our primary use case? We use this solution as part of our corporate communications system. I'm principal CTO and we are customers of Zoom. What is most valuable? It was easy to deploy Zoom and it's a product that was easily accepted throughout the company, even by our management team. Zoom is just very simple for the user and it works regardless of where you are and the device you're using. The ease of integration of the conference rooms for our leadership was probably the most valuable aspect. With WebEx or Teams where you need converters in the middle and things didn't always work, the leadership team was always complaining about those solutions. What needs improvement? One issue I have is that there is no indicator on chats to let you know whether a message has been read so you're never sure if it's been seen. They could implement something like Whatsapp with the two check marks. I also think that the integration with Microsoft is not as good as it was with Jabber. It's not the end of the world but it could be better. In a similar vein, I think that when it comes to document sharing the integration could be improved. What other advice do I have? I think that if your main focus is on communication between team members, especially with people working from home, this is a simple solution. We need to recognize that not everyone is an IT person and we're working with people at all levels in the company, whether they're in the field, the warehouses, or in fabrication. For all of them this is, quite honestly, more user-friendly than WebEx or Teams will ever be. Based on our use cases, I rate this solution nine out of 10. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mature platform, easier to install than some competitors What is our primary use case? My primary use case for Zoom is for contacting clients, suppliers, and even colleagues. We were working at a distance with some people. What is most valuable? One of the most valuable advantages of Zoom is that it is a bit easier to install than Microsoft Teams or WebEx by Cisco, for example. Another advantage of Zoom is that it is easier to link a person that is not a Zoom user than it is with WebEx. Overall, Zoom is a very mature platform. The only issues and glitches we have every had with it were related to Wi-Fi quality. For example, we can run into problems when a colleague is working on a low-quality Wi-Fi connection. Also, we try to use headsets in our meetings and this can create a problem, but that again is not an issue with the platform itself. What needs improvement? We have had some quality and lagging issues with video regardless of connection quality. We would experience things like poor audio quality or a choppy connection, but that was with older versions of Zoom. For how long have I used the solution? I started using Zoom 10 years ago. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is fairly stable. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We pay a per-seat monthly fee for keeping the license. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Intuitive platform but synchronization could be improved What is our primary use case? My primary use cases for Zoom are work, school, and private calls. However, my private calls only go over Zoom if a lot of people need to be involved for things like birthday parties or something like that. What is most valuable? The feature I find the most about Zoom is that you can have a private chat in a group call. What needs improvement? The synchronization could be improved. However, synchronization is as much a connectivity issue as a software one. If they can somehow introduce a compression algorithm that could reduce the throughput necessary, that would probably alleviate a lot of the issues of the data of the network connection. However, overall, I think it's pretty good. I like lean products. Zoom also has an issue with logins. For some reason, especially with institutional accounts, it is common to get kicked out and verification processes don't work all the time. This does depend on which device you have, what kind of operating system you are in, and if you switch operating systems. The migration of your account is actually pretty difficult and it is something that they should look at. The transferability between different environments is super important. How are customer service and support? I have not had to contact Zoom's technical support. How was the initial setup? The initial setup was easy for me. You go online and install it and it's done. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I have not paid a single cent ever for Zoom. However, I am paying with my data. What other advice do I have? Take 10 to 20 minutes to get to know the platform or ask someone to just walk you through it once. It's very intuitive if you know anything about technology. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has an easy setup What is our primary use case? We use the solution for Webex, town hall, chatting and Teams. What needs improvement? Non-technical support should be improved, such as that involving invoicing. I cannot think of anything offhand to improve regarding services. I would like to see avatars included in the next release. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for three years What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. How was the initial setup? The solution is easy to set up. What other advice do I have? As Zoom is quite good, I rate it as a ten out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has integrated scheduling with our email platform What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for company meetings and calls with customers. We also use it for presentations. In my previous job, I used it to conduct webinars, but not anymore. Sometimes, we use it for product demonstrations in the lab. What is most valuable? Zoom works fine, and its interface is easier to use than, for example, Teams, which is the other tool I would compare it to. It's also easy to schedule Zoom meetings through Outlook. It just works. We've never had issues with hearing someone or not being able to see the screen or anything like that. What needs improvement? I'm not an advanced user, so I don't have any detailed criticisms. I don't even know if Zoom has this already, but it could add some tools to design and draw on the screen whenever we are doing a whiteboard presentation for the customer. Zoom could have a built-in whiteboard. That would be a good feature for tools like this. The other thing I would add is maybe noise reduction. That could be improved. Everyone nowadays is working from home, so sometimes we hear the dog and stuff like that. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for at least seven or eight years now. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I would say Zoom is very stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I would say we've never had a situation where we couldn't add someone else to a Zoom call due to limitations. Nowadays, with the pandemic, I would say at least 90 percent of the company's 20,000 employees use it because most people are working from home. Next year, fewer people will probably use it because many people are going back to the office. I'm don't see a reason for usage to increase. If anything, it's going to decrease a bit because a lot of our internal meetings are going to happen in the physical office. However, maybe not all of our customers will return to the office. We'll still be using it, but it will depend on the customer. We are going to visit some physically at their offices. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? It wasn't my decision to go with Zoom. I'm just a user, and it is usually the corporate leadership's decision. At my previous company, we worked with Webex. They just switched to Zoom, and we didn't know why. It was probably a price issue or something like that. In my current company, we have both Zoom and Teams. Some customers prefer using Teams but others prefer using Zoom. How was the initial setup? My company has a framework that takes care of it. It's a tool called Workspace ONE. All we do is log in to our computer. We call Zoom, and if it's not installed, Workspace ONE takes care of it. It's pretty transparent. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We're using the paid version of Zoom. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. Nothing is perfect, but it's a solid tool that works great most of the time. It does what it says it should do. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? On-premises Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

I use Zoom mainly for meetings with colleagues or speaking with other people in the organization. I also use it to speak with people at my old job. What is most valuable? The most valuable feature is its reliability. What needs improvement? I have had the occasional problem with the connection and stability. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I have had problems with the connection but not very often. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I think that it is scalable. Everything that I have needed it for has been okay. In this organization, everybody uses it. There are between 40,000 and 50,000 students and approximately 10,000 faculty. It’s a lot of users. How are customer service and support? I have not had to contact technical support for anything. How was the initial setup? Zoom is definitely easy to set up. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The personal version that I was using is available free of charge. A subscription service is also available. What other advice do I have? My advice for anybody who is implementing Zoom is that it seems really straightforward. It's easy to set up and easy to use. Other than a few connection issues, I haven’t had any problems with it. I did a waste management audit for an energy company, which has a large presence in 15 countries, because of the COVID pandemic. I had done a virtual audit of the waste management process of their production facilities. I did a comprehensive audit for all their 15 operating countries, for example, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Wuhan in China, South Korea, Japan, and India. I had used Zoom to talk to people. How has it helped my organization? Zoom had served as a handy tool to connect and communicate with the world, especially my client organizations during the COVID phase. The fact that I could establish a seamless bridge is attributable to Zoom. Be it Online training sessions or Business Assessments, Zoom has served as a handy tool. So business sustenance served well. What is most valuable? The most valuable features of Zoom are voice and camera clarity. The time latency of the response is good. The facility to view all the participants who are online is a benefit. In most of the other similar solutions, they too have this feature. However, since I have used Zoom, I find it as an advantage because you can see all the participants online and you can choose. When using Zoom for a training program, seeing the participants online and then the latency is very good, it is more in real-time. Additionally, the security features are good. What needs improvement? My only concern in Zoom is the stigma associated with being a Chinese product. However, it has been acquired by the US government or a US counterpart has taken over it. There is not any issue with respect to data security. This being said, there is a little bit of apprehension when it comes to the data security aspect. It's better if they give a public statement that we are compliant with the GDPR requirements. It will be helpful for them in promoting their solution in a much better way. The internet infrastructure in India is not as good as in other places, such as the USA. Zoom could benefit by optimizing the connection to allow better operation of the solution under low bandwidth. Management of the latency time will give them an edge for data calls over other products. If I want to do a recording quickly, the way we should be able to do it should be slightly easier for the author. For example, if you are conducting a program and you are hosting it with a trainer that is subcontracted to your organization. In this case, the trainer, when you're giving me access to Zoom, I am using Zoom as the bridge to train your audience. In such a situation, as an author, or trainer, should have the facility to record it myself, I should be able to gain a copy of my training session for later usage or for a review. If they could add some feature to accomplish this it would be helpful. It would be very motivating for the trainers and auditors to do self-reviews and then later on they can review themself for improvement areas to work on. When I take a look at my own recording, I can have a better idea of how to improve for the next session or training program. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately 10 years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is highly stable. I never had connectivity issues where suddenly the line went off, and despite my internet bandwidth issues, I never faced a blackout. I had conducted training programs, for example, using zoom with several trainees in the session. Conceptual clarity is only possible when the bridge with the participants is clear enough to comprehend for the participant. I guess Zoom was good enough to connect well despite constraints, peak times and bandwidth issues which are often the challenges associated with online presence. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I had no problems with the scalability of Zoom. Since the COVID pandemic, this is the new way of communicating for many people. Many people are carrying out business, training programs, and virtual meetings. Many things that are happening, Zoom has a huge potential. If they can make their offering more attractive, easier to use, with beautiful dashboards, it is a big market for them. They can have their share value going up in the market. How are customer service and support? I have not needed to contact Zoom's technical support. How would you rate customer service and support? Positive Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have previously used Webex and Microsoft Teams. I have been using Microsoft Team prominently. A lot of people are preferring Microsoft Team because it is more reliable than most of the other solutions. Zoom is slightly less popular because of the data security issues associated with it and has been taken over by a US company. China does not own it anymore but there is still a stigma associated with data security and privacy when using Zoom, in my opinion. How was the initial setup? I do not remember how the initial implementation was but when the Zoom is implemented there is some waiting time when the login happens. Sometimes we are not sure if the connection is happening or not. There's a waiting time but happens also in Microsoft Team. At times it is as if we are blindfolded and waiting for the meeting connection to happen, you don't have a clue whether the connection is happening or not. I don't know if the issue is because of my internet connectivity, Zoom tool version, the other side of the connection is ready, or if the other party is joining or not. There are many question marks that are there that could be answered with some dashboard of what is the status is similar to tracking of a courier. It has gone somewhere and, midway, it is stuck, and then the other side is still yet to join. If Zoom can manage this delay and make it more creative in reflecting the participant and have the ability to inform the organizer of whether the connection is in place or not, it would be really helpful. What about the implementation team? Implementation and usage of Zoom are very user friendly. Sometimes when the meeting is arranged by the client the system admin of the client organization would extend support to share a document or share screen or other maneuvers. Support was good enough to enable the business discussion further without breaks breaks and interruptions. What was our ROI? Seamless integration with the business processes and timely communication with the clients adds huge value to the sustenance of Business. In a Virtual world of an evolving and fast emerging tomorrow, Zoom would be playing a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the Business Performance of Corporates across the world. My RoI is a small piece of a similar experience and experimentation with the Virtualization of the business ecosystem with Zoom. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There is a free version of Zoom which allows you a certain limited amount of time usage and there is a corporate version of the solution where you have to pay. They could improve the free version by allowing more time to use, it could benefit sales in the future. For example, let's say some students are using it or a certain kind of some CEOs or non-profit organizations are using, they can extend free access to such people. The Microsoft Teams solution is more expensive than Zoom. Which other solutions did I evaluate? When evaluating other solutions to Zoom, they all have similar functionality. For example, the dashboard icons are at the bottom of the screen. There is standardized functionality in most of the solutions. What other advice do I have? I would recommend this solution to others. They need to remove the Chinese stigma attached to the solution and then it would be better in the market for sales. If a customer comes to me and asks if Zoom is a good solution I highly recommend it. I rate Zoom a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use? Google Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

I'd like to see some more customization and the ability to increase meeting length without cost. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using this solution for nearly four years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is sufficiently scalable for my needs. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The breakout rooms are good for training exercise, but we sometimes have connection issues What is most valuable? Zoom's breakout rooms are an interesting feature that is quite useful for conducting exercises during training. I don't think Teams has this. I also like the recording capabilities, but that depends on the type of privileges that the user has. Not everybody in the organization has the ability to record. What needs improvement? We sometimes have difficulties connecting, but I never know if it's an issue with Zoom or the network. I would say it's Zoom because we have been working quite a lot from home. However, I would generally say I have not experienced that many issues with Zoom. I'm satisfied. For how long have I used the solution? We've been using Zoom within the company for the past two years or so. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Our organization has around a thousand people, and Zoom is the standard tool we have been using. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom seven out of 10. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, friendly and helpful support, provides functionality for recording meetings What is our primary use case? We use Zoom in my office for virtual meetings. We use it to attend meetings while at the office, from home, from the car, or from the hotel. It is a good solution for online meetings and in general, virtual communications. What is most valuable? It has a feature that allows you to store the recording of a meeting, which is good. What needs improvement? Zoom meetings can only have 1,000 attendees. For more than 1,000, you must buy the Zoom Webinar product. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately one year. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? This is a scalable product, although a Zoom meeting can only have 1,000 attendees. We have approximately 400 people that use it. We have to evaluate it further before deciding whether we will increase our usage. How are customer service and support? I have been in contact with technical support and it is good. They are very friendly. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We used another video conferencing solution for approximately two months. How was the initial setup? Zoom is very easy to set up. You simply download it and use it. If you have any confusion, you can get information about setting it up from YouTube or Google. It's very easy. What about the implementation team? I deployed it myself. No technical team is needed for deployment. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We pay a yearly licensing fee. What other advice do I have? Overall, this is a good product and I recommend it. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good screen sharing features, easy to use, and it integrates well with Outlook What is our primary use case? Zoom is one of the products that we use for meetings. We use it for internal partners, customers, and everyone that doesn't have a different preferred meeting platform. What is most valuable? The most valuable feature is the sharing capabilities. Whether it's a simple screen for PowerPointr or sharing videos, it works really well. I have had good success with sharing videos. The integration with Outlook has been good, which is a nice feature. Zoom is very easy to use. Even my elderly parents can use it, which is a testament to having ease of use without a lot of people needing to support it. What needs improvement? When the firewall is turned on, there have been issues with congestion that affects performance. This is the case even with a strong internet connection. For how long have I used the solution? We began using Zoom approximately two years ago. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Generally speaking, connections are fine. Turning off our firewall during a meeting is a good idea. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Scalability is fine. We've had no problems adding people to meetings. We have thousands of Zoom users in the company. There are 10,000 people in the company. I don't know that all of them are using it but certainly, there are at least 2,000. How are customer service and support? I have never needed to contact technical support. I am in sales. Our IT people may have been in contact with them. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Zoom and Microsoft Teams are our two standard products for meetings. How was the initial setup? Zoom is very easy to set up. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We generally have a strict budget so the pricing for Zoom is reasonable. Which other solutions did I evaluate? We used to use Webex and switched to Zoom about two years ago. I am not sure why we switched but I can say that Zoom is enormously easier to use than Webex. What other advice do I have? I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and has nice features for virtual meeting rooms What is our primary use case? I primarily use Zoom for webinars and virtual classes. At the beginning of the pandemic, we started using Zoom for work. After some time, we switched to Microsoft Teams for that purpose. We talk to our providers using Zoom but it is not common. This is deployed in a Linux environment. What is most valuable? I like the virtual meeting rooms in this product. They are very good and have very nice features. This is the easiest product to use for videoconferencing. What needs improvement? The interface could use some improvement. I like to see the whole screen and sometimes, it is difficult to hide the speaker's picture or my own picture from the forefront of the Zoom screen. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years, since 2019. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a very stable product. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I did not use another similar product prior to Zoom. I also use Microsoft Teams. We changed to Teams for work but I still use Zoom here and there. How was the initial setup? Downloading and installing Zoom was very easy to do. It did not take a long time. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I use the free version of Zoom that is available for download. What other advice do I have? Overall, I really like Zoom and it has everything that we need. The only complaint I have is about the interface. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to use, helpful virtual backgrounds, and meetings can host a lot of people What is our primary use case? Zoom is the product that we usually use for virtual meetings. How has it helped my organization? Having virtual meetings with Zoom makes life easier these days. What is most valuable? Zoom is quite simple to use. The virtual backgrounds are very useful because you can participate in a video conference from anywhere, and you do not have to show other people where you are. The high capacity means that you can have a lot of people in the same meeting. I once attended a meeting with approximately 400 people. What needs improvement? The chat functionality that is included is always in plain text, and you cannot change fonts by making them bold or italic. It's a very plain and basic chat. That said, other similar solutions that I have used, including Microsoft Teams and BlueJeans, have the same limitations. They put a lot of effort into video conferencing but they seem to forget about the chat feature inside the tool. It would be helpful if there were tabs available inside the meeting, where you could chat with people privately. As it is now, it's not very easy to do. Having tabs would allow you to have multiple conversations open for text chat during a meeting. Also, when you want to chat with somebody, a search feature should be available. If you have to select the user and if there is a list of 300 people in the same meeting, it's difficult to find the person that you want to reach. Being able to search for them would be helpful. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for approximately three years. My company switched to it just before the pandemic, perhaps in July or August of 2019. What do I think about the stability of the solution? With Zoom, I've never had any problem with stability. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? It seems that this solution is very scalable. I participated in a company meeting with approximately 400 people, all at the same time. Everybody in the company has a Zoom account. How are customer service and support? In the beginning, we had contact with Zoom for training. Beyond that, at least in my experience, I have never had to contact technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I use other platforms for meetings, including Microsoft Teams and BlueJeans, depending on what the customer is using. When I arrange a meeting, it is always done using Zoom. However, if I attend a meeting organized by another person then I have to use the platform that the client is using. Zoom is the most stable of these solutions that I have tested over the past three years. How was the initial setup? I am just a user and downloaded the client in order to use it. The initial setup is very easy from the user's perspective. You press the Next button on several screens and it's finished. What about the implementation team? I installed it on my own. Very little maintenance is required. When a new version is released, the solution informs you and then asks whether you want to download and install it. You can say Yes or No, depending on how much of a hurry you are in to attend the next meeting. From a client perspective, the update process is very easy to follow. You press the Next button several times, and it retains the configuration that you had. You don't need to re-sign in. It seems quite easy and overall, it is the easiest solution that I have used. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? In addition to any licensing fees, we hired Zoom to provide training to us in small groups. What other advice do I have? In summary, this is a good video conference solution and I recommend it. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall good quality, reliable, and simple installation What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? The overall quality of Zoom is very good, it performs well. The interface works well. What needs improvement? Zoom often does fixes or checks the vulnerability of their solution. However, they could increase security. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have approximately 100 users using the solution in my organization. How was the initial setup? the installation is straightforward, it only takes a few minutes. What about the implementation team? I did the implementation of the solution myself. We have one or two engineers that support this soltuion. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We are using the free version of the solution. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom an eight out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scalable and secure enough but has sync issues What is our primary use case? I'm always in calls through Zoom and other platforms. We use ours and then we use other people's as well. It depends on who sets up the meeting. It's really for client meetings and management meetings or board meetings. Anything that is not in-person we typically will use Zoom for. What is most valuable? The solution is stable. It's easy to use and at this point, it's certainly ubiquitous. It's everywhere. Everyone seems to have experience with it. The solution is scalable. It's secure enough. What needs improvement? In terms of connectivity, we've had issues, specifically this week. There were several instances where we couldn't connect into a meeting just on video and then couldn't even dial-in. Something was not working. It was like that for a good two days the last time it happened. We had to work around the issue. From a professional use point of view, it really just needs to work more solidly. It's not more features that they need. Rather, they could increase the stability and solve some of the sync problems they have with video and audio. For how long have I used the solution? I've used Zoom for probably about five years at this point. What do I think about the stability of the solution? There are a few stability problems. For example, occasionally, there's a sync problem between the video and the audio. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The scalability is good. It's pretty solid. I understand how complex these things are on the back end. I haven't seen it fail due to too many people being on it. Everyone uses it. It's quite extensively used. We have about 100 people in our organization that leverage it regularly. How are customer service and support? I've never contacted technical support. When we have had connectivity issues, I report them. Every time it didn't connect, I would send a message to let them understand the frequency of the issue. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I also use Teams to a certain degree. Even with Teams coming on as strongly as it is, Zoom is still the standard. What I'll often hear people say is, "on Zoom, I can do this. How do I do it here?" Zoom sets the standard for a lot of platforms. I work for a private equity firm and they're very concerned about security. For a while, we used WebEx due to the fact that it was secure. However, they were just were so far behind and there were problems with that. In the end, more often than not, you'd almost expect problems with the WebEx side. Zoom was better in that regard. Zoom is able to actually encrypt the meetings from end-to-end, point-to-point. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I don't handle anything related to costs or licensing. I don't know what the actual pricing is on the product. What other advice do I have? I work as a consultant for a private equity firm. I'm just a customer and an end-user. I'm up to date with the latest version at the moment. For the most part, the solution just works. However, when it doesn't work, it really doesn't work. A lot of people are finding success with Microsoft Teams. If a company already has Teams, if they're at a certain subscription level within Microsoft, they get Teams for free. If they're a company that has enough scale, then Teams will just come along with their subscription. Teams works well enough and has other factors and features from a collaboration standpoint. That makes it pretty compelling. That being said, what I'd recommend is if people are a Microsoft house and they have a certain level of their subscription before they invest in Zoom, see if they can't address their needs with Teams, otherwise, they might be spending money where they don't need to. I would rate the solution at a six out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scalable, stable, and great for webinars What is our primary use case? I use the solution for video calls. I use it for everything including meetings, interviews, webinars, et cetera. I use it a lot. How has it helped my organization? I use it in my company and since the pandemic, I use it every day. I entered into the company while the pandemic was just starting. I don't do any face-to-face with my coworkers. Everything is in Zoom, outside of the office setting. What is most valuable? Overall, I like it very much. I like the way that you can do webinars on it. That is the most valuable for me. The solution is stable. The scalability is good. What needs improvement? There are some features that are lacking. For example, sometimes, I want to share some pictures in the chat, and, in Zoom, you can't do that. That's the one item I'm missing. You can do that in Microsoft Teams with no problem. It's something I'd like to do in Zoom. I'd like integration with Outlook to set my meetings. As it is, right now, I have to go to the Zoom app to do that, and after that, export it to Outlook. It should be simpler. Maybe there is a secret I am missing. I'm not sure if it is possible in Zoom, however, in Cisco Webex, you can do the online translation of what the people are saying. That could be a good solution for people that actually don't speak English. For example, I speak Spanish. English is my second language. It would be helpful to have an in-app translation. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability has been good overall. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The product scales well. I've been on webinars with 500 people and have never had a problem with it. You can do rather sizable meetings. Everyone in my organization is using Zoom at this time. We have about 22,00 people that work within the organization. How are customer service and support? I'm from the IT world and can do my own troubleshooting. I've never been in touch with technical support. I cannot speak to how helpful they would be, or how responsive they are. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? In my organization, we can use Zoom or Microsoft Teams. A lot of people are changing to Teams due to the lack of integration in Zoom with Outlook. That said, almost everyone uses Zoom still. It was the first solution that this company had, therefore, likely the newest people are using Teams and the older ones are using and still using Zoom. I used to use Cisco WebEx as well. How was the initial setup? When I started using the solution I thought that it was a little bit hard to do as I was used to using Cisco Webex. The change was a little bit hard, however, it only took me a week to do all the things that I can actually do in Webex. Therefore, it's not too hard. I'm not sure if the solution requires any maintenance, however, we have a local IT team that would be able to handle any responsibilities if that's the case. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We have a company account. I'm not sure what the overall costs are to the company. What other advice do I have? I'm a customer and an end-user. I'm using the latest version of the product. I use it on mobile and on my laptop. I'd advise potential new users to compare the features of all the solutions that are actually in the market to see which would be the best fit for the company's purposes. It's a good idea, if it's possible, to run a POC to try and test all the features first. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. It's a great solution, however, I'd really like to be able to share images via chat in Zoom. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable, secure, and easy to use What is our primary use case? My primary use case is for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? The most valuable feature is how stable Zoom is. Compared to other collaboration tools, I haven't seen Zoom crash often. Zoom is also better in terms of security. From a usability perspective, a user's perspective, the overall experience of using Zoom is very good. It's a simple, fast, very seamless solution, and pretty lightweight. What needs improvement? Zoom could be improved by adding more third-party integrations. They should also work on their virtual backgrounds. I think these could be more professional and creative. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for over two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is very stable. The performance is much better compared to similar collaboration tools. How are customer service and support? I have never directly contacted Zoom's technical support. My organization has a centralized IT team. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Before switching to Zoom, I used Skype for Business. Skype for Business was very heavy, unstable, and difficult to use. It consumed a lot of memory and the overall experience wasn't very nice. As an organization, we sometimes use Microsoft Teams as well, but I always prefer using Zoom. The interface is very simple and elegant. How was the initial setup? The installation was a breeze. What about the implementation team? I implemented through an in-house team. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There is a license to pay for, but my company takes care of that. I don't actually spend anything. What other advice do I have? There are over 200 people in my organization using Zoom. As for maintenance, there are periodic updates from time to time, but there aren't a lot of operational challenges. It's purely cloud-based, which adds great value, and there are no challenges in maintaining it. I would rate Zoom an eight out of ten. I recommend it to anyone who wants to start using it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great file and screen sharing capabilities but needs to offer longer meetings on the personal version What is our primary use case? I use the solution for meetings and calls. What is most valuable? In Zoom, I don't have a preference for any of the features. If you know the application well, then you can use all the features. I'm using most of the features, including file sharing and sharing screens. The possibility for chat is very handy sometimes. The chat is very useful due to the fact that sometimes you have to run formulas and those kinds of things and to pronounce it is not enough. You have to write it down so that the person or people can see exactly what the formula is. The whiteboard capabilities are great. What needs improvement? I use Zoom not so much for business, due to the fact that the problem with Zoom is the restriction that you have where there are only 45 minutes allowed for a conference, and then you had to log out and start a new meeting. They should remove any restriction of time. Sometimes the time that you planned for the meeting is not enough. Sometimes it goes more than an hour, an hour and 10 minutes. That said, they may have already fixed this issue. When you start the Zoom meeting, at first, it didn't start directly, the meeting. It'd go to the web browser, then it asks you to open the zoom application. After it opens, then you can start. That it's a little bit too much of a problem for beginners. It would be easier and more user-friendly if you can go directly to the meeting without the hassle of starting up and waiting. It could just be a bit more user-friendly. The problem originally was that when Zoom started, they had most of the market. The problem that they had, is that with the COVID pandemic, a lot of people started using conferencing solutions and you had a paid version and a free version. The paid version had more features than the free version. That was confusing for people. They said, “okay, why do I have to pay for certain features?” A lot of people I know looked for free versions and there were other free versions. For example, I use Whereby also, and Whereby does all the things that Zoom can do. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. How are customer service and support? I know a lot of IT, and therefore, most of the things that come up I can fix and if I can't fix it directly, I go and I look on the internet for solutions. If I run into a problem, I'm not the first person that has run into the problem. I look for a solution myself. Most of the time I get the solution. I don't deal with technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I use Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet. I also use Whereby, which is free to use. I used MS Teams first, then Zoom. I use MS Teams due to the fact that I have a Microsoft account and a Microsoft company account. I started using Zoom when a lot of people started using Zoom. Using MS Teams is more difficult than using Zoom. How was the initial setup? I am tech-savvy. I'm not afraid to use applications and I can understand the logic behind the application. That said, I know that non-tech-savvy people had problems with starting up the Zoom meeting. The typical user doesn't understand the logic that's behind it. When you start it on the web, it's supposed to work directly on the web and not go to the application that is on your desktop and launch that. That is something that I can understand, however, it is not logical for people who are not accustomed to using IT so much. All that is to say that, for me, the initial setup is not complex, however, I'm not an average user. I work daily with 10 or 12 applications. I switch from one to another. For me, it's not difficult. For non-technical people, it might be. The deployment is fast and only takes a few minutes. It's maybe ten minutes or less. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I'm using a personal account, which is free. To use a company account, I have to go to the administration and fix that they pay the year account. I don't want to go through all of these procedures and all the hassle. That's the reason I use a personal account. What other advice do I have? I'm using Zoom on occasion. It depends on what the person I will have a conference with wants to use. I am flexible. I use various solutions. I pick the one that is better for the other side. I tend to use the most up-to-date version of the solution. I'd advise users to use the solution as it's a good product. In the beginning, it scared me off because as there were a lot of rumors about privacy. For a few months, I didn't use it until I knew that they had fixed that problem. Now security is fine. I'd rate the solution at a seven out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good communication, reliable, and easy to download What is our primary use case? We are service providers. If a client has some of those licenses, they will arrange for a Zoom meeting. We share whatever storage the clients have, but we do not purchase storage. Zoom is used for video communication. What is most valuable? The performance is good. We are satisfied with this solution, it's good. What needs improvement? Security is required, and I assume that it is already in place. Aside from that, we are not utilizing Zoom's high-end capabilities. In the next release, I would like to see better security. For how long have I used the solution? I have been working with Zoom for three years. It is dependent on what the client does on their end in terms of deployment. What do I think about the stability of the solution? We haven't had any problems with Zoom in our limited use. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have not had any issues with the scalability of Zoom. How are customer service and support? I have not contacted technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Jaeger, Teams, and Grafana are the tools used in the company for remote monitoring. We use a variety of operating systems, including Linux, Unix, and Windows. We also use the network storage for office purposes and I personally use Google Drive, iPhone, and iCloud. I don't work with the Enterprise edition; instead, I use the open edition. How was the initial setup? It doesn't require installation, we use a link, but sometimes we have to download from the browser. This process is straightforward. What about the implementation team? I was able to complete this process myself. What other advice do I have? I would recommend Zoom to anyone who is thinking about using it. I would rate Zoom an eight out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Free, stable, and easy to install and use What is our primary use case? We use it for virtual meetings, sharing documents, and conferencing. What is most valuable? Screen sharing is valuable. It is very easy to install, and then there are 45 minutes free of charge. It is also very stable. It is a very simple and very easy-to-use tool for conversation with other people. What needs improvement? In some cases, I am not able to have a special background during the conversation. It could be because my device is not powerful enough, but I am not able to share a properly designed background. I am having problems setting up my virtual background. It is very easy to set up a virtual background during the conversation with Microsoft Teams, and that's why I like Microsoft Teams, but with Zoom, I find it difficult. I am not able to set up my virtual background very easily. They can look into this area and then see how to improve it. It is just for meetings and conversations. It does not have any collaboration or integration with other software that we are using. When you use Microsoft solutions, you can work with a lot of things. You can define your folders. In Office 365, you have folders, and you can use Word, Excel, etc. During your discussion, you can have a structure to keep your files related to your team organized, but Zoom is just for conversation. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using this solution for three or four years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? It is very stable. How are customer service and support? I have never contacted their support team. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used WebEx, but I don't like WebEx. I also use Zoho Meeting, and I prefer it over other solutions. They have email and a lot of other things. I don't have any problems with it. Google also offers a whole package for documents, spreadsheets, email, etc. Everything is linked together, whereas Zoom doesn't have such integrations, but Zoom is still useful for personal use or personal groups. One thing I'm not sure about is the coverage in terms of the countries where it can be used. Some of the packages, such as from Google, cannot be used in certain countries, but for Zoom, I'm not sure if there are some restrictions in other countries. In my environment, I can use Zoom to interact with customers. How was the initial setup? It is straightforward. What about the implementation team? I could do it on my own. No technical assistance was required. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I am using the free version. What other advice do I have? It is good for personal usage, but for work, it is not my first choice. There are many choices for work environments. I would rate it an eight out of 10. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient solution for virtual meetings What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for virtual meetings. We have 250 people in our company using Zoom. This is a cloud solution. What is most valuable? The video stream is very cool, and it's an efficient solution. What needs improvement? It could be more user friendly, like having permission to share documents quickly with other users. It's a heavy application that requires a lot of bandwidth. I would like to see Zoom incorporate those features where you can share documents and form teams while still maintaining efficiency. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using this solution since 2019. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? It's scalable. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Before using Zoom, we used Cisco Webex. Compared to Microsoft Teams, I see Teams as being very heavy. I see it as a solution that was developed in a rush. It's just too heavy if you don't have the bandwidth. It's not as efficient as Zoom. Zoom gives you the experience of seeing the other person who you are conversing with, even though the person is remote. How was the initial setup? Installation is very easy. What about the implementation team? We did the installation ourselves. What other advice do I have? I would rate this solution 9 out of 10. I recommend this solution. It's very comfortable and easy to use. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enables one to easily connect with customers, clients and colleagues and comes with an easy and fast installation What is our primary use case? We are using the latest update of the solution, although I cannot specify which version. We mostly use the solution for presentation and conferences and, occasionally, for support. Initially, I used Zoom primarily for remote conferencing, but at a certain point started using it in parallel for its remote support. How has it helped my organization? Primarily during the period of problematic travel, the solution enabled us to connect with customers, clients and even colleagues and to share our thoughts, ideas and information. What is most valuable? It is difficult for me to point to any specific feature that I found to be most valuable. In the past, I used the solution a lot more but, of late, more with my kids. Should they require assistance on their computer, I can easily join in to actively provide this. What needs improvement? It is difficult for me to point to areas in need of improvement, since I have not used the solution much of late. More than a year ago, I had many suggestions, but do not recall any at the moment. The reason I choose to rate the solution as an eight out of ten is because it needs improvements, such as the user interface needing to be more straightforward and easier to use. My colleague also does not appear in the menu in the proper place. Particulary people who lack computer savvy would not be able to find the appropriate option in the menu. This said, I struggle to think of any specific features that I wish to be added or changed to the solution. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using the solution for several years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Overall, the solution is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I am not in a position to comment on the solution's scalability, as I did not attempt to do this. How are customer service and support? I cannot comment on technical support, as I have not had dealings with them. How was the initial setup? The installation was relatively straightforward. It was quite fast, taking sevaral minutes on a standard computer. What about the implementation team? I handled the installation on my own. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We do not incur a licensing fee. What other advice do I have? In the past, I served as an IT manager, but I was not involved in implementation in my previous cyber security role. I am just a user. We use the solution both for company and personal needs. We are talking about a company that numbered no more than ten people, consisting of engineers, architects, managers and administrators, so everyone in it was making use of the solution. I would recommend the solution to others. It's quite straightforward and easy to use. I rate Zoom as an eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? The most valuable features of Zoom are its ease of use, screen sharing, and annotations. What needs improvement? The chat functionality in Zoom could improve. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability of Zoom has been fine. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have approximately 100,000 users using this solution in my organization. How was the initial setup? We have all of our software in our company pre-installed. What about the implementation team? We have a technical team that does the implementation of our software. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom a ten out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonable price, easy to install, and works well What is our primary use case? I am using it for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? I'm using it only for meetings, and it is good for me. It provides options for remote control and screen sharing. What needs improvement? If anything, the updates could be less frequent. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using this solution for a couple of years. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? We have about 120 users who are using this solution. We don't have any plans to increase its usage. How are customer service and support? We connected with them only once. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We used to work with Skype in the past, but we are not using that. This is the solution that we chose. I don't care whether it is Webex, Skype, Meet, or something else, as long as it works and it is stable. How was the initial setup? It took me minutes. That's all. What about the implementation team? I can install it on my own. There is no need for a technical person. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? It is reasonable. It has a monthly license. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easier to use than Microsoft but slows down when too many people log in at once What needs improvement? The video side should be improved, especially if too many people log in at once. While they say that the solution can support up to 100 connections simultaneously, it slows down once 20 or 25 people join. So too, the quality of the audio decreases and this is in spite of one being in a good internet area with good network speed. For the moment, Zoom only allows one to schedule, so it would be nice if it offered the option of creating channels, such as Slack does. The latter solution allows everyone to be on the same call with just a click. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for two-and-a-half years. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom comprises our main mode of video communication. We have slowly started incorporating Microsoft Teams, since the company, our employees and the back office use this. Consequently, it is sometimes easier for us to simply conduct a quick call. Which other solutions did I evaluate? I rate Zoom as a seven out of ten. This is because it is much easier to use than Microsoft Teams, but both of these solutions face similar issues when too many people log in at the same time. In fact, Zoom rates slightly lower than Microsoft Teams in terms of video and audio quality when too many people, 20 or 25, log in at once. Zoom only allows for scheduling at the moment, so it would be nice if it offered the option of creating channels, such as with Slack. The latter solution allows everyone to be on the same call with just a click. What other advice do I have? I believe we deploy the solution on the cloud. Half of our organization makes use of Microsoft Teams and the rest use Zoom. I rate Zoom as a seven out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable, good performance, and straightforward implementation What is our primary use case? Zoom is used for virtual meetings. Additionally, we use it for chatting, sending files, and voice messages in our organization. What needs improvement? When anyone installs Zoom for organizational purposes, then it's fine because all the safety and protection is taken care of by the organization. However, when it's done on a personal basis the terms and conditions, you are not secure. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I have found Zoom to be stable and it has good performance. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is scalable. The solution is used by our whole organization and the number of people using it is approximately 250,000. How are customer service and support? I have never encountered any issues to contact support. How was the initial setup? The installation is straightforward. What about the implementation team? I did the installation myself. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The personal version is free. However, there are fees required to use the solution for business. What other advice do I have? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, has a friendly user interface, and is stable What is our primary use case? We only use the solution for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? The solution is very stable. Every time, it works. It works quite well when we need it to. The solution has a very friendly user interface. The communication and audio conferencing features are great. Zoom is pretty safe and secure. What needs improvement? While the communication and video-audio conferencing features on Zoom are excellent, unlike Microsoft Teams, there is no direct integration with SharePoint. For us, that is the disadvantage of Zoom. Zoom lacks integrations and many extra features. Microsoft Teams, on the other hand, has many features and integrates well with many Microsoft apps. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using the solution for three years at this point. It's been a while. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability of the product is quite good. There are no bugs. It isn't glitchy. It doesn't crash or freeze. it's a reliable platform. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Many people in our organization use the product. How are customer service and support? We haven't had any issues with the product. We've never really reached out to technical support directly. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We also use Microsoft Teams. However, Zoom is more user-friendly and has a better interface. The advantage of Teams is the integration with Sharepoint, which Zoom doesn't have. Previous to these, we used Skype a lot. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is pretty easy. It takes a little time. We did a deployment in our organization is six hours. What about the implementation team? We were able to handle the implementation ourselves. We didn't need any integrators or consultants. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We pay Zoom a yearly licensing fee. What other advice do I have? As a cloud-based solution, I'm always on the latest version. I cannot speak to the exact version number I'm using right now. I'd recommend the solution to other users and organizations. We are happy with its capabilities. I'd rate it at a perfect ten out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, minimal configuration, and reliable What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for meetings and patients get to see people, such as relatives who are in foreign countries. How has it helped my organization? We have some long-term care patients and they were able to use Zoom to talk to their relatives without having them come in to visit. This was beneficial during the Covid pandemic. What is most valuable? Zoom is easy to use and does not require much network bandwidth. Additionally, it does not require a lot of configuration which is very good. It is a very simple product, the client launches well from the web browser, and it doesn't have a large number of features, but it doesn't really require it. What needs improvement? The security of the solution could improve. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability and reliability of the Zoom have been good. However, our systems have good bandwidth and I am not sure how it would operate with low bandwidth. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The scalability of the solution is good. We have approximately 125 users using the solution in my organization. How are customer service and support? I have never needed to contact support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We have previously used WebEx. We pay for WebEx, but the product seems to be really configuration-heavy. It has better security, but it requires a lot of administrative work on our side. You have to configure a huge amount of ports and sites for the firewall, whereas, in Zoom, you don't have to do that much configuration. How was the initial setup? The setup is simple and there is no maintenance required. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? We are using the free version of Zoom. What other advice do I have? My advice to others wanting to implement this solution is to make sure the ports are open for access. I rate Zoom a nine out of ten. I rate Zoom a nine because it's easy to use and setup doesn't require someone with technical knowledge to run it. I guess the interface is pretty intuitive because we haven't had any calls from the users once we opened it up. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall good features, allows large group conferences, and priced well What is our primary use case? I use Zoom for communication. What is most valuable? Overall, Zoom is a good product because we are using it globally, and it is a good way of connecting with everyone globally. You are able to have 40-50 people or hundreds of people communicating, depending on your contacts. What needs improvement? I find while using Zoom sometimes there is a lot of disturbance while on the call. There is a lot of network issues, and sometimes the screen freezes, and you have no way of figuring out what went wrong. You have to restart the computer all over again, or you lose some of the words that someone was saying during the meeting, such as what the person is trying to say in the midst of that conversation. Additionally, there have been times it has disconnected and was not able to start. The solution should be more user-friendly. I should not have to reboot and go through these steps to have a solution. I have not seen any internet connection issues. It seems to be automatically right inside the system that is the issue and this is what I have heard. These are all minor issues but they should be taken care of. I would like to see better architecture from an end-user perspective. it should be easy to use and user-friendly because there are some places that are difficult to find or to navigate. It is difficult to figure out where to go for certain features within the application. If it had better navigation users would get things done faster. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately one year. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used other solutions, such as Skype. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The annual price of approximately $200 for the solution is reasonable. What other advice do I have? Zoom is widely used and it has been better than other solutions, such as Skype. I rate Zoom an eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straightforward installation, but the user interface could be more user-friendly What is our primary use case? We use the solution for virtual meetings. What needs improvement? The interface could be more user-friendly. I am only referring to my limited personal experience. This should not present an issue for an experienced user. It's a little bit hard for me to type the numbers, as we mostly use Teams, meaning our experience is lacking. I have used the solution on several occasions, although not too many. This difficulty could, perhaps, be chalked up to my lack of experience. For how long have I used the solution? We have been using Zoom for one or two years. How was the initial setup? I felt the installation to be straightforward. I do not know for certain how long this process lasted, perhaps 15 minutes. What about the implementation team? One can handle the installation on his own, as I have made use of the solution on several occasions. I have endorsed the solution in the past and make use of it myself, so I do not need recourse to the information. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? As I am not in charge of managing Zoom, I cannot speak for the licensing requirements. I believe that all of their licenses are purchased, so that they may use the solution for their teaching purposes. What other advice do I have? I assume that the solution is cloud-based, although I cannot say for certain as I am just a user. The solution has so far been fine for me and has not presented too many issues. I do not know for certain how many users are using the solution in our organization, although I would estimate this figure to exceed 1,000, maybe reaching several thousand. I know there are at least a thousand. As we are a university, we have several thousand people, numbering more than 10,000 students, some of whom are making use of the solution. However, there are those who are not, so I cannot only guess at the number. At least a thousand seems reasonable. I would recommend the solution to others, although there is really no choice in its use, as this is done out of necessity. I rate Zoom between a six and seven out of ten. I don't have Zoom installed, so I have to join through the web. I only use the browser version. What is most valuable? Zoom is useful for virtual meetings. What needs improvement? Zoom could be improved by making it easier to join meetings. It can be a bit confusing because sometimes you need meeting IDs and logins, sometimes you don't. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for about two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I've had no issues with Zoom. It has been stable. How are customer service and support? The video quality should be better. Sometimes when there are updates at the backend, Zoom won't respond properly during that time. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for quite a while, both before the pandemic and post-pandemic, in a much more hands-on way. It's a cloud solution. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good communication and performance, but the time limit in the free version should be removed or increased What is our primary use case? I am a pre-sales consultant. I use the basic features in Zoom, to have conversations with clients, show some presentations, and for sharing. I'm not a very advanced user. What is most valuable? The sharing and recording, are the most valuable features of Zoom. What needs improvement? If whiteboarding is not available, it would be beneficial. I'm not sure if it exists. If I can do some whiteboard sessions, that would be great. Whiteboarding would allow me to utilize the screen to draw something, explain, and write something. For how long have I used the solution? I have been working with Zoom for two years. The corporation updates this solution on a regular basis. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a stable solution. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I'm not sure about scalability because I didn't host that many people on it, so I can't really comment on scalability or how well it performs when there are a lot of attendees and sessions. I really don't have the experience. How are customer service and support? I have not contacted technical support. It is maintained by my company; I am a user who does not get involved in the technical aspects. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I am exploring Microsoft, but Studio is no longer supported. I have some experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I use Teams a lot and prefer it to Zoom simply because I'm more comfortable with it and there's no time limit. I don't need to worry about when my meeting ends. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is simple, it's straightforward. Zoom is maintained by my corporate IT team. I am a user, I use this solution. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? What I don't like is the 45-minute time limit on the free subscription. Teams, on the other hand, do not operate in this manner. You can utilize as much use of Teams as you want. There are no time limits in the free version of Teams. It is included with your Office 365 subscription. If you have Office 365, which everyone does, it is included. You can't use Word, Excel, or PowerPoint without it. The free version has a time limit, but paid subscriptions are available. What other advice do I have? I would rate Zoom a seven out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straightforward setup, stable, but could be more user-friendly What is our primary use case? I am using Zoom for online courses because my professor uses it. I have not used the technical support from Zoom. How was the initial setup? The initial setup of Zoom is simple, it is similar to any other application. What about the implementation team? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for delivering online language lessons What is our primary use case? We are a language business, we utilize Zoom to hold virtual meetings with clients and customers, in addition we deliver our online lessons through Zoom. What is most valuable? The features I find most valuable are its simplicity to use and we use the recording functionality within meetings. This helps students who may have missed a lesson for some reason, they can then pick up via the recorded session. One other key feature for us is the centralized management of Zoom, our administration team finds this very useful. What needs improvement? When we host meetings, all of our meetings are recorded. Some clients request that we do not record the meetings and we have to adhere to that. Unfortunately with our Zoom installation and licensing we are unable to switch to that configuration. In that scenario we have to utilize Google Meet for this type of client. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The Zoom software product is very stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Approximately 70-75 users utilize Zoom within the organization, we can scale licenses up and down to suit our needs. How was the initial setup? I find the initial setup of Zoom very easy to follow and install. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from High-level video quality, plenty of features, and highly scalable What is our primary use case? I use Zoom as a communication solution. I am an active user of the solution and I use it for approximately six hours a day. What is most valuable? There are many valuables features of Zoom. The visibility is very good. The ability to see everyone that is talking and the indication spotlight of who the primary speaker is helpful. The solution is interactive, the participants are able to raise their hand, comment, give gestures, such as thumbs up or down. There is the option to record, the quality of the video is great, the quality of the desktop sharing is clear, easy scheduling, and overall ease of use. What needs improvement? The solution can improve by having the option to be able to lock the primary speaker on high definition the entire time. Additionally, it would be a benefit to have easy Zoom room-like features for individuals using lightboards. There should be quick invitations and integration with Slack and Outlook. In an upcoming release, I would like to have a push-button screen capture of what I am doing. I do not want to record the whole process, but I want a push-button screen capture. For example, if we are doing a PowerPoint or lightboard and I have edited it and I want to capture the change, having a push-button that records it to my laptop would be a large advantage. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is good but I noticed quality issues for people who are using cell phones. There should be a note somewhere that says landline preferred. It is best to use WiFi rather than mobile data. This is more of a user issue than it is a platform issue. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The solution is highly scalable. We have zoom sessions that include tens of thousands of people. How are customer service and support? I have never had an issue with Zoom to have the need to contact the support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used WebEx and Teams previously. The video quality is poor, I cannot do screenshots easily or see what my lightboards are doing. When I am looking at myself on Teams, Teams flips my video around and there is no option for me to do a screen capture on Teams. If I am on a Teams call, I open up Zoom, I flip to Zoom video, I do my screen capture there and then I flip back to Teams for the call. I dislike Teams. What other advice do I have? The additions I have suggested are to make an already amazing platform even better. My utilization of Zoom is better than everybody else in my organization as far as how many features are being used. I do training, teachings, and client-facing workshops and I have a lightboard integrated with Zoom, I use it extensively. I rate Zoom a ten out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs better than competitors and has a user-friendly interface What is our primary use case? There are upwards of 200 people in my organization using Zoom for video conferencing. What is most valuable? Compared to Teams, Zoom's performance and user interface are better. This is especially the case when you're doing any kind of online presentation, PowerPoint, or team demo. I think Zoom is much more user friendly. I don't know the level of security of Zoom, but it underwent a CSO test and was approved, so the level of security is good enough for us to use it. Since we are dealing with cyber security, I think it should be well secured. What needs improvement? If Zoom could be more secure, that would be better. Security is always a highly sensitive matter for everyone today. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for five or six years. How are customer service and support? We've had no issues with Zoom that required us to contact technical support. How was the initial setup? Installing Zoom is very straightforward. It only took a couple of minutes. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I don't know what the price for Zoom is. It's a company license, so I don't know anything about pricing. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. I would recommend it to others. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good audio and video quality, ease of use, accountability and intuitiveness What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for conference calls of a comparatively large scale. What is most valuable? I rate Zoom as an eight out of ten, owing to the quality of its video and audio, its accountability, ease of use and intuitiveness. The UIs are very easy. Everything on Zoom is good. What needs improvement? The technical support is very bad. If one is using Zoom SDK for building up his internal tool, then the support he can expect on a Mac OS is very bad. There will not be support for the latest version of the Xcode and development involvement. There are many challenges and integration is difficult. These are some of the issues which have been relayed to me by certain developers. There is an issue with the integrations with custom applications. If, say, I am using Zoom SDK for customizing a product, I would encounter difficulty in integrating it with one of my native products. The technical expertise and documentation provided is very poor and that won't help the developers integrate everything smoothly. I have encountered certain difficulties with Zoom screen-sharing and multi-use of sharing. There should exist the ability to share for multiple users. How are customer service and support? Zoom's technical support is very bad. The technical documentation and expertise they provide is very poor and does not facilitate an entirely smooth integration by the developers. What about the implementation team? We integrated in-house. However, the responses we received to the many questions we posted on the Zoom developer portal were not good, lacking prioritization. Which other solutions did I evaluate? In addition to the solution, we evaluated Zudy VINYL, but noticed that the packages they offer are a bit on the costly side. What other advice do I have? A friend of mine customized Zoom for one of his solutions. We are working with customers on multiple solutions, as we are part of a service provider company. We have the technology tools that our customers require. Our Zoom use spans the entire organization. Mainly managers make use of it and sharing will be done with the team. We generally use Microsoft Teams for internal communication. I rate Zoom as an eight out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use but not very secure What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for virtual meetings. We have viewer than 100 employees in our organization. What is most valuable? Zoom is easy to use. What needs improvement? I think Zoom is not secure. For how long have I used the solution? We've been using Zoom since the COVID pandemic started. How are customer service and support? I've never contacted Zoom support. How was the initial setup? The setup is simple. It only takes a few minutes and you can do it by yourself. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom seven out of 10. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, simple to use, and straightforward to access What is our primary use case? I use the solution for digital calls. I keep in touch with family and friends using it. What is most valuable? It's very simple to use. The video conferencing is great and very easy to access. It's helpful for sharing information and communication. The installation process is very simple. The stability is very good. What needs improvement? I can't speak to any aspect that needs improvement. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for about half a year at this point. It's been around six months. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is great. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. How are customer service and support? I've never directly dealt with technical support from Zoom. I wouldn't be able to rate their services. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I've also used Skype. While I typically use Zoom to cover my personal needs, my previous employer used Microsoft Teams and I'm pretty familiar with that solution as well. How was the initial setup? The initial setup was straightforward and simple. I would rate the process at a five out of five for the level of the simplicity involved. The process itself is relatively quick. What about the implementation team? I was able to handle the implementation myself. It's not difficult. I did not need outside assistance. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I can't speak to the exact costs of the solution. It's not an aspect I dealt with. What other advice do I have? We have web-based access to the service. I'm not sure which version of the solution I'm currently using. I would recommend the product to others. I'd rate the solution overall at an eight out of ten. It does what I need it to do. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straightforward to use, good for communication tasks, and offers decent pricing What is our primary use case? I primarily use Zoom for conferencing. What is most valuable? I don't have a problem with the pricing. I'm not a really technologically sophisticated user. I just use it. From my point of view, if I can use it, it's likely very straightforward. It's very helpful for communicating with others. What needs improvement? It's hard for me to find where the button is in order to start a call. The setup could be a bit simpler. That's it. Everything else is pretty simple. I'd like for there to be more integrations possible in the future. If there was an easy way to share files, that would be ideal. They could improve their permission settings a little bit. For how long have I used the solution? I've used the solution for one year. It hasn't been that long. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is a bit difficult in that I always have trouble finding the button to initiate the process. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The pricing is decent and I don't consider it to be overly expensive. What other advice do I have? I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. It's very useful for conferencing and works well, however, there's always room for improvement. I'm just a customer and an end-user. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Zoom's drawing tools could be better integrated. For how long have I used the solution? We've been using Zoom for about two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is scalable. We have about 10,000 users at my company. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We used Webex in the past. How was the initial setup? Zoom is a cloud service. I think we only have to pay for the license. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable and scalable video communications app; reasonably priced and easy to set up What is our primary use case? Zoom is used day-to-day like a mobile phone, so you can connect with your audience or customer from the other side of the screen, though there's nothing extraordinary about it. What needs improvement? A voice chatting feature could be added to Zoom, and its screen sharing feature could be improved, though some users will find more value in these changes more than I would. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom since the pandemic, so more than two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is very stable. There are times it isn't as stable, but that could be the fault of your internet connection, not the fault of the application. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is scalable because they offer different packages. For example, I'm paying for Zoom, particularly a professional license for one person. I only use the professional, personal license, but you can scale up for a team or for an organization and pay for a different license type or package. How was the initial setup? Zoom is very easy to set up. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? If I had to rate the cost of this solution with one being the worst and ten being the best, I'll rate it a ten. Which other solutions did I evaluate? I evaluated Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and GoToMeeting. What other advice do I have? I'm a partner of UiPath. I'm an implementer and I'm also a user of some of UiPath's products. I don't have hands-on experience with UiPath Process Mining, because here in Mexico, it is not the common. Not all companies have well-implemented ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft, so when you put or connect the process miner, you'll find nothing in the results. I know what a process miner is, but it's not very common here. I have here Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism, but all the robots work the same, and the only change is the flavor. All the robots have the same capacity and the same level of trustworthiness. The only difference between UiPath and the rest of the competitors is that UiPath's first robot: the Attended Robot, is cheaper than other robots. Its price is the only real difference in the market. I only specialize in RPA (robotic process automation). I also use other tools, e.g. web meeting solutions such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I have an account in Zoom. Zoom is deployed on-premises in our organization. It's on-premise: on every laptop and on every desktop. My usage of Zoom is low, e.g. I just use it to talk with two or three people on the other side of the cloud. I have not used it for other purposes. I know it has a webcast or video webinar feature, and it's not common for me to use that. Other users may see the difference with using Zoom vs another application and be able to mention valuable features of Zoom, but in my case, I'm unable to. I also don't have any idea on what could be improved in Zoom. I never had to call technical support. My partner recommended Zoom to me, but when you have to talk or connect with other people, you'll always say to connect through Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, or GoToMeeting. Zoom is recommended by everyone, though, and always comes out of everyone's mouth. Everybody knows Zoom. My overall rating for this product is an eight out of ten. For its cost, I'll rate it a ten. I haven't given much thought on how my rating for this solution could increase from an eight to a ten because Zoom's current use for me is just to connect with people and nothing more. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? On-premises Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Video access is a great feature that improves communication What is our primary use case? I've been using this solution for meetings, both within the company and externally with our customers. What is most valuable? I like that Zoom provides video access, which I believe provides for better communication and a more relaxed situation. I know some people don't like it, but I do. I'm not a power user but it suits my requirements and does what I need. What needs improvement? Troubleshooting on Zoom can be complicated. You can get a message: "I can't find your camera." It worked yesterday but it doesn't work today. The problem is that the camera is not available in Windows. It requires Windows troubleshooting skills. Zoom uses what Windows offers and Windows fails to offer the camera. The same holds for audio. If you switch to a different headphone in the middle of a meeting, Zoom can't find it because it's a Windows problem. It usually requires canceling the call, fixing the problem and calling again. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The solution is stable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The solution is quite scalable, I can invite up to 50 people onto a call and I can invite 100 people if I have that kind of license. How was the initial setup? I find the initial setup a little awkward. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? Licensing costs depend on the number of people per call and the length of calls. There is a standard license for 50 participants that we use. Above that number, you need a special license. What other advice do I have? I find Zoom easier to use and easier to troubleshoot than Microsoft Teams so I would recommend it. I rate Zoom eight out of 10. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? On-premises Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cost-effective, straightforward to install, and works reliably for casual meetings What is our primary use case? My role in the company involves the infrastructure domain, and in this position, I use Zoom for video conferencing. I also use Zoom at home for meetings. What needs improvement? The security can be improved because this is one of the reasons that my organization prefers to use Skype. There are concerns about security. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for perhaps three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable and I haven't had any problems with it. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Two of us at home use this product, and we don't expect our usage to increase. Nobody is needed for maintenance because none is required. I cannot discuss the number of users that we have in my organization. How are customer service and support? I have never had a problem that required me to contact technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I also have experience with using Skype for Business. I use that solution more in my organization, and use Zoom more for personal communications. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is straightforward. What about the implementation team? I installed it myself. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I am using the free version, so I don't pay anything to use it. What other advice do I have? I don't use Zoom on a daily basis but in general, I'm satisfied with it. This is a product that I recommend, although I'm using it casually and as such, I don't have high expectations. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multifunctional, scalable, and stable platform for virtual office setups, online meetings, and video conferencing What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for online meetings, office setup, and video conferencing. We also set up Zoom as a virtual office. We have different people who work from home. People log in at 9:30 in the morning, and they're online until 6:15 in the evening. What is most valuable? I wanted to set up a virtual office and work-from-home scenarios, and this is where I found Zoom to be good. It helps me and the company do remote work by setting up a virtual office, with all of us present for the entire working hours. I'm not sure if GoTo Meeting, Cisco Webex, and other solutions have the virtual office setup option. They could be good for webinars, but I'm not sure how good they are in really setting up a virtual office, or if that option's even available. What needs improvement? What could be better or what could be improved in Zoom is allowing us to log in and connect to people through Zoom phone. In some countries, they allow it, but here in India, they don't. There are a number of times people are outside, and it would have been good if I can connect with them using Zoom Phone. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for almost a year. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is stable solution. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom is scalable. I don't see any challenge on scalability from this solution. How are customer service and support? I've reached out to the Zoom technical support team, particularly via chat. I've received good response from them, so whenever I need inputs from them, I just need to contact them via chat. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I was using Microsoft Teams, but I could not set up the rooms the way I wanted, so I decided to move to Zoom from Microsoft Teams. How was the initial setup? Zoom installation is straightforward. What about the implementation team? I implemented this myself, so in-house. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I pay yearly for the Zoom license. Which other solutions did I evaluate? I evaluated Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Skype for Business, GoTo Webinar, GoTo Meeting, and Zoho Meeting. What other advice do I have? Zoom is a cloud-based solution. We're using the latest edition of this solution. We have 10 users of this platform in our company, but we're not planning to increase the number of users. It's enough. I do the deployment and maintenance of this solution myself. I don't need a technical team to do it. I can recommend Zoom to other people who may want to start using it. I'm giving Zoom a rating of nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ability to share content is great and I appreciated the high level of audio quality What is our primary use case? I use this solution for chat, video calls, meetings, basically for any interaction with people. I'm a network architect. What is most valuable? Sharing content is a great feature. The audio quality was fantastic most of the time and I found it very user-friendly. What needs improvement? Additional security would be welcome; an extra layer, whether it's an additional log-in requirement or something on the servers. There is always the possibility of meetings being hijacked or encryption going to China. It would also be helpful to have more control over who attends meetings. An additional feature I'd like to see would be a whiteboard which would be very productive for some of our meetings. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for many years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is pretty impressive, especially taking into account the huge growth of the user community. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We previously used Skype but switched to Zoom because of the features and better quality. How was the initial setup? The initial setup was very simple, it was automatically installed on my laptop. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to install, but the stability and security could be improved What is our primary use case? We are a market research firm. We use Zoom for a few instances. I used to use Zoom on a regular basis for meetings for both my business and my office work. However, as the project has evolved over the last three years, we are focused on Microsoft Teams. It would be 70% to 30%. How has it helped my organization? What needs improvement? It was similar to password-based security when connecting to anyone. When a large number of people join in, there is a lot of noise. Random people become accustomed to receiving these invitations. They can also join without invitations, as they used to. As a result, there was a lot of noise earlier. Right now, I'm not dealing with that problem. But, in and out, there may be a few security web issues with Zoom. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but connectivity frequently drops when we are connected to Zoom compared to other logins or chat boxes. We are dealing with that issue. The voice quality could improve, and there are issues with the background. I believe the background has changed in the last two to three months, or even in the last year. In Teams, we have the ability to change our own backgrounds. We can get a background that is unique to us. I believe Zoom does not yet support this feature. Or, if it is enabled, it is not functioning properly. Its background does not function properly. Noise cancellation should be available. Both noise cancellation and voice cancellation should be included. The number of people who attend the interviews or webinars, combined with those who join in suddenly, creates a lot of chaos. That can be minimized. Background options, such as customized backgrounds, should also be provided. For how long have I used the solution? I have been working with Zoom for three and a half years. I'm not sure what version it is, but I recently updated to the latest version of Zoom. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Stability is always an issue with Zoom. I am not sure if it's going well right now or not because I'm only using it 30 percent of the time. I am not sure if they are on the right track with stability or not. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? When I used to connect, it felt a little that if you are a paid Zoom user, you can invite as many people as you want to that meeting. However, if you have a free version, you can only connect a limited number of people. I believe the maximum number of people is 15 or 25. That makes sense because if it's paid, then you have a lot of security policies in place. which is good for data security and network security because you have a passcode that is being generated. However, if you have the free version, you do not have a passcode. That is open to everyone. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have some experience with CloudEndure Disaster Recovery. I don't have much experience with technology. But, I have worked with cloud-based technologies. On the basic front, I have the knowledge. We are a firm. We use the Amazon cloud for everything, including data storage and other things, but I'm not an expert in that area. That is the IT person who will be in charge of that. I don't have any direct experience with the Amazon cloud. That is entirely handled by the IT department. We are using Microsoft Teams and Zoom. We primarily use Teams for communication. When compared, I believe Microsoft Teams is more stable than Zoom. With new features come new services in the Teams. And because we use Outlook, we are linked to a variety of other services. We can connect to users using various other services or various apps. We can work on a variety of other things when we are connected to Teams and directly connected to Outlook. When we are connected to Zoom, and we want to schedule a meeting, we must log into Zoom separately and then connect to the meeting, or we must schedule a meeting. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is straightforward. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There are both free and paid versions available. Which other solutions did I evaluate? I looked into CloudEndure Disaster Recovery for a project that required a few bits of data here and there. What other advice do I have? We had a business relationship with Zoom, we were partners. I would rate Zoom a seven out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible meetings, overall good features and capabilities What is our primary use case? We use Zoom for chatting, meetings, and for collaboration. If we are a team and we want to have a quick meeting, Zoom can facilitate an audio-only meeting. We are using the free version of Zoom. We don't use it in the company, it is only used for personal meetings. You can do a lot with the solution, such as sharing files or doing presentations, similar to how it is done in Microsoft Teams. I sometimes use Zoom if my customers do not use Microsoft Teams. What is most valuable? I have been satisfied with the features and capability of Zoom. What needs improvement? Zoom could improve by increasing the time limitation in the free version. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom is a stable solution. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? You can have as many people as you want in the Zoom meeting. It can be a one-on-one meeting between two people and if people want to join the meeting they can. The meeting participant can come to the meeting and ask if they can present, then they can go if they want. It is flexible and can scale. How are customer service and support? I have not used the technical support from Zoom. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used other solutions, such as Microsoft Teams. How was the initial setup? The implementation of Zoom is simple. If I want to collaborate with someone, they have the free client version where you need to install it, but you can also connect via the web without having to install anything. You only need to give someone a link to a meeting and it takes them to the browser of their choice, and then they log in they will be connected to the meeting. It is very simple. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The version I am using of Zoom is free. The free version of Zoom limits you based on the time you spend in a meeting. For example, it may give you a meeting of 30 minutes and then, if you want to have another 30 minutes, you can set up another meeting to have an extension. However, from time to time, Zoom gives you free extensions. It could give you an hour or two hours for free to use it. There's a licensed version of Zoom, but I haven't ever used it before. What other advice do I have? I would recommend Zoom to others. I rate Zoom a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supports multiple connections, allows you to change the background, and works on multiple devices What is most valuable? You can have multiple connections so that everybody can interact. You can change your background. If you're in your home and you don't want people to know what it looks like, you can pretty much change the background to any background that you want. It is pretty reliable. It works on multiple devices. It works on your phone and on your computer. What needs improvement? They can make it easier to use and more intuitive. Ease of use is always a key for selling a product. For how long have I used the solution? I started using it during the pandemic. What do I think about the stability of the solution? For the most part, it has been stable. I never really had any issues with it crashing, having to call in twice, or anything like that. It is pretty reliable. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? I've experienced larger meetings, and it works fairly well. We had a meeting with more than 50 people on it, and that was pretty impressive. It may have been the enterprise version. I guess enterprises have licenses to do certain things. I don't really know for a fact, but that would be my guess. How was the initial setup? You just download it and go. When you're on your device, you just download the client, and then you attend the meetings. What other advice do I have? Just from my perspective about it, I would give it a nine out of 10. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, simple to use, and very stable What is our primary use case? I primarily use the solution for virtual meetings. What is most valuable? The solution is easy to use. It's got a simple, easy-to-understand user interface. The solution is stable. The product scales well. The installation is very easy. What needs improvement? I cannot recall coming across any missing features. It works well enough. I've never had any issues with the product itself. There were some security issues early on, however, they have fixed the problem, and now it is fine. The solution could always use better performance. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using this solution for two years now. It's been a while. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is very good. It's reliable and works when you need it to. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? You can scale this solution. If you need to expand it, you can do so in order to incorporate more people. We have a few thousand users that use the product in our company currently. It's pretty widely used. How are customer service and support? I haven't had any issues with the product. Therefore, I've never spoken with technical support. I cannot comment on how helpful they would be, or how responsive due to never having dealt with them directly. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I also use Microsoft Teams, and I prefer using that over Zoom. How was the initial setup? The initial setup is not overly complex or difficult. It's quite straightforward and very simple. A user shouldn't have any problem with the process. What about the implementation team? I can handle the implementation myself. I do not need the assistance of an integrator or consultant. The entire deployment is very quick. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I don't have any details in regards to the licensing or the general cost. It's not an aspect of the solution I deal with. What other advice do I have? I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten overall. I've mostly been happy with its capabilities. I would recommend the solution to other users or organizations. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm pretty satisfied with the user interface What is our primary use case? Most of my organization uses Zoom. I'm in sales and everyone in this department uses it. Tech and sales use a combination of Zoom and Teams. Occasionally, we might use something like a Cisco WebEx when the customer requires it. For example, we deal with federal government clients and intelligence agencies, and they have strict requirements for communications security. What is most valuable? I'm pretty satisfied with Zoom's user interface. What needs improvement? My company uses the Zoom security setting that requires the host to admit users. The host often forgets to do that, so you sometimes have a lot of people sitting out there. It would be nice if Zoom made it obvious that somebody is in the waiting room. Also, Zoom could add the ability to have multiple users share screens. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for at least two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Zoom does seem to use a fair amount of resources on your system. If you have other apps open, the audio can get really choppy sometimes if you try to do something else, like send an email. I did not notice this until just recently, so I don't know if this is something Zoom changed or if my system needs to be updated. How are customer service and support? I've never had to use tech support for it. It just works. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Before we started using Zoom, we were using WebEx. Quite honestly, I think the reason the company switched was purely political. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom nine out of 10. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for virtual meetings; can be used anywhere and anytime What is our primary use case? I use this product on a daily basis for virtual meetings and calls. We are a relatively small organization but use it often. I also use it for some of my private calls. What is most valuable? Zoom is very easy to use and the scheduling is very good. We can share a link whenever and wherever we like. What needs improvement? The solution should be more secure because sometimes files are shared and presentations are recorded. For how long have I used the solution? I've been using Zoom for almost two years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is quite good; I'm using the free version, so there is a 40-minute time limit. Everyone knows about that and it's not a big issue, you can always reconnect. How was the initial setup? The setup is very easy, anyone can do it. What other advice do I have? I rate the solution eight out of 10. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use for people with no tech background What is our primary use case? Everyone in the company uses it, so it's about a few dozen. I use it for interviews and group discussions but very rarely for meetings because there are security issues on that level. So I don't share proprietary information on Zoom, but I use it frequently for normal discussion. Obviously, now that people are getting back to work, we're not using it as much, but it's still useful. How has it helped my organization? Zoom is more accessible for people without a lot of tech knowledge. So let's say you're setting up a Zoom call with your parents, and they don't have the hardware or other things you need on their computer. It's easy to Zoom with them over the phone rather than inviting them to a meeting and getting them to a place with a microphone and a screen. It's highly mobile and easy for them to join the conversation. What is most valuable? I like Zoom's ease of use and how easy it is for non-tech people to interface with it. Other video conferencing solutions can be somewhat challenging for non-tech people, so you often end up waiting for people to connect. Although Microsoft Teams is probably a better enterprise product overall, it's not as good for people who don't have that kind of tech history. Also, I've had some microphone issues and connection issues with Teams. What needs improvement? Security is something Zoom lacks. If you're trying to get proprietary buy-in and enterprise buy-in, security is the top priority. And even though the user interface is simple, every solution could use a tune-up in that department. I found it easy, but those things are not difficult for me. Of course, I can't speak for older adults who might not have experience interfacing with these things. Maybe Zoom could be made easier for them. But again, when it comes to ease of use, Zoom is on the lower and higher-end, depending on how you look at it. We don't use Zoom for presentations, so I'm unsure if it already has this feature. But if Zoom could enable you to present directly, that's something that would add a lot of value. For how long have I used the solution? We've been using Zoom for over a year. What do I think about the stability of the solution? I haven't had any issues. However, once you get beyond a certain number, it becomes very dependent on the admin to figure out who should be talking. The more people you have, the more difficult it will be to keep track. But I suppose that's a function of any meeting. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Zoom's scalability depends on whether people are following Robert's Rules of Order or how amenable your staff is to have those kinds of meetings. If they're not used to that kind of thing, then you have people speaking out of turn, so it depends on how good your moderator is. Generally speaking, though, the more people on a call, the more difficult it is to manage who's speaking or keep track of who is who. Hopefully, we won't be expanding our usage any time soon because that would mean things have gone south in terms of the pandemic. For now, our usage will remain steady, and I don't see it expanding to that extent. Even if you have customers across different markets, it won't be expanded on one end because the user base on the proprietary end won't increase. How are customer service and support? You really didn't need tech support for Zoom. Something terrible would have to happen before you called Zoom tech support. Even then, you have your internal IT team for stuff like this, but it's not a cumbersome app. People have security issues. They get hacked. I know of a few people who had their Zoom meetings interrupted with frat-boy antics, racist trolling, and all kinds of crazy things. We've never had those kinds of issues, but if your password gets out or something like that, you may have to call tech support and see if they can block some IP address. But we've never had to deal with that kind of issue. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? People at this company use Skype and Webex fairly frequently, but Webex is more of an onsite on-prem thing. For example, Webex is used when you don't want to go upstairs to talk to your coworker or you can't fit that many people in a conference room. Webex is more appropriate for direct presentations. We don't use Zoom for that kind of thing. But Zoom is easier to use overall than Webex, Teams, and Skype. How was the initial setup? Setting up Zoom is incredibly easy. Let's say you're told that you need to go to a Zoom conference that starts in five minutes. You can set yourself up in that time and not be late. With some of these other solutions, you're doing mic checks, interface checks, internet checks, etc. It's easy to set Zoom up right away. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom seven out of 10. Again, I would say seven because of ease of use, how widely available it is, and how easy it is to adapt. But I don't know how well it can work at the large enterprise level. For our normal usage, I think it's solid. At the same time, I wouldn't present via Zoom unless I had an experienced presenter. You have to keep the audience's attention or use Webex so the presentation is onscreen. When using Teams or Webex, you're sharing screens, so it's a direct kind of thing. In Zoom, you have a camera, and you're presenting. In my experience, it's not a direct-to-screen presentation. It's more of the audience watching you present from a screen. So that requires a little bit more attention. If you're having a town hall or something along those lines, I would say Zoom is the way to go. On the other hand, if you're trying to do something that involves specifications and very minute details, use Teams or Webex. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, simple document sharing, but more channel building features needed What is our primary use case? We use Zoom internally and externally in our organization for communicating with associates or with clients. How has it helped my organization? Zoom has benefited our company because it is easy to set up and for clients to use. When we are doing presentations or discussions at various levels of sales it is a good tool. What is most valuable? The solution is easy to use and loads up documents for sharing. What needs improvement? There was a situation not long ago when there were some security fears. Some users had somebody else take control of their calls. They might have addressed these issues now, but the security needs to continue to be upgraded. There are certain ways you can build channels for clients and opportunities in Teams that would be a benefit to add to Zoom. I have been using Teams more than Zoom because it has a lot more capabilities for sales and communication, building, and working with the team. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately one year. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability is good. I do not remember Zoom having any glitches, or time-out issues, it always seemed consistent. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? The solution is highly scalable. We extensively use Zoom, we have approximately 24,000 employees in my organization and many, if not all, have used Zoom. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I use Teams and Zoom in my company. How was the initial setup? The setup of the solution is straightforward. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom a seven out of ten. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Popular, with a web-based interface, but does not support file sharing What is our primary use case? We use Zoom to communicate with colleagues and hold meetings with colleagues and clients. What is most valuable? It's popular. Many people use it not only personally, but also in businesses. What needs improvement? When you have a large group of people on Zoom, the focus becomes hazy. When there are larger groups, people can become easily distracted. When you have 10 people and three or four of them are primarily engaged in the conversation, the rest of the group has ventured or wandered off. I am not sure if it's a complaint. It's simply a fact. I would like to see better video quality, especially when it's being used by a large group of people using it. I'm not aware of any file transfer capabilities with Zoom. It would be useful to be able to share files with my colleagues. There are some things that we require that Zoom does not have. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately one year. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Our company is small. When we use Zoom, we may have one client and possibly another group of participants who are not affiliated with the organization. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Because we are in the software development and implementation business, we use other tools in addition to Zoom. While we are on a call, we use Go to Assist, and Fast Support to track our time and transfer files. How was the initial setup? We access it through the Zoom web application. We don't install it or publish it. What other advice do I have? I would rate Zoom a seven out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beneficial functionality and convenient to use What is our primary use case? We use Zoom in our organization for internal meetings. What is most valuable? Zoom is very convenient to use and the basic functions work well for us. What needs improvement? Zoom could improve by allowing multiple users to share their screens at the same time. We have been satisfied with the basic functions, but if we want something more robust to emulate the office environment that you can see different screens, raise your hands, and have pop-up questions everyone can see. Zoom could improve on these features to make it more like a chat room. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately six months. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom an eight out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good user interface and has the ability to share screens but it may interfere with device settings What is our primary use case? I primarily use the solution for client meetings. In most cases, our customers are government customers. They're using the government version of Zoom. What is most valuable? The user interface is fine. I don't have any issue with the pricing. The technical support is okay. It does offer collaboration. You can share your screen. What needs improvement? I'm not sure how good the solution is for file sharing. However, that might not be the type of functionality you need for this type of project. I don't know whose product is at fault, however, if you've ever had to go from Zoom to Teams to WebEx, it really messes around with your device settings. In the case of my microphone, I may have a USB microphone, and all of a sudden I'm using the microphone in my camera. Or my speakers, if they're plugged into my laptop, now all of a sudden those don't work. That's something that's kind of annoying. However, that might not be the fault of Zoom. How are customer service and support? I haven't had any issues with technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? The company mainly uses Microsoft Teams. I only use Zoom for when a customer wants to have a meeting and they need to use Zoom. We used to use WebEx, however, we don't really use it anymore. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The pricing of the solution is fine. What other advice do I have? I'm just an end-user. I'd probably rate the solution at a seven and that is only due to the fact that we're a Microsoft shop, and we have a lot of Office 365. Our use of Teams is very integrated into the files that we create and store and access. Therefore, Zoom is not the most used product in our company. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality communication, plenty of functionality, and operates in low bandwidth What is our primary use case? I use Zoom for communication. What is most valuable? The quality of the connection from Zoom is very good. There are many functions and features available. I am only a basic user and it has more than I will ever use. It has lower bandwidths than other products that we have used and has worked well. It is important to have good quality sound and video than anything else. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for approximately three years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? The stability has been good but it could still improve. However, I have not found a better solution. How are customer service and support? I have not ever needed to use technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I have used Microsoft Teams and when comparing it to Zoom, Teams is more bandwidth-heavy, I find it cuts out a lot. I am generally in low bandwidth areas these days and I find it problematic to keep up with the conversations. Teams is similar to Zoom in which they both have a lot of features. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The cost of Zoom is approximately $150 USD annually. What other advice do I have? I rate Zoom a ten out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Public Cloud Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An affordable, easy, and user-friendly tool useful for setting up virtual meetings What is our primary use case? Zoom is quite easy to use and user-friendly. The main purpose of Zoom is to hold virtual meetings. What is most valuable? Zoom has many features, but our company uses the solution's basic features, like scheduling meetings on the calendar, chatting, and sharing screens and documents. What needs improvement? The only limitation in Zoom is related to the time limit for a call, which is about 40 minutes. The aforementioned area can be considered for improvement. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom since 2020, around COVID-19. My company is just a customer of Zoom. I use the solution's latest version. What do I think about the stability of the solution? It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten. Around 15 people in my company use Zoom. Zoom is used at least once every couple of days, but in the past, Zoom was used every day. Personally, I plan to increase the use of the solution since I prefer to have more virtual meetings. How are customer service and support? I haven't interacted with the solution's technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? I had used Skype, which was exclusively for personal use. How was the initial setup? I rate Zoom's initial setup phase around nine to ten, on a scale of one to ten, where one is a difficult setup and ten is an easy setup. The solution is deployed on an app, which is an on-premises version. Zoom's initial download or deployment process was completed in a couple of minutes. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I rate the product's pricing two or three on a scale of one to ten, where one is low price and ten is high price. Price-wise, it is an affordable solution. The cost, in addition to the standard licensing fees, is related to the premium. Generally, a person can use it for free or go for a premium if they want to upgrade or extend the meeting time. What other advice do I have? I think Zoom is a great tool. I recommend Zoom to others because I found it very easy to use, especially for old people unfamiliar with technology. With Zoom, you just send the link and the invite to allow a person to join a meeting easily. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten. Which deployment model are you using for this solution? Rated 5 out of 5 by from A tool with a free version and a deployment phase that takes around two minutes What is our primary use case? I join meetings via Zoom only when someone sends me a link to join it. I don't use it actively. I use Zoom to attend general meetings with my company's suppliers or customers. What is most valuable? I hardly use Zoom. I just connect to Zoom and attend the meeting of whoever has set it up for me on Zoom. There isn't something that I like particularly about Zoom. What needs improvement? Some windows on Zoom can look hidden. When you join a meeting in Zoom, you may feel it is difficult to find some windows until you click a few buttons to help you eventually get to the window you want to see. I operate on a macOS, where the chat window is not immediately available when I join a meeting. In general, Zoom's UI needs improvement. The appearance of important windows in Zoom, especially the chat window, is an area that needs improvement. For how long have I used the solution? I have experience with Zoom. I am just a user of the solution. What do I think about the stability of the solution? Stability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? My company has around five users of Zoom. How are customer service and support? I never had a reason to use the solution's technical support. Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? In our company, we normally use Microsoft Teams, but we use Zoom whenever there is a client that requires us to be on a call via Zoom. How was the initial setup? I carried out the setup phase of Zoom a couple of years ago, so I don't remember whether its procedure was complex or straightforward. The deployment phase of Zoom took two minutes to be completed. Regarding the deployment process, I just downloaded the Zoom installation file and pressed the install option to install Zoom on my system. What about the implementation team? I managed the installation phase of Zoom in our company. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I use Zoom's free version. What other advice do I have? Zoom is a product that offers users convenience, so you won't be left out of any meetings, especially when others need or prefer to hold meetings on Zoom. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten. Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A stable tool to hold virtual meetings that also helps with its file extraction capabilities What is our primary use case? I use Zoom for virtual meetings and video communication. What is most valuable? Our company is interested in Zoom's extraction capabilities and uses it as a transformation tool. Zoom can convert a JSON file to an XML file without the need to involve coding and by using the drag and drop feature available in the solution's UI because it's not for our internal use but for our customers who don't want to write scripts. What needs improvement? Zoom's stability is an area with certain shortcomings that need improvement. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Zoom for three to five years. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? It is a scalable solution. I am unsure about the number of users who use Zoom in my company. How are customer service and support? I have never used the solution's technical support. Which other solutions did I evaluate? I don't think my company evaluated other options in the market before choosing Zoom. What other advice do I have? I recommend the solution to those planning to use it. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.
