Rational AppScan Enterprise Edition continues to be the platform for centrally managing application security testing and integration into the software development lifecycle. To evolve with client needs, the AppScan Enterprise Server now provides the central management server for both dynamic application security testing (DAST or black box) and static application security testing (SAST or white box).

AppScan Enterprise Server Basic provides all the functionality of Reporting Console for up to 10 concurrent users. Reporting Console Users can be migrated to AppScan Enterprise reporting only users. With AppScan Enterprise Server Basic clients can easily upgrade to enterprise level dynamic application security testing (DAST or black box) or static application security testing (SAST or white box).
