The IBM PCIe 4 Dual Port Optical Fiber Channel is a high-performance x8 short-form adapter that provides two ports of 32 GB Fiber Channel capability by using SR optics. Each port can provide up to 6,400 Mb/s bandwidth per port. The adapter operates at link speeds of 8 Gb/s, 16 Gb/s and 32 Gb/s, and automatically negotiates to the highest speed possible.
