overall great with the exception that not all vive supported games are also cosmos supported. and a slight delay in responce to the contollers

HTC Vive Cosmos
I ordered this item for my 15 year old son. We were concerned because initial reviews by prominent pc hardware publications did not take kindly to the inside-out tracking system on the Cosmos which made hand tracking frustratingly inconsistent.
Being a veteran consumer of PC hardware I made the purchase anyway because I figured updates could solve most of these issues and a top tier company like HTC isn’t going to shrug it off and hope consumers don’t notice.
Well, my son purchased a number of VR games on Steam as well as made use of the included free Vivecast and has reported zero issues with the hand tracking, even on challenging rhythm games or first person shooters.
He did initially say there were lighting issues with his room but we bought LED lights to fix that issue.
He’s putting most of his game time into VR now and couldn’t be happier with the Cosmos. I recommend this purchase.

Almost perfect
Its fun and I enjoy the hell out of it but I have a hard time getting it to focus all the way there's always some part of it out of focus

Great VR setup
I bought this for my son for his birthday. I love that everything from a VR perspective is in the box. You can also upgrade specific components if you want. However, it did not come with all the right cables for his new computer.

Wonderful but expensive
Was hard to figure out at first and had to buy a larger video drive. Once we did that it's wonderful.

Great visuals, poor tracking.
The display is great but the controller tracking is much worse than Windows Mixed Reality headsets that came out 3+ years ago.
