Great for home and small businesses
Received this AP in a fairly modest simplistic looking brown box, but once out and plugged in my first impressions were that it couldn't be that simple to setup? It was as simple as downloading the app on my phone, plugging it in, scanning the code and then simply following the instructions to setup a SSID and it was up and working within a minute or two.
I then decided to push it a bit and still was easily able to setup radius authentication and setup various other SSIDs with different authentication very easily. This becomes even more simpler if using more than one as all the settings are then saved in the cloud and then any additional APs you add (again buy simply scanning the code) can pick up all the same setting and be operational within seconds. These additional APs can then be placed anywhere, even separate buildings, and will all be configurable from the one app/web portal.
Although I have not used the feature the meshing is also simple and easy to setup and this could be a real benefit to some users where there is no existing cabling but need to extend the existing wireless easily.
This would be ideal for small or mid size businesses, or great at home either as a single AP or as part of a small network. Perfect for anyone who doesn't know a lot about IT as plenty of support, tutorial videos and forums available as well as easy to follow instructions, most people shouldn't have any issues even with limited technical knowledge.
Would certainly recommend although it is limited from a configuration point of view, although it has a lot of easy to configure options if you wanted to get right down into the detail and do higher level config then this probably wouldn't be the AP for you.

Affordable and portable AP soulution
I bought this product as an alternative to other major AP's as this was more affordable and I have used Aruba products in the past and they have all been great. Setup was quick and easy and once it was set up, I didn't have to tinker with the settings for best performance.

Pretty good AP for the cost
Dead simple to setup. Low cost and provides most of the features you would want. Management from the mobile app is a breeze and nice feature to have. Receive notifications when the network is down. I would rate it a 4.5 but since that isn't an option I gave it a 5.

Quick and Easy Set up, Lacks Range and Features
Summary:
For the price point this is an excellent product, especially for someone with little IT experience or a business with no in-house IT support. If you know what you're doing then these lack the features you'd want to fully customise your network. The extra ports and PoE pass-through on the unit are a great little feature for offices with limited Ethernet availability.
Unboxing:
Packaging was nice and simple, good to see lots of recyclable materials and not too much plastic faff. Device is a nice size for a desktop and easy on the eye,
Set Up:
Set up is ridiculously easy , plugged the AP into a PoE port waited around 2-3 minutes (in which downloaded the app), set up an account, scanned the device and it was ready to go. All in under 10 minutes very impressed.
Perfomance:
Set this up in a work office environment, speed is great when in the same room but the performance drops off drastically at around 15 meters, a couple of walls, or if you're above or below the AP by a floor. Features like traffic shaping/monitoring and custom guest portals etc. are non-existent or thin on the ground but if you're just looking for a simple staff WiFi in your office this is great.
Conclusion:
If you want to set up a simple un-involved WiFi at a great price, this is your go to.
If you want to use advanced features and have IT professionals to hand this is not the one for you.

Quick & Easy Setup for a Small Office
I got my AIO, unboxed it and within 30 minutes had it set up and ready for end users to use.
