Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Power Pro Laptop Ever! This is hands down the best computer money can buy. It's not just the best laptop but the best desktop out there. This is a great improvement over the g8 and previous models. There's so much to talk about. 1st off the screen is sharp and crispy as can be. It's a better screen for media watching than my MacBook Pro 16 inch and a lot faster. this is a desktop replacement, no other way to say it. A important factor is that this is for gamers. I don't game as much as I used to but I loaded up COD and no drop in frames or any lag or issues. This is fully maxed out on all the setting so my jaw just dropped how good this is. Now a couple of important points, this isn't the best on the lap on the sofa or something when gaming. It does get hot, but nothing crazy. It also weights a bit bunch after the first day you will forget it. the keyboard is nice, its very workstation type and I did enjoy typing emails. The battery life is great if your just media consuming or surfing, when doing video editing or gaming I noticed its not the best and being plugged in just makes windows works better (even though they say no difference). The trackpad is nice, however I still prefer the MacBook in this factor. Windows 11 is good as well, but still needs refinement. In conclusion, this laptop is a BEAST and its not for everyone but the people who do get it will not be disappointed!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A mobile PC powerhouse in a laptop body This HP ZBook Gury G9 truly is a fantastic way to get desktop performance in a mobile form factor. It has a 16-inch display with plenty of desktop real estate and a full keyboard, too. It's a bit heavy, too, so this is not something you carry around to browse the internet in coffee shops. This is a legitimate work/gaming machine. The 12th gen Intel processor has 16 cores and gave me desktop solid Geekbench CPU scores (1728 single core, 13534 multicore!). It provides the latest and greatest connectors with Thunderbolt 4 USC B, but it also supports the older HDMI, USB A, mini DisplayPort, and ethernet connectors. The audio is pretty good and the display is 1920x1200, which I believe is a 16:10 ratio. Build quality is great and the aluminum body feels rock solid. This PC would be great for graphics and CAD work, although that isn't my area of focus. Personally, I focus more on ML and can say that this HP laptop is more than capable of training TensorFlow models in a reasonable time. The fans kick on during heavy workload, but they really are not that load or disturbing. Overall, this is a great machine and a great way to be mobile and stay highly productive.

It has everything that an artist or a gamer needs to to perform at their absolute best. I have no problem hopping onto adobe or playing my favorite games. I also appreciate the added security of wolf pro, given me peace of mind that my personal information is safe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome laptop I received a few day ago the HP ZBook Fury 16 inch G9 and it is a beast!!! There is a lot to say about this laptop, so let's get started... Screen: I like the size, you can get 2 windows next to each other and still be able to work nicely. The brightness is awesome, even in a clear environment you can still see correctly. Battery: From 0 to 100%, it will charge in 1h, I made the test. The charger is massive, it is a good and bad point, it charges quick but it takes space in your bag. The battery will hold nicely for a normal usage. Of course it depends greatly on the CPU loads. Processors: 24 CPUs will allow to perform clean multithreading and run several programs without problems. Also you need to add 2 GPUs, they help to keep the CPU from managing videos. RAM: 32GB, this is great, it allows to really use CPUs and GPUS at their maximum. Hard disk: 1 TB SSD, same thing here, all you need, no restriction or limitation. Also another good point is that the HDD is encrypted so your data are protected all the time. Connection: Same thing here, very complete, USB-C, USB-3, RJ1394, SD card, HDMI, mini video, BT, WIFI. It is very complete. Weight: this is the low point of this laptop, it is very heavy to move around. Another nice point is that it will automatically update to Windows11 for free. Another nice thing is that you can upgrade the HW, it is very easy to open the back. I like to way you can unlock the computer, it can be by code, fingerprint or camera. Now in term of usage, it is very very powerful, I run python scripts, video processing, streaming, all in parallel and no problem. It is a beast... You can do everything in parallel!!! So I strongly recommend this laptop to people who needs a lot of power for work, video editing, gaming but does not need to move around a lot.

I do a lot of video editing and this laptop has made it a breeze and can handle very large files without crashing. It stays cool to the touch and is light enough to carry easily. I love this laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Highly Customizable Workhorse! If you're a professional that lives in the Windows ecosystem it's really hard to beat this mobile workstation. With an insane amount of configuration options, it's easy to get something that's perfect for your application. Form factor is a bit bulky, but build quality is solid. It's certainly not a laptop but a mobile workstation that you can work with at the office and easily take home as well. Given the new hybrid work schedule a lot of places are adopting, it makes your life a lot easier. Performance is killer. You can customize the system to be as tame or as crazy as you need. Multiple M.2 slots and up to 128GB of ram means this is a true workhorse that can handle whatever professional applications you can throw at it. The I/O is plentiful so there's no real need for docks or dongles. My one gripe is the amount of bloatware that comes standard. Considering this is likely to be used in professional applications where an IT department will be managing the system, it comes with a crazy amount of garbage preinstalled. It was bad enough that it was severely impacting performance. After a getting it back to a stock Windows experience everything was solid again. Overall this thing is a beast of a machine in a small form factor. It has been serving me well and has been a joy to work with.

What a huge improvement in design for this G9, I have been able to tackle heavy usage due to gaming as well as work purposes and it has not sacrificed performance.There are some great features with the keyboard such as easy clean spill as well as a fingerprint reader. I'm blown away by the security management on this and ensuring a trusted platform to work on, if you're in the market for an amazing workstation this is it! Not to mention the intel i7 core processor that supports all the functions you need.

The CPU and GPU easily handle anything you throw at them. The case and build quality are superb. The hinge is very smooth to close and open. Keyboard has a good amount of travel distance and very pleasant to type on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful and beautiful machine I’ve had the opportunity to test out this HP ZBook Fury 16 inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC for a few weeks. The large screen size has immaculate resolution and clarity. It’s makes doing fine detail work, such as photo editing, much easier. This powerful beast of a desktop replacement ran my favorite graphically intense game flawlessly with every setting maxed out. The 12 Gen Intel i7 processor and 32 GB installed RAM can keep up with my illustrator designing and gaming. It is a bit heavier than other streamlined laptops but the screen size, many connections, and long battery life makes up for the weight. I strongly recommend this laptop to people who needs a lot of power for gaming, work, and anything in between.

This is a great heavy duty laptop with Intel Core i7 processor for big jobs. Performance wise, it is fast, with beautifully sharp graphics displayed (Intel UHD Graphics). Laptop contains a desktop CPU. Heavier in weight than normal laptops, but forgivable given its performance. Camera quality is top notch. Advanced security features come standard. Laptop is very easy to get up and running. Keyboard similar to a desktop keyboard but includes a tiny drainhole for any spills that may occur (ingenious!) Keyboard is also backlit. Awesome sound quality by Bang & Olufsen. Big touchpad which I enjoy (hate tiny touchpads!) . Battery charges quickly. Battery performance is strong and long lasting. Hope battery keeps charges for years to come. There is a 3 year warranty. Laptop is also certified energy efficient. Family has been enjoying it and using it for gaming, videos, business and school purposes. All around great laptop and am very pleased with performance, speed, quality, sound and graphics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent laptop! I started using the HP ZBook Fury 16 G9 1 month ago. I am a data scientist by profession and I love gaming. I must say this laptop has delivered on both dimensions beautifully. I participated in a kaggle competition and had to run an XGBoost model on 200M records of data in my local Python notebook. My previous laptop used to heat up and make crazy noises. This laptop with 12 Gen Intel i7 processor and 32 GB installed RAM was a smooth run during the entire model building process. I loved playing Far Cry 6 on my laptop. Graphically, FC6 can really push your hardware to the limits, and this PC managed to do a great job with the game. I have enjoyed watching all 4K movies on Netflix and HBO Max. House of Dragons was more enjoyable with remarkable color accuracy in precise 4K resolution. Battery life is amazing, one full charge lasted for two days without gaming. Only thing that I'll improve is that the display does not come with a pen or touch input. Still a great laptop to buy and totally worth the money.

Long lasting battery with super expansion storage.it support all functionality. Features are way beyond. Well advanced security systems. Definitely worth for the price . It's perfect for watching videos, playing games, and editing art projects (for work or fun). I use it instead of my work computer to build and edit presentations because it looks so much more crisp and translates better when I save copies to present. All around, this is a fantastic machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a full on desktop replacement laptop!! I have been a fan AND user of HP products going back to the late 90’s and the HP Zbook Fury G9 does not disappoint. Note that I am mainly a desktop warrior so I use my laptops when I have to be mobile but WOW I think the Fury G9 is the first laptop that I can truly say is a desktop replacement and I really mean that. So lets get some specs and more going. Quick Specs for my particular build: CPU – I7 12850HX at 2.1ghz (16 core 12th gen) GPU – Nvidia RTX A2000 with 8gb (also has an Intel UHD GPU) SSD – Crucial 1tb NVME M.2 RAM – Hynix DDR5 ram 32gb split between two 16gb chips First a little TLDR: Pros: 1) Benchmarks extremely well and better than a lot of desktops, based on userbenchmark. My scores we 105% Desktop (seriously impressive), 74% Workstation, and 67% Gaming (quite respectable). 2) Power to spare for my needs which include a lot of photo editing and editing 4k video from my drone. 3) Super long lasting battery. 4) This laptop has the easiest access to the internal bays I have ever seen, one slide bar and no screws to remove the bottom panel. Literal genius! 5) An unbelievable about of expansion room. Up to 128gb of RAM in four memory slots, and four M.2 slots with two rated up to 4tb and two rated for up to 2tb for a total of up to 12tb of onboard storage!!! Cons: 1) Big and heavy, like early millennium era laptop heavy coming in at almost 1 ¼” thick and 5.468lb. BUT this is acceptable considering the intended use and the fact that, in my opinion, this is the FIRST actual usable desktop replacement laptop I have encountered. IN THE BOX/SETUP – Quick and to the point here, in the box you get the laptop itself and the power pack, all very well packaged with minimal waste of space and material. Setup is your standard Windows 10 setup process with an included step for registering your fingerprint on the included reader and your face should you so desire to. I went with fingerprint only and the reader recognizes my print first time every time since setting that up. Continuing on, in my case I force installed Windows 11 pro immediately on hitting the desktop. After letting Windows install all needed updates I immediately benchmarked it with the results below: USERBENCHMARK Overall system scores were as follows. GAMING scored in at 67% “Battle cruiser” which to me is quite impressive considering the laptop is geared towards being a workstation/desktop in a mobile platform. DESKTOP scored 105%! “UFO” just WOW! WORKSTATION scored 74% “Battleship” and I would have expected no less considering what this is. Now for the individual components all but one was considered above or way above expectations compared to similar systems, only the memory was performing below expectations and this may be due to a BIOS setting to enable XMP but I wanted an out of the box benchmark so I made no changes. The individual component scores are as follows. CPU scored at 99.7%, Graphics scored at 59.9%, Harddrive scored at 409%, Memory scored at 116% UNIGINE HEAVEN BENCHMARK 4.0 Scored 3441 with a max FPS of 275.9 USE/FEATURES – Now my personal preference on my main desktop, which happens to be an aging but still agile HP Envy, is to use three monitors at all times, as I heavily multi-task and perform other work while waiting for After Effects to render or when doing other work with Photoshop or Premier. As for the Zbook Fury it handles three monitors, including the laptop screen, easily and one could really add a fourth and fifth (I have no way to test this out) external monitor but I only have two spares to use with it for now. FOUR external monitors I believe can be accomplished because the Zbook Fury has 2 USB-C Thunderbolt ports which can handle monitors as well as a mini Displayport and an HDMI port. You also have two 5Gbps SS USB-A ports and of course and RJ-45 port. The included webcam at 5MP is crisp and clear, thanks HP for including a security cover!! Now I have not gamed on this laptop yet but I have been using my editing and effects software for several days now and man it renders soooo much faster than my 2016 HP Envy, it’s like night and day, and yes Envy I still love ya. Finally the system includes HP Wolf Security which helps protect the firmware and I believe also has some antivirus and antimalware features. HP Wolf is more geared to businesses which I am not but it’s just another layer of security in addition to the antivirus of your choice. Like I said this laptop is basically a full on desktop! FINAL THOUGHTS – I am still blown away by how this laptop performs, it is a beast and as I have already mentioned, I think this is the first true desktop replacement laptop I have encountered. IT is products like the HP Zbook Fury G9 that have kept me an HP customer for going on a quarter century and beyond!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome laptop This is a very powerful laptop by HP. It’s a sleek design and has plenty of great features. The keyboard is large and the trackpad is the biggest one I’ve seen on a laptop. The screen is huge and has great colors and graphics. Although I mostly use this for day to day work, it also functions really well for playing games as well as streaming videos. There is no lag in the speed of videos which is great, plus the quality is beautiful. I like that I don’t need a desktop anymore and that this laptop replaces any need for it. The only thing I don’t like is the laptop is a bit on the weighty side. However, since I use it mostly at home, it’s not a huge deal. Overall, excellent quality device with amazing features.

Pros: Extremely fast HP security features are great The features included are extremely high end Software features exclusive to HP are easy to use and very helpful. Love the fingerprint reader’s build. Keyboard is great, very responsive. Cons: Only one main con right now. As expensive and feature packed as this laptop is; the build materials don’t feel top tier and for the most part are plastic. That’s not to say the build isn’t good, I think I would have liked to see some metal alloys used like I normally see in my higher end business laptops.

I bought a laptop just to play Age of Empires, but boy did this laptop bring far better capabilities than that one game. Graphics on point. Speed fast. Everything seems great so far!

With its powerful performance and top-notch security features, it's a dream come true for professionals in need of a reliable workstation. However, its somewhat bulky design and high price point might not appeal to everyone, making it more suitable for those with specific demanding work requirements. I personally think it’s well-worth the money and use it on a regular basis for my design job.

This is a sleek and stunning, looking laptop, but has high power functions I need for work. The graphics are fantastic and really make my job a lot easier. The editing software‘s are above par and I’m still finding new things to teach myself. There’s plenty of storage. This is lightweight and presents well when I have to show clients presentations. You will be highly impressed and satisfied. Makes a great gift! I highly recommend.
