It was great for three months, but now it's a doorstop
I bought this in April and it's basically an $1800 doorstop. Problems with freezing, not charging, and the command prompt box started happening in June. I'm a court reporter and I can't have this happening. The final straw was it freezing during jury selection while a courtroom full of prospective jurors, the judge, and three attorneys stared at me while I switched to my trusty old HP laptop. I took this new one to the approved HP service center, which I thought was just a drop-off point, but I guess Geek Squad does the work there. Of course nothing was found to be wrong with it at all, even though I gave them the laundry list of what was happening. I guess this is the end of the road, but that's totally unacceptable.

Mislead and not supported
Terrible! Slow! Awful support! The systems takes forever to boot up and HP simply cannot resolve nor willing to change it. I thought I bought the best, fastest system there is. That is simply not the case. Buyers beware!

Pretty Cool Laptop.
Much better than the previous two laptops I bought. Setup was easy and it's much more functional. Also, it works without issues whereas the one I bought ~4-5 years ago had issues from the beginning.

Warranty SCAM
HP does not keep their warranty promise!
The warranty for this computer is listed as 3 year on the HP WEB SITE when I bought it. It was even engraved on the computer itself as such. However, HP team denied this warranty and downgraded to 1 year warranty despite all the proof I gave them. They claimed that the warranty printed on the computer is NOT VALID. I feel this is a horrible scam considering it is supposed to be a reputable company.

Almost there...
This is a good PC you can certainly upgrade to your needs. I would have given 5 but for the keys and keyboard layout. The keys themselves should be bigger and having number keys in the right side makes the alphabets to be shrunk. It is very uncomfortable.

HP ZBook Firefly 16 inch G11 Mobile Workstation
I believe my ZBook is a very fine computer. It is built of high quality materials and it performs as represented. However, there are things that I do not appreciate as stated below:
1. Packaging was inadequate in my opinion. Although the ZBook arrived in good shape I thought given the cost of the computer the packaging would have been better. HP would do itself well by taking a look at how Apple ships there computers.
2. I did not like Wolf Security. It interfered with my linked Excel worksheets and would not allow them to update properly. I removed the Wolf Security Software Programs in the specific sequence as recommended on YouTube. Subsequently, everything works fine.
3. I do not like the fact that HP loads all kinds of non-value added software. It slows the computer and I am not comfortable as to what information they are actually gathering.

Still No HP Warranty Update – What’s Going On?
Why are these laptops (EVO) still not showing up in the HP Warranty Check? We reached out to HP Support months ago, and they said they'd take care of it, but nothing’s been done.
On top of that, the product title clearly states 3-year support, but HP Support is now telling us it's only 1 year. So which is it? This is turning into a mess, and we need real answers, not just empty promises.

Good laptop, not a fan of HP
Great laptop but HP keeps on spamming me to write a review. It's bad enough I have to wipe the system and uninstall the useless HP applications, but the constant emails force me to give the whole experience two stars.
